Sandwiches was great. Taste was perfect, ingredients were fresh. Each sandwich comes with a chips. Service was excellent and fast. Atmosphere was very clean, full of light and relaxing. We loved the sandwiches and we got one more for our dinner.

We enjoyed this little hidden oasis nestled between our nation's institutional buildings and museums. It was a welcomed resting spot to enjoy some good food and escape the heat. We had walked several miles around the Mall and my octogenarian mother really needed a break. Lots of light and open feel. I bought a turkey sandwich which was fresh and tasty, and even bought one to go for a friend. Recommended!!!

This café is in a great location with pleasant outdoor seating with a relaxing atmosphere. However, the service could use some improvement.

Great experience! Excellent food! Lots of different choices! Desserts are so good! Friendly staff! The place was packed and we got our food in no time at all! Their chili was so good and the grilled cheese with fig and arugula was incredibly delicious!! 10 outta 10!!

got a strawberry smoothie and it was just pure liquid, wasn’t even good. i got an eclair and it was surprisingly good, great size for $5. when i went to pay, i paid with apple pay. i was about to tip and this worker grabbed the thing from me! glared at me, then asked “were you done?” AFTER she took it, i said “not yet, did it go through, i was going to tip” she said “u weren’t done or?” then proceeded to say “nevermind..” then clicked one of the tip options. my boyfriend and i just looked at each other, that was the RUDEST thing ever, to tip yourself and take the scanner away from me??? wow. then she gave it to the other customer. didn’t say anything to me afterwards, no thank you, your all set, have a good one, and no receipt, nothing. i just walked away because i didn’t care at that point terrible service

All around a 5/5!! The pavilion cafe is so cute and makes the perfect place to eat on your way to museums. In my opinion this is a TRUE cafe. They have breakfast pastries & parfaits, lunch sandwiches & little pizzas, and desserts!!! The cafe is very cute and spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating options. The food was reasonable priced! I loved this place and would definitely recommend the Pavilion Cafe. ☕️💕

Seems like the only spot to grab food around here. They have a small variety of salads and croissants. And a great coffee selection. We enjoyed the view of the ice-skating rink from there. They also have public restrooms and a water fountain to refill your water bottle.
