Chinatown’s New Japanese Snack Bar Fleurs et Cadeaux Blurs the Line Between Front and Back of House | Eater Montreal

"The pocket-sized diner Patati Patata served as a big inspiration: the cooks who make your burgers also punch in orders, ask if you want a glass of wine, and handle everything — a setup described as both rewarding for staff and, as Schmidt put it, 'kind of screwed up how efficient it is.'" - Valerie Silva

24 Hours in Montreal: What to Eat and Drink | Eater Montreal

"I liked this diner-esque spot that riffs on tradition by using skinny fries for its poutine; it's open until 2 a.m., making it a good late-night option." - Tim Forster

Had more fun than I thought. It's like a chip stand in a mini resort. They even give you a pager so you can relax in chairs, grass or tables around the place. It can get busy. The burgers are excellent!

The only consistently great chip truck I've found, always good!!!

This is the place for an amazing poutine with consistency in their food, weather its hotdogs, fries, burgers, ice cream or bubble teas, you will always get the same friendly service and food! The staff are beyond nice, where it feels more like family, treating you like you are part of it. Even in the biggest rush, they are all smiles, and make you feel important! It's not just the food, its the whole vibe for me that makes us want to stop every time! Plus they have the best poutine around! Generous portions and they don't cheap out on the cheese curds from St Albert! You won't be disappointed, couldn't recommend enough.

Love it here, the food is great. I had a burger and fries with a sundae. Order your ice cream after your meal so it doesn’t help especially the soft serve cones on a hot day. They make so many that they’re not very cold but very worth it.

Always friendly, efficient staff. Beautiful view surrounded by small town charm and the food is absolutely delicious. Never disappointed. Charming eating area with so no matter the weather, customers are always welcome.

Easily one of the BEST places I’ve ever eaten at! Patati Patata in Plantagenet is a total gem. The food? So freaking good you’ll catch yourself eating with your eyes closed just to savor it. Every bite is next-level. Like seriously OMG!!! And the service? Out of this world. The staff are beyond friendly. They remember you, they’re always smiling, and even when it’s insanely busy on a Saturday, they make you feel like you’re the highlight of their day. That kind of energy is rare and SO appreciated. They’ve also got this super smart system: a little beeper that buzzes when your food is ready, so you’re not stuck awkwardly waiting in front of the window. So genius. Bonus: there’s a beautiful little park with a chapiteau right in front where you can sit, eat, and just enjoy the vibe (especially if you don’t like to be too crowded). Everything about this place is perfect; from the incredible food to the warm, welcoming service. 5 stars isn’t enough. If I could give it 10000, I would. Patati Patata is what every restaurant should strive to be. Best customer experience and best food EVER.

Amazing fast food and superb ice cream!! We were surprised by the quality of the food. The salad was very fresh and the cheese was melted just right. Will definitely have in our itinerary if we are traveling this side again!

Yelp
Still love to get myself a poutine once in a while. Size is much smaller today then what I was expecting. We have always shared, but I only took a bite as it was one layer of fries... still a good amount of cheese and gravy. This is half the size of a family poutine. $10
