As a local who has been supporting Pavement since they first opened, I was really disappointed today. After waiting over 20 minutes for our order, several people who came in after us got their food first. When I asked about it, the cashier just said, “That’s cool,” which made it worse.
We ultimately asked for a refund and left. It’s clear the team needs much better training on both order management and basic customer service. Sadly, after years of being a loyal customer, I won’t be returning.
