TLDR: Food: Middling / Service: Good / Ambiance: Bland - like buttered toast.
The menu is varied, and expansive. They have a weekly specials menu as well. I have learned to avoid specials except in the most secure of circumstances so I chose to order off the standard menu. I received the Bavarian breakfast with a side of hollandaise sauce. It was okay, with the exception of the hollandaise sauce which was sweet and chunky, and nothing like hollandaise sauce should be. The potatoes were slightly under seasoned, in a, no matter how much salt I add, this still won't be that good because they didn't salt it well to begin with way. But the eggs were acceptable and the meat was cooked. My friend got the Belgian waffle and she enjoyed it, so maybe it is more of a Waffle House kind of place. With a name that has egg in the title, the eggs were just so-so.
The service was good, the server checked in on us several times and kept the coffee coming!
The ambiance attempts homey, which is a tall order in a corner strip mall shop. They were playing Christian music at a low volume and the table was a bit crowded with all the things that you might ask for normally being there already. The art on the walls looked like it was purchased from Hobby lobby but other than being somewhat within the same color spectrum, was disparate and felt like a bad mishmash. They have a slight bird theme, but not in a cute way, but more lackluster much like the "art" on the walls, it feels like almost an after-thought.
So to sum up, it serves breakfast, soup, burgers and sandwiches. The food is marginally good on some fronts. Overall, I wouldn't go back. Try it, maybe they were having an off day or maybe mid-tier breakfast is your thing.
