There was a guitarist outside and the outside seating has heating. This place is close to a lot of other bars so on weekends, the place can become very lively. On that particular weeknight, it was chill and a good spot to simply hang out. It was also half off pizzas that night. Though the salmon flatbread is listed underneath the pizzas, note that the discount doesn’t apply to it. Credit cards accepted. They have happy hour deals on most nights.

Solid happy hour selection. Food can be a little greasy but the price and location is definitely worth it. Located in the heart of Hermosa Beach pier, Patrick Molloys offers a different type of happy hour options that you won't find elsewhere. I ordered the boneless bites with mango habanero and Buffalo cauliflower. The sauces on the wings and cauliflower definitely take the nurtrients out of the meal but they were absolutely delicious. My Buffalo cauliflower had a lot of Buffalo sauce, so I recommend to ask for light sauce. If you are looking for a great atmosphere to get a drink and small bites, Patrick Molloys is the place for you. On Friday nights they have live music and with the many TVs they have inside, you won't miss that Friday night sport showdown.

Our waiter was really nice He was really good at splitting up our bills and he was really patient. It was a good atmosphere with music playing and tvs to watch. The food was great.

Great spot for a drink or bite to eat!

We stumbled in here completely by chance on our last night in LA. Sat down just before a band was about to start. And when they started… my god, what a blast! We laughed, cheered, and toasted like crazy. Fresh beers appeared out of nowhere (well, they came faster than lightning from an absolutely stunning girl who had everything under control). All in all, a fantastic ending to a great vacation in the US. Hermosa and the random Patrick Molloy delivered 10 out of 10! Thanks for top-notch entertainment and superb service!

We got here at 9:30pm and we immediately sat ourselves, outside, no waiter to sit us, no host, and at that, we walked into the place to get 3 shots of expensive tequila, paid upfront, spent $40 for 3 shots and even after we paid, no waiters came and now it's 10pm and no one has came to ask us 3 ppl if we want any food or anything so for that, I give a 1 star experience. The fire is nice tho! NOW after being here, now at 10:39pm, a server (the manager) came outside to ask us if we wanted anything after we went inside to say something and we definitely ordered another shot and chips and salsa for $20 additional and the manager seemed stressed but he explained how the kitchen was closed! But he can get us chips and salsa! Otherwise they need signs outside letting ppl know about the misunderstanding they are giving cuz no one knows this unless they ask! As the business owner stated below. It's a bit confusing but it's not the business owners fault who replied I'm sure it's just the overall establishment that may not know how some ppl feel walking into this place after hours. Chips were salty and salsa was good! Not enough for 3 ppl! Def wish they had refills for free!!

Came with my dad for brunch. It was still good with fire on the table. Great to people as the Santa Stroll was on this day. The service was good and food was made to order. My dad had the chicken and waffles and I had the corned beef hash skillet. All good. Great vibe. Becoming a favorite locations.

So, I've been to Patrick Malloy's a few times for music, drinks, dancing and MAGIC! Okay, so no magic... I'm in my 50's but in good shape physically and mentally 12-24 (age-wise), lol. My point? It's my crowd, my tunes. Music I like, drinks that everyone likes and a good time - that's garners at least 4 stars in my book. The coveted "5th" star? It's named "Patrick!" I'm Patrick! 5 stars, fun place.

We stopped in for a quick bite and some games after a walk on the strand. It's very clean inside, ample seating. Our server was polite, pleasant and very attentive. The food was delicious. Fresh hot pizza, the fires were crunchy on the outside and soft of the inside, the burger was cooked to our request with a soft bun. We even took our toddler and he was able to sit in the high chair and watch the games also. I recommend stopping in for a bit .

Have more help ! People are walking out during march madness! Heaters , all but 2 that I seer are gone when its chilly .

Rolled in here for breakfast and ordered a few items. Breakfast burrito was pretty decent. Pancakes were good. Food tasted fresh prices were OK. Good service nice atmosphere lots of TVs playing sports. Great place to sit outside at the beach, taking some sun and eat some food I would definitely come back and eat here again.

Pizza: 2.5. Came by on a Thursday looking for drinks and food and saw that this place had All Day drink and food specials on Thursdays. Sat at the bar and ordered a $7 draft stein (bartender said their steins hold 22 oz) and later a 1/2 price pepperoni pizza. Pizza was a little delayed in coming. I was hungry but, unfortunately, I've had better cheap frozen pizza. Cheese was baked into the crust and was not gooey at all. The crust was hard and flavorless. If it was good, I would've eaten it all right there. Service was very good. The bartender was efficient and always seemed to be smiling. The ambiance is comfortable. They had TNF on through Prime Video and later there was an entertaining live band. I've been to this place before and I like its location and layout. Stopped here around 10-ish on a Friday night with a friend, and ordered one drink on the patio, only to be abruptly informed by our waitress that it was "last call." Unsure why this was happening--maybe some serving restriction on the patio? We closed our check, yet couldn't help noticing that those who arrived after us were still being served after this supposed closing time. It quickly became apparent that "last call" was merely a signal of our waitress' departure--not the bar's. Deciding to give the bar another chance after my first watery, wee-sized drink, I ordered an Irish coffee, what should have been a foolproof choice at an Irish pub on a chilly evening. Unfortunately, what I received could only be described as a disappointment--served in a glass so small it barely qualified as a shot. A tip if you go here: limit your drink order to wine or beer. You might, with some luck, receive a glass that matches the price.

The food here is delicious and the drinks are just as good. Service is great and you can sit inside or outside, which is really nice since it so close to the water. When we arrived there was not many people but as the night went on if got a little more crowded but that didn't stop the waiter from his superb service.

Great location, great spot to people watch if you sit outside the patio. It's located near the pier. Food is your typical bar food that's fried and enough to fill your belly. Service is a hit and miss, last time we went the waiter appeared to be tired and dint want to be there, and before that our server was happy and she as very friendly. Overall it's a great spot.

I remember I visited this restaurant one time a year ago in the summer of 22', then I decided to come back recently in the summer of 23'. The first time I came, I was seated outside, and I really enjoy the outdoor seating because I can look at everything going on in the boardwalk. The atmosphere is pretty calm overall. I ended up ordering the Cali Burger w/ fries. The burger was really tasty, it had a lot of flavor to it. The fries were also pretty decent too. You can't go wrong with ordering that. (4.5/5) I have more memory on my most recent trip to Patrick Molloy's. I ended up sitting outside again. My waitress was very sociable and friendly. She made me feel welcome. After a few minutes of deciding what I wanted to order, I ended up getting the Philly Cheesesteak w/ tater tots (since I had fries the previous time). I was only a tad bit upset because this order wasn't as tasty as the Cali Burger and fries. The cheesesteak was alright, but I feel like it was overall dry. Not overwhelming dry, but not juicy. I found the tater tots to be a little bit better than the cheesesteak because they had more flavor. Even though the tater tots were good, the fries are better, certainly. (3.5/5) With this restaurant, I would recommend that you check this place out if you ever have the chance. I would recommend my Cali Burger order; I wouldn't recommend the Philly Cheesesteak order. I'm sure this restaurant has plenty of other good-tasting items on their menu. The service is good; the seating is good. I only visit the boardwalk in Hermosa Beach during the summer so I probably won't be back until the summer of 24', so in the meantime, I hope my words helped!

This was my first time at Patrick Molloy's on this beautiful sunny day in Hermosa Beach. We got to sit anywhere, so we sat outside. There were plenty of umbrellas to shield us from being baked. The menu has plentiful choices, I had a no carb, no sugar Anne's Cucumber Ginger Cider, the poutine with battered fries (you can also have them with tater tots), we also got the fish and chips. The food was delicious and generously portioned, and our waiter was very nice. You may be wondering why only three stars. I shall explain... We were sitting towards the inside, on the other side of a wooden bench seating and tables. Some women with two dogs were sitting on this bench, behind my friend. One dog stayed on the ground, however, the woman sitting on the bench brought her large dog, I think it was a labrador, onto the bench beside her. Their waiter was fully encouraging it, playing with the dog, and clearly flirting with the women. As dogs will do, he shook himself excitedly, causing all his hair and dander to float directly into my friend's food. I could see it shining in the sunlight. I quickly shielded my dish with a napkin, but it was too late for my friend's. My friend was repulsed by this and ended up having to leave behind his fish and chips, he had only eaten half. We HATE wasting food, especially at $19. I asked our waiter to ask the woman to put her dog on the ground and she begrudgingly did, saying "Well, they could have just asked and I would have taken care of it". I said "Well, it's just common sense." She snidely replied "Oh, common sense, common sense!" She was just another entitled idiot in need of attention. As much as I loved the food, service, and ambiance, I think dogs should be kept on the ground. Nothing against dogs, it's the owners that suck. Maybe give them some water, but for sanitary reasons, keep them on the ground, because I doubt people want to eat dog hair and feces.

Austin is the best. Very entertaining and great friendly attitude. Monday happy hour deals are fantastic deals. Great time at Monday Night Football. Lots of prizes to be had.

Great location. Good place for date night. Love English and Irish beer and ale. Always great spots for beer and pub grub. Tons of seating, televisions with different things playing. Food options are many.

If you're a coffee lover, you will LOVE this drink. They gave me a free sample of the Frozen Irish Coffee and they got me HOOKED! So yummy. I literally come to this bar just for this drink. AMAZING! 10/10 recommend

Visited here with my cousin who recommended the fish tacos, and they didn't disappoint. Our server was very pleasant and attentive and answered the couple questions we had, including the type of fish the tacos were made with, Cod! I did have a great IPA to start which hit the spot on a hot day. We were only eating it as an appetizer, so we shared the two tacos and chips and salsa and it was just right for the two of us. The tacos were nice and hot, and the salsa provided for the chips and tacos was nice and spicy, just like I love it. All in all a nice experience, right at the pier, great for people watching if you sit outside, which we did. Can get busy on the weekends, but wasn't too crowded on a Friday afternoon. I'd love to try other items next time I am in SoCal!

Went here on last Saturday to watch US vs England in World Cup on Hermosa Pier. About a group of 7 stopped in for a couple morning pickle backs and beers. This place was great , easy in and the atmosphere was great. Bartender at end of bar when walked in was super friendly and just really made for a start of great day. Place was crowded but service was spot on and at the end ... prices for this crew was so reasonable. No jacking up the prices for the event , no hassle and smiling happy people. Just love this bar and will see you again soon Must stop in at Hermosa Beach !!

A large group of us were together and didn't want to wait to get into Baja Sharkeez so we decided to go here. Service: Slow. One server was doing her best and was nice. Her co-worker was rude and stand offish. No menu was offered nor did we see a QR code to scan. No server. Nothing. We drank. That was it. The Dj was ok played a variety of music but jumped between too many genres. Once he got you going, he switched to something total different. Overall I was disappointed. Will never go back.

Absolutely unacceptable! If I could give Pat Molloy's zero stars, I would. The experience my family had here was beyond disappointing, thanks to the unbelievably rude host. We simply asked if we could change our baby somewhere other than the bathroom since there isn't a changing table in there. Her response? We could not change him on our outdoor table and needed to change him on the bathroom floor. We completely covered our outdoor table with blankets and a changing pad, and asked those around us if anyone minded and they all said not to worry at all and they understood, yet she still came up to us and told us no, and then rolled her eyes at us. It's clear this establishment has no consideration for families with young children. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's outright discrimination. While the rest of the staff seemed pleasant enough, this host's behavior completely ruined our day. If you have kids, steer clear of Pat Molloy's. They obviously don't want your business.

Best place to watch Monday night football! Love this place it's super chill! We came to celebrate our friends birthday and Austin is so attentive and makes sure everyone is having fun! And Cole was taking care of us so we never had an empty drink! Ohh and at half time they have this game where you throw a football into the hole and if you make it you get a free beer! They also have a raffle at the end of the game.

Nice little bar with good service. Both from the host and our server. Excellent cocktails. As a margarita connoisseur, I don't say this lightly. Their 3 Heat Margarita is one of the best I've ever had. Was seriously impressed. Nice chilly and delicious glass of rosé for my first friend. Will be back to try the food.

I've been to Patrick Molloy's a few times now, and my favorite was definitely on St. Patty's Day. It was crowded inside but not to the point where you didn't have space to move. The bouncers were really friendly and the cover was very reasonable compared to other places on the pier. They played really great music (some hip hop and throwbacks) and almost everyone was dancing. The last time I came on a Saturday night and surprisingly, it was pretty dead. There weren't a lot of people inside and the music could have been better. It didn't seem like many people were dancing other than our group. Also they charged a cover which they didn't seem to do before so that was a bit disappointing.

Football season packed + GREAT SERVICE! It was slammed on Football Sunday but the service DID NOT LACK! It seems as though they were short-staffed, however, the ones working did not blink. Smooth, fast service for busy Sunday football. There's nothing like a vibrant, lively atmosphere while watching sports. High vibes and great service. I really enjoyed my experience at Patrick's Molloy's! Francesca have such great recommendations and made my friends first time here super special. I have come before when it was during dinner and really enjoyed the chill vibe.

You come for the food you stay for the staff! Everyone here is wonderful. This is our regular Sunday brunch spot! Austin and Carlos are two of the kindest people and the reason why we come back all the time! They have become friends and they welcome us and our crazy kids with open arms every time we come!

The food was phenomenal but the real treat was the wait staff. Christina was caring, sweet and humble. Her personality shined through her table side banter. I urge anybody looking for a good meal to come by Patrick Molloy's and sit in Christina's section.

My friends and I came for a birthday brunch for another friend, and we had a great time. Cole was our server and we was amazing and very attentive. We were also helped by Jared and Frank at the bar and they were so wonderful and kind. I would definitely come back. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious.

I enjoy coming Monday morning with their amazing bartender Gerry always in a cheerful mood! Their all day Monday happy hour is great, I would recommend anyone to come for a bit and drink!

Bears vs. Packers game and we checked out a few places near the pier. We passed on Silvio's, only because it was packed. Lol. We sat inside here and it was more spacious than I perceived from the patio view. This review is based on food only. No drinks this night although I needed one after this painful game. The chicken sliders were excellent and Happy Hour Wings special were tender. Service was friendly but a little slow.

Austin nailed it. Along with the rest. Good nfl viewing. If you ask for a certain game they will do it.
