"With locations in Gulfport, Biloxi, and Hattiesburg, Patio 44 is a solid choice for brunch, lunch, and dinner, thanks to a copious menu with strong seafood-centric sensibilities. Indulge in the blue crab fondue and the outstanding redfish on the half shell with crawfish cream sauce. There are lunch specials on weekdays (goat cheese chicken salad, pimento cheese sandwich) and the pot roast dip with provolone is a hearty starter to share." - Beth D'Addono

I stopped by with my man and child. The did was good and priced well. It was a warm night, so almost everyone ate outside. I wouldn't recommend the deviled eggs because they were way too watery. If you get the fried shrimp, it's enough food for 2 people. It's a huge plate. I had a caesar salad with blackened shrimp. It was delicious. I also ordered a side of sweet potatoes with brown sugar and butter which I recommend. I didn't know it came with pecans, but that made it even better. I don't remember my waiter's name, but he was great. The place was packed, so it did take a while for our food to come out.

Patio 44 delivers an incredible dining experience! The food was absolutely amazing—every bite of the crab claws, red beans and rice, and cornbread was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. On top of the delicious meal, the ambiance was truly relaxing, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great food. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The service was great, and our waiter was attentive. She helped to provide a mocktail that was delicious. The pasta was good amount of meat provided was great. The steak however was good but it wasn't the best, he thought it was mediocre. The atmosphere I was expecting more on the inside, at one point you at a bunch of waitresses and guys just standing around in the middle of people like guest were not eating. The floor was really sticky for some reason my slippers were sticking to it.

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Jessica T., and she was exceptional! Her warm smile and engaging demeanor made us feel right at home. Jessica’s politeness was remarkable; she greeted us with enthusiasm and attentiveness, making us feel valued. She balanced professionalism with a personal touch, remembering details about our orders and checking in at the right moments. Thank you, Jessica, for making our outing memorable! Your outstanding service is a true asset, and we can’t wait to return and enjoy your delightful company again. Highly recommend asking for Jessica!

Google
We give Patio 44 in Buloxi a 4 out of 5. The food was delicious. We had the fried green tomatos, red snapper with cheese grits and the chicken with waffles. They give bread for the table which is a mini loaf and is soooo good with the butter. All was very good food. We sat outside as it was such a nice day to dine alfresco on their patio. Would definitely recommend and will be back when in the area. My only critique is that the inside of the restaurant smelled like they mopped the floors with a sour dirty mop.

Google
Went here for my husband’s birthday dinner and had a good experience. Definitely a more expensive restaurant in the area, as it’s close to the beach. I ordered the butchers cut steak and got the side of the garlic sautéed spinach and my husband ordered the New York strip and red mashed potatoes. Both sides offered huge portions! We also both ordered the small side of a Caesar salad to eat prior to our main meals, which we really enjoyed! Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. They offer patio seating, as well a large indoor area for seating. They take cash or card. Good experience, just quite expensive.

From the moment we were seated, our server, Jess T, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She took the time to explain the dishes and made great recommendations. The food was amazing Red Beans and Rice, Blacken Red Fish, fried green tomatoes are a hit. As the first place we ate in Biloxi Jess T made our dining experience truly special.

We ate dinner here on 5/22/25. If you haven't tried it you should go immediately! My husband had chicken n waffles. My daughter got one of the pasta dishes and loved it. Recommended by the server. I had the crawfish etouffee added a side of red beans and rice. The highlight was the deviled eggs the chef added to the menu himself. We all agreed they are the best deviled eggs we have ever had. They was devoured before I could snap a picture of them. We ordered a second batch but asked for them in diffrent way(the chef sounds awesome and should totally keep "playing" with his foods! Leah our super friendly and amazing at helping us decide what to eat...bc everything on the menu sounded good to us all....and whomever the Chef was are both AMAZING at their jobs!

Yelp
My husband and I came at lunch time on a Saturday. The service was great and very fast. Even better was the pot roast! It is divine. My husband had jambalaya pasta and he loved it, however he loved my dish even more. Come eat here if you are in Biloxi! You won't regret it.

Yelp
Great food and service! Tons of bourbon choices also! Relaxed atmosphere. This is one of our go to places.

David K.

Yelp
Alayna and co were truly wonderful tonight :) I highly recommend the pea saute! It's sweet, savory, fresh, and authentically southern. The Jambalaya was also a fresh take on a great classic dish. Highly recommend this spot! David Kanefsky Insurance agency and brokerage -Classic/Collector/Exotic autos and so much more 720-625-0221

Yelp
I had heard good things about Patio 44, but my experience was pretty mediocre. The restaurant is supposed to be a nice spot, but it felt far from impressive. The place was relatively clean but had a dead and empty atmosphere, which made the experience feel a bit dull. The server was fine.. the rest of the staff didn't seem great when it came to customer service. Despite the upscale reputation, the staff's lack of enthusiasm stood out in a bad way. As for the food, it was fine, nothing memorable or worth the hype. I was expecting something elevated, but it just felt average. Overall, it didn't live up to its reputation. If they improve the service and energy, it could be a great spot, but for now, it's not somewhere I'd rush back to.

Yelp
update: came back again for lunch and the service and ambiance were the same, all good. food came out quickly and was soo much better. the grits are on the thicker end but i enjoyed it nonetheless. i would say, the cajun fish was not as "cajun" or spicy as i would have preferred, but overall it was a good dish and the portion was reasonable for the lunch price. service and ambiance were good, the food was ok. i personally did not like the fried chicken with the hot honey pecan sauce- it was wayyy too sweet and overpowering. i am a fan of sweet/salty sweet/spicy combinations but this dish was not it for me. i ended up sending it back and getting it remade without the honey sauce and it was so much better. i'm open to giving them another shot because the pictures here on yelp do look delicious.

Yelp
Service was friendly and prompt. We sat outside and it was very pleasant with the nice gulf breeze. The Crawfish Étouffée was phenomenal and I loved it. Should have ordered a bowl and not just a cup as it was very tasty, had just a bit of heat, and was perfect and very delicious. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo but it also looked good. I'd eat that again! I chose the lunch option of a pimento cheese sandwich. We make it at home so I figured it would be even better here. Sadly, it was not. I cut the sandwich in half when I saw how much was piled on the bread as I was not going to be able to eat all this. My first bite (second photo) included a huge chunk of cream cheese that was just that: pure cream cheese. I cut some from the other end and it tasted no better. At that point I could not eat another bite and I was very disappointed that this was not at all what I expected and was way too rich - mostly cream cheese that was not blended with the other cheese and no hint or taste of pimento, which I love. It was just too much on the bread and with so much unblended cream cheese, it was awful. I knew I would have major tummy issues if I continued eating this. The French fries were very good so I ate half of those. I'm sorry I didn't choose something else but I honestly wanted something small (this was not) and light for lunch. I should have stopped after the Crawfish Étouffée. Our kind waitress did offer to bring me something else when I let her know the sandwich was inedible for me, but there was nothing else I could eat as my tummy and guts were already roiling. I needed to leave as quickly as possible. I barely made it back to the hotel in time before the sandwich reappeared-undigested. I'll be happy to go back for more soup or something else, but I literally could not eat the pimento cheese sandwich. It was not good at all. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Rapid service. Foodies as ordered. Menu description does not begin to adequately prepare you for the great food.

Javis J.

Yelp
This location is always accommodating on this particular day we had a party 20 for a going away luncheon. The service was rock solid as ever the server took all orders masterfully and I say this because everybody at the table deviated from the item with some type of special request. I had my usual Salmon and it had the right amount of sear and the temperature was on point, all of our food came out at the same time in a wave. Another great time at Patio 44 I would write more, but once the wine started flowing everything got blurry.

J S.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch with my son. We enjoyed the food and outdoor seating. Nothing was particularly great but all was very good. Would recommend

Yelp
While on an overnight trip in Biloxi, the wife and I ate dinner here. It was a really nice place and a perfect spot for a date night. The staff were very friendly and professional. Our appetizer and food were delicious and didn't take long at all. Would definitely visit this spot again next time in Biloxi!

Janet S.

Yelp
Great food and so so service! Hoping our waitress was new and working out the kinks! Overall it was good

Jordyn C.

Yelp
Our waitress was great. The food was just ok. Wouldn't seek it out but would eat here again if needed

Bles D.

Yelp
This place was chosen by one of our classmates on our last day of class. It wasn't busy when we went which is a plus because we were a party of 9. The service was good. Our waitress made sure all of us got the right drink and food orders. I ended up getting a margarita and shrimp po boy sandwich with fries. Everything was really good or I was just super hungry. The texture of the bread was just right. Not too tough or soft. The margarita was stronger than I expected so one drink was good enough for me. The place is clean and has an open concept layout.

Yelp
Our visit to Patio 44 Biloxi was almost a disaster but manager Georgia salvaged it. Her willingness to make sure that a terrible server did not spoil our New Years Eve experience by going above and beyond. The food was delicious!! The red fish, shrimp & grits and gumbo were all seasoned perfectly. Warning, the shrimp & gits is spicy. The first steak was not seasoned well but taken back for another try. The second one was perfect. We will always remember Patio 44 for the response of the terrible server. When asked what the vegetable of the day was she said cucumbers and that yellow stuff (zucchini & squash). Needless to say, the wait stuff should know the menu. The room that we were seated in was large & sparsely furnished giving it a cold feeling.

Yelp
This is a wonderful restaurant if you are in the downtown Biloxi area! They offer other great locations in Gulfport and new location in Hattiesburg also. Please refer to the website for more information. We stopped in for a bit since we were in the area. Definitely recommend getting a reservation for large parties and so they can anticipate your arrival. (Staff). We lucked out. Since we had a large party with us. It was raining that day so it benefited us. Michael was our server! If get this gentleman. You are sure to be in wonderful hands. We got nothing but the best. A world class experience. The food was excellent too! The seating is a bit of a mix bag. It is no couch. We sat in the middle row. We had table and chairs. The chairs were comfortable and padded bottom. The chairs seem to have more padding than the bench seats. However, both have a hardwood backing. The outside tables have combination of chairs and bench seating. Don't recommend sitting for multiple hours tho. They offer high chairs for the little children if they are with you. We skip out on the appetizer and went straight for the lunch offerings. However, they brought out some delicious and fresh baked rolls and with a side of butter. A few of the dishes we ordered were the chicken gumbo and Cesar salad (choice of soup and salad). The gumbo is excellent with a bit of a kick (spicy). Shrimp poboy with fries. Of course, wash it down with sweat tea. Definitely recommend it if you are in the area. Hard to describe the atmosphere of the restaurant since the rain discouraged many of the customers at the time. I will tell you tho. It is always packed when I drive by their locations. They offer a military discount and have free Wi-Fi. No mask required.

Yelp
I did enjoy my visit to Patio 44. The location was very convenient and there was ample parking. They had a good variety of items on the menu. Our group ranged from age 16 to 80 and there was something that pleased everyone no one left hungry and everyone was quite happy and satisfied. Fresh ingredients and prepared with love, I cannot say anything bad about any of the food that I ate that evening. No one in my party had anything negative to say either. The staff was attentive and treat us like family. I would gladly go back to the next time that I am in the Biloxi area.

Dave N.

Yelp
I had the gumbo and Sweet hot fried chicken. Exceptional! Fantastic portion sizes and great flavor. 10/10. Great service by very friendly staff

Kathy B.

Yelp
Decor was very nice. Serious but comfortable. Service was impeccable. Tristan took great care of us. The food was very good and very filling. Lots of gravy and potatoes with the pot roast. Crab cakes and asparagus were substantial. Glad I ordered the Hollandaise on the side. The onion rings were flaky and hot.

Adam S.

Yelp
I have been at the Biloxi location and they never disappoint! Yes, they are known for a casual experience and I have been there for a few years. The ambiance is amazing, and the drink menu is the best selection on the coast! The etoufee I had was very delicious as well as the pecan chicken salad! I say that the service is very nice and the attentive service can't go wrong with the food and ambiance. This place is a great location for those who like a nice candlelit meal!

Huyen N.

Yelp
The restaurant had plenty of empty tables when we arrived but it took at least fifteen minutes before my group were sat, compared to other parties that arrived after us. The restaurant itself was nice, especially the bar and patio seating. Food was subpar, some too salty. Service was slow, and empty glasses present for duration of meal. When asked for refills, there was an excuse, on top of each glass being partially refilled. Small togo boxes were given when meals required larger boxes. Caused some to not be able to completely pack their food togo. We were pretty much over the meal service for any other requests. It wasn't an enjoyable meal for us but surrounding tables seemed to have received better service. There is plenty of parking and located across the street from Hard Rock Casino.

RuthAnn J.

Yelp
We chose Patio 44 since it was adjacent to the parking lot of the hotel we were staying in. We called ahead to see if there was a wait and was told no, but when we arrived was asked if we had reservations. One of the hostesses made us feel like not having reservations was a problem since it was a party of 6, two of us being kids. The dining room next to the bar was almost empty when we arrived so not sure having reservations was necessary. There were several different dining area options; a more traditional dining room, bar area and outside patio. We chose to sit inside. Myles was our server and was very pleasant, knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. The manager came by to make sure all our meals came out fine. All the adults at the table ordered steaks. The flavor of the steaks were very good and cooked as requested. They could have been a little more tender but the size and flavor made up for that. The sides were all tasty; onion rings, loaded mashed potatoes and salads. One steak was the special of the evening with soft shell crab and crawfish sauce, the other was dressed with grilled shrimp and the other was just seasoned with no toppings. I'm glad we did not drive to go anywhere else as all the food was delicious. It would have just been nicer to be greeted in a more friendly manner.

JD H.

Yelp
Had high hopes for this place but were quickly disappointed. The 3 stars come from my friends having decent food. Our server was great. Nothing wrong there. But when you are a restaurant on the coast during a busy season, you should be stocked up on food. Two simple appetizers - out of them. Fish of the day - they had none. No fish. You are literally by the ocean. Dessert - listed two. Only had one. My entree was lukewarm at best. We came in to eat early so it wasn't like they had a mad rush and people got everything before us. Plus, we were there early in the week.

Yolanda W.

Yelp
Yesterday we enjoyed dinner here on the patio in cool evening breeze! It is a beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant. Don't pass on the bread because the dinner rolls melt in your mouth. Crawfish Étouffée is the best I've had in a really long time. It was packed with flavor and a little spice (mind you I'm a spice whimp). When our entrees arrived at the table there was silence because we were grubbing. LOL If you're looking for a nice place in Biloxi for two or a large group this is your spot! Amazing drinks, apps, entrees, desserts and service!

Nancy D.

Yelp
I went for Mothers Day brunch. Definitely Make reservations. Excellent food, lots of choices!

Sharon P.

Yelp
I had the blackened catfish and roasted Brussels sprouts. I ain't gonna lie, it took everything I had not to lick the plate when I finished. Hands down the best meal I had in Biloxi. The restaurant is large with a full stocked bar and wine closet. Our service was spot on. You can eat alfresco and sit around the giant fountain that is gorgeous. My man had the fried hot pecan crusted chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and I wanted to lick his plate clean as well. Go!

Shea G.

Yelp
This place was perfect! First time eating there and everything was wonderful! The service was out of this world. The atmosphere was super! The bar was like nothing I've seen. I wish I had taken a picture. The food- it was fresh and seasoned and cooked to perfection! Please try this place if you are ever in Biloxi!

Amy F.

Yelp
Aforable place just off the main road. Great patio atmosphere (indoor was nice as well). Friendly and attentive server who helped with final food choices. My husband got the red beans & rice and it was fantastic! If we lived nearby we would definitely frequent this place!

Connie H.

Yelp
When I say I will drive to Biloxi to eat here because they do not miss. The fish, pork chops, red beans and the appetizer are fantastic for the price. It's a casual dining fully stocked bar and delicious food wither you appetite is big or small there something for everyone. You won't be disappointed. I have gone to large parties and dinner for a couples getaway. It's still consistently hot, quick and delicious

Znzworked4me ..

Yelp
The Gouda grits are insanely good. I didn't even need the fish but this place is awesome. Portion size is way more than most can eat. 5 stars.

Sharon Y.

Yelp
Pea saute' is one of the best things you will ever eat. So, so good! Very Southern, and very comforting. Like a warm delicious hug.

Mike P.

Yelp
Two colleagues and I had a blast at the bar where we ordered from the full menu. Good cocktails, beer and wine and Southern cuisine. Everything was delicious and not overpriced. I ordered crab cakes with a side of their house grits with Gouda, the others ordered fried green tomatoes & crawfish Étouffée, pimento fritters, blackened catfish over grits with bread pudding for dessert. It amazed me that such a nice restaurant was not busy. We closed the place at 10pm. Highly recommended!

Renee R.

Yelp
Nothing left.-delicious!!!! Fried green tomatoes, crab fondue, redfish on halfshell, bramble berry smash, wedge salad were fabulous. Our server was happy and attentive, we were sat without a wait and the atmosphere is good.

Jeanne M.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food amazing atmosphere drinks fantastic ,it was so good we went back two days in a row while we were visiting Bilox! Service was excellent!!

Matt M.

Yelp
Food was terrible, Brussels sprouts were water logged, chicken was watery, red beans and rice were watery, fried shrimp had no seasoning on it, mashed potatoes were barely cooked and had crunchy raw garlic in it, and the Gouda grits tasted like it had fake smoke flavoring in it, it's not smoke from the cheese. Disappointing, no reason to come back. Waitress was polite, not her fault the food stank.

David K.

Yelp
Great food and drinks. Possibly the hottest piece of fish I have ever been served. Don't know how they managed to cook it with great moisture and an internal temp that would scald the tongue 20 minutes after it was plated and served. Definitely recommend.

Adonis B.

Yelp
I was thoroughly impressed with the establishment. My date and I went for Sunday morning brunch approximately 10 minutes after they opened. It was noticeable clean and well put together outside, even more so as you walk in. There's quite the wine selection that greets you, encased in a glass wine cellar, followed by the staff. We were sat and greeted by our waiter Chase who couldn't have been more attentive and hospitable. Who I was with doesn't drink lactose and he offered to look for a dairy alternative. And ensure her steak was cooked with olive oil as opposed to butter (which it was already but the reassurance is what I'm addressing here). The food was great, absolutely no complaints. And the music was easy listening at a volume conducive to conversations. Strongly recommend checking the the place out!

Peggy J.

Yelp
Have had mixed experiences. Once the Sweet Chicken was out of this world, the next it was dry and seemed old. Service was always good and it's very comfortable seating.

Lady C N.

Yelp
Elegant atmosphere with delicious food. Great service with very attentive staff. Crab cakes are a 10. Patio seating is nice too.

Staci J.

Yelp
Had an early dinner at the restaurant while visiting Biloxi. The drink I ordered was nice ... margarita. For my meal, I had the fish and grits. The fish was breaded and nicely cooked. The grits were great. The bread that was served seemed old and dry. My friend ordered the red beans and rice. There wasn't much andouille sausage in the bowl and had to ask for extra rice. Overall, I enjoyed my choices and will go again if I'm ever in the area again.

Pamela F.

Yelp
Excellent food. Great variety on their menu. The service is Top Notch. Our waitress Jessica was the best and so very pleasant. If in Biloxi drop by here and you won't be disappointed. The ambience was wonderful.

Marium K.

Yelp
Amazing food and service Ambience is great One of the finest of Biloxi! My recommendation is BBQ glazed salmon!

Douglass M.

Yelp
The Hostess Shunta is terrible and should never answer the phone or seat people she has zero patience. But besides that we decided to try this place and let me say the food is fabulous. And our waiter was the best in town I think his name is Mike B. Just wonderful. Would recommend despite Shunta the hostess.

Will M.

Yelp
Blackened catfish and grits was a great selection. Servers were great. Will be back again

Carlo D.

Yelp
To start off, this is the kind of place you'd take your significant other for a "nice" lunch or dinner. The servers and bar keeps are formally dressed, so it goes to show what kind of prices are to be expected. It's not SUPER fine dining, but the ambiance definitely can be a place to go for special occasions. Needless to say I was underdressed, but I digress. I had the crab claws as an app which was good and soft enough to bite into; I don't know why I was expecting them to be unshelled. For the main, I had the Jambalaya pasta which was just delicious. It was spicy, but not in the way that it burns your mouth. Very nice creamy flavor with the sausage, ham and sausage cooked perfectly. It wouldn't be a bad idea to ask them to add on some shrimp or crawfish, but I wanted to taste the original dish as it was meant to taste. The bar tender was friendly and helpful recommending the local beers, so nothing but good things when it comes to this place. Plenty of open space, clean, friendly and great food.

Karlin B.

Yelp
10 stars cuz they are top of the line. Alex is the best server ever. Food was delicious they give you XXL shrimp and 4lbs of delicious fries. Red beans and rice was great best around. With crawfish etouffe. Will be coming when ever i come back. Cornbread was good.

Cindy P.

Yelp
This was my second time at Patio 44, 2 years later. The service and the food was exquisite!! My dinner portion was huge and definitely was enough as a second meal. It was so so delicious. The bread was also very good, super soft and warm. I can't remember our server's name but he was amazing and attentive!

Jerry F.

Yelp
Have the chicken or the pot roast. Best comfort food in town. You can thank me later.

Michelle C.

Yelp
The drinks are always on point! Visiting 3x in the past week and the food is inconsistent. Tonight my broccoli was overly salted and the grits were chewy.

Laura H.

Yelp
I came here for a birthday party The fire on the back patio is nice but not enough warmth with the breeze blowing. Waitress was really nice and definitely took care of our party. If you have over 8 ppl they automatically add on the tip. If you want to leave an additional tip you can do that as well. The fried green tomatoes was a nice appetizer and you got a lot of slices and it's better with the sauce. I think that night's bartender had issues making mojitos because it tasted like a sweet tart. But we were able to order a different drink. From what I was told the drinks were kinda weak. I had wine and even though it was in a big glass I would have preferred to have at least a 1/2 glass for the price of a $10 moscato. I had the special mahi mahi-mahi with crab on top and asparagus underneath. It was delicious Everyone else's food looked really good.
