Patachée

We ate here for lunch - and what a delight. The chef has a very good touch with his sauces. They compliment the meal perfectly. The wine suggestion was also perfect so overall we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

One of the best meals we’ve had in France- and we have eaten many great meals in this delicious country! In the US, you would expect to pay 3x as much for a comparable meal, and it would still have a hard time measuring up. Each course was well executed, each dish was perfection. Nothing was too fussy, just exciting flavors combined with heartfelt cooking of fresh local ingredients that left you wanting more! A cozy spot run by two friends, you’ll feel right at home. 10/10 recommend- I wish there were more restaurants like this.

What a find. Stopping overnight on the outskirts of Angers and found Patachée via Google with a great rating, and we were not disappointed. A small but perfectly formed menu with great variety. A complimentary house salad to start which was superb. Everything was cooking perfectly. Three courses for €41 was exceptional value when you are eating filet steak and langoustine. Compliments to the chef and the owners. If we are ever back in Angers we will return!

Enjoyed an excellent lunch. The duck was amazing. It's all around great experience. Would recommend it for all. Wish I had taken some pictures.
