Iconic boardwalk spot for lobster rolls, raw clams, & beer

"Paul’s Daughter is one of the oldest spots on the boardwalk. Currently operated by the original owner’s daughter, Tina, they serve up clams on the half shell, lobster rolls, hot dogs, and cold beer. Though recently renovated, it still has the classic signage with signature lettering." - work x work
"This boardwalk staple has been around since the ’50s, and it’s our favorite place along the water to spend the golden hour enjoying frozen margaritas and a lobster roll. They serve other things like pizza and sausage heroes, but we recommend sticking to the seafood. Maybe it's just because we can see the ocean while we eat them, but their clams seem fresher than at other local spots." - molly fitzpatrick, bryan kim, will hartman, neha talreja, kenny yang, matt tervooren
"This beachside stall on Coney Island is our favorite spot for seafood along the boardwalk. Paul’s Daughter has been around since the ‘50s, and though they have things like pizza and sausage heroes, we come here to eat lobster rolls and drink frozen margaritas for several blissful hours. The lobster roll is bright and herby, and the clams taste fresher than they do at other spots in the area (but maybe that’s just because you can look at the water while you eat them)." - willa moore, bryan kim, neha talreja, matt tervooren, molly fitzpatrick
"If you don’t enjoy soft serve, then we’re not sure why you’re reading this guide, and if you don’t enjoy soft serve at the beach, then you need to do some soul-searching. Our go-to spot in Coney Island is right on the boardwalk at Paul’s Daughter. Get chocolate and vanilla swirl in a cone and wash off in the water after a quarter of it melts all over your hands." - hannah albertine, emma, bryan kim, katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg, matt tervooren
"Pelah, a Bed-Stuy-based, Sierra Leonean baker, will be serving a menu of doubles, sweet plantain and pecan sticky buns (made from a recipe created by baker Paolo Velez), and other desserts at Daughter on Saturday, August 28th from 12-5pm. All of the proceeds benefit the non-profit organization, Zanmi Lasante, who is collecting funds to provide emergency relief aid in Haiti after the country’s recent earthquake. Check out the menu on Pelah’s Instagram page here." - hannah albertine
