Jason Atherton Turns Michelin Star Pedigree to Victoria Palace Bar | Eater London

"Named after the Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova, this 20-cover bar atop the Victoria Palace Theatre was opened by Jason Atherton in partnership with Sir Cameron Mackintosh and is pitched as a convenient hub for theatregoers and local workers. The drinks list, created by Social Company bar manager Jay Doy, emphasizes gin — including a hidden cupboard holding over 38 varieties from around the world — and features a signature cocktail, 'The Dying Swan' (gin, elderflower, citrus, cucumber and herbs, £9) theatrically presented with a music box that opens to reveal a rotating ballerina. Open throughout the day, the venue serves croissants and coffee, snacks, and for lunch and dinner offers speciality panini, charcuterie and cheeses." - Adam Coghlan

This place is not a cocktail bar, far from it. The covid-style seating arrangements are wholly inadequate and overpriced drinks out of tins poured into plastic cups hardly evokes the impression of class the name suggests. Beware of the overzealous security guards. Avoid.

Amazing happy hour - any 2 cocktails for £14! We also ordered the hummus and spiced aubergine jar and bread. Bread was served thinly sliced but warm - a real treat just before the show Beautiful music and gorgeous atmosphere Our bar tender was so helpful and cute 😊

average at best. poor customer service. servers/bartenders more interested in texting and each cakes behind the bar. whiskey sour served in a plastic like tumblr, not impressed.

Absolutely terrible service. The two bartenders could not have been more rude.

Really lovely little place to have a drink before going to the theatre. Really friendly staff. Great service.
