Google
Great for Vegetables and Indian Groceries We recently went to Patel Brothers specifically to shop for vegetables, and it was a great choice. They have an excellent selection of fresh "desi" vegetables, which is exactly what we were looking for. Beyond the produce, the overall availability of Indian products is huge—you can find just about anything you need. If you're stocking up on Indian groceries or just need good quality vegetables, this is the place to go.

Nishant S.

Google
Store has degraded in quality of veggies they offer these days. From last few months i found brinjal has always been so bad even the gourds are not of good quality. Garlic section we usually see only Chinese garlic which is again a big disappointment.

Manisha P.

Google
Good store , get all your home needs for your Indian homes . Wish we can get more organic produce , especially pulses and snacks . Some veggies were not so fresh so rating low 4 stars only. Very organised store overall .

Uday G.

Google
They carry fresh produce, frozen food, and also have fresh bakery. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed with service or the quality of the products they sell. They have ample parking space and an improved AC system, the good thing about Patel brothers is that they listened to feedback from the customers and extended the sale 3 more weekdays which really helps customers that can't shop over the weekend.

Anji Reddy B.

Google
Nice experience, from live chapatis to every Indian snack along with all veggies and fruits. Especially mangoes 🥭 are more than awesome with better price than other. One could not look away.

Bishwas S.

Google
Wide range of Nepali and Indian grocery. You can find fresh produce, frozen veggies and snacks etc. There is also a bakery which makes naan, and other breads. Huge selection of groceries, rice, flour, spices, snacks, juice… Price seems slightly higher than some groceries but this place is clean and well managed. There is restroom inside and ample of parking space outside.

Jishnu L.

Google
Great groceries. Good selection of staples. Great prices. But their restroom has gone worse. There is no paper towel dispenser just a reel of paper. There is no soap in soap dispensers and they appear to be broken. There was a counter top home style soap dispenser and even that was empty. Whenever I go there is so much foot traffic and I can't believe they don't have money for these repairs. still the same

Abhigna R.

Google
We go every weekend here to buy groceries.we can find so many Indian groceries and vegetables for reasonable prices.

John H.

Yelp
I bought $37 worth of mango cartons labeled "deliciously sweet." However, the mangoes turned out to be very sour, raw, and inedible, so I felt that the price did not match the product. I sent an email to the customer care and they never replied.

Yelp
I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS store. They sell rotten things (including a picture), cannot and will not be held accountable for any bad practices and if asked questions will deflect. I bought a bhajan speaker from their store, when I found out it was broken I asked for a different piece. They told me I bought it from a vendor and not their store. So I asked to see if I could get the vendors number, they said he comes whenever he wants, we don't have his number. What the hell? So anyone can randomly come sell anything at their store?? Who knows what those namkeen packets have in them? Cuz you know- Patel brothers is not responsible! So basically if you buy something from their store and it's messed up or rotten. It's not their responsibility. Shop here if you really don't give a flying shit. I won't be shopping here and I will make sure I tell every Indian person I know OF THIS bullshit. RUINING THE NAME OF ALL PATELS AND INDIANS IN GENERAL WITH THIS BAD BUSINESS.

Muhammad N.

Yelp
Purchased Badam milk from irvin patelbros branch and it turned out to be spoiled/rotten, Called and was told to get refund on the next visit. I went to buy other stuff and asked for 4.99 refund. Person (Young male ) was very rude and asked for the spoiled milk to get the refund not the receipt, even he raised his voice. I'll never return for a place with very bad, pathetic customer service. I left without buying more groceries and will never return. I do not recommend this store to any one if you want to be treated with respect and courtesy .

Yelp
always charge more please check slip before. going out prices are so high funnel seed 15 dollars pkt

Yelp
It's a good place to get a decent selection of Indian groceries. However I found them to be pricey. I suggest sticking with the only the hard to find Indian items and go elsewhere for your everyday groceries. I also found the freezer selection to be disorganized, could've been because I went on one of their busiest days the day before Diwali.

Nikki G.

Yelp
if you get here early, you can get the best roti ever!! they have organic, plain, and with spice. All three are so good and made fresh

Yelp

Thank you and hats off to founder Mafatbhai Patel and his family's hard work we are all enjoying today and in future

Yelp
Please check Expire Date before buying anything from this store. They have many items which are expired but they are still for sell. Also, some items will not have any expiry date at all though they are perishable. It's illegal but still they manage to get away with this, I request the owners to take strict action.

Yelp
It's a one stop shop for all Indian groceries that one can think of. It even stocks item that one may find difficult to get in India. But surprise, it's pricey!! Almost to the extent of a rip-off!! An example - you can get a large Nescafé instant coffee from the likes of a Walmart for about $5, but in Patel you will get a small Nescafé instant coffee for about $6 (or may be more)!! My recommendation, only buy the hard core Indian stuff that you cannot get in other grocery stores.. Staff - The support staff (who help in stocking) do not speak or understand English. So it becomes bit of a challenge to ask for help, if you can't locate an item. The cash register staff is okay.

Yelp
Nice and friendly store associates. Antanio was helpful and great with service. Fresh vegetables and great price.

Yelp
Beautiful fresh produce, wonderfully made Indian sweets and desserts in the refrigerated sections, (I recommend the gulab jamun made locally) and the largest selection of Indian spices I've ever seen in one place. Very nice and pretty broad selection of Brit foods, spices and biscuits as well. I have to pick up a roll of ginger nut biscuits every time I go there! The whole place smells deliciously of garam masala, which is a bonus for me. Pretty nice selection of Indian cookware and serving implements, reasonably priced. Very friendly, very helpful staff as well. Don't miss the samples at the front door if they're offered- they're usually pretty darn tasty.

Yelp
I come to shop here pretty often. Its where I buy my cheap tea. I like it the English way (just ask madame) and that is hot and strong with milk and sugar. The finer teas don't work well that way! And then once I am in there I find myself buying all manner of interesting things. A good variety of spices, of course - and inexpensive too. When I am in need of fenugreek (methi) this is where I come. So I probably get jhere once per month or so. It's clean, friendly, well stocked, well lit and inexpensive. My kind of place.

Yelp
I have been to this Indian Store several times. Good selection for vegetables, & decent selection overall. It gets too crowded on the weekends though.

Seema P.

Yelp
The Good: Produce is excellent here. Prices are very competitive and attractive as well. The Bad: Avoid this place at all costs on weekends if you can help it. Turns into a huge Indian Zoo with shopping carts and children run a-muck. I'm a Patel, so I have to be very honest here. Patel Brothers is my go-to spot for my Indian grocery needs bc I get the biggest bang for my buck here. But the busy times really annoy me. It's like walking into Walmart and hating yourself the entire time for choosing this day and time to come here. I'm people avoidant at times I suppose; I like to be in and out and have my errands done without extra drama in my life, you know? There have also been plenty of times that I walk in here with my husband and he turns into a lot of ladies' eye candy. The guy is gawked at like crazy. I know "look but don't touch" goes a long way but I don't want your eyes on my man period. Indian people know black magic- what if someone curses him to fall out of love with me?!? lol. jk! but really... you never know!
google avatar

Divya T.

Yelp
It's really a good place to get all Indian grocery's and has fresh stock. I feel it is little expensive compared to India bazar.
google avatar

Ashley L.

Yelp
Usually I stick to the Chinese/Korean markets (ie. 99cent Ranch, H-mart' Jusgo) for cheaper and ethnic food. However, after working out at the Carpenter Rec Center, my mom and I decided to see if they had any fruit on sale. Lo and behold, the Asian guava was 50% the normal price and good quality too. Most of the customers are Indo-Pakistan. It is much busier on the weekends and there are also samples as well.

Yelp
I am a newbie to Indian cooking and all Indian grocery stores overwhelm me. However, this has family store appeal with excellent service. One of the managers helped me get everything I needed and even gave me two simple recipes to try. The spice ISLE...not section is awesome. Anything and everything seems to be available. I was a bit disappointment with the produce section but I'm used to shopping American grocery stores. I also prefer organic so I wouldn't really buy my produce here regularly anyway. Prices seem reasonable and I recommend giving the store a try if you are in the area and are in need of Indian groceries.

Chandan K.

Yelp
If you want something fresh and not be cheated, then this is not the place you want to go. Let me give you few examples: 1) In one Aisle, we saw Reoris ( sugar coated items usually eaten around Lohri festival) and we literally saw about hundreds of worms inside it eating the sugar. 2) We have so many times found items like Chawanprash way past the expiration date and still on aisles. 3) Recently, I bought Amul Butter and when we opened it at home, it had fungus. 4) We also recently bought some Punjabi Tindas and when we cut them at home, all of them had fungus. I was refused a refund saying they cannot refund on vegetables. This place is horrible place and I will never ever go to this store. I will use other Indian stores who are very good on customer satisfaction.

Yelp
Great place to get South Asian or Indian groceries. Also a great spot for good quick hot food like samosa and roti.
google avatar

Yelp
I wish I lived in Dallas. This is the best grocery store for produce and spices. Great quality and super super cheap. You may not find every kind of produce as it's an Indian grocery store but great to grab some things you never tried and go home and whip up some tasty and spicy new dishes!! :) Don't go here if you are looking for an "American" supermarket.
google avatar

Tanyaa C.

Yelp
Awesome variety of products and at great price. I love to shop here as I am aware that I am getting the best product at the best price. Service and ambience is good too.

Naseer M.

Yelp
Beware of expired frozen products. I have been to this store multiple times and on every visit I have found atleast one product that was either expired or gone bad.. Please see the dates before you purchase!!

Yelp
This was my first time shopping at an Indian grocery store, and it was such a pleasant experience! I had a shopping list of spices and ingredients I had never purchased before at mainstream grocery stores, and I had no idea what they should look like. But the layout of Patel Brothers was very easy to navigate, and has an amazing and comprehensive spice aisle, filled with the most exotic spices, in many different sizes, for about 1/5 of the price as you would pay at Whole Foods. Almost all of the packages had the English translation, which made it easy for me to spot the ingredients I needed. But they are cutting corners with putting prices on things, especially in the produce section, where a lot of items didn't have a price card. Unlike the impression that other reviewers had, I thought some of the produce looked dingy and wilted. They had a very large selection of prepackaged dinners, where you just add protein to the mystery bag of sauce/spice. I can't wait to come back and try those. Speaking of protein, they lack a meat department, so don't count on getting your chicken here.

Yelp
Great selection & good prices! Beats Whole Foods and Central Market hands down. Amazing spice isle.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic store!!! Beautiful and homegrown tasting produce, including rare and exotic. This store offers a bit of everything including fresh pickle and many English items. A favourite store!

Yelp
No option giving zero star but one. This store employee and manager Ankit and Yogesh need to learn how to take care of complaints and customers needs. The way they treated my family and other friends is not acceptable they have to learn american customer service. Recently on August 4th I purchased stainless steel dishes, bowls, and other items and checked out by the time I reached to home checked all items and receipt some items are less priced tagged then what they changed me higher. They are ripping off customers. We visit this store once a month due to far away from us 125 miles by the time going back to return item they were not accepting due to their 7 day return policy even though it was their mistakes this is ridiculous ripping off consumer. This is not happened once with us and other friends. I decided not to ever visit this store again in future and I am taking this complain to higher level to Texas Consumers Complain Department. See what happen.

M K.

Yelp
Very poor customer service. We visited MacArthur market place, the employees at the billing counter are very distracted from the work by talking among them-self and they are giving an impression that they are commenting about customers in their native language laughing. They are dis-respectable to words customers when asked a question. They are advising the customer go and get replacement bottle from the Isle when they almost broke a pickle bottle while billing and putting it in the carry bag.

Yelp
Patel brothers brings the Indian Subcontinent to Irving! So many varieties of products and there are things that I havent got at my place in India but I got them here! Except for the produce section everything is clean and organised! You can easily find what you want!

Yelp
I like this store. .they have so many varieties of vegetables and fruits and prices are also good..and especially they are very fresh.the store is also very clean...

Yelp
Hi all, I'm not against Patel brothers. But I moved from Chicago and I'm a housewife. I went to the India Bazaar on 535 W. They changed the name from Namaste India. But it is a new store and prices are the best. Patel brothers don't have a wooden rolling Pin, (I lost mine which I bought from India in moving). Moreover the Dry Fruits Cashew, Almonds, Pistachios are Cheap here than Patel Brothers. Only Onions are cheap in Patel brothers when compared to India Bazaar. Allegro Sun Flower cooking Oil - 3 Liters is $8.99 in India Bazaar where as it is $11.99 in Patel Brothers. Its just the tip of iceburg. Definitely all the produce is cheap than Patel brothers and 20% cost of Qhole Foods Sprouts or Farmers Market. All the items are fresh and not stale. Another thing is they have a shopping card where You get $20 of for every $500 You spend. Also, they have the qide variety of decent Indian Cooking Utensils. Bad this in my case was I did spend almost $300 at Patel brothers and then I found out India Bazaar. Namaste India or India Bazar or India Super Market are the same. Only Gujarathi's like Patel brothers because of their own food. But other than that there is not much, great about Patel Brothers. I came to know about this after I did all of my first. Major shopping for my new home after we moved to Dallas. But from next time I will prefer India Bazaar rather than Patel brothers. Thank You.

Yelp
This is my go-to place for my essential spices! The produce is cheap and they always have an abundance of things to pick from. My Favorite things to buy here are eggplant since they have the most diverse selection from Thai to Italian. I also buy my dried fruit, nuts, hummus ingredients, and all the dal anyone could ask for!

Fatima M.

Yelp
The manager of this store is rude, there is no professionalism at all. Unable to provide proper customer service, and at that, they have poor quality in their fruits and vegetables. Never again going there.

Safir S.

Yelp
The place is okay has a variety of grocery and place and not cramped. One thing that brings down my rating big time is regarding the snacks section. I wish that customers would stop grabbing samplers from the snacks section with their bare hands.

Nusrat B.

Yelp
One of the best indian grocery store with excellent quality of produce and grocery. I suggest it is the perfect place to do your grocery shopping!!

Aleena K.

Yelp
Bad customer service at checkout. They better fix their employees hospitality, otherwise they can loose a lot of customers.

Ajay D.

Yelp
I thought of sharing my BAD experience at Patel Brothers, West Roshelle Road at Irving, TX. I have been shopping there for past two years. I felt that is is a good store with good customer service.. Well all that 2 years of experience just changed in one day... Here is what happened... Couple of weeks ago we bought grocery worth $95 from Patel brothers, when we reached home we realized that one of the item is missing from the list. Then I checked the receipt the charge for that item was there. I told my wife don't worry it is small stuff, If you like to call the store and let them know what happened and they will work something out. So she called the store and they said OK come down and we will work it out. Following Sunday when we went. The young guy claimed to be "the owner" of the store took the receipt and went inside the office for good 20-30 minutes. When he came back, he asked me to come to his office. When I went to the office, He was showing me the video of that days shopping and started telling that look at this, here is the item in the cashiers counter I felt so bad as if I was a thief and trying to rob him. I told him That's what I was trying to tell you that the item was scanned but somehow not got in the cart. He was not listening me and started saying that if you go to walmart that's what they will do. They will not give you the item if the video shows that it was scanned and put in the bag. I still feel bad that I went there to even discuss this. I told him that's fine and determined I will never go there again.

Zahid D.

Yelp
I usually buy groceries from there but unfortunately I discovered something unusual and now I try not to go there!
