On the Grid : Pavillion Bakery

"Victoria Park's Pavillion Café is so good, they opened a bakery shop a mile up the road to cater for Hackney's sourdough and delicious croissant needs. With a wide range of breads and pastries, they're super popular so be warned — they close early when they run out of bread. From the guys who also brought us Elliot's in Borough Market. Need we say more?" - MultiAdaptor

Bao, Brioche Buns and Morning Buns Are London’s Best Buns | Eater London

"A pleasing golden hue gives this bun’s secret spice away. While Pavilion Bakery’s cardamom and cinnamon buns are strong contenders at its East London shops, this delicious little knot of delicately spiced turmeric-spiked dough pulls out the big bun guns. A ray of sunshine in leavened bread form." - Daisy Meager

Love the high ceilings, the spacious interior, and that they sell locally sourced raw honey! The iced latte was so refreshing on a warm day. Pain au chocolate was alright. It's what you'd expect.

This was a cute little spot in a little street off of Brick Lane. The pastries looked delicious, but I sadly only had coffee the morning I visited. Certainly the vibe of the bakery is fun. It is bright, tidy, and has fun decor. It had the added bonus of being one of the few places that was open in the area at 8am. The coffee was delicious and it was lovely to sip it in such a cute, quiet place. Also, they made a little heart in my coffee, and what's not to love when your coffee loves you back?

Unique service because they managed to offer the worst Americano I ever had. They have two temps for water, room and boiling point. Nothing in between that could make it ideal for human consumption. They want also to satisfy the customer by filling the cup to the very top, with scorching coffee. Perfect plan if you want to end up getting boiling liquid all over your hands and clothes. The lid also is paper, and with 100C liquid inside, yeah, it starts dripping coffee from the sides either you move or not. I will go back. 🫡🫡🫡

Ice latte was okay. Main problem was the employee, who did not have the decency to say hello, or remove his headphones, or not answer a simple question about the contents of a drink without being patronising. Very odd interaction, saved somewhat by his colleague, at least he treated us like humans and not an AI chatbot

Nice spot to hang out and people watch, sit outside and enjoy your coffee with excellent croissants and pastries.

Croissant and oat Latte were great. Sit outside for good people-watching, great location to visit all the surrounding brick lane and Spitalfields area.

Amazing place! I come here frequently for the dal paratha and turmeric buns, and I absolutely love them. They're always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying them!"

Nice quick coffee and pastry to kick start your working days. Perfect spot for the people working around Brick Lane. They also sell coffee beans from the Origin Coffee. Nice service as well.
