Bonafide Bakery - Review - North Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"The staff at this Argentine and Uruguayan bakery is always super friendly, and every square foot of space seems to be filled with snacks, pastries, and imported goods, giving it a familiar feel to those of us with South American roots. The best things to get here are their delicate miga sandwiches featuring homemade crustless white bread (“miga” is what the white portion left behind is called in Spanish). Almost every Argentine and Uruguayan bakery has a selection of these ready-made sandwiches in a cold case, but Bonafide actually makes them to-order, including my favorite with a creamy, mayonnaise-laden mixture of celery, roquefort, and chopped walnuts. You can make a meal out of these little sandwiches, but they also work for just a quick snack alongside a cup of yerba mate before exploring the rest of 163rd Street." - Carlos C Olaechea

Just great, 4 stars on the food because they don’t offer more hot plates on breakfast, a nice piece of meat with eggs would give them 5 stars

Silvana,Susana yusme are amazing. Including the other staff members that work different shifts. They always get our drinks and food right, always smiling and tentative to our needs. The coffee is one of the best I have ever had all over the world, not to mention the delicious stake sandwich, it is just amazingly outstanding. The place is definitely is a 10/10. Will always come back to this location. Not to forget the free WiFi that you can use for your work or study.

Serving light Argentinian fare. The Spinach torte was good. You order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. Prices are not cheap. They serve beer and wine. Atmosphere was nice. Music was a bit loud and it was uncomfortable to hold a conversation. There's also a mini market offering Argentinian products. The mini Pavlova was amazing. I would definitely order it again. The passion fruit (maracuyà) had a rubbery texture and the chocolate mousse was awful.

Going to Patagonia becomes a “got a go there”the food is always fresh and delicious. The range goes from the sweetest pastry to the tender stakes. The service I consider part of family already. I invite everyone to have the experience.

The chef keeps burning the media lunas. I can’t eat them and now have to throw them away. Sunny isles location doesn’t burn them.

The skirt sandwich was delicious and a great value for the price. The medialunas were fresh and tasty, bringing me a little closer to Argentina with every bite.
