Afro-French Flair: Meet One-Star Chef Mory Sacko

"A local bakery close to our restaurant, it supplies bread to both of my restaurants; it sells the famous pretzels I love and a fine selection of Alsace specialties like Linzer torte and kouglof." - The MICHELIN Guide

We stayed at a hotel nearby and found this location via maps. It did not disappoint. I knew it would be a good time with a line of locals out the door. The line moved quickly. The pastries were very affordable. We got three and it was 8 euros. All were fresh, flavorful and flaky!

This boulangerie was right around the corner from our hotel and, looking back, I don't think we visited enough, ha. The food was always delicious and the staff was very helpful, especially with my very terrible French. Delicious!

Everything is delicious, baguettes are crunchy and perfect, Mille-feuille is fantastic, staff is nice and welcoming. Besides that you know the place is good because of the lines of local people but they are quite fast. Their only issue is not having a store where I live in Brazil. Get a good butter to go with the breads and enjoy! Merci a toys!

This boulangerie is fantastic! We tried the pain au chocolat, croissants, and café au lait, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, doing their best to understand my French. The prices were very affordable, which was a pleasant surprise. There was a bit of a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly. Highly recommend for a tasty and authentic French experience!

I have been to La Petite Alsacienne at least twice daily since I arrived in Paris. Every bite of everything I've ordered has been "the best bite." The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, especially to those of us still learning how to order in French.

Came because I was in the neighborhood. Now seeing the reviews don’t understand how this is a trendy place. All the baguettes are over cooked (staff knows this), pain chocolat & croissants dry, pizza terrible. Didn’t try the eclairs because they were so old the icing was dry and cracked. Many at the register was very nice.

During our 2-night family stay in Paris, we visited La Petite Alsacienne every morning for breakfast and to pick up a few things for lunch while exploring the city. We tried a variety of delicious treats: croissants, pains au chocolat, baguette au thon, pretzels, éclairs au chocolat, mille-feuilles, sandwich au bœuf, gougères, financiers, and the pizza trois fromages. Everything was beyond amazing and clearly made with love. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We only wish we had stayed longer to try more! We’ll definitely visit again if we return to Paris.

Pistachio eclair was out of this world ! Never heard of/had one before and I could not have enjoyed it more! Staff was helpful and kind and able to navigate my non-French. I'll definitely go back to try one of the bretzel or baguette sandwiches as well. Quick service and quite reasonable priced. A real treat!
