Outside Lands in San Francisco: Here’s the Full Beer, Wine, and Cocktail Lineup for 2023 | Eater SF

"Over in Wine Lands I saw that local standouts are featured prominently — the roster includes East Bay natural wine favorite Broc Cellars, Orinda's Les Lunes, and Scharffenberger Cellars from Mendocino — while VIP ticket holders get access to cult-favorite Jolie-Laide (which is opening a permanent winery space in Sonoma later this summer) as well as pours from Sonoma's Scribe and Napa's Ashes & Diamonds." - Lauren Saria

Quincy is awesome! Son many wonderful wines! They all pair so nicely with the charcuterie board provided. Breathtaking views. Private Experience with an at home vibe. You must go!

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Patland Estate Vineyards for a wine tasting, and it was an exceptional experience. The wines were absolutely delicious. Our host, Quincey, did an outstanding job guiding us through the tasting, providing insightful information about each wine and enhancing our appreciation of their unique characteristics. To top it all off the owner, Henry Patland graciously took time out of his day to give us a tour of the estate making the visit even more special. The combination of exquisite wines, excellent hosting by Quincey, and the personal touch from Henry made this a truly memorable visit. I highly recommend Patland Estate Vineyards to any wine enthusiast looking for a top-notch tasting experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What all do I say? Other than the winery we got engaged at (can't beat that!), Patland was our absolute favorite stop. From the moment we got there, Eric walked outside, greeted us with a glass of wine and took us on a tour of the property. The views are unbelievable, the wine cave is top notch, the cars in the garage were out of this world and the wine is unbeatable. After our tour, we went upstairs and sat at the bar where there was a charcuterie board already laid out for us. Patland was our favorite stop because it felt like home. It wasn't commercialized, Eric wasn't trying to shoo us out; we were there genuinely enjoying the wine and learning about how each one is made and the history of the Patland family. Eric was 12/10 top notch (homemade guac pretty dang good too!). We were really excited to join the wine club and opened up our first bottle here at home this past weekend and the wine was better than we remembered. I cannot recommend enough going to Patland and we can't wait to go back!

Mike gives an amazing tasting experience that really gives guests a thorough understanding of the quality wines Patland produces. Felix his brother does an amazing job producing consistently some of the best wines in the valley! An amazing small family brand.

This was a true highlight for our group of 18 women! We found Patland through our transportation service (Cork Dork Tours- also look them up- they are amazing). When we pulled up, our jaws dropped. The sun was shining and the views from the pool were unreal. We found ourselves so relaxed at this winery. The wines tasted amazing and the setting was very special. Our amazing host (Quincey) was very relaxed, funny and informative. We all loved talking with her. The grounds are stunning. Such a highlight for our group! Thank you Thank you!

Google
This was a fantastic experience! The wines are exquisite! The not yet released Malbec we were fortunate to taste has a deep color, good legs and deep berry taste with a hint of chocolate and a whiff of tobacco. Quite enjoyable! We were treated to many fabulous wines and honored to meet the winemaker and owners. It was just "one of those" memorable days! Thank you Patland family!

Quincey Taylor was an excellent host who made this tasting the most memorable and enjoyable one of our Napa Valley tour. The wines were exquisite and the setting truly breathtaking.

Google
Absolutely stellar. Quincy was such a delight and our experience was beyond amazing. The views are one of a kind just like the whole estate. You'll love it.

Yelp
Patland Vineyards if by far the most beautiful winery we visited in Napa! The views are truly unparalleled! I would suggest booking a tasting towards the late afternoon/early evening, so you can enjoy the sunset views that are pictured in my video. Our host was so knowledgeable and fun, and there was nothing pretentious about this tasting. You almost feel like you are hanging out with friends in their home, while you sample excellent wines. All of their tastings are private experiences, so you will have the entire place to yourself. I'd highly recommend this experience in Napa!

Yelp
My associates spent the afternoon tasting their incredible wines. Each was better than the last. Ms. Taylor was a fantastic hostess - knowledgeable and very gracious. Patland is indeed lucky to have her. The views and food/ apps were amazing. I've been blessed to travel around the world and this was a truly unique and exceptional experience.

Yelp
By appointment only wine tasting experience! Listening to the estate got burnt down to the ground in the Atlas Fire in Napa Valley on October 2017! They are no longer offer the tasting at their estate as it's being rebuild. They offer the tasting experience at a nearby location down the street at the Cave on Soda Canyon. They offer variety of wines, from Malbec which their estate wines; to Cab, from Pinot Noir to Sauvignon Blanc, and even their sparkling rosé which is honored from the eve that their family escaped from the fire. What's an incredible story. And talking to Michael Patland, the Marketing Director which was also our host that day. It was so inspired to listen to him and what his family went through that day! Could you imagine standing their watching your home/estate and everything your estate/winery is about burning down in flame in front of you and nothing you could do! I can't imagine that or would I dare! So seeing they picked it up and rebuild it and moving on, this is why I live Napa Valley and the people that build and put California on the worldwide map! They resilient and amazing! The Malbec is a truly treat! The Stage Coach Vineyard Napa Cab is really good. And if you got lucky, Michael will share with you the Hidden Gallery Blanc Caché, a private label from the Patland. It was nothing like I've ever tasted before! I enjoyed our visit with my man and my gf very much. And we pray for their rebuilding and I hope to get visit it again once it's done.

Yelp
Went here today for a private tour and tasting. *NOTE*. They were affected by the fires so they're not at the "estate" anymore. The cave address is 2275 soda canyon and there are zero signs on the road. Google maps will not take you to the correct address. It's a reddish gate with 2275 on it. I wish I could give our experience 10 stars. The caves weren't what I anticipated in all Honesty. However, every other moment with Quincey as our guide was just amazing. From greeting you with delicious wine, to golf carting you up the mountain to an overlook with a view worth a million bucks, to the cheese and wine pairings at a private table - just incredible. Quincey clearly was incredibly knowledgeable on wine, and not only passionate about great wine but passionate about her brand. It was great learning about the background and the different varietals over the year and how it progressed. Not to mention the wine was delicious. They have a unique take on all the makes - Malbec, rose, Chardonnay. It will pleasantly surprise you, you'll end up liking things you don't usually enjoy. Keep an open mind. I couldn't recommend booking a tour with her more. Well worth every cent and more.

Yelp
There's a handful of wine cave experiences, But to find a wine cave that has great wine and Not just a cool experience is what i was looking for. So when i found out that Patland has Jay Buoncristiani as their winemaker and were sourcing some of their grapes from a great winery, I got pretty excited to give them a try. Originally I met Michael and Felix at an event in San Jose as they were pouring wine at an event, but to have experienced wine tasting from Michael and have him even give us the opportunity to try his special wine that he was working on as a side project with Jay, I was sold! My wife absolutely loves their port, Jay is an incredible winemaker and his work on the Patland Malbec is really something special. There really wasn't one wine that i didn't come out enjoying. I can't say enough about this hidden gem Napa valley winery!

Yelp
Beautiful views and wonderful wine. I was fortune enough to attend a private tour and tasting with a group of friends recently and had a wonderful time. The wines are beautifully crafted in a rich, voluptuous style. Highly recommended

Yelp
This place was great!! Quincey was so awesome and I felt like I was at my bff's for wine. She is so knowledgeable and makes you feel right at home. You will not be disappointed. Exceptional wines and an overview of how the winery came to be along with a beautiful place to taste. Simply wonderful and worth the visit.

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorite wineries to go in Napa Valley. The wine is amazing and they have a great selection to choose from. My personal favorite is the port. It's in a great location and the view is breathtaking. Can't wait to try the wine cave experience next time I go. Be sure to make an appointment before going.

Yelp
Quincy hosted us beautifully in her vineyard estate home. The wine she poured for us was versatile with accommodating stories which she shared as a knowledgeable storyteller. We were FAMISHED when our group arrived so we were especially grateful for the cheese platter she served us!!! As we are an obnoxious crew after a few glasses, we appreciated how comfortable she made us feel in her home, gracing us with friendly back-and-forth banter. Pretty drive to get to her as well. A beautiful tour of the land.

Yelp
I don't know where to begin. We climbed the big hill to get to Patland and knew immediately we had fallen in love. The property itself is beautiful and the views are amazing. It makes Patland. But Quincey is an exceptional host. We felt like family as we toured the property and sipped the wines and absolutely loved every second. We became wine members and 12 bottles shipped to our house. Thank you Quincey - can't wait to see you again!

Yelp
Gorgeous views, excellent wine, and perfect cheese pairings. Quincy is great and knows everything about the wines and the family. Visited several boutique wineries this trip and this was my favorite

Yelp
Two Bottle Post: Patland Original source: West Ranch Beacon 9/2/11: As it's the Friday before a long weekend, I give you two wines from Napa Valley's Patland Estate Vineyards to consider drinking if you're housebound or bound to parts unknown: 08 Proprietary Red Wine Terra Del Cuore 14.8% alcohol Bottle No. 1008 of 1560 Napa Valley Color - Opaque, purple, deep ruby edge. Aroma -Mint, cigar, wood, pepper, dark mature fruit - but not a great deal of it on the nose. Taste - Blackberry jam, full-fruit gives way to excellent balance, nice tannins. Finish - Long finish. Pleasantly dry. Conclusion - Very exuberant, I liked how it started one way with so much fruit and finished with deep tannins. Drink now to 2020. 89 Eve pts. 2010 Sauvignon Blanc 14.4% alcohol Bottle No. 363 of 600 Napa Valley Color - Clear, clean, almost colorless save an echo of gold on the edge when held over white paper. Aroma - Green apple, lemon, honey, unsalted butter, anise. Taste - Tangy, crisp, acidic but not through to finish, lemon-lime, nice viscosity. Finish - Short to medium length. Conclusion - Perfect on a 106 degree evening on my front porch. 88 Eve pts. Drink now. (Disclosure: These samples were sent to me from the winery for review.) From website: At the time of purchase, Terra del Cuore had Merlot, Petit Syrah and Sangiovese grapes planted on the estate's property. In 2007, those were the grapes that went into the Proprietary Red wine. A unique ruby garnet blend, rich in aromas of red berries, clove, vanillin, cigar spice and nutmeg. The wine possesses an elegantly soft, satin-like approachable finish. This particular blend is exclusive to 2007 production only. In 2008, upon returning from a trip to wine country in Argentina and Chile, and following the advice of Jay Buoncristiani, Patland Estate's winemaker, the decision was made to convert the vines present on the property into Malbec. The climate, the location and the quality of the soil seemed ideal for a consistently great production of a rich Malbec blend. For the PEV 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah blends, highly desirable grapes from Stagecoach vineyards were purchased. For Cabernet Sauvignon, Jay blended 95% of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with 5% of Malbec and created a dark, rich wine, deeply layered with aromas of black cherry, truffle, molasses, French oak, sage, vanilla and black pepper. The persistent yet balanced finish exhibits excellent depth, purity and elegance. For the Syrah, he used 100% Syrah grapes and the wine emerged possesses the complex aromas of vibrant wild berries, toffee, maple, dark chocolate, white pepper and violets. Ripe dark berries, cedar spice and mocha continue to gush forth during the ultra fleshy velvet-textured long finish

Yelp
I have been a member her for 6 years. It is my favorite vineyard. The wine has such a tremendous quality. Great variety. The chocolates, the cigars, the white, the rose, all the reds. Fabulous. The grounds are amazing, up in the mountains. What's. View. Quincy is the best in the business. There is not a time I go to Napa that I don't come to Patland. I love their Proprietary Reds. The Brenda are amazing. And they offer such a diverse flexible membership no mater what type of wine drinker you are.

Yelp
If 10 stars was on option, Patland would get all 10 stars! Excellent wines! Quincey was a joy! Joined the wine club and can't wait to receive our first shipment of wine in North Carolina! Thank you!

Yelp
Probably a 4.5. The wine wasn't spectacular in my opinion but this is about where you are Drinking.nSeriously gorgeous and amazing property. We may rent this for future vacations. Magnificent. We went here as a last stop of the day while in napa on the recommendation of designated drivers. This property is truly an experience and we loved being all alone here to drink and it wasn't wine you would find other places. Very cool.

Yelp
Loved visiting this gorgeous vineyard yesterday! The Estate is large & very lovely...yielding great wines, food parings, views and especially great event planning with concierge services. Quincey Taylor Blake lead a fabulous private wine tasting event, which left me wanting to book a party asap. She is professional, informative and truly a cut-above. Need an escape to a dreamlike oasis?...Try an event here.
