Beautiful cafe with delicious choices of coffee, matcha teas and desserts, savory items. Definitely a great place to meet or mother and daughter time.

The froth was terrible. It was stiff and never mixed with the coffee. I expect better froth from a cafe/coffee shop. Coffee taste was bitter and not smooth. Mixed berry almond tart was good but very sweet and ice cold. Maybe it is supposed to be cold but flavours come out more at room temperature. I won’t be back. There are plenty of other good coffee shops in Evanston.

I heard that the desserts here are delicious, so I ordered almost all kinds of desserts, from eclairs to quiches and macarons. Personally, the most delicious was the quiche. I ate it while still admiring it. The macarons and eclairs were also good, but maybe because I was expecting too much, I felt they were average, and the quiche really exceeded my expectations. I want to come back next time and try other kinds. The atmosphere and interior are so pretty, so it's good to go with friends or go on a date.

Located in the heart of Evanston and NW campus, we found it by chance since we were just picking up some food around the corner, and we surely glad that we did. The interior decors do have some french essences, especially the furnitures. The drinks are on point and the tarts are exceptional in terms of the ingredients, presentation and taste. The taste is on the lighter side which is how they should be. You should taste the freshness of the treat, which is enlightened by then natural sweetness of thebingedients and not overly indulge in sugar. We haven't had the chance to try the croissants, which will be the deciding factor for the authenticity. Can't wait!

Very good but not great croissants. Not as buttery or layered as anticipated. Good coffee. Nice and pleasant service. Nice cozy atmosphere.
