Patty Chen's Dumpling School

The dumpling making class was fun and delicious! I especially appreciated that the class was not cancelled even though a few other people ended up not attending. Marc could have easily cancelled the class. I have signed up for events in the past only to find out that there was a minimum size that was not shared, so when I arrived, it was cancelled because of low attendance. Marc was a great teacher and had so many stories that made the class a great experience. It would be great for a team experience, as well as fun for a group of friends. All of the details, like rolling pins, were well thought out. It was a great afternoon.

Marco made it easy to learn the techniques of making dumplings. We had a great time and got to know each other and share our experiences. The food was all so tasty and I look forward to trying to make my own dumplings at home.

Went here at part of a 13 person work outing. Patty and Marc welcomed us with open arms, and you can tell how much they live food, cooking, and especially DUMPLINGS. They have a very personal approach to group teaching which is very personal and informative. We had a great time laughing, assembling and eating dumplings. Would definitely recommend for small corporate outings which are much more interesting than your basic bowling/paint/movie company outing.

It's a worth-of-visiting spot! They offer a lot of different types of dumplings, from pan-fried to boiled, from seafood to vegetarian. If you are not a fan of traditional dumplings, they also have some creative flavors, like kimchi. I tried kimchi goyte, xiao long bao, crab ragoon, and curry bowl. (not at once, of course! haha) Curry bowl is my top favorite, not only that you can have everything in one bowl (there were 4 dumplings, bok choy, bean sprout, an egg, and the curry) but also the curry tastes like the one that I had in my hometown! I'm so happy that now I know what I can do to cure my homesickness :D

Just took the dumpling class this morning with Chef Marco. It was a team building experience for my work team. So much fun! And so much food. Chef Marco made the whole experience enjoyable. I felt like I was cooking with a long time friend, not someone I just met. All of the food, not just the dumplings, was delicious. I highly recommend this experience for family and friends. I'm already trying to plan a trip back with some friends, that's how much I enjoyed the experience. Definitely something different and worth the ride through Cambridge. Well done, Chef Marco and Chef Patty Chen! I'll be back soon.

Wonderful and delicious and great fun! Chef Marco is the perfect host and teacher. He is attentive to all guests and makes everyone feel welcome in his kitchen. We learned how to make a variety of dumplings and enjoyed eating what we created. Everyone had a fabulous time with Chef Marco and we are eager to return for our next round of lessons. Highly recommend the Dumpling School for birthday parties and for team building events, a fun, memorable, and delicious way to gather with friends and colleagues.

This was a super fun experience! Chef Marco was informative as well as entertaining. Patty was fun to interact with via video chat also. The dumplings we made were fantastic and the overall experience was great. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun time learning to make some yummy food

My fiancé and I had a lot of fun taking this class together! In the class, Marc taught us how to make several types of dumplings, which we were able to eat in addition to a few other dishes Marc prepared for the class in advance. After the class, Marc sent out a pdf with all the recipes for everything we had tried in class. We can't wait to try out the recipes! We would highly recommend this class for a fun experience to do with a friend or significant other!

The Never Ending Dumpling Party was a fun night, the food was excellent, and I learned about dumplings. Chef Patty was living in Taiwan! We enjoyed Chef Marco's banter and dumpling instructions, but I admit I was sad to not witness their cuteness in person. Patty called over the TV at one point and held up cute signs all the way from Taiwan. I don't drink and was delighted to find a NAB in the cooler along with a variety of boozy and other options. A spread of amazing dishes awaited us and we also got to eat the dumplings we made. It was a little weird to be 2 cooks at the party, so I think going with a group would be super fun. But then you wouldn't get to take home quite so many leftovers as we did! It was certainly a memorable experience, check it out if you're looking for a different kind of cooking class.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Dumpling school! We went around Christmas time and we were so luck to wind up with a private class with Marco and Patty. They were so kind, friendly, funny, and boy could they make dumplings. The food was delicious, their stories were wonderful, and the whole experience was just about perfect! Oh and the dumplings were easily the BEST I have ever had!

Did a team building event with Marc and Patty at the Dumpling school. The dumplings are amazing and I strongly suggest doing an event with them with a group. Lots of fun and learning.

Went here yesterday as a much needed break from being stuck at home and driving myself crazy. I had an ABSOLUTE BLAST. It was the most fun, authentic, entertaining cooking experience I've ever had! Patty and Mark were EXTREMELY welcoming and the enviornment and spirit of the place makes you feel right at home. The love and care put into the food shines through, and it feels as if you're enveloped in a blanket of joy. It was absolutely delicious, and I was happy to taste the freshness of the ingredients as I took each bite. They are a hilarious couple who are sure to give you an experience you'll never forget.

Fun way to spend an afternoon. My friend and I attended a class recently and really enjoyed it.
