We had high hopes for this place and the food and drinks photograph well. However, the taste and quality were a completely different story. The beef stroganoff was more so a soup. The noodles were literally floating in a watery pool of sauce. The flavor was ok, but that's not what a stroganoff should look like. The salmon was very fishy and metallic tasting-a sign of old fish. The salad was drenched in dressing and soggy. My cocktail was overloaded with mint, so much so that it was all I could taste. The bread pudding had a strange, grainy texture. The lemon cake was actually very good and I did enjoy their version of brussell sprouts! My stepson enjoyed the walleye tacos. We had such a disappointing experience with our food and drinks during our first visit, the owner gave us a $25 gift card to come back and try again. We did. Our next visit we ordered the walleye pictured on top of a bed of fries. Why put a steaming piece of fish on top of fries that you want to remain crispy and not taste like the fish? Also, the fish was horrible. It tasted like refrigerator odor and the crust had an almost unchewable texture. I'm not able to eat fish right now because I can't get that meal out of my head, and the thought of it makes me nauseous. I ordered a mojito and was served some sort of martini. It was a hot day and we were sitting on the patio. I was looking forward to an icey drink with a bit of mulled fruit and mint. When I questioned the waitress about a possible mistake with my drink order, she told me it was a twist on a mojito. What?? I ordered a mojito, not a martini. She had my drink remade, and the 2nd version was a very good mojito. Overall, my husband and I were extremely disappointed twice at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we won't be back.
