The 19 Best Bakeries In Miami

"Pates Plus is a Haitian takeout bakery in North Miami that makes some very good pates filled with chicken, beef, or herring. The pates are really satisfying and incredibly flaky (so beware of crumbs if you’re eating one on your way to work). But the other can’t-miss specialty here is langue de boeuf—a thin, crunchy pastry covered in enough sugar to piss off an uptight dentist. Definitely leave with a big rectangle of that. It’s crunchy outside, airy inside, and just sweet enough. " - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino

Customer service was great. Flavors are there. Good buttery flavor crust but there is no meat in the patties. Also website states $12 for a dozen patties but they were $18. There is a service charge to use a debit card FYI

Google
Best Pate place in Miami!!! Always fresh, and the family is really nice.

Google
The business has lots of history and has been on business about 45 years. The owner is a sweetheart & the pages are so flaky. You don't find pages like these just anywhere! Go to them you won't regret it!! The only place I'll be getting my pates moving forward!

Google
The Haitian Patties are absolutely delicious! These have to be the best patties I’ve had in Miami! I would highly suggest this place if you’ve never tried a Haitian patty before. They are baked fresh and already ready to go, I order 2 dozen every other day. The filling is generous and very flavorful. All around 5/5

Google
I come here almost every weekend and their pates are amazing! They are not greasy and are so amazingly flaky and delicious! Had a little mix up the other day but the kind little girl serving me helped with no issues! 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to taste a Haitian cuisine!

Yelp
Real fresh, delicious and I want more.... The flakiness, the flavor of the ingredients inside. Unexplainable,it's like the bakery is in my mouth. I can't continue cause my mouth is salvating so much. I will be there this weekend, coming from fruitland Park FL.

Yelp
Some of the best Haitian patties you'll find in the city! Really enjoyed the chicken and the beef? 10/10! The staff were really nice and helpful too. Gotta make sure we support local spots like this that really feel like home.

Yelp
Love Pate Plus! Service is always amazing!! It's the only pate place my aunt likes so when I go visit her, I go grab these first.

Yelp
While the parties are undeniably tasty, with light, flaky dough and excellent customer service, " PatesPlus " must do better when it comes to the filling--especially in the chicken and codfish patties. The lack of sufficient meat or fish makes them feel empty and unsatisfying. A patty that skimps on its main ingredient misses the mark, no matter how good the dough is.

Yelp
I can see why this is one of the highest rated Haitian bakeries in Miami. The staff is welcoming and the patties are decent. Their customer service is top tier and the space is bright and spacious. I ordered a dozen patties (currently $18); chicken, beef and fish. Their patties are good but I can't say they're the best. Like many Haitian patties nowadays, there's not much filling. The crust is a hit. The beef patty is the best one out of the 3 that they offer. The chicken was okay but the flavor gets lost and the fish patty was good (I'm just not a fish fan). I tried to come back for New Years/ Haitian Independence Day and they were sold out of patties before 11am!

Yelp
If you want the best Haitian Pattie's in Miami then you go to Pates Plus. I've been going here for as long as I could remember and it being close by my house makes it that much sweeter. They have different kinds of flavors my favorite being the chicken and mori [a type of fish]. They're very affordable and of course delicious. They also have the option to get frozen ones to save for later. I didn't take a picture of my Pattie's but I kinda devoured them. If you are in the Miami area definitely check them out and give them a try.

Yelp
Great patties! Purchased some Monday afternoon for my mom who now lives in Port St Lucie.

Yelp
Came down to Miami for a funeral from Orlando, when down here I take advantage and stop at places I would like you to visit. I looked up Pate Plus and it said it would close at 5pm I just left it's 4:30 and they're already closed. Very irritating! Please update hours online to reflect actual closing. Drove here for nothing

Yelp
Never disappoints. Excellent patties as usual. I come for 1-2 and always leave with a dozen.

Yelp
Slow service. Parking hard to get out of. And they do not take credit cards . The pates are the best and I buy them frozen.

Miryam J.

Yelp
The Pates are DELICIOUS. Went in for 1 and ended up buying a dozen and sharing with family!
