Wow incredible location and a what a stunning hotel. You drive straight to the hotel through the centre and then the hotel take your car and park it for you costs €35 a day. They then return your car anytime back to you within 30 minutes. We stayed 2 nights in a standard room which was a good size on the 2nd floor. Gorgeous toiletries and beautiful fluffy bathrobes. Bed super comfy and the room had a huge tv in. On arrival to breakfast we were greeted by a harp player so beautiful. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice and the staff were wonderful. The hotel has a rooftop bar with amazing views and gorgeous cocktails.

I have never stayed at a hotel where every single employee was dedicated to excellence in service, attention to every need and from the heart willingness to serve. We were fortunate to stay there. Also, the gym was great, the size of the room was comfortable, and the turn down service was lovely. Not enough words. The rooftop patio was great! The night time tour of the basilica amazing! Thank you!

This is without doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, as we checked in we were welcomed with a nice glass of Prosseco. We were taken to our room and everything was explained to us so we knew exactly where everything thing was and how it worked. The room is well appointed with everything you need. The glass bottles of water were replaced twice a day and your room is turned down each evening. The staff at this place (and there are many) are just so friendly, everyone is so welcoming, curteous and always attentive. The place is spotless and the staff work on keeping it that way. The breakfast is partly buffet with special orders placed from a menu, they even have a violinist playing while you have your breakfast. We were offered a a beach day where the hotel takes up to seven people to a private beach club, where we were given towels, water and taken to our sun lounges with shade to spend 3 wonderful hours at this beautiful beach, they then picked us up for the hotel return. I cannot express enough the friendliness and respect of all the staff towards the guests, this hotel was a highlight of our stay in Puglia.

Amazing hotel with really helpful staff, beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast and an unbeatable location in the heart of the historical center of Lecce, which is a very understated destination in Southern Italy. The entire hotel was wonderfully decorated and detailed, the rooms were immaculately designed and well maintained. Breakfast was an excellent spread, both buffet and made-to-order. For what we paid, it was certainly great value for money; it truly lives up to its 5-star rating. The rooftop bar and restaurant is a great place as well. The view of the Basilica di Santa Croce is unbeatable from there.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was fantastic and the rooftop was a great spot for a drink. Given the heat in July, the free transportation to the beach was awesome. Be sure to book early. The fact that the beach reserved chairs for guests was great. The only complaint is I would stay on floor 1 or 2. The air conditioning on the 3rd floor was not as good.

A Magical Stay in Lecce – Hotel Patria is a Gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I spent four unforgettable nights at Hotel Patria in Lecce, and everything about the experience was simply outstanding. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive — truly going above and beyond to make me feel at home. The breakfast was an absolute highlight: beautifully presented and abundant, with a wide selection of delicious teas, fresh fruits, breads, and countless other treats — all accompanied by live harp or violin music, played softly in the background by talented students from the local classical music conservatory. It was a feast for the senses. The hotel’s beach club, Mora Mora, is also lovely. On calm days, the water is crystal clear, and the atmosphere is peaceful and refined — perfect for relaxing by the sea. Don’t miss the rooftop restaurant, which offers not only great food but also a charming view of one of Lecce’s stunning Baroque churches. Dining with that backdrop was a truly special experience. I absolutely recommend Hotel Patria to anyone visiting Puglia — it’s the perfect combination of elegance, comfort, and authentic local charm. Giovanna

Lovely stylish hotel in a fantastic central location in the beautiful city of Lecce. The staff were friendly and very professional. The breakfast each morning was excellent, with a wonderful selection. The rooftop bar was nice. Stayed in a classic room which was small and dated and obviously hasn’t been included in recent refurbishments. There was an internal window overlooking a small vestibule at the entrance to the room which was unsightly - some frosted glass would have solved the problem. The window in the room overlooked a large wall. We were mainly out sightseeing for the 3 days we stayed so it wasn’t a problem. I would happily stay again but I would choose a different style room.

We recently stayed at the Patria Palace Hotel in Lecce, Puglia, and had an overall excellent experience. The location is central to the old town, making it perfect for exploring the charming streets and historical sites.||The staff were welcoming and helpful, providing the level of service you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Their attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable.||One of the highlights was the rooftop restaurant and bar area. The setting was magical, and the food, drinks, and service were all top-notch, perfectly complementing the stunning location.||Our room was well-equipped and beautifully decorated. However, one downside was that our room (103) only had an internal view, which was a bit disappointing.||Breakfast was fantastic, with the option to dine indoors or outdoors. However, we found it odd that there was an additional charge of €15 for certain items at breakfast, such as Eggs Benedict. This seemed inexplicable, especially since you could order poached eggs and bacon on sourdough bread at no extra charge, making the hollandaise sauce effectively cost €15.||Despite these minor issues, our stay at Patria Palace Hotel was excellent overall. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the beauty and charm of Lecce in a luxurious setting.

Yelp
That Lecce is a distinguished and very beautiful city needs no claim from me. The Patria Palace, small grand hotel, old palazzo, with 1930's ocean liner decoration, is quite worthy of it. Comfortable, gracious, and...nice. We got back hungry and ridiculously late for lunch. The closed restaurant made us a fresh minestrone, the best I have ever eaten, and wonderful local cheese to follow. Not huge, but very comfortable rooms. Generous public spaces. In the absolute Center of Lecce's magnificent palaces, public and private, and even more resplendent churches. Lecce was, after all, the star of Sachaverel Sitwell's "Southern Baroque" (c. 1928). There is also a distinguished Medival ghetto, also very close. Stay here!
