Patterson Cellars Tasting Room Leavenworth

So glad we had the chance to come to Patterson while we were in Leavenworth! We only had an hour in downtown before we had to get ready for a wedding, and it was the perfect way to pregame 😉 The views were spectacular from outside, and the inside was nice and air conditioned. Taylor was fantastic in walking us through our tasting. He was super friendly and when the tasting room became busy, he handled it with grace and calmness, and even gave us a bonus pour for our patience ❤️ We ordered the Pretzel Bites with Mustard, which was a good light snack. We split the Sparkling Flight and a Red/White Flight. I really enjoyed most of the wines - I hadn’t had a lot of Columbia Valley wines before, but this experience definitely made me more interested in exploring what the region has to offer. If you’re looking for a great experience with great wines to boot, you should definitely check out Patterson!

Super friendly staff, and they have a great wine selection. Air conditioned, Dog friendly, upstairs section. And Frose that you can walk around with downtown. Perhaps they could upgrade their charcuterie boards by using non packaged meats.

We walked in and just wanted a glass of wine and we walked out with two bottles! Shay was so knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to describe every note in each glass that we had tried. She was a kind and patient host and was able to help us by answered all of our questions. And because of her I will definitely be coming back every time I am here 🤩

Had the frose with champagne pour over. It was amazing! Staff was wonderful. Left with three frose kits. Highly recommend!

Patterson wine never disappoints so I stopped in the Leavenworth location while there for the weekend. The wine was great, but Donna was amazing and really made the experience exceptional. Her knowledge was extremely helpful, and she made several great recommendations based on my likes. Will definitely be stopping in whenever I am in town!

This was my first visit to Leavenworth and my first time trying local wine — and wow, what an unforgettable experience! Taylor, our wine expert, was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, he connected effortlessly with me and the rest of the women in our group, making us feel instantly welcomed. His warmth and hospitality truly elevated the entire tasting — he’s the reason I’d come back in a heartbeat. The wine was delicious, the fudge was heavenly, and the overall vibe was just perfect. An amazing first-time experience all around!

I had an amazing experience at this tasting room with Donna and Taylor. I’m a red wine drinker and there wasn’t a red I didn’t enjoy. Personally I liked the Syrah the best but you can’t go wrong with any of the wines. Would highly recommend. Bring your family and friends for a worthwhile time.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Patterson Wine Cellars for a wine tasting with charcuterie pairing, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The selection of cheeses, including brie and gouda, were all tasty and paired perfectly with the landjäger and salami. The addition of chocolate on the charcuterie board was a pleasant surprise. The 5 wines we tried, including two whites, a rosè, and 2 reds, offered a nice variety and complemented the meats as suggested. The Bordeaux blend was my personal favorite, but the Syrah, Sirah, and sparkling rose were also hits with my group. The atmosphere at Patterson Wine Cellars was nice, although the space was a bit small. Despite it being a busy Saturday, our server Taylor was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring we had a great experience. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Patterson Wine Cellars for a wine tasting with charcuterie pairing. It's a great way to enjoy delicious wines, cheese, and meats while receiving excellent service. I will definitely be returning every time I visit Leavenworth. Cheers!

First stop in Leavenworth was to get mulled wine! Mulled wine has been a new discovery and a favorite at that. The owner was nice, accomodating as well.

This place called me in when I heard one of my favorite local musicians playing on the street when I walked by. I wish I could have got a seat on the patio, but the music could still be heard clearly from the inside. I tend to skip wine tasting when in Leavenworth, but this place is worth a stop off. I also like that they have the musician play outdoors so that anyone walking by can enjoy it as well. Because it was busy they were not doing tastings, but serving wine by the glass. I had a hard time deciding what to order but the person behind the counter helped me decide by inquiring about my wine preferences. My wine was tasty and a healthy pour. Not cheap, but a good excuse to rest my legs, listen to some good music at a level where it was still possible to have a conversation and enjoy a night out in Leavenworth. I will definitely make it a priority to check out the music lineup on my next visit here, but even without music I still like the vibe of this place. The upstairs area also looked inviting, I'd love to sit on the patio next time and there is an easily accessible bathroom available.

We did the wine and fudge pairing! The workers were all knowledgeable and personable. It was a relaxing and fun experience. I highly recommend.

The customer service is excellent. We have returned twice for the hot wine. In our 2nd visit we took the wine to go with our charcuterie board. Although i like to support family owned businesses this place offered everything we needed. Good place for wine tasting as well.

SO SO SO CLEVER that they have frosé during the hot summer days!! Honestly, their a-frame sign by their door got us!! We went on a 98 degree day and we were on our way to take a nap with the a/c on in our car. But this was a better option! The servers were all so friendly! They had a nice, comfortable seating area with the a/c on full blast. My friends and I chilled there for a bit and they didn't mind and were still so friendly to us. I ended up buying a bottle and it was only $20! Can't wait to pop it open.

We stopped here on a Friday afternoon for drinks. My husband got sparkling wine flight and i got the normal wine tasting. We enjoyed the views of the mountains will sipping on our wine. Also, the staff was very nice and friendly. Wine was nicee too. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is the best spot to get mulled wine in Leavenworth, argue with a wall. Cool atmosphere, fun staff who's nice and happy to answer questions. Wine came out quick and we bought the set to make more because it was so good. Worth the $3 extra to add the port into our cups!! Plus they have live music at night.

First time here! I love sparkling win and was recommended to pop by, by another winery. They were very busy so I got in and out. I had sparkling flight and I believe it was $18 for the tasting. While I did enjoy the wine, it would have been cheaper for us to get the $15 bottle to take home.... They do not allow you to waive the tasting to buy a bottle like almost every other winery I know. I would have bought the more expensive one if that one was excluded. Something to keep in mind if you visit the tasting room. The wine was good, the seating was delightful, the experience could have been better.

So we made reservations very early in advance because of a road trip we knew we were taking. When we arrived they graciously took us a half hour earlier than our reservation. But with that being said, we waited a long time for the bartender to come over. Once she did it was about 20 minutes between each of our 6 glasses. The wine was subpar. The best one being rose. The bartender was more interested in people who she thought would buy a ton of bottles. PRO TIP: they will tell if you buy a bottle they will waive your tastings .... Bullshit. I bought three bottles and they only waved one of my two tastings. Don't be fooled !!!

We've been here a few times in the past year and I love the live music they occasionally have, the two story space with balcony looking on to the main floor, and love that they have snack plates! It's a decent sized tasting room for Leavenworth. Not one of the largest nor among the smaller ones. They do tastings downstairs only but you can enjoy drinks upstairs and listen to the live music if they're having it. I like a lot of their wines but their two dessert wines and their bubbles are my favorite. The tasting fee is waived with a minimum bottle purchase. They have some simple snack trays individually wrapped in the fridge. Nothing extensive, but it is nice to have a little cheese and fig preserves when sipping wine. We've also always enjoyed the friendly service we've received here. Definitely one of our spots we always make an effort to visit when we're in town!

I was really impressed with Patterson Cellars wine tasting room. First, the wines are outstanding. The white and two red wines I tasted compare favorably to those at most top tier wineries. Friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.

I'm in the wine industry and the experience here was disappointing. The servers did not explain the wine, they were pretty much like "here is the menu, choose one". Not any mention of the tasting flights, no help on choosing a wine you might like. Ordered a cheese plate, was told to pick my cheese and then they brought wrapped crackers, a knife, a board and some jam in a jar. I am used to having an experience and a chance to engage and discuss the wine, this was the McDonalds of wine tasting. You have a captive audience, I get that but you should work harder to earn my business and show more appreciation for customers who choose to spend their money in your establishment. 3 stars for the wine, 1 star for service and nibbles.

We had a wonderful white wine tasting with Taylor! He was amazing and so much fun! We all enjoyed it very much and can't wait to do it again soon! We all sat at a table in the back that comfortably fit the 7 of us! Lovely ambiance and Taylor thank you for such a fun and informative event! -Heidi

We decided to take advantage of sunny albeit chilly day and head to Leavenworth. Well if we thought the Eastside was chilly at 48 Leavenworth was flat out cold 27!! LOL Why is the weather germane to this review? We parked and began to explore. Gorgeous day but cold. As we walk by we see people outside enjoying a drink. A gal says - try the mulled wine- it's delicious! Another table chimes in- Do it!! It's cold and so we open the door and head in. Cute albeit small but cozy tasting room. Fits with Leavenworth- a bigger space would have felt out of place. A table was open so we sat down and ordered some mulled wine. When you order, there is an option to have option to add a pour over to the mulled wine but we choose not to. I have to say, I am a little skeptical of mulled wine because I've had some that were so sweet or heavy hand with cinnamon that I didn't enjoy. Thankfully the weather influenced my decision. The result was a hot mug of deliciousness of a cold day. At first I just held my cup to thaw my hands because even with gloves my hands were cold. I had to give this a taste. Yummy! It was a nice balance of flavors an excellent choice for a cold day. I'm looking forward to trying Patterson wines. The care and delicate hand used in making mulled wine suggests their wines could be fabulous.

We went in here for a quick tasting while waiting for it to get dark to see the Christmas lights! The the tasting room is small, but there is a balcony too which is cool. Outside, there are firepits and seating. They had two tasting options to choose from- 1. you can pick any 3 wines you want and get bigger pours or 2. you can choose from one of the preselected tasting lists and get 5 smaller tasting pours. I opted for the 3 glasses and went with all white wines. Both the wine and the service were good! It is conveniently located on the main strip with the other restaurants, cellars, and shops.

Had such an amazing experience at Patterson! The wines are phenomenal and Donna was so patient with us and gave us excellent recommendations. This is now a must-stop whenever we visit.

Nice spot to have a relaxed moment away from the bustle of Leavenworth on a Saturday. I got a mulled wine, fiancé had a beer. There is a loft space with some small tables and a corner with some armchairs, plus one large table. Not a great place for a large group but perfect for couples. Woman serving us seemed perturbed when I asked her a question about what they put in their mulled wine, but there was a gentleman server that checked on us later who was very kind.

The forbidden Froze' is refreshing and delicious! Only available in the summer so get it while you can! This icy cold wine will definitely having you sipping until your brain is frozen! The Patterson's Cellars is a perfect choice to chill out and relax!

Great little spot for wine! Indoor and outdoor seating, with more options upstairs as well. Bathroom available in the building it's in in. Stopped in for a cup of mulled wine and also asked for a recommendation on a glass of white. No real food options as this is mainly a wine tasting place, but we didn't mind as we just wanted to sip wine and chat between meals. The mulled wine is absolutely delicious, and may be the best one I've had! The white wine we chose was buttery and smooth.

I loved my visit here. The gentleman helping me was wonderful, I appreciate their outdoor seating as well. I liked all the wines I tried and the last one was quite interesting and I was given a bit of chocolate to try with it. The associates were super attentive and really friendly, going alone I felt very welcome and comfortable!

Warm mulled wine on a cold rainy night...perfection. The customer service was outstanding and the wine was delightful.

We did a wonderful 5 wine tasting with charcuterie today. Our hostess Erin was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and attentive, explaining the characteristics of each wine poured & which foods on the charcuterie it paired well with. Erin told us about the wide range of wines Patterson offers. We ended up buying a Magical Ice wine whose grapes are left on the vine after the first freeze for exquisite sweetness. I would recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys wine. ASK FOR ERIN.

I really enjoyed my first tasting at Patterson Cellars! I tried their sparkling flight (which I believe was a special and may not be offered all the time), and each wine was delicious! They can get pretty busy, so it may take a bit to come pour your next wine in a traditional tasting. They also offer small cheese plates for purchase while you do your tasting. It was around $13 and was more than enough for two people. Wound up taking half the plate home! Overall, a great experience!

A friend told us to try out Patterson, they are members, and we are so glad we did. Very pretty tasting room with knowledgeable, attentive and friendly service. The wine was equally great! So happy we stopped in! You won't be disappointed!

I loved the taste of this dessert wine while walking around Leavenworth. Great place to sit down and chill. She was Very kind and sweet to us. We will be back.

Came here for the first time on a cool Oktoberfest Saturday night and we all loved it. The service, the outdoor seating (great heat lamp placement!), the live music (if the indigo girls became a cover band) and the mulled wine! Most placed don't start up the mulled wine until closer to the holidays but not Patterson, and that's why we went back. Well, that, and the amazing chocolate that pair perfectly with the wine.

Horrible experience. We came in to drink wine. They said family friendly. The chairs in the back were open and I even asked if anyone was sitting there. My kids were exhausted so looking forward to a glass with my wife while the kids relaxed on their devices. My wife actually decided not to drink after all and the waiter came by and said hurry up so we can free up the spaces since I was just having my glass after all. No one was coming in and tables were not reserved.. plus I asked about the space we were sitting at. When I confronted the worker he did not make it better. He actually said we need those places for people who drink more and it's not a space for kids to nap.. and my kids were not napping. We actually live close to woodinville and just dropped $300 in wine a little bit ago. We frequent the one in woodinville and now I'm not so happy with them. Obviously not family friendly. What a sad experience. Do not recommend.

First off, thank you for being open midweek as many others are closed. Wines are top notch, especially as compared to other WA wines we've tried lately. All the reds were excellent and the tasting room service was also great!!

Love going to Patterson tasting room in Leavenworth! I am treated as family. Even when it's busy and there are tired kids and grumpy parents; these folks are always patient and wonderful! Clean, respectful fun environment with fabulous wine - you just can't beat it! Thank you Genevieve and crew'

My sister and I visited Patterson Cellars last weekend. It was a very busy Sunday but Erin, working alone, made us feel at home! She made everyone feel welcome! We sat outside by their lovely barrel fire pits and enjoyed a champagne flight! The glasses were artfully displayed on a tiered holder. They were so good! Our favorite, though, was the Forbidden Bubbles! We left with a couple bottles, a few Patterson Cellar flutes and great memories, thanks to Ms Erin!!! Cheers!

My wife and I came here on a Saturday night. The female pourer was super nice and we had a great convo with her. We all sat outside, which I thought was the most comfortable and nicer of the other outdoor seating areas. Wine was good. Coming, and being from Napa, I'm not solid on their cab truly being a $48 bottle, especially when you can get a Stags Leap from NV for the same price.

Busy busy, but such kind and attentive staff. Ordered two gluhweins to go. Part of the deal included two chocolates of your choice. Their gluhwein is less sweet and has a stronger anise flavor than other local establishments. We enjoyed it as we strolled around downtown taking in all the Christmas lights and music.

Alex was amazing! It was her third day and she killed it :) very sweet and kind and wine was delicious! They also had AC so very nice on the hottest day! Music was all of my vibes :)

What a treat to come here I have been going to the Patterson winery for several years in the Woodinville area the Leavenworth is my first time with my daughter the wine was excellent as usual but the barista Jennie was exceptionally efficient I hope that John Patterson can recognize these people when they do a great job she was knowledgeable personable and a fun person to have weight on you I will we will continue to come back

The wine was nice. But the people working here today were incredible. The customer service was wonderful. Inviting. Relaxing. I could have sat here all day.

It PAINS me to write this as I LOVE, LOVE Patterson wine (so much I am member) but I felt I wouldn't be doing anyone any favors by NOT posting. Last weekend we were in Leavenworth celebrating a couple birthdays and stopped by the Leavenworth tasting room for a slurp (had an appointment). When we walked in there was no one in the tasting room - no customers, no one at the front, etc. Granted we were a few mins early for our tasting but it was a ghost town. I was wondering if they were even open yet... but no, we did have any appointment so whatever... so we waited around and someone finally came down to help. She quickly poured and left. Disappeared... No "i'll be right back", no "call if you need anything" no "my name is so and so and I'll just be upstairs our in the back" nothing... so we sat there waiting for the next pour for maybe 15 mins. During this time, we were still the only ones in there. People were coming in, waiting, not being helped, and leaving. I was super, super disappointed and am not in a rush to stop by that location any time soon. We'll stick with Hollywood Hill and the Warehouse. Bummer. Edit. The wine club manager immediately reached after seeing my post and went above and beyond to make it right. They truly do pride themselves on service and I know last Saturday wasn't the norm.

We had a lovely server. We had a flight each, and bought 4 bottles. They also had a non alcoholic drink for my daughter. Would recommend:)

We came here on our last night 2/5/22. The lady was very detailed and helpful on describing our wine samples aka flight. We ended taking the two dessert wines home. The only thing I didn't like from looking at the pictures on yelp, was the cheese tray. It's definitely NOT the one shown here in the pictures. Our tray only came with one slice 3 cheese, a puny jam, and dried apricots. We also got a small box of crackers. Over all, a great experience, I just really wanted that big tray of charcuterie; reason why I chose this place.

Great place, friendly, knowledgeable staff, and well managed! Been visiting few times per month since July 2021, never had a bad experience. Recommend visiting here if you ever come to Leavenworth.

We stopped in on Saturday with about an hour before close with about 7 of us and 15 mins later all 14! I had purchased two Groupons for the mulled wine. The groupon was about $20 if I remember correctly and came with a glass of mulled wine, a take home mug, spices to make your own at home and $10 of a bottle of wine. Patterson has great wine, we've been to a few locations before so I knew when I got the groupon it was going to be a good one. This was THE BEST mulled wine I had in Leavenworth and I had quite a few during this trip . I loved it so much I made sure to get the wine they used for the mulled wine so I could make some at home! The gal that helped us was so friendly and kind and gave us great recommendations for later in the night! Can't want to come back next year!

Absolutely love this place! If you love rose, whites, and dessert wine this is the place for you! The Late Harvest Roussane, the Forbbiden White, and the 2018 rose of Columbia Valley were my favorite. I also trued Blanc de Blancs which was delicious, Forbidden Rose, Cabernet- Malbec, Syrah, and Rose of Cabernet Franc. Genevive was amazing and very sweet. She was extremely knowledgeable of the wines within Patterson Cellars. This is a must go to spot within the town. It is also located next to five other wine bars within the cellar.

Fantastic mulled wine. Normally don't care for it, but husband ordered it & I tried it.... I had to get my own & had 2 it was so good.

Connor took great care of us this weekend! We celebrated my birthday in Leavenworth and started our tasting at Patterson and we all left with the Rosé. Wines were excellent and the service we received was phenomenal!

We came all the way to Leavenworth for our anniversary from South Lake Tahoe. When we went to Patterson's for some Wine Tasting, we were greeted by an employee who was extremely rude. He made it seem as if we were putting him out when we asked to do the tasting. When we finally got our tasting glasses, they were dirty and he didn't even pour 1 ounce (traditional tasting size). He would stop the pour before the spout shut off. From talking to other visitors in town, it appears that he treated many people this way. The wine was okay, the atmosphere was great, and one of the two men working was amazing.

Absolutely the very best place!!! We met the owner and he is super personable and very sweet! The Genevieve and Nicole working in here are the best!!! If you come to Leavenworth you MUST come snd do a wine testing!!
