What To Order When You’re Having A Wobble Day - London - The Infatuation

"Comfort order: Smokey robinson burger & fries. Nope. Negative. It is not happening. You know that today is, for the most part, going to be a horizontal scrolling day. Dog memes, emotional overinvestment in Twitter spats, Mark and Jez - the lot. You should know that there’s absolutely no shame in that. Nor is there any shame in combining this attitude with a cheese-covered, caramelised onion-topped, juicy number from Patty & Bun, made by your own fair hands. Because if you’re going to achieve anything today, you may as well make it delicious and burger-shaped." - Heidi Lauth Beasley, Jake Oliver

The burger was delicious, a bit salty but in a good way that brought out and emphasized the taste of quality beef. Fries were decent, BBQ wings were great but very few considering the price. Overall I was very satisfied, except for the fact that they had 3 different kinds of milkshake and not one of them was vanilla, which was unacceptable considering, at least to my knowledge, that vanilla is the most popular choice of milkshake with a burger. Burgers are not served on a plate, they are wrapped in paper and some sauce might drip if you are not careful while unwrapping. Overall service was quick, most items on the menu were reasonably priced. The place doesn't take bookings but that's understandable.

I got a Smoky Robinson Burger, chips and a cider. Burger and chips are great, cider not really good. I did not give 5 stars because of the compulsory 12.5% tip, which I was really surprised to see on the bill. This should be a choice based on the quality of the service - we aren’t in the US!

We had finished a show and we're looking for somewhere to eat. The majority of places had last orders at 22:30, and it was 22:35. Even though Patty and Bun also said last ordered 5 minutes ago, the staff welcomed us in and served us. The food was quick and delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Tried the monthly special where it was a double irish patty with blue cheese. Asked for a medium doneness, came out close to well done, but still juicy. Overall was a good, but would be better with a touch of salt. Loaded fries were good, and the highlight of the day was the ketchup. Will probably still revisit to try other options.

Generally a restaurant as hyped as Patty & Bun is destined to disappoint. However, the Soho branch did not disappoint, from the swift, friendly service to the mouthwatering food. The hand cut fries are next level crispy and the brisket loaded version are as delicious as they are straightforward - just juicy, slow cooked beef piled on top of the aforementioned fries. The other sides are also worth a try - the cheese balls were yummy, as was the spicy but not sweet chilli sauce that came with them, although there were only 4 which was a little sad...! As for the burgers - a Smokey Robinson and a Lambshank Redemption - both were perfection from the first bite to last.

A nice burger joint with great atmosphere, fast and and friendly service and tasty food. 🍔🍟 Good options for vegetarians as well. 🥬🥦 The Burger was good and the chips with the Chicken Skin Salt was first for me and it was really good. The Beef Brisket Nuggets were not good and we didn't even finish it, I don't recommend trying it.

Absolutely amazing Burgers, some of the best I have found in London! Also, definitely the best chilli sauce I have ever had in my life and I absolutely love chilli sauce. Can't recommend this place enough, Mica served us when we went and she couldn't have been more attentive, definitely a fantastic front of house. So, lovely staff, atmosphere and food. Definitely worth a lunch trip when Covid calms down.

Goto Patty&Bun for amazing Burgers, my favorite Hot Chic Chicken Burger, amd Grill Bill a monthly special. There are lunch deals, student deals all 7 days. Ask for it! Their chips with mayo is amazing too, try chicken wings if you like a stong side. Usually chips isn't part of Burger order, it jas to be placed separate at additional cost. Try their Forest Road Brewing Company IPA On tap - its a great addition too!
