"Head Downtown to this modern Irish pub for all the usual drinks but slightly classier than usual vibes. The menu features Galway Bay mussels, a burger with Jameson-infused barbecue sauce, a traditional Irish breakfast, pub curry, and crispy duck wings — certainly a step above most pub food. The aesthetics here are also a little on the fancier side, with chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, lovely and soft leather chairs, and Irish ephemera hanging on the walls." - Courtney E. Smith, Alaena Hostetter

"Some days an Irish breakfast will cure what ails you. Eggs, sausage, hash, toast, bacon — basically everything they can think to put on the plate. Pair it with a Guinness instead of a mimosa and bam — Irish brunch. Or go hardcore and dive in on a Scotch egg. Why not." - Courtney E. Smith

I could not ask for a better experience. The food was wonderful! I had the Shepherds pie and my wife had the Monte Cristo and we both loved it. We also had the scotch eggs and I highly recommend them. The service was amazing. Our server never let our cups run dry and she was so sweet and nice. Anyone coming to Dallas should make coming here a priority.

I love this place came here 2 times in a row last weekend the bartender is the best he’s always nice and makes conversation with everybody very friendly, also the second time I came he knew my order and my grandfathers order as soon as we sat down he brought my lemonade and my grandfathers beer without asking I loved that !!! The atmosphere is great the way they decorated the place with vintage stuff and modern is great I love it

Google
Service, food and atmosphere were phenomenal. Our server was so personable and made some amazing suggestions! The food was so good it felt like such a homey meal - everything is made from scratch in kitchen. If you are a fan of French onion soup, GET IT! It is baked in an onion and is hands down one of the best ones I’ve ever had in my life. The patio space is amazing and i highly recommend sitting out there on a nice day. Definitely a place worth trying if you’re ever in Dallas.

Google
A very, very nice place and excellent food. Fish and chips were amazing and the dip was delicious. I loves the potatoes. The Mac & cheese was very nice too. That was the entries. The food: hamburguers and onions soup. Very good taste. I loved this place. Music, atmosphere and the staff were very nice. Thanks guys.

Google
Amazing food! Service has been great! The filet mignon was exactly how I ordered and delicious. The Irish nachos were good! The fish and chips was way more than expected and couldn't finish it all but oh so good!

Google
Really nice place here. Service a little slow so we sat at the bar since there was no one at the door to greet us. I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup both of which were really good. Bread was very crispy and there were multiple cheese. There were 3 pieces of bread on this sandwich. Made it very hearty. My husband got a Reuben and it was a very good Reuben with a good amount of meat on the sandwich. Fries came with it for the side. Restrooms were stocked and well kept. We walked here from our hotel so I can’t speak on parking. All in all it was a good meal and we will be back.

In town for a business expo, we had dinner here three out of four nights, which tells you how good it is. The place is clean and comfortable with a great down-to-earth Irish vibe. Nice bar and plenty of places to sit. The food is incredible, we had the best Scotch eggs we've ever had... anywhere. Highly recommend those and the corned beef and cabbage rolls appetizer, the fish and chips, and the bangers and mash. Beer is excellent as well. Our server recommended the Black & Tan which was great, and the Black Velvet which was equally good. Our servers all three nights were fantastic. We had Kaelon for two nights and he was attentive and super friendly and full of suggestions on what to try. Karen served us on our last night there and she was great as well, super attentive and always checking on us to make sure we were okay and didn't need anything. In short, great place, great food, great service... would definitely swing by again next time we're in town.

Google
Patrick Kennedy's offers a decent Irish pub experience, though getting there can be a bit of an adventure. Located inside the downtown Westin Dallas, it's not the most obvious spot to find, and navigating through the hotel can feel a little like a treasure hunt. The biggest hurdle is definitely the parking situation, as you're reliant on the hotel's garage, which isn't always the most convenient. Once you do manage to locate the pub, though, you'll find a fairly standard Irish pub atmosphere. It's a solid option if you happen to be in the area or staying at the Westin, but the accessibility issues might make it less appealing for a dedicated outing.

Yelp
I came here over the summer while in Dallas for a conference for work. I arrived earlier than hotel check-in, and I had no where to go for several hours, so I came here. I sat at the bar and ordered the chicken and waffles and a side of eggs. The bar tender was pleasant and very welcoming. She chatted with me, sympathetic to the fact that I was tired and hungry with no hotel room to check into just yet. It wasn't long before my meal arrived. The eggs were eggs, though I needed to add a little salt and pepper. The chicken and waffles were delicious; however, the waffles were very sweet. They were soft on the inside but had a bit of a sweet crispiness on the outside. I definitely enjoyed them, but I felt so guilty eating them! After a couple of hours of scrolling through my phone, watching a few soccer games on the TVs at the bar, chatting more with the bartender, I ordered a snack, spicy cheese curds. They were hot, fresh, tasty and really packed a serious punch. The ranch, carrots, and celery really came through for the win! Although the cheese curds were good, I wouldn't have been able to finish them without the ranch and veggies to cool down the spice. Although I would never just sit at a bar for hours under normal circumstances, this place had a pleasant atmosphere that helped to pass the time. If I'm ever in Dallas again, this pub is definitely worth another visit! I saw a couple traditional Irish meals that I would love to try!

Yelp
Patrick Kennedy's DID NOT disappoint! Are you in search of a place with great vibes, good music, a chill atmosphere, great service, and food to boot? I'm here to tell you Patrick Kennedy's has it all and more! Patrick Kennedy's Irish Pub is located near the corner of Main St. and Griffin in downtown Dallas. It's a great place to get together with friends or just surround yourself with great people and atmosphere. As soon as you walk up to the door, you feel as if you are walking into a traditional Irish pub. We were a group of 6 gathering together on a Friday night looking to reconnect. I was unsure if they would be able to accommodate our group, so I sent an email to see if we could make a reservation. A few days later, Samira reached out and was able to accommodate our needs. Her cheerful voice and willingness to ensure that we received the best service possible was a prequel to what was to come. From Elaine, who got us started with beverages, to Erica who took care of our table for the night, to the young lady(I didn't get your name, but your were wearing black & white glasses) who helped my niece in the restroom. Really took the time to serve us well and make us feel at home. I CANNOT say enough good things about the staff! You just need to go down there and experience them for yourself. Now, for the food! What I love about visiting an establishment with a larger group is that it gives you the opportunity to taste and try a variety of offerings, as well as test the kitchen staff prowess! Baby, my hats off to the Kitchen staff. On a busy Friday night, in downtown Dallas, we did not wait more than 10 minutes for any of our food! Everything was hot, fresh, and seasoned well! We started out with a Scottish Egg, Spicy Cheese Curds, and Corned Beef and Cabbage Eggrolls. Absolutely delicious! The Scottish egg was perfectly cooked with the traditional runny yolk and golden brown, crunchy exterior. The cheese curds were absolutely addictive! The eggrolls were served with 1000 island dressings and gave an incredible mouth feel of salty, sweet, tangy, earthy, and tart! Entrees were Fish and Chips( what seemed like a whole cod loin, that was fresh, with a bright clean flavor, and earth shattering crust, served with Coleslaw and the tangiest tarter sauce I have ever had! Bliss. Monte Cristo( standard turkey and ham, but elevated to new heights by adding Wexford cheddar and Swiss Cheese on sourdough bread, then beer-battered and fried to perfection). The Cluckin Chicken (buttermilk-brined chicken breast, with an IPA sauce, coleslaw, cheddar cheese on sourdough(talk about texture and flavor on steroids)! The Turkey Avocado (fresh sliced turkey, creamy avocado, smoky bacon, on sourdough, and a jalapeno aioli for kick)! Drunken Mussels (Black mussels, steamed in a creamy beer broth, that was as elegant as it was light and succulent. The garlic crostinis were the perfect vessel to shovel that rich broth into your belly). Garlic Mac N Cheese ( three Irish cheese, plus a Guinness stout cheese sauce that kept the dish creamy and lush) was everything a Mac N Cheese should be! For dessert! Bread Pudding! I grew up on bread pudding, and this took me home! Thick, custard laden cubes of sourdough, plump raisins, with a Jameson cream sauce. It absolutely warmed my soul! I am so glad we decided to step into everything that is Patrick Kennedy's Irish Pub. Great Food, Great Atmosphere, Great People. Check It Out!!

Yelp
Came here with a group of coworkers to celebrate a birthday and we just so happen to be in the mix of celebrating St. Patrick's Day! They had a specialize menu just for the event and a plethora of activities the week leading to. They have a lengthy happy hour and we made sure to order food and drinks for our enjoyment. Our server was attentive and friendly! I ordered the Galway Bay Mussels and they're made with a cream sauce. Definitely a different taste than what I'm used to but the mussels were fresh. I also ordered a few Green Tea Shots and Mar O'Ritas. The drinks were amazing and perfectly mixed! I was able to taste the Cheese Curds and Corned Beef and Cabbage Rolls and they were very tasty. Overall, we had a great time and it was a treat to be there for St. Patrick's Day!

Garrison T.

Yelp
Delicious vegan Shepard's pie. Great portions. I also got hot tea. This business validates parking also. Customer service was great.

Jay T.

Yelp
Went here right after flying into forth worth Texas. This is in the heart of downtown and they did not disappoint. Whiskey Wednesday is a hit! Had the Up burger and they loaded it with avocado which I love. Also the location is right off the strip. Wait staff was up to par too.

Chris T.

Yelp
Salt of the earth staff who honestly made the meal very pleasant. Drink prices very fair and wings were great. It was a fun place to visit while traveling alone for work.

Pae D.

Yelp
I would say Patrick Kennedy's Irish Pub is one of the best Pub I ever visited! And I'm surely looking forward to bringing my first date there! I mean only if I find the right person!

Yelp
Gonna still give this one the top marks it truly deserves despite the ultra-annoying drilling that was taking place throughout the entire recent lunch visit. I'd passed by the restaurant as I was exiting the Westin early in my 3-day stay, but I'd pretty much lined up my dining choices in advance, either by online research or word-of-mouth suggestions. Almost immediately after being seated at the bar (my personal choice for the visit) I was greeted by bartender Leon, who was friendly, attentive, and accurate for the entire dining experience. Rather than simply answering a question about suggestion of a beer, he went and poured a sample of two he thought I might like, and then let me make that decision. Great hospitality technique, and one I really appreciated. He asked if I had menu questions, but I'd already determined what I wanted (Monte Cristo) which made him laugh a bit as he deemed it the 'Sandwich of the Day' due to the frequency it was ordered by those currently seated at the bar. I'd not noticed that, but I definitely know why it's popular. It was delicious and a rather huge portion at that. The bar chips were excellent as well. Everything paired together as a great meal with perfect service. I wish I'd known about this location before my final day as I'd have made multiple stops. I guess that give me good reason to revisit Dallas soon. Thanks, again, Patrick Kennedy's and Leon!!

Yelp
We had a blast!! Came in at about 4 just to chill and have a beer. Great Irish atmosphere and decent happy hour, extensive liquor menu. During our visit they had a promo for Tullamore whiskey so girls came by with free shots. The honey one was really good!! THEN.....the coolest....promo for a free Guiness but we sent a picture to them and they put it in the top!!!! My dog is in the foam!!! So damn cool. Server was cool, music was great. Enjoyed our time. Why not 5 stars??? Wish my beer was a notch colder and it would've been perfect!

Clint C.

Yelp
We walked in and seated ourselves. It took a few minutes before someone came by and gave us menus. After that, the service was awesome! The food was very authentic and tasty! Definitely will come back! We also met the "Dallas 2024 Irishman of The Year"!! He had a banner and all!

Diane W.

Yelp
We had great drinks and food, no problems there. Highly recommend the pretzels. My issue was the server closed out the tab and added her own tip at 22% for two people before the receipt was even brought out. I at least want to be given the choice of what I tip.

G G.

Yelp
Great bonless wings, the spicy asian sauce had kick for days. Blackberry cider on tap and Guinness, both were amazing. Tried the scotched egg and was surprised how good of an example it was. Throw in some good service by jake and it was a total win of a stop.

Yelp
Multiple Visits - Each Time, Extremely Disappointing I've been to this pub 3 times. Each time has been more disappointing than the last. Ordered: (Main) Pub Curry - 1/5 - The curry was very very bitter and tasted solely of onions. This is what happens when you do not properly cook the onions down (the raw onion taste remains instead of melding into the dish as it does in a proper curry). The chicken was also overcooked and tough. (Main ) Howarth Beer-Battered Fish & Chips - 2/5 - The fish was cooked well, but it was extremely salty. This was because they laid down a bed of fries, salted the fries, then laid the fish down on top of that. So the fish has salt from the fries below as well as the salt originally intended for the fish. That made it almost inedible. The fries were cooked well though. (Main) Irish Stew - 2/5 - Apart from not looking too appetizing, the taste was extremely bland and lacking. The vegetables were cut too big to cook properly, and the potatoes all had large black spots on them, indicating that they were old. The atmosphere of this restaurant is nice, and the service is good, but the food is not worth going for. I gave it three chances, and every time I left extremely disappointed. I will not go back for a fourth time.

Mike L.

Yelp
The greatest, most affordable bar with the best atmosphere! The food is great! The beers are affordable! Service is top class! Nothing but good times here! Lanita was top class! Amazing times here!

Malachi S.

Yelp
Struggled with this one. The review is a reflection of the food not the service or ambiance, decor etc. I just couldn't give it the 5 I might have for the service and decor because the food was poor. To be fair I'm used to real Irish food so their versions just came up short. We all know it's very difficult to get decent Guinness outside Ireland so maybe I shouldn't have tried, but the flavor of Shepards pie is not that hard to replicate and this did not taste like it. The brown bread was awful . They really should get a new recipe ... but the side salad and tomato soup were nice.

Kayla R.

Yelp
Came in today on Saturday for brunch and some drinks with a large group believe me the Irish hospitality is real here. Let's start with the cocktails they were beautifully blended the table was raving we tried among us 6 on their cocktail list. Most had the Irish breakfast and was very happy. I had the scotch eggs and if you're a fan you must try it here loved the sausage breading so fitting for Dallas!Thank you Shane for the hospitality!!!If your looking for great ambiance, food and cocktails stop by You wont be disappointed!!

Hong M.

Yelp
Had lunch at this pub while staying at the Westin. Quite convenient since it's adjacent to the hotel. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is typical of an Irish pub with dark wooden booths and a well stocked bar. The cheese curds were good and crispy, a bit spicy. French Onion soup was interesting, as it was served in a real onion. The Castletown sandwich was essentially a Rueben with tender corned beef, kraut, cheese and sauce on marbled rye, served with house kettle chips. The pub curry was a bit heavy on tomato sauce, but decent. Good food and friendly service without leaving the hotel property.

Anastasiya T.

Yelp
Delicious food! Pleasant service, great downtown location, live music, outdoor seating

Beau H.

Yelp
We love Wesley's hospitality at this place and because of these amazing food hours (the kitchen is open until 1pm) we were able to eat here after a very long flight and even at the end of very long days of work. Everything on this menu is excellent and well made : the salad was what i would recommend for clean eating and the Oh My Cod! Sandwich would be my decadent option. It's wonderful and i think i had it six times. The Wine prices are also amazing $8 for house wine you cannot beat this! after tallying our receipts from our Dallas stay we must say we spent the most here and absolutely was worth every penny : thank you again Wes, we'll be back!

Yelp
Best Irish Pub in Downtown Dallas. Amazing food. Awesome Service. Great atmosphere.

We brought the family to Dallas! This was the absolute best place to be ! Walking distance to everything. Food was amazing. Loved the Fish & Chips! The Irish Mule was terrific. You can leave with out the bread pudding! Loved the ice cream too! We had to of course order the Irish Brown bread! That is a must. We got to meet the manager Shane he is from Dublin Ireland , our waitress was so attentive!! Could not have been better!

Yelp
Burgers, Brews & Irish-y stuff with Texas flair. Below Westin & Belo park-side. Brunch & Happy Hour too.

Nicole T.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and friendly service. Best Mac and cheese I've ever had! Will be back every time we are in town

Kirsten E.

Yelp
Stopped in for a drink and was surprised by the tasteful decor. For a "pub" it's very tasteful. The wait staff were cheerful and attentive. The next day we popped in for appetizers. The spicy cheese curds and boneless wings are a must. The house wine and great beer selection were expected but really, really good! A wonderful place to relax after touring the JFK Memorial.

Sean D.

Yelp
Fantastic pub in downtown Dallas. Outdoor and indoor seating with ample tv's to watch a game. Food is excellent and drinks even better with a nice pub like atmosphere. Staff is great and always very helpful. We live across the street so we visit regularly. Check it out if you get a chance.

Yelp
The service Sam provided as well as the wonderful experience she provided. She is very knowledgeable about the a selection of food and drinks that were provided.

Candace D.

Yelp
We gave this place a try for lunch and loved it! To start, the ambiance is really cool. It's something you'd expect from an Irish pub, but a bit more upscale. The Irish music was a fun touch. Service was great, and the food was delicious. We ordered the fish and chips and the shepherd's pie and both were delicious. My pie came with a fresh side salad and brown bread and both were exceptional. We'll absolutely be back!

Rosalind S.

Yelp
It's a fantastic pub in downtown Dallas--outdoor and indoor seating with ample TVs to watch a game. The food is excellent and the drinks even better with a nice pub-like atmosphere. The staff member, Lanita, is great and was very helpful. This was our first time and will not be our last time. Check it out if you get a chance.

Ashley F.

Yelp
Alex was such a sweet heart and took such good care of us! The Mac and Cheese was soooo good and the corn beef cabbage was great.

Allen B.

Yelp
The real deal for fish and chips. Ok so us Americans riff on chips by making french fries. Sans a bit more salt in the batter the fish (cod) was excellent! The service provided by Israel was also excellent! The Smithicks reminded me of being back in the UK.

Mrsanchezmusicman S.

Yelp
Great Irish pub to dive in Downtown Dallas. Cool, friendly vibes. Nice drink selection.

Jackson K.

Yelp
Food was rad. Ambience is pretty solid. The bartender Sam (The bartender) was a gem. Killed it. Go here if you're in the area and enjoy a dope Irish Bar.

Yelp
I came across this hidden gem while in town for a work conference. Jay was awesome! He was attentive to our needs and was very welcoming. The Reuben sandwich was yum and the Irish Coffee was impeccable! I will definitely come back and ask for Jay. Thanks again Jay and hope to see you soon! I highly recommend this pub.

Jhosua A.

Yelp
The place is nice, the food delicious and the waiter Jay excellent service with a very good spark, always attentive to what we needed
