We stayed for a week and we received wonderful service from all the staff from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Everything was perfect. Housekeeping was very good and our baroque room very well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely rooftop bar and restaurant, Thank you to all the reception staff in particular Alessia, William and Emanuela. Excellent recommendations and so helpful. Thank you to Matteo and his team in the restaurant and bar (Davide, Serena, Ilaria and Salvatore) for looking after us so well. Perfectly located for everything in Lecce. Nice beach club option too. Very efficient transfer service too. What sets this hotel apart is the staff - they are well trained and provide service of the highest order with a smile. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Patria Palace. The hotel has all the charm of a boutique property, with comfortable rooms and thoughtful touches throughout. Breakfast is an absolute highlight — not only for the quality and variety of the food, but also for the unforgettable ambiance, accompanied each morning by a live harp performance. The rooftop bar offers a great setting to unwind, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the service. Every member of the team welcomed us with warmth and genuine smiles, making us feel at home from the very first moment. A perfect stay in the heart of Lecce — we’ll definitely be back.

Unbelievable and I’ll be telling my friends. We’ve traveled extensively around the world ( except USA) and this place is the best. We’ve never had such great friendly service anywhere ( must have been the free glass of Prosecco on arrival… lol. No Alessia is an absolute gem as was all the staff and the extra touches( like violin and harp at breakfast was a special treat. I can’t rate this establishment any higher.. should be ten stars

We are here on a two week vacation of Southern Italy. Lecce was our third stop. We stayed at Patria Palace for four nights. We usually stay at five star hotels around the world and Patria Palace did not disappoint. From the warm welcome at the valet to checking in with a welcome drink and very friendly service, it set the tone for the whole stay. Absolutely outstanding service at every level from the valet to the front desk to the breakfast staff to housekeeping and the wonderful restaurant Atenza. There was not one weakness in the whole stay when it came to service. The design of the hotel is newly renovated while keeping its old world charm. The design of the lobby is outstanding with beautiful wood architecture and glass chandeliers . We had an upgraded room because of our leaders club status and we also booked the terrace suite. The latter was excellent with a beautiful view of the Basilica and a welcoming pool that was well maintained and a terrace that had an amazing view of sunrise and sunset, and of course the Basilica. The breakfast every day was a highlight with amazing service from Vishnu and Davide and Humayan. All made every breakfast feel like a Michelin experience. I can’t remember all the wonderful people at the front desk, but they really make sure your stay was outstanding. On our last night we had dinner at Atenza, I can’t remember the name of our waitress, but she was excellent, and the food was worthy of a Michelin star. Overall, can’t recommend this hotel enough, it was a great base to explore the Salento Peninsula, but more importantly, the hotel made itself so welcoming that you didn’t want to leave. I would definitely come back just for this hotel. It was that good.

Just returned from a wonderful week at The Patria Palace Hotel. We received amazing service from the whole team. Their kindness and hospitality very much made our holiday. The location of the hotel is perfect and I would recommend room 101 which was exceptional. Thank you again to all the staff.

It is very rare to find a hotel where staff are so genuinely dedicated to ensuring their guests are enjoying themselves. I have spend a lot of years of my life in hotels so I know impeccable service whe I meet it.|The rooms, interior is of a very high standard as is the breakfast - lavish!|we've already booked another stay. We found no comparison in southern Italy - well in many places really||Thank you to all staff - and a great acknowledgement to management.

Patria Palace will always hold a special place in our hearts. We had our wedding welcome party on the rooftop here two years ago, so returning this August felt extra meaningful. From the moment we arrived, the staff remembered us — a small but touching detail that shows just how thoughtful and welcoming they are.||||The hotel itself is stunning: perfectly located in the heart of Lecce, with a spectacular rooftop, beautiful rooms, and an atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. It’s a place we will always want to return to, hopefully every year.||||A heartfelt thank you to Matteo, Elisa, and Simona, along with the entire team — from the door staff and concierge, to housekeeping, the breakfast team, and the rooftop bar staff. Every single person made our stay truly special.||||A great touch is a free shuttle to and from their affiliated beach club which includes free access, towels and bottle of water.||||Patria Palace is more than just a hotel for us — it’s become part of our story.

10/10 We had the best experience in Italy with the Patria Palace. You feel in family and super well attended. The staff is amazing, specially grateful to Alessia. She was the best taking care of us in all the moment!. We will come back definitely and we recommend this hotel to all the people who want to experience the best service!!!

That Lecce is a distinguished and very beautiful city needs no claim from me. The Patria Palace, small grand hotel, old palazzo, with 1930's ocean liner decoration, is quite worthy of it. Comfortable, gracious, and...nice. We got back hungry and ridiculously late for lunch. The closed restaurant made us a fresh minestrone, the best I have ever eaten, and wonderful local cheese to follow. Not huge, but very comfortable rooms. Generous public spaces. In the absolute Center of Lecce's magnificent palaces, public and private, and even more resplendent churches. Lecce was, after all, the star of Sachaverel Sitwell's "Southern Baroque" (c. 1928). There is also a distinguished Medival ghetto, also very close. Stay here!
