The Best Wine Bars in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"Effortlessly chic and dripping with simple European sensibility, Patron Saint is New Orleans’s newest, coolest wine bar. The bar and its sister pizza tavern next door, St. Pizza, combined with the reopened antique furniture store Merchant House on the corner, makes for one of the coolest blocks in the LGD and a dreamy way to spend an afternoon. Patron Saint owners Leslie Pariseau and Tony Biancosino have created a clean, beautiful space with a progressive wine selection to match, not to mention a great menu of snacks." - Clair Lorell

We visited on a random Monday afternoon. We smelled pizza. It drew us in. The atmosphere was wonderful and light. The owners were amazing and even brought over some pizza. The wine was delicious and a fun experience! Thank you Patron Saint!

Leslie and her team are amazing, such a beautiful neighborhood place, a true gem. Layout is amazing. Tons of unique wines to explore that you really won’t see anywhere else. And the staff has the expertise to guide you and your pallet to the perfect glass or bottle. Tons of snacks, and amazing pizza next door. Lovely.

Great atmosphere with delightfully pleasant staff. Very good prices on bottles, cans, and tasty cocktails they make in house. Lots of stuff I haven’t tried/seen before. I especially enjoyed a bottled fermented pineapple beverage. I got to-go pizza next door and ate it here as the vibes were way more chill. Thanks y’all!

Great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and light snacks or pick up a bottle for the road. Fun selection and friendly/approachable staff available to help guide you. Very happy to have Patron Saint in the neighborhood!

Google
Great vibe. The wine selection is fantastic. I am a wine professional and they have great wines from all the companies in town. Mine too, but it's very diverse. Friendly conversations with guests and staff alike. Go, and get pizza next door and enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.

If natural wine is your thing, this is THE spot in the city. I go every weekend and they always have a fun and freshly curated selection of literal mouth watering wines that are far from boring. Grab a bottle to go or sit on the corner and drink with fellow wine loving weirdos

Delightful! I sat at the long table that was used as a bar. Had a lovely glass of wine, (by the glass). Drew behind the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. Nice chill atmosphere, good music, conversations going on but not so loud as to be a cacophony of voices and a range of light bites if you wish to have some food. Lovely place to have and easy to get to. Wonderful.

Yelp
Super cute wine bar! We went in to buy some wine and decided to stay and enjoy a bottle. The lady working recommended a delicious bottle that we all enjoyed. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Quaint new wine bar with delicious pizza you can bring from next door! We happened upon this spot after walking by and glad we stopped. The two ladies were wonderful with recommendations! We enjoyed the red and white.

Yelp
I was completely charmed the rainy night we stumbled into Patron Saint. We were sopping wet, killing time waiting for our ride. We were greeted by two lovely ladies working there and were so happily surprised by the options of wines by the glass. We had a delicious wine from a maker I recognized, which always feels good. We unfortunately only had a short amount of time and cannot wait to come back again next time we are in town! I've been spreading the word about your cozy wine shop, well done Patron Saint! With love from, San Francisco!

Yelp
Busted in here from the dumping rain and stayed awhile because of the service and then the wine. Well done people of Patron Saint- you've done well.
