Patras Gyros Greek Kitchen

Disappointed to say the least, I love gyros and was eager to try this place. We ordered 3 original gyros. The gyro meat was strange and rubbery, (looked like chicken paste cooked into strips) with bland flavor. There was too much tzatziki and it was messy. Only good thing was the bread was soft. No sides with gyro at a price of $10.95.

We tried the chicken platter, I got the skewer, and my husband had the sliced version. Both were very delicious! The garlic sauce was so tasty, and I really liked the salad too. The portion sizes were generous, we were both very full afterward. The service was great as well. 10/10

Delicious Gyros and other Mediterranean deliciousness. Great falafel, hummus, and Tzatziki; my friends thoroughly enjoyed their lamb options as well. I've yet to experience the chicken, but I can't imagine based on everything else it's not slammin'. Gyros are GINORMOUS; I consistently fail to respect this as I order sides or salads, which I can never fully appreciate in the wake of the Gyro. If you're smarter than me, you'll pull a few falafel from the Gyro, and enjoy them the next day; there is still plenty for the meal. And the FRIES...oh my GAWD...so garlicky and the feta offset of their special Fries...my mouth is both watering, and suddenly needing mouth rinse thinking about it.

My coworkers and I ordered take out today and received excellent food and service in addition to to sweet hand written notes.

This is a place you “HAVE” to check out if you want authentic Greek. Ibrahim is the owner, him and his team are fantastic. You have to try the lamb plate and the chicken shawarma!!! Also, the baklava is terrific, I think they use rose water, me and my wife really enjoyed it. Do yourself a favor and get over there!

Follow the delicious aroma to Patras kitchen. Great menu, a/c, and friendly service. The owner greets everyone who enters with kindness and a smile.

Everything we tasted today was incredible! We ordered a Usual with Lamb, a Traditional with lamb, a Junior Bowl with chicken, and a small French Fry. The portions are large and delicious, well priced value! I added feta and hummus to the Usual, and both were amazingly fresh! We'll probably ask to buy a bowl of the hummus next time, it was so delicious! Service was friendly and our order was finished quickly, we will definitely return next time we're craving gyros!

Made an order through grubhub, the lamb gyro was not bad, the red spicy sauce gave it flavor, thats why I gave the 2nd star. The chicken Gyro had 0 flavor, the texture of the meat was like rubber, tried one piece of meat and tossed the rest. Got the egg plant hummus... 0 flavor, also only came with "one" piece of pitta bread... not ordering from here again.

We got take out for the first time. I got the classic gyro. Service was excellent. Nice seating indoor or outdoors.

Food was good but at same time it was dry chicken overcooked and it seemed they reheat it that's why it turns out dry. The chicken gyro meat was blend and texture was like rubber. Rice was good and tzatziki sauce is good. An upsetting thing was last time they charged me $5. more than I paid with tip. So I don't plan to come back but if I do we will not tip at all. I work really close so sometimes I have to grab a salad somewhere. And it is slight overpriced but I do understand prices in food do go up. At least cook the chicken fresh don't reheat it on stove grill because it drys the chicken Even more. I worked in restaurants and I noticed few things that I will tell them in person if it doesn't change then I will come back and post it here. People treat me nice and polite but they do take a little long time I made sure salad don't have the orange on ends of cut lettuce, so far have not noticed

I came to this place because Mr. donut is next-door I hadn't had a gyro in a while and I thought maybe I'll try one. You get either grilled chicken that has a marinated, lamb that is shaved or chicken that is shaved. So I opted for shaved chicken. Traditional? Their Taziki sauce is really good. The euro is loaded with lots of meat and lettuce tomato all fresh. The shaved chicken was not my favorite. It was kind of dry and not a lot of flavor. This place is small but clean. The people that work here are very nice and helpful. It's a good bang for your buck.

We enjoyed eating here 3 times in the past five months and the food was consistently good. Tonight was like a trip to the VanMall Food Court, like it was cooked two hours ago and reheated to order. My daughter's falafel had a hair on top. They changed ownership, cooks, or both? We won't be back.

Stopped in Thursday, after a long day. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely a "take out" place, as there is not a huge dining area. Food was hot and delicious! Smelled so good I could not wait to get home to try it out. I will be back!

I could not believe the size of the gyro! It filled the container. Was a bit hard to pick up and eat, but they gave me a fork if I couldn't. Service was quick. Hot and good deal for the money. Limited seating. Only two seat tables. Clean and I liked the tile.

I have been going to Patras since it opened its doors. In the past three visits, the Gyro sandwich has had minimal strips of meat. It used to be full. Also, a suggestion to put the meat first in bread and then top it with veggies and sauce. Q- does the cook weigh the meat so there is consistency? NOTE: to prove my point, look at the historical posted pictures, where the sandwich was loaded with meat, and not as much filled with lettuce, etc.

This place is hands down the best and freshest gyros we've eaten! The service is good, not overly friendly, but not rude either. Very efficient ordering process considering how small the dining area is. Love that they offer chicken and veggie options in addition to the traditional lamb gyro. We ordered the 'usual' lamb gyro with tzatziki sauce, grilled chicken breast gyro with white garlic sauce, greek fries and baklava. Everything was absolutely delicious! The chicken breast was cooked perfectly. My husband loved the shaved lamb on his gyro. I really enjoyed the white garlic sauce! We will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items. The restaurant is part of a strip mall next door to Mr Maple donuts. It was clean inside and most patrons order their food to go. They have one restroom for customers to use.

Consistently hearty, plenty of meat, and delicious red sauce! Service is always professional and polite.

YUM! This small, quaint restaurant is located in hazel dell. Tons of parking accessible as it is in a strip mall area. Portion sizes were generous, flavor was so good. Our food came I out in a timely manner as well. Cashier was knowledgeable about menu items and easily gave us several good recommendations. Some of the best hummus I've had in a long time! Definitely come here if you're a gyro fan

Ordered take-out (delivered by GrubHub.) Food was fine, nothing terribly special. Delivery was not great - left at front door without notice, though I had specified NOT "contactless" (I found it approx 10 minutes after delivery)

You have to get a gyro because they are amazing. But then you also have to get fries and if you get the fries it is totally Greek style with the feta and garlic sauce. And then if you do that you might just as well go all the way with the chicken and onions on top. So basically you are eating two meals at this point.

Extremely good food. Friendly and quick service. We had The Usual and The Original. Delicious. Will go again, 10/10. Only downside calorie wise is that it is next door to Mr. Maples Donuts

I ordered from here once. Although I was the only customer in the place, the guy behind the counter made me feel like I was in the "Soup Nazi" episode from Seinfeld. The food was just so-so. I was really looking forward to this business opening... but I will NEVER return.

Literally the only Greek restaurant we order from anymore. Their food is consistently made to perfection! Portions are large, prices are fair and the food is delicious! They never prepare our offer wrong, it always arrives warm and there's always leftovers because the portions are so big. My fave is the gyro with lamb. Although, I do have to say I ask for no pickles because I'm just not used to a gyro with pickles. Cucumbers? Absolutely! Pickles? Not my cup of tea. Anywho, we have tried a few things and everything we've ordered has been delicious. I don't think you can go wrong at Patras Gyros! Oh! Their fries with the Feta?!? Omg SO GOOD!! And if you like spicy food you absolutely need to get their red garlic sauce to dip your fries in! It's the BEST!

I got carry out and the chicken was good and the rice was yummy. I would go there again.

1st time here. Didn't feel like cooking but My tzatziki, Greek salad and baklava are all soooo much better!! IDK what the little white "jimmies" were on the salad - maybe supposed to be feta - very little flavor. I expected a Mediterranean restaurant to have a decent quality feta, preferably goat milk feta but there was a sprinkling of little white jimmies.The rice and the white garlic sauce had flavor, weren't bad. The meats were very dry but tender andi mildly flavored. I my will not return.

I ordered via uber eats and the gyros were surprisingly good! I'll definitely order again and pay a visit to the restaurant next time

Super busy and for good reason! I had the falafel salad and it was delicious. My husband had the original gyro and was happy with it. We also shared an order of Greek fries, they were perfectly prepared and served piping hot.

We had two amazing lamb gyros sandwiches stuffed with delicious lamb and tzatziki sauce tomato and red onions Superb! We'll be back.

We've eaten here a few times and have been very pleased. Love their garlic sauce. I'd eat a shoe with that on it.

Was over the river and saw this place on here and thought it would be a good place to stop for a lunch before driving back to Oregon. I'm so happy I went. I got the messy fries and was able to enjoy them for 3 small meals. The meat was hot and seasoned perfectly and hit the spot. The fries were normal fries but the stars of the show were the sauces. I got the tzatziki and the house sauce and they worked so well together. The house sauce is a little spicy and the spicy builds so it keeps warm and switching to the tzatziki helps cool and get your ready for more heat. As I said, I was able to get 3 small meals out of the fries but it would be perfect for a shared snack or 1 meal if you're hungry. Anyway you look at it, if you're craving Greek and fries try these!

We eat here at least once a month. I like that you can order online which makes it easy on weeknights when I don't want have much time to cook. I love the salads and that I can get one pound of gyro meat. Their gyros are delicious and so are the french fries. Service is great.

The folks that own and operate Patras are so kind and welcoming, each and every time we order. The food is always fresh and delicious with ample portion sizes for the cost. My go to is the Chicken Souvlaki Gyro. So much flavor in that chicken! And don't skip out on the White Garlic sauce! Soooooo good! The establishment is inviting and well lit and they have the best cucumber/lemon ice water. It's free and it's delicious! Check them out!

Their fries is soooo good I almost cried when I finished it. Gyro with the lamb meat was seasoned wonderfully and packed!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice meal at Patras Gyros. Though it was a weird time to eat (between 2-3pm) there were lots of people picking up takeout orders. We chose to eat at one of their 4 little tables. It's not fancy-you walk up to the counter and order. Food is all disposable, down to the plastic cutlery, even for dining in. We tried the lentil soup to start with, which was nicely spiced. My husband ordered the lamb gyros platter, which he liked. It comes with a generous portion of Greek salad, a half round of flatbread,!rice and 2 sauces of your choice. He opted for the spicy red and garlic sauces, which both complemented the meal nicely. I got the chicken souvlaki platter. It had 2 chicken kebabs and the same sides. I got tziki sauce and the garlic sauce. The garlic was my favorite. For dessert we shared baklava. My pic shows one but it came with two. My husband ate one before I got a pic of it! The prices here are very reasonable for the generous portions. If you're in the Hazel Dell neighborhood, give this little place a try. We'll be back (but maybe for takeout next time).

I really enjoyed the food from here, and was surprised by how good it was considering that I had to wait for it to be delivered via Uber eats. I ordered the gyro plate with chicken and beef. Paid a few bucks more to add extra meat and it was definitely worth it. The garlic sauce was amaaazing so make sure you order extra if that's your thing. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu soon!

This is the best Gyro I've ever had in my life. Read that again It will be the best gyro you've ever had in your life too, if you trust me, get in your car and go order The Usual. What you're going to get is a huge gyro, these guys DO NOT SKIMP on the meat. My euro came to me piled with fresh cooked cut lamb...... Oooh My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Add the Garlic sauce... You can only lead a horse to water. You are welcome.

We ordered DoorDash and the food arrived so greasy. I felt bad for the driver having to lug around this greasy bag to our house. Food is not anything to write home about. It's pretty expensive for what you get. Hummus was the best thing. Can't speak to the service or ambiance as we ordered it delivery.

I have nothing but good things to say about Patras! The place I work recently hosted a team building event for 11 people. I knew Patras would be the perfect place to bring in lunch for everyone. They were easy to work with and plan the meal/ adjust the menu, while being mindful of my budget. They were flexible at picking up this large order slightly before they opened for the day. All the trays were piping hot. The presentation to everyone was really lovely and the food spoke for itself. The chicken skewers and falafel and rice were top notch. We also got Greek salad and lentil soup and pita bread. Everything always delicious and got rave reviews. The lentil soup and the taziki were my personal favorite. So much so that I just ate there for lunch again yesterday. Thank you everyone at Patras from all of us! I totally recommend them for your business lunch get together!!!

This place has a few small tables. You order at the counter! NOW DONT let that stop you !!!! It would be a mistake as they are great with their service, they are fast but not bad. Their food is a delight to the palate and a joy to the wallet!! Please don't tell anyone about this place! Shooosh ! Peace be with you all

this place is pretty good for Vancouver and quick. The falafel and hummus in particular were very tasty.

The Gyros are sublime. Greek hospitality and as always clean kitchen. Wonderful service and excellent quality food. Love this restaurant.

The souvlaki plate is the best! The chicken is always moist & tender with great flavor, great salad, and good rice. Very generous portions. I only gave 4 stars because the gyro is only okay. Not the most flavorful, but the portions are huge (too much if you ask me).

Didn't get a chance to take photos of the food we ordered but I can say in comparison to "Greek/Mediterranean" food we've eaten in the area, especially Gyros it fell a bit short. The combination plate of lamb and beef, with rice and a Greek salad, spicy sauce on the side was our order. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. The meat didn't have the flavor punch like I expected. The tzatziki was a bit bland and the rice... what can I say, boring. I'll probably try them again another day and see if it's any different. The staff was pleasant.

Walked in a got a gyro, friendly staff and gyro was great. I feel that they give you the freshest ingredients in the gyros

The food here is outstanding. The service is welcoming, friendly, fast and is more than willing to help you with any menu questions. I've only been here on a few occasions since it's a little ways from my home (well worth the drive though) but really enjoy "The Usual" gyro (minus pickle since I don't like pickle on my gyros). I opted to order some Spanikopita today because I've never tried it. Hot out of the oven and looking delicious!!! can't wait to try it but too full from my gyro to even sample it now. The portions are very generous! Give them a try, they won't disappoint!

Best gyro in town! I've been to several places and they are all good but "The Usual" from Patras was excellent. The tzatziki sauce is on point, the lamb was tender and flavorful, the pita was soft, and the portion was huge! The meat to veggie ratio was perfect. My partner ordered "The Usual" with chicken and no sauce, but his had tzatziki sauce on it, so there's the reason for 4 stars. In good spirits he ate it anyway and said it was fine but just wished there had been no sauce as he doesn't like cucumbers. He didn't want to go through the trouble of calling them and complaining, and then going all the way back to the shop for a new one (can't blame him.) He said the chicken was ok, needed a bit more flavor but he likes the pita and the meat-veggie ratio as well.

Best gyros you can get on this side of the city. Delicious, fresh, and filling. The people who work there are extremely welcoming and kind. You get served quickly. Highly recommend.

Food is on point ya'll. We got the original and the chicken gyro. It was fresh. Great service. And overall feel of the place is solid. We will be back!
