Really great kosher dairy breakfast lunch spot! Missing some basics like pancakes but the options we got were good. Would be great to have mimosas also

I just had lunch there with a business associate and we decided to split the bill. She wanted to use Apple Pay and so had to go to the register to pay. When she came back so told me that she already added the tip so we left. While we were waiting for her car the waitress came out and basically asked us where was her tip! We told her that the tip was left on Apple Pay but she said it wasn’t. Then she asked for a signature so that she could add a tip later. Not feeling comfortable signing again I just gave her cash. I have been to Pats many times- in fact 3 times this week, and I don’t think I should be accosted outside the restaurant for a tip! Left me with a bad feeling.

DO NOT GO HERE!! They are a joke and the food quality is horrible. I ordered pasta and it tasted absulutley disgusting filled with oil and butter no pasta sauce at all. Even comparing to other kosher establishments this sets a new record for low quality food. I asked the server about other food options as I hated the pasta he told me he can change it to someting else but he granteed I would hate it as well. Oh boy was he right the poke bowl was from hell who cooks in this kitchen? The chef should be replaced immediately. Do Not GO HERE!! Chef needs to go to school and learn to cook and making basic pasta is defenitly above his pay grade and talents.

Love this place. Great food. Excellent service professionally managed by the in-store manager Oscar who is off the charts. Highly recommend

Yelp
RUN away!!! This review is for the Pat's Cafe aka nightmare cafe. Where do I begin, we sat down for a lunch only to notice 2 cockroaches running across our menu. We called for help, but the staff acted like they did us a favor to even come and "take care" of the pests. We were moved to a different table, the manager was notified but he didn't bat an eyelid not was he apologetic. We ordered an appetizer and entrees and waited 40 minutes until we inquired about the status of our food. The manager could care less, our waiter didn't even stop to ask or check in on us as if we were dining at a fast food hole in the wall restaurant. The food came out besides our appetizers and we advised the manager who again was not phased. My entree did not taste good and it was cold and soggy. I asked to try a different option to which the manager replied how makes no sense how could you not like it, everyone else likes it so how do you like it. You'd think after everything we went through he'd have the decency to provide decent service. Rude and disgusting establishment. We're longtime Pats customers and will not be coming back to this dump.

Yelp
Haven't dined there since they moved from across the street. The location is in the Marc, which is an event space. The dining room was very open. I didn't see any booths or partitions, which was a bit annoying when every other table seemed to have a birthday celebration with requisite song sung by the wait staff. The meal itself was nothing memorable.I had the ribeye which came out rare (I had ordered medium rare). I returned the steak and they brought it back cooked medium. The Seabass was very good and cooked correctly. The Chicken Tangine was very flavorful. Service was very attentive-no issues. Understand that it's kosher so pricing is going to be higher. I expected a better dining experience.

Yelp
I ordered the chicken Milanese and it was alright. The piece was large, but very thin. It wasn't as filing as I thought, and I'm a smaller woman. The texture was excellent for how thin it was. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the crispy breaded part remained crispy until the last bite. In terms of flavor, it was nothing to brag about. All the flavor came from the bread crumbs, which mainly tasted like salt. Even adding some seasoning - like turmeric, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and Italian seasoning - would make a huge difference. The ketchup on the side of the dish was left untouched. There's no reason for a $40 chicken dish to rely on sugary ketchup for flavor. I got vegetables as a side to the dish. The eggplant was salt-flavored (inedible). The red bell peppers were somewhat soggy. Cooking it on a higher heat would make a huge difference. The mashed potatoes were okay, and the green beans were limp. The service was great. The table's order was taken 10 min after sitting, which was perfect. The drinks were brought promptly, and the food was brought to the table soon after. If you are coming during the colder months, bring a warm coat to wear in the tent. I sat in between 2 heaters, and I still wore my coat because of how cold it was.

Yelp
Their food is so so good! Had the sliders, bbq chicken salad and my husband got the steak. Amazing food and service. Will come again

Yelp
Great kosher food. Good vibes. Nice outdoor environment. Prices are good as well. If u are in pico area def give them a try

Yelp
Not so good. Had a hamburger and others had salad and for the price don't bother. Not sure what the issue was. The service is great.

Yelp
Pat's is my favorite kosher restaurant & has the BEST steaks. Definitely get the Tuscan steak with the delicious green sauce - it's very tender & has no fat. It's my go to every time. Love the ambiance here, especially since they moved over to the outdoor patio during COVID - they have beautiful twinkle lights set up everywhere & heaters for every table so you won't get cold. I love going here for special occasions, including my birthday!

Yelp
This is my go-to for high end in the area. Classy, clean, and good food. Service is acceptable, good sometimes, okay sometimes. But the outdoor atmosphere is much much better than the indoor restaurant that felt cluttered and tight. I'll be back soon for sure!

Yelp
Pat's Restaurant - Los Angeles, CA Regarded by many as the "reigning Queen" of Kosher, Pat's is one of the most desired restaurants for locals and out-of towners.

Ilana W.

Yelp
This restaurant is just simply the best. They never disappoint. I've literally been there hundreds of times and never had a bad meal. And it's also so pretty! I would go there every night if I could!

Yelp
Pat's really is a place to enjoy a great occasion. I went with two friends the other day, and we really enjoyed it. Given the pandemic, we were seated outdoors in a converted parking lot, which they did more than I could ever imagine with it. There was still a great ambiance between the trees, lighting, and appropriate distancing. But, there's also the food!! Out of this world: I had the whole Branzino, egg rolls, and the lemon dessert (i forget the official dessert; next time i will write the review right after i eat there.) Everything was outstanding. The waiter we had was brilliant at how he interacted with us: he knew how often to approach the table, the suggestions he made were on point, he had a great sense of humor. This always adds to the experience (in addition to the dining companions!). A great experience, which I wholeheartedly recommend.

Gail R.

Yelp
Lovely ambience but our food was sooo disappointing. Roasted chicken dry and tough and tasteless. Not juicy. Steak was chewy and had to sent it back to order something else. Servers were very nice though.

Shiva M.

Yelp
Pat's is my FAVORITE Kosher restaurant in LA! If you haven't been, you should definitely check it out. The vibe is cool, the food is consistently tasty and the bread pudding is a sweet ending +plus they have a great wine selection! Hope you enjoy your experience at Pats.

Margo T.

Yelp
My review is delayed but still relevant. Dined here for my birthday and expected a great experience as I had in past years as a customer. I've been going to pats for over 20 years and I must say it's gone to shit! I'm not sure about the hype about sitting outside you're essentially parked in a parking lot. Waiters could care less about you no matter how much you spend. They made multiple mistakes on our order. Food came out bland and over cooked. I'm honestly shocked at how it's gone downhill. There's no one to even tell this too, and I doubt they care. For the last few years customer service has taken a dive and they feel like they're the best in town but that's no longer the case. Service is ALWAYS important. If you have an important family event pick a place that cares to have you dine there
google avatar

Josh N.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Tables were fairly spaced out which I liked a lot. Good place for a nice dinner with friends or family.

Yelp
It's tough to have steak with my Jewish friends, as Kosher restrictions makes finding a steak very very difficult. But alas, enter into Pats, and Pats got your back. First impression: clean restaurant, friendly waiters, families eating together. To my East Coast crowd it's feels like Friendly's with nicer food and a bar. Food: Good! Steaks weren't drenched in truffle butter or anything but after eating my ribeye I felt good! The food you're eating makes you feel very clean, on contrast to eating a ribeye at a regular steak house and having a STEMI on the way out. Bread pudding is a must, order it immediately since it takes ~45 mins and get it with a cup of coffee. I'm a little sour about the drinks I received though: I ordered a Manhattan and they got away with serving me whiskey with some seltzer.

Yelp
Pats is my absolute favorite restaurant! The food, service and ambience are unsurpassed! I have Always had an outstanding and incredibly tasty meal there whatever I order! All of the wait staff work SO hard and are wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Go and experience the night of your life and a huge treat! Run don't walk!

Yelp
Exceptional service by the staff. Prompt response if placed on hold for pick up. Quickly seated once arrived for reservation. Their mini tacos are phenomenal for appetizer. I also get their kale salad.

Yelp
I always have an enjoyable time at Pats. Their food is consistent and always good. They have great service Miguel is always kind and helpful. I love the short rib tacos, bbq chicken salad, tortilla soup, and steak. I highly recommend this restaurant and grateful to have such quality in La.

Yelp
I may have reviewed Pats Restaurant some years back. The first time I experienced Pats was for my Wedding Reception in June 1993. I loved the food then and 26 years later it is still incredible. The service is always amazing and the food is to die for. When you first arrive order the bread pudding. They make it fresh and it takes over 30 minutes to make. I ordered the candied Pastrami. Melts in your mouth. The Ribeye is cooked to perfection- medium rare. You can cut it with a feather it was so tender. Pat and Errol Fine are the owners and are incredible people. If you are to try to go here, make a reservation since they are always fully booked. My mouth is watering thinking about my next visit, whenever that maybe.

Yelp
I started with the walnut avocado kale salad. It was very tasty. I asked for the dressing on the side but they forgot but luckily out the perfect amount of dressing. The bread was warm and the pesto butter and olive tapenade was very good. I also recommend the fresh mint hot tea. I ordered the special which was the black cod. The sauce and fish were excellent! The mashed potatoes were not very good but tasted better when I put the pesto butter on it. The chocolate soufflé was a big hit.

Yelp
Pat's Restaurant is a superb eatery. If you are looking for quality, fresh and delicious Kosher food, Pats is a MUST visit. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the setting is high-end and respectable. I go for the flavorful food but stay for the excellent service and ambience!

Yelp
One of a few kosher steakhouses. Classy restaurant with good food and nice decor. They offer not just steak but fish, pasta, salads, chicken and other things you'd expect of a nice steakhouse. We started with the braised ribs sliders, in a taco shell instead of a bun. The meat was a bit overcooked and dry but the flavor was good. Also had the avocado rolls which again were too dry. For entrees, I had the ribeye and my hubby had the ribeye special (different sauce, same cut). The problem was that they prepared mine with his sauce/seasoning and his with mine. I know this because the doneness of the meat was supposed to be different for each. Ultimately, they had to remake his and cook mine more which was a bummer because everyone was done with their food by the time we got ours. The flavor was good though. Capped the night with a bread pudding that was again a bit too dry! They definitely have the potential for better food but might have just gotten it wrong that night.

Yelp
Beautiful outdoor experience. It is tented so it's a closed off atmosphere, but nice lighting and heaters. Very high end. Lots of great choices and desserts! Good for groups, and parties!
google avatar

Clay O.

Yelp
A great place to congregate if you love being with Jewish people, whom I do love, but $16.00 for 12 ounces of bean soup? Oy vey! And similarly overpriced entrees, salads and desserts with portions like over-sized appetizers. Never again. P.S. Loud, annoying music. Forgettaboutit!
google avatar

Yelp
The beef on the bone was amazing! It came with three sauce and vegetables on the side. Soooo yummy. Asked for medium well, it was a little pink in the middle and well cooked on the outside.... Perfect for me. The kale salad is great too. Tried a few glass of red wines, non was my fav. Love the patio and lighting they built for social distancing... such a shame they had to be closed for thanksgiving dinner. Service is so good too, thank u all.

Yelp
I've been many times and I have never had an unpleasant experience. The food & service are top tier and you can't go wrong by ordering anything on the menu as everything I've tried (probably 3/4 of menu) was delicious. In an unpredictable world it is refreshing & comforting to know you can go to Pats for a beautiful dining experience that has consistently been so for many years now. I love Pats!

Arian C.

Yelp
The service is not up to par... waiters are very unprofessional & the cooks don't know how to cook a steak... Ordered a medium rare steak, and I was given a well done steak. Told the waiter about it and he brought me rare steak instead... I asked him to cook it a bit more and he tells me "I don't like playing these games."

Yelp
Stopped by for a dinner with the group. Restaurant was very busy for the Monday night, which is always a good sign. The wine list was surprisingly limited - only one selection of the Israeli wine, nothing really upscale. However, we tried Australian Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from North Coast of California (both are obviously kosher), and both were quite good (and very inexpensive). I had Mango Avocado salad for an appetizer which was very tasty. Chilean Seabass with mango salsa and kumquat sauce was delicious - spot on seasoning, flavors in the dish worked very well. Overall, everybody in the group were quite happy with their meals. Very good service. Recommended.

Yelp
This morning I finally got to try the dairy restaurant which is now serving breakfast and lunch. I ordered the huevos rancheros and as someone who has had this dish over 1000 times in my life I can easily say that Pats version was among the top three I've ever had. The tortillas were perfectly crispy and the eggs were cooked to perfection served with a delicious Ranchero sauce, salsa and a perfectly ripened sliver of avocado. I was a very happy camper. The drip coffee was served at a perfect temperature And it was robust and smooth. My friend ordered the Israeli breakfast that came with a bunch of different salads and eggs and potatoes. A beautifully well-balanced dish. Prices range from $19 a dish to upwards of $30 a dish, but I don't think you'll be disappointed. Service and vibes are great and the food is made with respect and presented beautifully. We had a great breakfast experience here and I look forward to going back again soon and trying more dishes!

Yelp
The atmosphere is amazing; the lightings and the tall wooden doors like old ages. More importantly the food is great. Delicious and wine selection is complete and professional. The staff are fast and polite.

Yelp
I went to Pats dairy and all I can say is wow, just wow. I got the French toast which is an absolute must, the lemon poppy seed cake and the white pizza with mushrooms. All the food was A plus and the ambiance was great also. I love how they opened a dairy restaurant here. It was very much needed.

Bobby D.

Yelp
The most consistent and delicious glatt kosher steak in town. Hands down and no question. Just had la gondola and it tasted like a kosher sizzlers. Pats is superior and always delicious. Been going for 30yrs and taste has not changed.

Yelp
I ate here last Mindy with my friends... horrible service.. we ordered two steaks.. one was soooo salty I couldn't eat it.. the other one was so bloody red even though I said well done.. when I told the waiter he took it back and put it on the grill and brought it back burned.. disgusting

Yelp
Incredible food, resort level service, lively atmosphere full of laughs. What more could you want?

Yelp
One of the better kosher dining experiences. So good that I see many non-kosher people eating which says a lot. You can't go wrong with their menu and friendly staff that guides. They bring bread and 2 spreads every time (olive tapenade and pesto non-dairy butter). It is hard for me to pick a single item that I enjoy (it is all so good). Since there is no dairy it is easy to go paleo and still enjoy sauces like their chipotle mayo. Pricey but good when you want to splurge. Restaurant is very clean and white. They don't have parking but there is street parking as well as valet.

Erica L.

Yelp
I don't care for this place. I am finishing my meal here now. Overpriced for totally forgettable food. And the ambience is nothing to ride home about. I eat here three times over the last 22 years that I have lived in LA. and every time I am disappointed, which is why I am here so rarely.

Eleanor M.

Yelp
Over priced. Use to eat there once a week when they had the old location. Prices were reasonable. Now everything has almost doubled. No thank you.

Natalie W.

Yelp
Unbeleivable food and superb customer service. Thank you for the great meal!

Viewy M.

Yelp
One star for the food (dried out, too watery, under flavored, etc. etc.) and four stars for the beautiful outdoor dining!

Yelp
Delicious and upscale Kosher restaurant on W Pico Blvd. My fav. is definitely the Miso Salmon. I highly recommend it for any Salmon fan. They make it with a mandarin/orange glaze on top. This place does it right!! Get it. You won't regret it. I also like the Mango & Avocado salad. Max will take care of you at the bar and any take-out orders you have. He's a great person to work with as he is a no-nonsense type of guy that knows what he's doing and gives it to you straight! As for parking, they have valet service but I like to park on the street along both sides of Pico Blvd.

Yelp
Picture the happiest thing that's ever happened to you. The birth of your child while marrying the love of your life in Disney world. Now imagine something hundred times happier than that. That's how I felt when I bit into the Chilean sea bass at Pat's. Yes, this is Beverly Hills. Yes the food is pricy. And yes there are many other places you could go for amazing food. But I dare say there is a place better than Pat's. And if you happen to live a kosher lifestyle, you just can't beat this place. I went to eat here one night for dinner with my coworkers. One coworker ordered the miso salmon. Another ordered the short ribs. And I of course got the bass. All three of us thought this was the best meal of the week while we were in California. We even shared an order of avocado eggrolls and that dish blew our minds too. Best meal I've ever had in LA, best sea bass i've ever eaten, best kosher food you'll find anywhere. A must visit if you're in Beverly Hills.

Yelp
Simply the best Kosher Resturant in LOS Angeles. The steaks are amazing. maestro is really for two people. Order the soup and the salads. Be sure to reserve the special deserts in advance. Service is superb. Whenever I want to impress or show the kids or guests what is quality, I take them there
google avatar

Yelp
What to say about the best restaurant in LA . !!!! amazing service, price OK . recommended !!!
google avatar

Meir G.

Yelp
I have been coming here with my family since I was a little boy. It is by far the #1 kosher restaurant in LA. It is always our first choice for birthday and anniversary dinners. We also use them to cater our family celebrations and travel meals for going on vacations to places with no kosher food. If you're visiting LA, make sure you spend at least one meal here. Also, Max behind the bar is the best thing ever for traveling. He prepares the food so efficiently with such clear directions and really makes sure everything works out smoothly. I will no longer travel with out Max's assistance. He's a life saver!!
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
I have previously left a review and ate out at the restaurant at least 6-7 times Usually the portions are perfectly fine and satisfying But I was extremely disappointed to come home and see my portions which i ordered for 100 dollars to be stingy portions (Please note the steaks were perfectly fine) It was the side orders which don't make sense 3 tiny potatoes for a massive order of short ribs I am definitely going to go back and hope to see that their portions will get bigger
google avatar

Ashlee C.

Yelp
I absolutely love Pats! I believe for even a non-kosher consumer, it's somewhere worth dining often since you receive the best food, service, and ambience. Every time I eat here, it seems better than the last time. Not to mention their dessert is the best I've had after a hearty rib eye It's the perfect place for all special occasions. I highly recommend for everyone to try! You will definitely find yourself coming back again and again

Yelp
Errol F asked me to "Update" my review....so here it is. The unfortunate incident took place with Max, this is not a false review and Errol F admitted to Pats/Max's "version" of the events through a DIRECT Yelp message that was removed from this review ON 11/22/2019. There are a few things wrong here.... #1. Max should NOT have ordered the ride share to do any type of food delivery. #2. Why is Pats Restaurant Ok with the way Max talks to WORKING WOMEN? Max purposefully called a working Uber Ride Share Driver "A female dog (explicit language/that I'm not allowed to type on Yelp) who is TOO LAZY to get off the car and deliver a bag of food"!! #3. Why is Errol F calling the review a lie/paid fabrication? Owners of this restaurant, no one is paying anyone to make your location look bad, your employee is taking care of this all on his own. This indeed did take place and Errol F is aware that Max did contact Uber Ride Share for food delivery. Please stop twisting the truth on what happened. You might be able to request for screen shots of the conversation to be erased from Yelp, but there are existing messages where this location admits that this employee did order the Uber Ride Share for a food delivery and in the same message Pats also asked for this review to be taken off from the Yelp App. It's such a DISGRACE that PATS would find it ok for one of their employees to verbally abuse WOMEN by calling them a "lazy female dog" simply because he is not able to misuse a ride share service. It does not matter if he ordered it on his own account or not, he was wearing a Pats black hat, had a Pats order form along with the food delivery and came out from Pats Restaurant and back in the main entrance door. Outdoor Street Cameras are located all around this location and intersection, I don't need to lie and there is no corporation paying for this review. This establishment should not allow for their employees to mistreat other human beings or look the other way when that employee is trying to abuse any type of ride share service.
