The Best Irish Bars for St. Patrick’s Day in the Twin Cities | Eater Twin Cities

"Patrick McGovern’s isn’t an official Irish pub — much of the menu is American pub fare. But the 1888 red brick building, in the heart of St. Paul’s historic Seven Corners area, helps qualify the restaurant for this list. Once home to a whole host of 20th-century watering holes, the pub has steadily grown its footprint over the years, evolving from a gritty old saloon to its current form, complete with a three-tier patio. Irish menu highlights include beef and potato stew, fish and chips, and Irish Mac, made with a Guinness white cheddar and cream cheese sauce." - Eater Staff

The best patios and outdoor dining in Saint Paul | Eater Twin Cities

"McGovern’s is a neighborhood bar with a stunner of a patio underneath a retractible roof and this year it’s been expanded into the back of the restaurant as well. It is an oasis that just happens to serve chicken fingers." - Joy Summers

McGovern’s on a Monday? Yes, please. Purse/Yeti bingo with the gals, martini in hand (stuffed with blue cheese olives made to order by Brittany, the queen of servers), and enough TVs and pull tabs to keep the party rolling. Cozy fireplace? Check. Killer spinach & artichoke dip and a Reuben that will ruin all other Reubens for you? Double check. Saint Paul vibes at their finest-this is the spot for laughs, drinks, and making Monday feel like Friday.

Great pub with a very diverse menu. We went first for drinks only, and then came back the next day for lunch. Very delicious with large portions. Service was great both times!

We've been here before in 2019 and it was good. Our recent visit was a disappointment though. We came for lunch and the place wasn't even very crowded. Still, we had to wait a long time for everything: to order drinks, to order food, to get the food, to get new drinks (refills never happend), to get the check. There was only one waiter for the whole place. Very unprofessional. The food also isn't as good anymore. Most dishes are drowned in white gravy. And there are not many Irish beers - in an Irish pub 🤔... Probably not coming back. So many better places. No changing tables in the bathrooms, no slings for baby car seats. Sticky menus, sticky tables.

We were in from out of town for a concert. Stopped in before the show and had dinner. Amazing atmosphere fast food excellent service. I had the turkey sandwich and it was amazing!

Stopped into Patrick McGovern's after work for a quick bite. We sat in the patio area which features a waterfall and many TVs outside. Great relaxing environment. The service was good and timely. I had a Reuben and potato salad. The Reuben was large and very tasty. The potato salad was nothing special and about average taste.

I finally got a chance to check this place out. I eat at Cossetta's at least once a year and I've mentioned multiple times while there, that "I should try that place sometime." I was in town for the state wrestling tournament and we went here for lunch. This place is huge and I really enjoy the building and atmosphere. It would be a really fun place to go before or after a MN Wild game. It has a great location only two blocks down from the Xcel Energy Center. It was obviously packed with the tournament going on, but we weren't in a rush, so we didn't mind it took longer for our food. The prices are fair and the range we expected for St. Paul. They do add a 4% service fee which they explain on the bottom of the menu. I thought that was interesting and I haven't seen that before. A couple things were missing from our tables order, but the waitress made it right. I'll definitely be back and I hope to eat in that cool glass room area.

Yelp
Not crowded on a rainy Wednesday. We stopped in before an event. My husband ate every bite of the hot open faced turkey sandwich. It was very good. The Jonny says guacamole mayo. It is really mayo with a hint of green. The sandwich would have been better with either avocado or guacamole. It was just ok as is. Service was prompt and friendly.

Yelp
It was my first time here as I'm from out of town (MI). It was a Tuesday night and I'd say semi busy. The sign inside said "seat yourself" so since there was an empty table right in front off the bar by the TV. I sat there, no waitress or bartender in sight. Sat for about, 5 mins before I saw a bartender. She immediately started helping people at the bar (I get it no complaints). Waitress came and asked me what I was drinking, I went with the Minnesota Black and Tan. Spoiler alert, it tasted like a black and tan, maybe a little worse as I like Harp or Bass with my black and tans. Being as I like to try multiple things when I eat. I got the large pretzel as an app and the Westened burger. After ordering food came out in 10:47 (I set a timer), so pretty fast.. The pretzel, I liked it, it was served with a cheese sauce and a spicy mustard. Even without the sauces it was a decent pretzel. Now the burger, this burger comes with onion, lettuce, bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce. I enjoy bbq sauce on burgers. They did not ask me how I'd like it prepared, I'd say it came medium well. I tried it with all the toppings, and it's a very tasty burger, I give it a 6.8. But with so many toppings that add to the flavor, I like to try just the patty. The burger itself, was very average, not much flavor, not juicy, I give it a 5.5. The fries I liked quite a bit, crispy and fried just right (for me at least). Overall a good visit, if I am back in the area I'd come back to try other things.

Yelp
Wow--can't believe I've never been here before! We visited around 12:50pm and sat on their amazing patio. It seriously felt like we were at a resort--definitely not your typical patio. We started with the artichoke dip, and it was the most interesting-looking one I've seen, but wow--it was fantastic. So creamy and flavorful, and the pita chips and bread bowl were perfect. For lunch, we shared Dave's Corned Beef Melt. Holyyyyy yummy! The corned beef was super tender, there was a generous amount of melty pepper jack cheese, and the horseradish sauce added the perfect zing. Our server was friendly, but not super attentive. Nothing major, just something to note. There's a small parking lot, otherwise it's street parking. Overall, such a great experience--and that patio alone is worth coming back for, especially because I don't live too far from here!

Yelp
Another successful day at McGovern's for hockey day our 3rd year and had great service throughout the day drinks were plentiful and the food is always good. See you again next year!

Yelp
My husband & his dad come to McGovern's for every Vikings game & I tag along sometimes; the patio space is massive & is really cozy, even through the winter. It's fun that they decorate for the different holidays as well! The servers are usually very attentive, even when the space is busy. Their menus tend to change or be limited depending on the meal & sporting events going on, so keep that in mind. Their food is decent, though, with a wide selection for breakfast, lunch, & dinner, as well as a huge drink menu!

Yelp
Yes, great place, they had a fire a few days ago ago, but we're open and functioning perfectly! I had the Cher Buger and it was great! The service was top notch! The food was great and timely as we are headed to the wild game!! We were seated on the second floor with a great view of 7th street!
google avatar

Mark U.

Yelp
Great place to stop at before the Wild game! We went in looking for a quick bite before the Hockey game and found it packed with no seating available; the host stand told us to go upstairs where it had open seating. We found a spot at the bar and Steve (the bartender) took great care of us; told us to order quickly as the kitchen was getting backed up. Then came back to take our drink orders and kept us filled the whole time. Food was excellent and came out in a timely manner considering how slammed they were. Great game-time atmosphere that made us want to stay as long as we could before heading off to the game. Highly recommend making this your stop!

Yelp
First stop when I visit Minneapolis/St Paul! My company is based in the Twin Cities, so I fly back there every month. My flight always lands around lunchtime, so I jump in the rental car and drive to Patrick McGovern's in downtown St Paul! Entree: Walleye Sandwich ($19.50). I've tried several of their Irish dishes and they are authentic (I lived in Ireland for almost a year), but I keep coming back for the Walleye! Perfectly grilled, on a grilled Hoagie bun. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The Sandwich does come with a Side. I've tried all five (Fries, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Cottage Cheese, Chips). Skip the Cole Slaw! Potato Salad is my choice. Chips are similar to kettle baked, so they're good. Cottage Cheese is hard to screw up, and Fries are decent. I'm deducting a STAR because the Sides are not that special. Service: Always fast, attentive, and friendly! Ambiance: It's a HUGE place with indoor and outdoor seating--and even in winter, the outdoor seating is completely covered and cozy. The waterfall outside the west windows is nice. Parking: I'm GIVING BACK A STAR because they have their own free parking lot. Parking in downtown St Paul can be a hassle and expensive. Overall: I stop here every month, so obviously, I give them my HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating!

Yelp
Wow! Great place to stop to get a bit to eat! Came here for lunch and had a great experience! I got an old fashioned, and it was pretty good. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and omg it was good! The potato salad was also to die for! I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
My friends and I visited McGoverns for st paddy's day celebrations this year and it was definitely the place to be! We got there early (3pm ish) so that we could get a table which definitely helped because the bar got CROWDED as the day went on. Drinks were reasonably priced. It was a bit hard to order drinks once it got busier, but I don't think that's out of the ordinary for bars on a holiday. We got hungry mid afternoon and ordered some food as well. We were pleasantly surprised how good it all was! The mozzarella sticks were crunchy and had a great cheese pull, and the chicken tenders with fries were whole chicken breast served with a side of bbq sauce. The bar space itself had lots of space with multiple different rooms (including a terrace area and a tent). Super fun and will be back next year!

Yelp
We chose a random restaurant with burgers and they did not disappoint. We almost left because of the prices despite the food being pretty basic. $17 for a chicken wrap is bizarre, but we took a chance. Also a little odd that there weren't waffle fries, but they definitely made up for it with those fries that look like they've been in grease that's seen it all and fried some of everything, those fries are friggin delicious! And their ranch sauce, I'd literally drink it. I got two to go. And I don't even dip my fries in ranch! But I had no idea what else to eat it with so the fries were the winner and it didn't disappoint. Our host was awesome and patient, but also on it. We went around 4 and it was pretty empty so it was quiet, it was also a Thursday evening so it made sense. It started picking up I would say around 7ish. They did turn on the fire place which was nice. We unintentionally sat under the tv and noticed about halfway through that it was pretty dusty. I feel like that should be dusted, but I guess a little extra flavor never hurt anyone. My Baja burger, lemonade, and side of fries came up to around $27. The burger was pretty good, but not really memorable.

Yelp
We stopped in after getting picked up from the airport and I was amazed at the size of the place! It looks like a normal restaurant/bar, but walk to the left and it opens up to a cool atrium!!! It rained the day we were there and the roof louvers kept the intense rain out! It was great! The food was delicious and seasoned perfectly!!!! I highly recommend this place for hanging out or a casual dinner! Beautiful ambiance!!!!
google avatar

Allexa S.

Yelp
Went on a concert night, smaller menu so don't have your heart set on anything from the normal menu (no wraps, slim pickings on dinner plates) but we got the shredded pork sandwich and the spinach artichoke dip chicken sandwich and both were good!

Deborah C.

Yelp
Hey anyone, I'll pay to get the recipe for the dinner rolls served at McGowan's , I love them so much, they are most delicious I've ever had and they are just great with the wonderful homemade soups they serve, please someone tell me how to make those because I live in California and only get to enjoy them when visiting family on st Paul, thank you so much.

Yelp
Nice, clean Irish pub. A tad on the expensive side. One beer, one coke and two cups of soup (turkey dumpling and chili) was just over $30. The chili was good but &8.50 for a cup is a bit much.

Stacy R.

Yelp
The encounter that was had with the owners daughter, when being directed to park in the lot for a local event, has me never wanting to be a patron in this eat ever again. She was rude, vulgar and all around unprofessional. Not at all how an owner of a business should act when representing her family business. If this were an employee, acting this way, they would be fired! #nolongerapatron

Yelp
The outdoor patio at this place is awesome! Love the flowers, the decor, it's all very nice. I went here with my mom, sister, and grandma the other day. It was around 2pm but was super busy. I believe the waiters were short staffed because our waiter and the other servers were running around. I felt really bad for them. The Irish fries were awesome. It was basically cheesy bread, but with really good seasoning. I ordered the pita sandwich. It wasn't my favorite. The chicken was cold, but the cheese was melted? I honestly wasn't sure if it was supposed to be served hot or cold. It was mediocre. They also messed up my mom and grandmas order by giving them the wrong salad dressings. My sister ordered the chicken salad croissant and it was really good! Overall 5/5 for ambiance. 4/5 for food. 3/5 for service.
google avatar

Tanya K.

Yelp
We came here before a Shania concert at the Excel center and we were very pleasantly surprised with how much seating was available (there's an upstairs), the menu, and the service. Our waitress was efficient and the service was prompt. It was extremely busy too. I was also impressed with it being a major event and busy that they still offered the full menu. The sandwich and fries I had were pretty solid and the prices decent for being downtown!
google avatar

Robin V.

Yelp
Went to Patrick Mcgovern's for St Patricks Day. It was the worst service and experience ever! The bathrooms were totally disgusting. At 11:00 pm they came to tell us they had to move everyone (a ton of people) on the top floor downstairs, so they could clean. As we were moved like cattle we arrived downstairs only to be told that we were being exited directly outside into the cold with no reentry. I will never return to this establishment, and they should be ashamed of their service, hygiene, and customer treatment!
google avatar

Yelp
Mandate Compliance Surcharge huh? Haven't seen this since the COVID restrictions. A staff member told us that the higher-ups won't say what it's for.... They're apparently told to "phrase it a certain way" when customers ask about it. This is an incredibly sketchy way to get an extra 4% from every tab, especially when there's no warning of it ahead of time. Avoid this place and go elsewhere for a $9 beer.

Yelp
I've only ever been to McGovern's to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but I've been coming for 3 years now and it's definitely the spot to be to celebrate the holiday! The restaurant itself is spacious, with a front bar and seating, heated patio bar and seating, plus a back bar and seating - they even add a heated tent and port-a-potties to accommodate during the holiday! Beware that it get's packed quickly, but the drink prices are reasonable ($24 for a seltzer & 2 specialty shots) and the music is fun. Only watch-out is that it's normally cash only and it's crowded so it takes a while to get a drink/go to the bathroom/etc. Will be back to celebrate again - and maybe I'll even make the trek for a pre-Xcel meal!

Yelp
I wasn't expecting to love my take out from McGovern's so much today. I stopped by on my way home from work and was craving turkey. If you didn't know, this is the place for all things turkey all year round. I ordered the simple turkey and Swiss sando and a turkey garden salad. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is bc it's expensive, $16.50 for a sando and fries, but it was so good. They're carving your lunch out of an actual turkey that has been roasted to perfection that very day. Very fresh ingredients. The salad could've used croutons but again, with that turkey, I didn't really need anything else but ranch and lettuce. It was also quite huge. The squishy bun that comes with the salad is quite decadent as well. I didn't take a photo bc I didn't think it would slay me, but I'll be returning!

Yelp
First time visiting and it won't be the last! We stopped in before a concert and were seated immediately. Our server greeted us right away and was so friendly and attentive. We started with a round of drinks from their specialty menu - highly recommend! For food we went their bacon burger and the turkey Rachel with fries. The cheese pull on the Rachel! Everything was super fresh, so well seasoned. I just wish I had more room in my stomach, the portions were huge! We ordered another round before heading out to the concert, and our server again was right there when we needed her! They had a variety of 80s/90s music playing while we were there and it was just a great experience overall. You can expect to pay between $40-50 a person with two drinks. The booth we sat in was super comfy and the tables were clean and well stocked. Can't wait to stop again and try out some of their other popular menu items!

Yelp
This is always a great place to hangout for food, drinks, sports and especially green beer on St Patrick's Day. I haven't been here in about 10 years and the main area still looks the same, but now they an outdoor area to the left when walking in and is covered and has heaters above the tables. I would say the heat was pretty intense where we sat. The food still looks great and there is a ton of seating.

Yelp
Was in search of a late meal on a Thursday night (8pm). Surprised to find not many places open that weren't serving Italian. Since there was football on, decided to go sit at the bar and order some food and adult beverages. Can't say they have a heavy pour at all, kept asking for less mixture in order to have some.e influence of the vodka drink I requested. Three drinks in I gave up asking. Onto the food. Its an Irish pub but it's warm outside so decided to go with meatloaf, a nice heavy meal that will tell me a lot about the chefs cooking the food. I start with Wisconsin cheese curds, really good. . Then the meatloaf came out...even the bartender laughed as he said he has never seen that much on one plate before. As the picture shows its a mound of bread on bottom, mashed potatoes, brown gravy smothering the two meatloaf slices and potatoes. Here is the problem, as good as it looks there was no flavor. NONE. I added salt pepper and repeated. No flavor. It was tender and the potatoes were the right amount of lumpy creamy goodness, but not much flavor. The place served its purpose but I see why others don't rank it high for food quality. Bartender was great to talk with as well.

Megan J.

Yelp
A comfortable pub with nostalgic wood paneling and brick walls. Everything mildly sticky. Peach old fashioned was delicious. Entrees were bland and needed salt and pepper on the sandwich, burger and coleslaw. The fries were great and the Alaskan dippers were tasty, mostly owed to the punchy jalapeño tartar sauce.

Heidi B.

Yelp
Food is always good, from The Turkey and the Irish offerings make it difficult to choose. The Fish and Chips come with perfect fries and coleslaw. The very friendly wait staff also makes you return. An Irish Pub is simply a warm and welcoming place to be.

Robin P.

Yelp
First time at McGovern'a and it will not be my last! Meet for lunch on the patio and just loved the feeling and atmosphere of this place. I ordered the the blackened chicken salad, it was wonderful and very large, it was also y dinner. usually I am not a dressing person but the dressing served on the side was perfect! Staff very good and attentive, checking our our meal and drinks. Bonus parking behind McGovern's is free but you will need the code from staff to exit.
google avatar

Yelp
My friends and I all ordered drinks, all of our drinks were terrible and made incorrectly, even a simple margarita on the rocks. However, all of our food was great. I really enjoyed my turkey pot pie. Prices aren't too bad either
google avatar

Yelp
This place has gone down hill. I use to love coming here. Went in and they had only a "event menu" which is less choices. I think the "event menu" was an excuse for them running low on food. I ordered a platter my usual on Sundays and they couldn't give me that order cause it was not on the "event menu". So i decided to order wings which were on the menu and they said they did not have any wings. I ordered onion rings and they were undercooked. My friend also ordered a turkey platter and everything on it was cold. Price for a captain Morgan with coke cost almost $10dlls barely tasting the morgan. Staff also seemed not on a good mood. I suggest heading to tom reids instead.

Christian A.

Yelp
Wow. Where to begin....Mediocre place - food was ok but pressured to drink when my beer was half done and wouldn't change the tv from the local news to a big 10 game. Apparently Too busy...a joke - go somewhere else.

Dylan R.

Yelp
My group was attempting to park in the back parking lot when the owners daughter came out screaming rudely at 2 vehicles including ours to "leave or move the hell over" she did not give us any context as to why or what's even going on and we were not directed to any specific parking spots so we just tried to find a spot as Fast as we could. she came over later and I just mentioned what just happened and that she could've spoke a little nicer about the situation and she told us we could leave if we didn't like the way she acted. my entire group agreed we will never go back just because of the way she acted towards humble customers that literally just showed up and were there for 2 seconds hoping to just get directed to a spot politely!
google avatar

Jill R.

Yelp
This used to be one of our go-to places before and after Wild games. Went back yesterday and it was horrible. The only thing positive was our server was good! Everything else was bad. Dirty menus with crossed off items in marker. NO cheese curds or Walley sandwich? This is Minnesota!!! A martini (served with straws) and wine in a plastic cup? Servers and runners look like they just got out of bed. The "famous" cold turkey sandwich had very little ingredients and the bun was as dry as a cracker. The ingredients in the Rachael had very little turkey. So disappointed!

Yelp
I've frequented here on and off for food and drinks throughout the last 10 years. Went for a nightcap with a friend and ordered two speciality cocktails- an espresso martini and their version of a winter Paloma. It was about 11pm after a MN Wild game, but it was pretty quiet and we we're seated at a table. The waitresses dropped our cocktails down and they looked like shots in cheap plastics cups. Not what you would expect for a $12 cocktail. She circled back asking brusquely if we wanted food and I politely said no thank you, but asked if it was possible to get a real glass for the espresso martini and was told curtly "no, it's event glassware only." A little surprised to hear that since we were seated at a table, but we tried the drinks. They were fine. She circled back again asking if everything was okay and I mentioned we were just really still thrown off by the $12 drinks in this glassware (after even politely asking for different earlier). And she replied sorry but it's event glassware and walked away. Again we were seated at a table not walking around. Overall, will never order a nicer cocktail again here. Stick to beer or rail drinks. If a customer asked twice for a real glass for their expensive cocktail, give it to them or don't charge full price when glassware is an important part of the drink. I sent a photo to my friends and everyone was jaw dropped laughing that they would serve nice cocktails like this, especially after a customer mentioning politely twice they would prefer a real glass. Waste of money. I don't want to drink an espresso martini like a shot. Sorry. Photo to show.

Yelp
Generous portions, good food, and a nice cocktail/mocktail/beer list. Good service too.

Yelp
Looking for anything turkey? This is your spot. Nice patio seating. Good servers. Parking lot around back. Close to Xcel center for events.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in here to watch a soccer match and grab dinner while passing through the Twin Cities. Staff was great and we liked the food. Had the Cajun pork chop dinner, potato skins, a few beers, and a Moscow mule cocktail.

Yelp
Had the best weekday lunch with my husband! Sat on the patio . Our server Jesse was the only one working and was working hard!! She was amazing! She recommended great food, was fast and friendly. She was serving 10 tables plus the bar at one time and never made it seem like she was busy. She was amazing. The food was also freaking amazing!! Best turkey sandwich in Minnesota hands down!! They also got new French fries on the menu that are 10/10! Thank you Jesse - you deserve a raise !

Yelp
Food: 3.25 out of 5 Services: 4 out of 5 ‍ ‍ Ambiance: 4 out of 5 Price: $$ Detailed Review Food: I had the 7th Street Burger with fries and a Irish Mule for dinner. The portion size was perfect and the food was delicious (I really enjoyed their fries) After finishing my burger, fries and pickle I was satisfied, but didn't feel overly full and didn't need a to go box. Service: The waitress we had was friendly and took care of us. I don't have any complaints on the server or the amount of time we had to wait for our food. Ambiance: The restaurant was clean and has a ton of seating. Not only is there indoor seating, but they also have an outdoor patio (covered by a retractable roof), and they also have a roof top patio. For music they were playing some 2000s classics. My buddy I went with said the place was packed during Saint Patrick's day and was a whole lot of fun! Price: Most meals were under $20 so the pricing isn't bad. With 2 adult beverages and a tip, expect to spend about $$40-50 a person here! Overall Rating: I would eat here again!

Yelp
Second time here, this time for lunch, wow! ~ The Turkey sandwich is so delicious and tasty with plenty meat and fries! For sure is a great place to eat in Saint Paul!

Lynn L.

Yelp
I totally love the patio space at McGovern's, it's wonderful. The food is pretty good but the music... during the late afternoon, the place was full of families and the music was blasting. We could barely hear each other. It ruined the experience for me. We asked the staff to turn the volume down, they said they would and didn't. Read the room, McGovern's. When the place is full of families, set the music accordingly. We're looking for background music, not to amp up the excitement as a young bar crowd would.

Yelp
In St. Paul for business and my hotel is just a block away. After checking in the valet attendant recommended this place for a nice lunch. I ordered the fish & chips. The fish was 3 strips of cod beer battered and fried. Served with creamy coleslaw and seasoned fries. The breading on the fish stayed on even when I cut into it. I don't like when the breading separates from the filet. The coleslaw was sweet and creamy. Malt vinegar was provided on request.

Yelp
On vacation my family and I picked this place to go to and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was amazing this place was decorated for Halloween and it was so cool to see that. Our waitress Kelly was phenomenal she couldn't do anything more she was spot on and super pleasant. The food here is also amazing for appetizers we got Alaskan Dippers and Wisconsin Cheese Curds both plates were fried perfectly and those cheese curds might have been some of the best I've had ever the cheese pull from each was spectacular, Entree wise I had the Turkey Melt and that was also so good everything blended so well. If I'm ever back in the area I will be coming back.

Large bar / pub restaurant. They have your classic Irish pub foods, I got the Irish stew which was ok, but a good price and exactly what I wanted when I came in around 9pm. They have a good selection of beers & cocktails and range of food. I sat in the bar area and the waiter/bartender was very nice and attentive. If you're in the area looking for a casual spot to drink, watch a game, grab a quick bite, it's a solid spot.

Yelp
Have been maybe a dozen times for a beer, always cold and the bartenders are great! Finally ate lunch for the first and second time in the same week. Both times the staff were exceptional, really impressed with how they handled the lunch rush with all those 6-10 tops. My water was always full and the server was never far. The food was good, classic Irish American bar food. I enjoyed the fish and chips, really great fries. McGovern's is a 7th Street classic, beautiful patio, great staff!

Yelp
I loved going to McGoverns before and after Wild games so naturally I thought that I would watch the Wild game this past Friday down there. Very disappointed in the staff by many not wearing face masks and letting customers walk around all night with no face masks (see photos)

Yelp
Who you callin Turkey?? I'm nacho turkey!! This is some jive turkey--actually. It jives SO well. Ok, I'll stop. If y'all didn't know, this here post hockey game Irish Pub actually specializes in turkey. They roast them fresh every morning and it's bomb AF!! Not to say their Irish food isn't great (their Irish stew is my fave in all of the cities) but their turkey dishes are where it's at! Pictured: Spiced Turkey Nachos -- Fresh tortilla chips loaded & baked with fresh BBQ turkey, Cheddar, tomato, onion & green pepper. Salsa & sour cream on the side. If you think there's too much cheese on there, well...what does that even mean??

Yelp
We went here when there was an event that we didn't know about. But we did not realized that changed the menu. The event menu was small but had okay diversity. The issue was the food was not great friend said super greasy burger the fries were not good. I ordered a single beer and the server brought me 2 saying the bar back had poured two you can have it. Never said it would be on the bill so I was confused when I got billed for both. Not my fault they messed up should have gave it to someone else as I would not have ordered a second overly priced beer. Ambiance was a loud sports bar vibe. Is you can't get in anywhere else I guess it would do.

Yelp
In from out of town. Tried this place. They have a great patio area, service is fast and courteous. Only issue with this place: they got a massive fly problem on the patio. We were attacked the entire time there by biting flies. I know it is an open patio but they need a fly killing machine desperately.
