**Elevate Your Taste Experience at Patisserie Lawrence V.: A Journey Through the Enchantment of Patisserie Delights!** My husband and I recently visited Montreal from Washington, DC. Due to the weather and protests, we found ourselves spending the weekend in our hotel room. We binge-watched "Halloween Bakeshop" and completely fell in love with competitor and native Montrealer Lawrence Vourtzoumis, along with his creations! It felt both necessary and serendipitous to visit Patisserie Lawrence V., Lawrence’s local patisserie. PLV, is amazing—it strikes the perfect balance between a cozy neighborhood café and a glamorous, Hollywood boutique. Not only were the treats visually stunning and delicious, but the staff was also incredible and exceptionally friendly. I didn’t catch the name of the lovely young woman with dark hair and glasses who worked the register, but she truly stood out. She took the time to share stories about the owner and his other location, which is 1.5 hours away, with my husband and two wonderful ladies we met while dining. These delightful women, both in their sixties, had been friends since childhood and were now traveling the world together. Our paths crossed at the patisserie, which beautifully reflects the welcoming, homey, and gregarious vibe of Patisserie Lawrence V. What a delightful and heartfelt establishment! Keep up the great work! ***Spoiler Alert:*** Lawrence Vourtzoumis was seasons 1 winner of "Halloween Bakeshop," and rightfully so!

Great location, a quieter area with plenty of street parking too (bonus gas station right there). All the treats are amazing, the best Almond Croissants in the city too, delicious sandwiches as well. To top it off, very friendly staff and they are great baristas too. Got some cortados and they tasted great. Will for sure be coming back when I'm in Montreal always.

Really tasty croissant sandwiches, and nice comfortable booth and table seating. However, the entremet and macaron left much to be desired. These two pastries both tasted like they’ve been refrigerated over night and had a slight fridge taste. The entremet also had a really gelatinous blanket over the top that looked like it used to be a mirror glaze but was left in the fridge too long. As a pastry place, this was fairly disappointing. Their actual croissants are good though! Well laminated and super buttery.

My boyfriend and I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Patisserie Lawrence V. and we were blown away. The coffees were top-notch and the focaccia sandwiches—absolutely divine! We also grabbed some pastries to take home and they did not disappoint. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Every staff member checked in on us to make sure everything was perfect, and it really was. The recent renovations are stunning; the place looks incredibly high-end and spotless. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. We can't wait to come back!

I bought a chocolate cake for my son’s birthday, but unfortunately the cake had a strange smell and didn’t seem fresh. We couldn’t serve it and had to throw it away, which was very disappointing on such a special day.

thank you lawrence V for being one of the only bakeries in all of montreal that was available on short notice to deliver a customized cake for my husband’s birthday! they did a great job and were very detail oriented. the cake was gorgeous.

Ordered a cake for my sisters baby shower as a present for her and it’s all everyone spoke about at the party! My favourite flavour is the lemon blueberry but we ordered the strawberry shortcake which was really good too! It’s light and airy (we’re not big fans of sweet American buttercream).

I've been ordering cakes from Patisserie Lawrence for several years, and I'm consistently impressed by the creativity and deliciousness of his creations. Whether it's a stunning doughnut tower or one of the many flavorful cake options, he never fails to deliver. I'm especially grateful for the times he's come through on short notice—thank you for always going above and beyond.

This is my go-to pâtisserie for delicious, beautiful cakes for all occasions or no occasion at all! The staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. It's clear they are proud of what they serve. I have tried most of their cakes, both classic and signature. I have never been disappointed and they are always ready by the date/time promised. They also have a number of classic cakes available in store for last minute dessert emergencies. The bakery is bright, cheerful and welcoming. You can stay for a coffee and sweet treat or get your goodies to take home. I am always on dessert duty for family gatherings and even impromptu get togethers because friends and family expect me to bring something from Pâtisserie Lawrence V.!

This place is soooo enticing. The displays are gorgeous, the selection is fantastic and they can even make custom cakes! We dropped by Lawrence V. this morning for a coffee and a chocolatine, but spent quite a bit of time oogling all the beautiful pasties and other confections in the shelves. The place is filled with light, with an elegant ceiling and each area dedicated to a particular category of pastry (cakes/macarons, cookies/donuts, tarts/sandwiches, etc.) The coffee was nice and the chocolatine very buttery. The dough was more tender than flaky, with two small sticks of chocolate inside. A joyful place to visit. If my wallet was willing I would gladly have picked one of each item!

I love how this place looks. It is 10/10 beautiful. Has a very modern paris pastry shop vibe. Ordered a chocolate cupcake and a chocolate macaroon. It was good but a bit stiff, I maybe should have waited until they were a closer to room temperature before eating. Everything is displayed in refrigerated cases. I have tried one of their fruit tarts at home and it was delicious!

J'ai acheté des viennoiseries et les pains aux raisins étaient immangeables... je suis retournée le mentionner. L'employé a reconnu avoir raté la cuisson des pains ce mat la mais n'a offert aucune excuse ou echange.

The new place in the neighborhood is getting a lot of support from the locals. Things are fresh tasty and the presentation is fun. It's cool to see the little kids jumping up and down wanting the cute cupcakes. Me too I want one. Lawrence the owner is quite the artist with cakes too. Bravo and well done

Their cappucino was too strong for me on both occassions, even with the 2nd time I asked for it to be less strong, and they put "no double expresso" in it, just a regular shot, while still charging me the same. Their stuff is potent lol and quite bitter, I had to add sugar. Still better than starbucks though! However I do quite adore their Triple Chocolate Cookies :3 It looks like the average macadamian thick cookie. I immidiately asked them if they could heat it up before I tried it which they were delighted to do it, and omg, this is so indulgant... instant comfort food Not bad for a 2$ cookie, with no extra charge to heat it up in their oven (not microwave). I feel like the cookie is packed with a lot of calories though, since it feels so buttery, so it's deffinetely a one piece desert, still feels good to have though :3 The place looks cute, modern without overdoing it. Very open and clean, air feels fresh, and not cluttered. I like how when I enter, the order counter is right there, very wide, and feels welcoming :) Polite staff, not speedy service but I wouldn't say they were slow either, espeacially for usually just having one person working. I'll try their other coffees or ask for further customizations before making a final opinion. The cappuccino portions I ordered were not large, but not tiny either, foamy but not too much. Almost 4$, though I do like how they used real milk, none of that powdered bullsht, and their machine looks cool.
