"I saw that Plateau classic Patati Patata has opened a second outpost at Jean-Talon Market, bringing its small-set burgers, shoestring fries and olive-topped poutine to the market space." - Valerie Silva

I have mixed feelings about this place! I came because of the naming, they had creative vibe, cheap food and nice friendly people who worked there. But glasses were not cleaned properly I waited really long time. Kitchen is open and you see how they cook without gloves… And not all of the menu items were available. So I would say a decent place to sit and chat for those who don’t want to spend a lot of money. Portions are really big! If you hungry and budget limited - I think could be nice

I'm was not impressed. The food was okay. The meat was nicely cooked, and the bread was amazing. The poutine was average. The waiters didn't seem to care a lot about the clients, busy dancing and chatting together. For the first time in my life, I had to ask the waiter to lower the music volume. We couldn't have a decent conversation without screaming. All clients were annoyed.

Great little place that gives me small town fries shop vibes. Loved the fish burger, and it's my favourite type of fries! The music *was* pretty loud though, as other reviewers have said.

perfect portions of every dish. But beyond that the lovely little, almost slider-sized burgers are straightforward and no nonesense just how we like them. The traditionally prepared classic poutine follows suit as does everything else...until we get to the hot dogs. Now, we admit our surprise when a sliced and quartered sausage was served to us in a hamburger bun topped with coleslaw.. But you know what? It works and it's original. And for an entrée we had soups.  Both the onion soup and the borscht were exquisite.

Im soo disappointed with this restaurant! The poutine was soo dry, there wasn’t enough sauce at all! The fries were small and very thin! The cheese curds melted and tasted more like mozzarella! On top of all these, it’s expensive (10.90$ tax in) compared to the size! Don’t recommend! However, the service was great! Everyone was smiling and polite!

Not a good breakfast. Hot Dog Wieners instead of breakfast sausage and hot spicy beans instead of baked beans. And we got served bread endings for toast. They don’t know how to make a good breakfast.

Google
this place is if poutine tasted healthy, in a good way. loved the patatine which was poutine with raw vegetables. since the fries here are not your typical thick fry, they are super thin, the poutines here don't feel overwhelming and too heavy in the stomach.

There were 2 other tables when we've been greeted towards our table, we waited about 10 minutes until we got the food menu after we failed to get it by scanning the non working QR code. Coming for the food the fries was special, but cubes of cheese on the top were cold, small size burgers were good, meat was good, and ofcorse their playlist.
