"If there’s one thing that can transform a good vacation into an unforgettable holiday, it’s splurging on a room with a view. At Régent Petite France Hotel & Spa, all 75 spacious, tastefully decorated rooms look out onto the River Ill. They also feature marble bathrooms with rain showers, for when you need to actually venture outside. In the morning, guests can enjoy a copious buffet breakfast on the terrace overlooking the canals, then spend time at the spa before exploring Strasbourg. Come evening, grab a drink at the Champagne Bar, or make a dinner reservation at Le Pont Tournant and enjoy dishes like fillet of cod with hazelnut butter, and roasted deer with mashed pumpkin."

Régent Petite France (Strasbourg, Grand Est) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In Strasbourg’s Petite France quarter, the Régent is housed in a 17th-century mill where ice was once produced for the entire city. Traces of that history remain in the preserved cast-iron wheels and machinery on display, while the hotel’s 75 rooms and suites each carry their own character, some with balconies over the canals or views of the Covered Bridges. With its riverside terraces, spa, and refined interiors, the Régent offers a stay that immerses guests in the most atmospheric corner of Strasbourg." - Tablet Hotels

The whole experience at The Regent was wonderful. At 1st I was a bit disappointed that there was not a room w/a balcony available, but our room 210 was amazing. It's on a corner, so it had amazing views in 2 different directions, over the canals, in a perfect part of town. The windows open completely, so you can stand and look over, as though you're on a balcony. The room was spacious, with a nice sitting area. The room was refreshed every morning and evening, and the coffee/tea area was nice. We didn't eat at the hotel, but found a delightful Brasserie 116. Since we drove and had been on a longer vacation, we used a laundromat near by on the 1st morning, and walked around the quiet town during the wash. Parking in the outdoor lot at the hotel was perfect. I would highly recommend the Regent!

We can well recommend this excellent hotel.|From arrival to departure the staff were smiling and welcoming.|Right in the heart of what is really such a small old town area the views are delightful.|(Recommend junior suite facing water.)|Room spotless, modern and bright. ||[The cost of breakfast is relatively steep if you have no desire for a large meal to start the day. There are small cafes nearby for the ‘petit’ dejeuner. We loved Potager.]

Last week, we stayed at this hotel in Strasbourg and really enjoyed it. The location is excellent – right in the middle of the old town and surrounded by plenty of nice restaurants, cafés, and shops. Everything is within walking distance, so you can easily explore the city without needing transport. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Check-in was quick and smooth, and they gave us good tips on where to eat nearby. Our room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The pillows could have been better, but that’s a small detail. It was a bit warm in the room at night, even with the air conditioning on, and opening the windows didn’t help much – something to keep in mind during warmer months. The only thing that could be improved is the shower. It had a handheld shower head but no proper wall mount, which made showering slightly awkward. The hotel’s restaurant was closed during our visit, but the menu looked very promising. Breakfast was available, though we felt it was a bit expensive for what was included. Despite a few minor things, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back.

Very nice hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, making it easy to relax after a full day exploring the city. The staff provided excellent service, friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. ||The location is perfect, right in the heart of Strasbourg’s beautiful Petite France district, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the famous cathedral. ||Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit! :-)

We had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. They charged our card twice – both before arrival and after – and later claimed we had made a double booking, with one marked as a no-show. The hotel never mentioned this at check-in, which they should have if they truly believed we had booked twice. We only discovered the issue afterwards, and they have since refused to correct it, taking more than €1,500 without justification. We had booked a suite, but in reality it was just two separate rooms with different numbers, one of which we never used – a waste of space. Breakfast was good, and we appreciated being able to bring our dog into the restaurant, but overall the experience left us feeling misled and taken advantage of. We will not return.

This is a very nice hotel in the heart of the Strasburg tourist Area known as petit France. The entire staff was very friendly and professional, especially Maria in the front desk the hotel offers convenient, valet parking and easy access even though it’s in a restricted pedestrian area. My wife and I had dinner in the bar area which was very nice. the food, the service and the view of the canal Was wonderful. Also very quiet and private. Like Maria in the front desk, Evan in the bar area was friendly, professional, and efficient, both always with a smile. I unequivocally recommend this hotel.

We visited Strasbourg in 2016, and we were captivated by the area Petite France. We were not disappointed-the location is fantastic. Upon check-in, we were upgraded at no charge to a Junior Suite-a real treat! The room and the overall property are up-to-date and very clean. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful and professional. The valet parking is easy.

Google
Definitely a 10/10 for location and we had a room in the ‘annex’ with wonderful views of the canal. Nice best, good sized room and well appointed (modern). Parking not cheap (40/50 euros indoor/outdoor). It didn’t feel a particularly personal service (having come from hotel d’angleterre in Geneva it was a shock!) but it’s definitely a lovely hotel and decent value. I didn’t try breakfast or the spa, as out of time, but I did need to use my own pillow as the hotels wasn’t perfect. However that’s a minor gripe and it was a lovely stay
