I saw this place in MTL blog and wanted to try the burger between 2 cheese sandwish, I felt its not gonna be enough & thought to order 2 but said let's try it first beyond good fresh ingredients and big sandwish.

Great food, fresh ingredients and a fair price. Tried the Zeke, which is a burger with 2x full-size grilled cheese as the buns. The food coma it induced was blissful.

Good poutine. I need to try the Michigan sauce!

Comfy place with kind staff and great food. The burger was classic and tasted very fresh. The poutine was great - lots of curds and thick gravy covering medium cut fries. All for a great price as well. Definitely recommended.

It's my girlfriend favorite fast food, but they deserve it. Traditional poutine is spot on. I've tried many burgers from fancy dinning restaurant to McDonald's. Honestly, nothing compare to the satisfaction of those burgers. The meat is fresh it's not too heavy, not to light and for an honest price. I'm a fan of flat patty when it comes to my burger. So it's a perfect fit for a satisfying meal.

Usually I don’t review places, but in this case it’s impossible not to. This place goes beyond my standards. Simple and not pretentious, Chez Philippe has the best poutine I’ve ever had, with lots of cheese curds, tasty sauce and fries fried to perfection. Above all, the service is very friendly and courteous.

Oh wow we are in Montreal for some appointments but also a vacation and this place did not disappoint. From the great poutine and burger. I highly recommend it. A little gem. Crispy fries, lots of gravy and cheese curds. Delicious. Told them we would be back.

We ordered online and they were even nice enough to call to check as we forgot to add condiments to a burger. They also recommended a sauce for another burger which was nice and turned out sooo good. Prices cheap and tastes much better than many fast food places! Definitely a cheat meal “go to”.
