"Before the pandemic, this strip mall spot in Wheaton catered to night owls by staying open until midnight — and 1 a.m. on the weekends. Now, it may close as early as 9:15 p.m. In addition to huge plates of fried rice, the restaurant offers comforting char siu, crispy skin roast pig, soy sauce chicken, Chaozhou-style braised duck, and roast duck. Order online here." - Jamie Liu

Google
Possibly the best roast pork in the area but other foods are in a steep decline. The duck had a sour taste, the crispy roast pork was full of large bones, and the service was rather indifferent. Despite other restaurants being full on a Friday night, this place was a ghost town. This will be our last time here. Go to Full Key instead

Love the food here. Glad they remodeled years ago. You can't go wrong with their fish, lo mein, fried shrimp, aboloni mushrooms , Chinese watercrest, sweet and sour fried pork. Service is great and food comes out fresh

Google
The food is good. They also have Crispy Skin Roast Pork, roast Pork, and Roast Duck. All of which is pretty darn good. For this area, give them a try I think you will be surprised.

Paul Kee is home away from home. Food and atmosphere. Come, eat, be merry.

This is totally suck. If they been closed permanently , why said it still open on google? They should inform every one to save their time and gasoline.

Google
Absolutely delicious with a fun way to serve food and an incredible amount of variety. Recommending to everyone I know!

Google
The Wonton noodle soup and squid were authentic Hong Kong style. And Congee was delicious.

As a Cantonese I have to say this is a very bad restaurant. The materials they use is definitely low quality. And I was asking for duck leg, the waitress told me no meet on the legs. Excuse me?

Yelp
So writing another review; the food is amazing as always, but I need to stop by on the weekend. they only serve the crispy pig on weekend's now (sucks), but I had the pig intestines, and they were amazing. This place has been a go-to main stay for years. I always recommend this place for everyone.

Yelp
Wanted some canto over rice dishes and remembered this place from my Wheaton days. Got the minced beef over rice which was delicious and flavorful. They could of been a little more generous with the beef and sauce for $11.25, but it was good. And special requested the beef with egg sauce over rice since they didn't have that on the menu. This a bit bland, and I had to season it a bit more with white pepper and chilli oil. Service was decent. Very basic English was used, so be thoughtful with complicated requests or restrictions. Prices have gone up like everything else, but this place remained consistent with taste and service for the most part. Will try coming back with a bigger party.

Yelp
Excellent food. One of the few more authentic places in Silver Spring! Not the usual Americanized Asian stuff,

Yelp
Paul Kee reminds me of an old-school Cantonese style restaurant common in Manhattan's Chinatown (hanging roasted meats, handwritten specials on the wall in Chinese). The menu has casserole style hot pots, seafood specialties, congee, various noodle dishes and much more. We ordered the assorted meats and seafood pan fried noodles, beef chow fun, and fried bean curd with vegetables. Portions were huge, flavors were legit. The tofu had a slight spiciness and was accompanied by many fresh stir-fried veggies (cabbage, peppers, snow peas, mushrooms). The chow fun was not greasy and had plenty of tender beef mixed in. The pan fried noodles were crispy and softened well when mixed with the sauce, veggies, meat and seafood. Everything was yummy-comfort good at its best!

Yelp
The food were terrible i would not recommend The dumplings was like sat out over night taste really funny The soy sauce chicken was dry

Jannet C.

Yelp
We love coming here. Every time we come, we get great food and friendly service. We got a half roasted duck, shredded pork pan fried noodles, and a beef brisket, tendons rice noodle soup with wontons. The duck is roasted perfectly with crispy skin, and well flavored meat. The pan fried noodles were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, topped with fresh ingredients. The beef noodle soup, was amazing too, bc the beef and tendons were tender, and so delicious. They have the best wontons in the area. That's why we keep coming back.

Yelp
Very authentic cantonese. The roasted duck here tasted like home! The service was, as expected, but the food made up for it all. Will be coming back when I visit the Capitol again!

Yelp
This place is greasy and dirty. We found a caterpillar in our sautéed snow pea vegetables dish. Half of our family has a stomach ache after eating here.

Jamil S.

Yelp
I have eaten very often at Paul Kee. The food is excellent and the service is first class. This restaurant comes as close an any i could find in the Washington area to a New York City Chinatown restaurant in food and ambiance. Particular dishes that my friends and I like include Shrimp Dumpling Soup Hong Kong Style and Roast Duck and Roast Pig - we think of these as the compulsories because we order them whenever we go. The Freestyles include Crispy Szechuan Beef, Clams with Black Bean Sauce, Kung Pao Chicken and Chinese Veggies with Oyster Sauce. sometimes we order Lobster Cantonese with Chinese Noodles. These are all deliciously special!

Yelp
We agreed to meet friends at Paul Kee and after reading the reviews I had no idea what to expect. It seemed people either love it or hate it. There were definitely some cons. Parking is difficult though some of our friends parked in a nearby garage for a minimal fee and we got a spot in front. The restaurant has very little ambiance, but I've seen worse. There were six of us and we were seated at a round table in the center of the room. There was hot tea on the table and our water glasses were filled. Chop sticks were at each place mat but our waitress soon brought forks for those that don't use them. Our waitress was perfect, attentive, keeping water glasses full, even asking me if I wanted the "American" version of my entree. I had Hot and Sour Soup and Rich the Seafood Chowder. The soups were decent, but we agreed not the best we've ever had. Rich and I opted for the soup and then to share an order of Chicken Chow Mein. I'm glad we decided to share as the portions were huge. Our friends left with a lot of carry-out containers. I know Chicken Chow Mein sounds like a boring thing to order and I used to think it was like that awful canned stuff. But I recently rediscovered it and found that if made right it can be light and fresh with perfect chicken and crispy celery. The Paul Kee version was really well prepared and very good. It was an enjoyable lunch with great service and good food. Our waitress paced our lunch so that old friends who hadn't seen each other in a while could enjoy their meals and have a few minutes to catch up on things. It won't replace our go-to Asian restaurant but was not a huge disappointment.

Jane K.

Yelp
I ordered five items to-go after a long hike, and the staff had my order ready promptly. I definitely recommend the flat noodles with gravy! I personally like to have a bottle of sriracha sauce at home to add it to the dish. Everything that I ordered was so delicious! I also love how their restaurant hours are open til later. Will be back here again.

Yelp
As a Cantonese I have to say this is a very bad restaurant. The materials they use is definitely low quality. And I was asking for duck leg, the waitress told me no meet on the legs. Excuse me?

Parichat C.

Yelp
Seem like the restaurant gave me a dead lobster the way it tasted. The manager although nice in his tone was not worried that I was a long time returning customer for this same exact dish. Way too much money for 1 lobster with bad quality. He said he can't control anything!! Unbelievable, he treated me a long time customer like I was expendable- on to the next restaurant. Sometime for repeated long term customers you say more than "sorry"

Yelp
My family has been coming here since before I was born. It's so small and simple of a place. I don't think they've remodeled or renovated since I've been going here. It's a little bit of an outdated location, parking is cramped and there's nothing crazy special about it. The food is amazing. We come here knowing exactly what we're going to order. Every time everything has come out fresh and exactly how we like it. Service is always quick. Some of the staff is friendly, some aren't. Sometimes you'll get that "what do you want?" kind of service... Personally, I never cared. It's my neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I come in, I order, I eat and drink happy. Classic place. Hope they stick around forever.

Mike P.

Yelp
Our family has been going to this restaurant for many years now. Food: 100%. Authenticity: 100%. Customer service: 100%. The atmosphere of this restaurant gad always been sweet and homely. The food leans towards southern Chinese cuisine. Will always be coming back!!

Francine S.

Yelp
Waitresses hostile to single dinners and food average Will not return. Maybe I should stick to takeout el

Yelp
Paul Kee used to be one of my favorite staples for good Chinese food. I have been coming here off and on over the last 20 years. It is definitely a hole in the wall and it has gotten worse. We always park in the back where there is a small lot with free parking but limited spaces. You have to walk through the back into the dining room. Usually doesn't bother me. I basically grew up in the Chinese restaurant food business having worked in my uncle's businesses during summer and school breaks. I'm used to the stale smell of grease lingering in the air, used to the semi slippery floors and used to seeing the back hallways of stored chairs and supplies. But this time, the sewage smell was so overwhelming. I get that some older places are not always going to smell fresh but this was pretty awful. I should have turned around and left but I had a craving. We ordered half a duck, an intestine dish and a noodle dish. We were the first ones in the dining room but it was already more than 30-40 minutes past opening. A long time ago, my husband who also used to work in Chinese restaurants back in the day- has always said it is best not to be the first customer of the day or the last customer of the day. Not to be the first because they aren't always ready, not to be the last because the kitchen staff wants to be on their way home and may spit in your food. I really hope he was joking. But I knew it was a bad sign for a place that used to be hopping on the weekends. Eventually other patrons did trickle through. It was nice to see some of the familiar staff who have been there for ages. The dishes came out. The noodle dish was fine, the intestine dish was really yummy but the duck was pretty bad and I never complain about duck. In fact, I've rarely written a bad review, always trying to find something positive to say or not say anything at all. I know the Chinese mentality because I am Chinese (granted American Born Chinese which is different). They want to make a quick buck so they spend little on the facilities. This place was showing its age with the same tables and chairs. The only thing I noticed was that at some point they replaced the floor. I want to beg the owners/managers- do something. Reinvest in your restaurant. Pay someone to snake out the drains. Do some cosmetic updates. You are losing your customers but can turn it around. Sadly, you have lost me, I won't likely come back here anytime soon.

Yelp
*** 3.75*** There are many Chinese Restaurants in MD. I have been to several and the experience has always varied. Paul Kee has been very consistent. Anything roll, fried rice, vegetable stir fry, lobster and duck, you are good to go. Decor is old. Service is pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Bone Apetit.

Yelp
My family and I has been dining at Paul Kee Chinese Restaurant since I knew how to walk. It's one of our favorite authentic Cantonese restaurant in Montgomery County. We shared a few of our favorite items including Hong Kong Style Wonton Noodle Soup, Cantonese Shrimp and Pork Dumplings, Stir Fried Beef with Sour Cabbage, Vegetables with Sea Bass Filet, and Soy Sauce Chicken and Roast Pork. Everything tasted consistently good.

Arra L.

Yelp
A family friends brought us here twice, it's their fave place to eat on late nights. Yes it's one of the restaurants that open late nights in Wheaton area. So, We ordered wonton soup, egg drop soup, seafood hotpot, Chinese broccoli, roast duck, shrimp with lobster sauce, marinated pig intestines, and Szechuan Chicken. The food was okay, it's not too bad. The parking sucks! And the back parking Is really Nasty! Im giving them 3 stars for the food, but they will lose 2 stars for being so musty and dirty. I don't think I'm going back here. The place is too dirty for me. FYI Double check your utensils before using them- might be dirty. If it's dirty just ask for a plastic utensils

April C.

Yelp
This is a great place to gather with loved ones for family style meals! I've come here for several Chinese New Years, Christmas, birthdays, graduations, and 'just because' meals. I've tried all the popular dishes ranging from: cold meats, seafood, vegetarian, BBQ meats, etc. I highly recommend coming here with someone who is well versed in ordering Chinese food, the menu is extensive and can be overwhelming for newcomers. The waitresses can also make suggestions, but it'll be easier to communicate in Cantonese/Mandarin. The bathroom situation is in serious need of a makeover though. The hallway to the bathroom/the back of the restaurant is quite smelly. The few times I've used the women's bathroom, there wasn't any hand soap available and I had to dig out hand-santizier from my bag. As long as you don't have to use the restroom, your time at the restaurant should be completely delicious and enjoyable. The waitresses may be slow to refill your water, but that's the biggest complaint I have. The food is authentic-- you'll be full by the end of your meal and still have orange slices & fortune cookies to look forward to. Tip: Parking is limited in the front, there's a few more spots in the back & can still enter from there.

Eric P.

Yelp
Best authentic Chinese restaurant near Washington DC!! All their dishes are cooked just right with the right amount of flavor and sauce.

Kaccie L.

Yelp
This is the most disgusting tasting restaurant food I've had in the last 4 years. Chicken, eggplants, duck we're all spoiled. Only the white rice was edible. The server was dishonest and difficult to talk to; she purposely try to deceive us.

Monglinh D.

Yelp
We've celebrated every birthday at this restaurant as children and now as adults we still crave the flavorful Chinese home style cooking. Family style dining with plentiful options to choose from. The service can be a bit of a turn off sometimes because although they are attentive, certain mannerisms and language barriers can be off putting in comparison to American restaurants. My favorites (not pictured) are the salt and pepper shrimp and baby clams! Roast or Peking style anything here is bomb dot com.

Carl N.

Yelp
4.25 stars I lived in China for 2 years. If you know what you want this can be very authentic. I came with another Chinese native and although the customer service was average, the food was great!

Thomas B.

Yelp
Paul Kee has been around a very long time. I had driven by it many times, but hadn't stopped in. Why? Parking is a real issue and the location isn't great for a "hey, that looks fun, lets pull in an try it". The lunch menu was ample and affordable. The food was of great quantity and the quality was solid. I do have a standing concern with most ethnic restaurants. Other than water, very few offer a non-decafe option other than water. Makes no sense to me. And since I do HAVE to drink a lot during a meal, and can't have caffeine these places need to be MUCH faster with the water refills. Often I ask for multiple glasses for just for them to leave the pitcher. Most won't. Sad really as I have to stop eating to wait for beverage. I like Paul Kee and I think now that I have been there is a good chance that when it's meal time and I am in the area if it looks like I can get a place to park I may just pull in.

Daniel H.

Yelp
Paul Key is a local favorite for simple classic cantonese food. They are consistently reliable and delicious. They have hands down the best roast duck in Silver Spring and their barbecue dishes in general are outstanding. Their menu is smaller than some other nearby places, but what they do, they do really well.

Dinh N.

Yelp
Legit Chinese food. Try the veggie stir fry and any dish with eggplant. I would definitely go back.

Kevin W.

Yelp
Very good Cantonese BBQ pork. Nice moo shu pancakes also. Owner was friendly and personable.

Sara S.

Yelp
The food was ok, nothing special. I think the dumplings we had tasted stale and the water simply tasted bad. The sewer smell in the restaurant was really strong. My toddler daughter even caught wind of it in the middle of the meal and started pinching her nose and making a face. I was pretty grossed out myself and had a hard time enjoying the food. We will not be going back and would not recommend it to anyone. Especially when there are are million better Chinese restaurants to try in the area!

Angel M.

Yelp
The best Chinese food in the area! Unfortunately the noise next door is a little annoying but manageable. !

Carol K.

Yelp
I would definitely go to full key versus here. But it was dad's birthday and bro in law both really like the chicken here. Everything was just okay. There wasn't anything that I really wanted to eat more of or thought omg I want to come back to eat this. I also live in va and about 40 min drive so wasn't worth it. For local it's okay I would think. We ordered wonton and egg drop soups, duck, a whole soy sauce chicken, deep fried spicy pork chops, seafood pan fried noodle and one more chicken, beef? and shrimp dish. I liked the duck a bit more than the chicken. Though I only ate 1-2 pieces. The seafood pan fried noodle was decent but we only had full scallop. Parking lot is horrible. It's small, but I guess better than finding street parking. Serve was okay. They kept the waters refilled, sometimes a little hard to get their attention so had to be a little loud. There was only one other table when we got there.

Mike M.

Yelp
My go to local Chinese. Gotta love that they're open late. Their food is delicious, especially the roasted pork and crispy pig hanging in the window(also try the salt and pepper short rib... delicious).

Anthony V.

Yelp
Lettuce begin. If you were raised in the Silver Spring area and have Asian parents, this was the main spot for dinner. Other comments are right, it is outdated and the parking is a mess, but the food is just on point. I love getting the seafood intestine hotpot, fried squid, intestines with sour cabbage, and their hot and sour soup. The place is more of a family style dinner, so prepare to eat a lot. Looking for a Chinese restaurant to eat? Large family gathering? Then I recommend this place! Peace Out Girl Scouts.

Ia G.

Yelp
Have ordered and dined in at Paul Kee for over 30 years. Always satisfied with their food. Our favorite entrée to order during the Chinese New Year is the Roast Pig. Under the circumstances with COVID19, I'm giving them some slack but was very disappointed with how my 1-1/2 lbs. of roast pig was cut and packed in the to-go container. The crispy skin was separated from the meat part, overall, just not presentable to put on a plate for celebrating the New Year. I had called earlier that morning to place the order but they said the roast pig would not arrive until after 4pm. They had plenty of time to cut it properly. It was almost more like shredded pork dish.

Krystal N.

Yelp
Food is great but 3 stars taken off because of service and the whole place feels unclean. My family has been coming here for their amazing roast pork and duck during lunch for years so we know that they dont exactly specialize in good service... but this previous mothers day crossed a line. The restaurant was about 2/3 full so i could understand if the wait staff was overwhelmed. We ordered the roast pork, roast duck, along with some other vegetable dishes, but the waitress came back to tell us they were out of pork. Understandable, it was a busy mothers day, but the waitress actually shook her finger in my parents' faces and aggressively told us "If you wanted the pork you should've called before!" and i felt like that crossed a line. Additionally, when they brought the food out, they first brought just the duck and nothing else, no rice or the other dishes. It was another 5-7 minutes before a waiter noticed us calling and brought rice, but only three servings for a table of four??? come on. And when I tried the duck it was ice cold. No way it went cold in just 5 minutes on a busy night like this. We sent it back, and the same waitress who shook her finger brought it back and sassily said "Here, all hot now, happy?" The other vegetable dishes that we have always ordered over the years were also subpar that night. I guess we should just stick to early lunch here. And this isnt new at all, but since my family always parks in the back, we enter through the back door and walk by the kitchen to be seated. Every time, i cover my nose because the smell from the kitchen and seafood tanks make me retch and want to vomit. Not fun before a meal, knowing thats where our food is coming from.

Yelp
PK serves the best Chinese dinner food around! Hot and sour soup is amazing here! The shrimp toast is another appetizer I'd recommend. As for the main course, I'll list the dishes that I've had... Mapo tofu: Tofu w/ pork. Delicious sauce! I always get it. Don't be fooled just because it's not on the menu. They definitely make it! Shrimp in lobster sauce: It's basically how it sounds... shrimp in lobster sauce but with eggs scrambled in. Very good! Beef & scallop with mixed vegetables: Fantastic combination! beef is super tender, and scallops are pretty large. Comes with broccoli, carrots and peas in a salty sauce. MMMmmm Salt & peppered seafood combination: Scallops, shrimp, and squid in fried batter with salt and pepper. Pretty simple but definitely worth it. Clams in black bean sauce: The clams taste good, but they were just too small. Shrimp in black bean sauce: Shrimps are large, and the sauce is very tasty... Probably pretty similar to most restaurants, but that's okay with me. As long as it's good! Chinese broccoli: I've had better, doesn't always taste like it's the freshest around... Orange chicken: This is an americanized-chinese dish my brother loves to order. It's okay... I'm not so much a fan. I've had a couple other dishes, I remember them being okay, like peking duck, and salt and peppered short ribs, and some of the lunch dishes... but it's been a while so I don't want to write a review about 'em just in case my memory fails me... The black peppered short ribs are also a decent item on the menu, some might consider there to be too much batter on it though. **adding a couple more dishes i recently tried** Shrimp and scallop in blackbean sauce: same black bean sauce, I think it tastes great, maybe be too salty for your liking though. A very generous amount of shrimps and scallop. Seafood casserole: i'm not a fan, but my family likes it a lot. It's a seafood combination order that comes basically in a little heated hotpot. Not sure how to describe the sauce, if you've ever had the seafood pan friend noodles, it's kind of the same sauce. Roast pork with snow peas: I think it's sa siu. It's in some sweet sauce mixed with snow peas and mushrooms. The meat was kind of hard but I really enjoyed the vegetables Probably the BEST part about this restaurant is that it serves late night! Opened until 1 on weekdays and 2 on weekends!

Michelle K.

Yelp
My family has been going to this Chinese restaurant for years. They have amazing duck. I also recommend venturing out and trying the Chinese broccoli leaves. Manager has always been kind to my family.

Lillian C.

Yelp
Apparently the trick is to go in early (but not too early) for the roast pork (they call "crispy skin roast pig") because they run out regularly and it's not as good at the end of the day. Today I had to wait for 30 minutes for them to finish it (ordered around 11, got it by 11:40!!!) but boy was it worth it, SO JUICY. SO CRISPY. Their lunch special roast pig on rice is such a good deal too- you get a big box filled with rice and a good portion of pork and some yu choy stalks for about 7 bucks. How can you leave hungry?? And I concur with the terrible service other reviewers have mentioned- very brusque and not customer service oriented (like the rest of the world HAHAHA), and if you understand cantonese but they don't think you do, they're can be kind of nasty too but in that Cantonese "I'm just making an honest observation" kind of way.

Lisa Y.

Yelp
I can't believe I have never written a review for Paul Kee. We've been customers of this establishment forever and a day! This is our go to place for take-out. Everything is so good here! We got the walnut shrimp and tofu casserole with seafood tonight. The shrimp were huge and tasty! The walnuts were fresh and sweet. Tofu casserole had fresh tofu. Love this place! Can't go wrong with the whole flounder either when the meat is taken out and the bones are deep friend. The roast duck is awesome as the roast pork. Can't go wrong here!

Hollie O.

Yelp
This is one of the best Chinese restaurant in town. The food is always fresh and yummy.

Linda C.

Yelp
Paul kee has been with me since childhood. It's my favorite Cantonese restaurant ever and it's ONE AND ONLY. One of my favorite dish is their beef with sour cabbage, trust me it's super savory and tasty! Their service might not be 5 stars but it's pretty decent as a traditional Chinese restaurant. Usually I care about services over everything but their food making me care less about their services. It's very authentic and delicious!

Wanyun Y.

Yelp
My friends recommended me here and the food was great. However, I think the service is not Ok. Waiters and waitress were too "busy" to take care of you and they look so upset and no smiles at all.

Christina F.

Yelp
Been here numerous amounts of time because it is one of the only late night Asian restaurants open in the area after 11 pm. You can definitely count on this place for a late night eat. The waitresses are nice and the service is quick. Not the cleanest of restaurants and best looking, but the food is decently good. The deep fried salted pork chop is always a go to as well as duck and roast pork if they have it still. We tried the clams in black bean sauce for the first time and it was decent, but we have had better at different restaurants. Have also tried other dishes previous times we came which I will add as they come to mind... Overall, a good place to eat if you're hungry late at night. Decent food but nothing mind blowing that I haven't had elsewhere.

Anna C.

Yelp
This is probably the worst restaurant I have encountered. They are dishonest. I purchase roast duck from Chinese restaurants all the time. Beware with Paul key, they cut up the duck for you but will keep at least a quarter of the duck. I have been noticing because the box from this restaurants always seems to have fewer pieces.Today I watched the woman who cuts the duck closely, she left the entire breast meat uncutand I was ordering half a duck. When I confronted her, she lied and said that piece was from the other half of the duck. When I get home, I did not have any breast meat in my box. If I can, I would give zero star to dishonest merchant. I paid for half a duck and got a quarter of a duck. The worst Chinese restaurant. BEWARE.

Akbar A.

Yelp
Been going here for 5+ years but I probably won't go anymore. Their duck was my favorite item on the menu but their service just plain sucks. Sometimes good food can be ruined by the bad service and this place is just a prime example of that. I've had plenty of minor incidents in the past but today was it. I ordered carry out today and while paying the lady charged me the wrong order. It was only after the transaction completed that she realized she mischarged the amount on my bill. However instead of adding the difference to my card the restaurant decided to void the first charge and charge me again which meant I'm double charged until it clears. After that fiasco, while waiting for the food, there was a live drama episode for me. Some lady ordered food to be ready 12pm and they didnt have it ready by then and used an excuse that "the chef was late" which is pretty unprofessional. The whole time I was secretly rooting for her while she was pissed at the restaurant. The guy who was supposed to help her responded by yelling back at her and the whole thing was just hilarious and that's when I knew, I'm not coming back. So yeah, good few years while it lasted. Just not worth it. Sorry not sorry.

Water Method M.

Yelp
1 SALT-CURED-FISH FRIED RICE $15-$16(INCLUDE TAXES)-- only a few small pieces of salt fish, the rest was chicken (large pieces) that mimicked salted fish. About 10 pieces of chicken to 1 piece of fish. Rice was wet and soggy. (Note- Chicken fried rice is only $9.50; shrimp fried rice is $10.50.) 1 GINGER SCALLION LOBSTER$33-35(include taxes)-- Greasy and salty. Barely any ginger, onion, and scallion. However, lobster was fresh kill. When I handed server the signed receipt, she looked at me and back at the check several times. Then she asked "where's the tip?" I told her "I prefer to give tip in cash so servers can have cash immediately." But I rewrote the total on the receipt to include a little over 10% of the bill.

Yujin K.

Yelp
The best Chinese restaurant in town!! This will be our goto chineses reastaurant from now on. The service is not great but will still go

Mosart R.

Yelp
Came in the back door to use the restroom, workers were also using the restroom. The urinal didn't flush. A worker was doing number 2 and didn't even was his hands and went straight to the counter to serve food Told the manager and he said " oh it's ok he washed his hands inside" How!!!!! I was right behind him!!!! Anyways I walked out Beware of this place.

Kris G.

Yelp
ok boys, you want to know the way to my heart? PORK. yup, give me some salty, delicious pig products, and i'm all yours. screw diamonds, get me some pork. and i have just found the perfect way to woo me - the char siu at paul kee. yes, paul kee is kind of dingy, lowlit, and employs servers who are far more interested in efficiency than smiles. but let's be honest, that's any authentic chinese place. and the reason to go to paul kee is not its customer service; it's the truly delectable cantonese fare. while staying at my folks' for the holidays, a recent trip to this pork palace reminded me of just how good they are. any chinese place with chickens, ducks, and sometimes pigs hanging in the window immediately gets a vote of confidence from me for their scenes of brutality. let's just go ahead and scare away all of the neophobic picky eaters who would rather dine at pf chang's, and leave more roast pork for me. and their cantonese roast pork (char siu) is my hopes and dreams realized in pork formation. the meat is perfectly salty, yet sweet from a BBQ glaze. it's juicy and tender and melts in your mouth, yet retains that crisp bark that char siu lovers crave. let's just say it is delicious enough to make you push aside the roast duck, shrimp fried rice, and lo mein on your plate to ensure you have more room in your stomach for pork. that roast pork is so good that after we had our annual post-christmas chinese food dinner, i insisted on going back the next week for lunch. that might sound crazy, but nobody in my family objected! happy new year y'all!
