The staff at Patton Home are very attentive to keeping the facility in great shape. I've had a couple friends come over, one saying that it smells and looks great! Erika, the manager is always approachable and willing to help problem solve issues with staff (not that there ARE any problems) and between tenants. Anthony, maintenance manager, is so friendly and responsive to maintenance requests. Eric, the newer maintenance man is eager to help and is learning the ropes of Patton Home. Polly, who is with Engage for resident services I swear has angel wings. She does so much for everyone, including making a weekly community dinner! So glad I moved here 🩵

A beautiful place. Well maintained rooms. The staff is professional and a delight. The manager, Erica, is one of the best people to work with. This place has well maintained grounds with a pretty community garden.

I lived at The Patton Home for 3 plus years now and truly enjoy it there! Not only is the building a historical building, but very unique compared to living in typical Apartments. We have activities like arts and crafts, drumming classes, transportation on buses to stores and events. We also have a community garden in which tenants get a raised garden that is a lot of fun in the spring summer and fall. There are a lot of community areas so your social needs are met. They also serve one meal a day for free! I plan on living there until the day I die ( which I have decided I'm going to live until I'm 103) so they are stuck with me for a long time hehehe. So if you are looking for a great place to live, come on by and take a look!

I cannot say what this place was like in earlier times, but around June 2022 I assisted a friend in getting an apartment here. The physical buildings and grounds have been recently renovated (new management so it sounds) and is very clean and bright. I worked with someone at the "front desk" named Dani who was excellent to work with - she was patient, and knowledgeable and spent the time to help this person get their paperwork in order, which wasn't at all easy. Overall, I was impressed with how this place assisted folks who could not afford market-rate housing achieve relatively good quality housing at an affordable price.

The Patton home, is a very clean and safe environment of an apartment complex that is well supervised and managed by Ellie the property manager at 4610 North Michigan Avenue. I'm on the waitlist for an apartment there. The Patton home has a garden area a greenhouse a secured smoking area, clean rooms, and a pool table and a weight room. I really like the Patton home.

This building is an SRO not a shelter. I do suggest nobody move in there because the new management company I'm a little bit shady in my opinion it took my mother almost 6 months to get her copy of her rental lease and it doesn't even look like a legitimate lease.

This old sprawling turn off the century building has been helping and housing the down on their luck crowd for 100yrs. It WAS nice asset for the community, but new ownership is taking away that vibe. The change has brought a cruel and profit focused spirit. BEWARE and be prepared to tow the corporate line or vigourously defend yourself. It's a shame really.
