Paw Paw's Donuts

I was excited to try their breakfast sandwich after reading all of the rave reviews, but unfortunately, I think I got a dud. I got a sausage, egg and cheese, and everything on it was cooked to smithereens. The bread was burnt, the sausage was dry and crunchy, and the eggs had burnt/black spots as well. I’m assuming the cook top was too hot. It has potential to be great, so I understand the good reviews. The chipotle mayo on it was delicious, and the rest would be tasty if cooked properly, but I just happened to get a bad one today. The service was nice and the grits were good, and like I said, the sandwich has potential, so I’ll try again another day.

Have been a fan of Paw Paws for sometime now but have never had a chance to visit their storefront until today. I decided to wake up early and head over around 7:45am to pay them a visit. The service alone was 10/10. For starters they host you incredibly well from beginning to end as you order your food. The hospitality was unmatched and you can tell it’s a value for this business. Pawpaws Donuts understands that people love to be treated with kindness and respect and they do it well. Not only that but their donuts are incredible, but y’all already knew that!

We had a great visit here. Kids loved the donuts. The savory food is on point (get the sandwich is the add on sausage patty). The coffee is awesome.

So happy to have Paw Paw’s Donuts in the neighborhood, we were missing a good breakfast spot! As regulars of Paw Paw’s at the farmer’s market, we love the brioche donuts and we always crave their delicious sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. Their donuts are amazing with a slight crispness on the outside, the right amount of sugar on the outside, soft pillowy dough center, and unique homemade fillings.

Sweetest donut shop, with the nicest staff! Donuts, egg and cheese sandwich, and latte all incredibly delicious. We will definitely be back again!

Best donuts in town!!! The seasonal filled donuts are my absolute favorite, peach, strawberry etc. but the cinnamon rolls are also top tier! Everyone who works there and the owner are such sweet lovely people. Really glad to see the shop open after eating the donuts for a long time at the farmers market. A must try!

My wife and I absolutely LOVE going to Paw Paw's to grab a delicious sausage breakfast sandwich on those yummy brioche buns! We go every weekend. Their filled doughnuts are wonderful and there is always some new special flavor like Peaches & Cream or Fruity Pebble Cereal Milk. 😋 The team at Paw Paw's always make us feel like family when we come in, and that is special. Their business is big on family (check out the photo of Paw Paw up front by the register). Keep up the great work!

Have been a loyal customer for around a year now. The vanilla bean donut is my favorite. They also have some great seasonal flavors such as the apple cider and the peaches and cream. The interior could use a little makeover but nonetheless the food is consistently good!

Well first let me say, the service and the dining room space was spectacular and warm but these are not the type of donuts I would go for. I'm not saying they're bad, I'm just saying I don't like them. They sell out fast so there's a customer base that do enjoy them. For me, it's the texture that is different and probably because it's brioche...which I typically love. The lemon filling was good tho...a little tart and a little sweet which was pleasantly surprising. They were soft but there's a bit of a pull and chew. I guess I've gotten use to yeast donuts. Anyway, I would still recommend them because they are unique and worth trying.

Absolutely love these donuts! They are so fresh . My favorite is the lemon . I Also recently tried the breakfast sandwich and the roll was just divine. Another place to catch them is at the crescent city farmers market. They usually sell out really fast, but if you can't make it there go check out the new shop! You won't be sorry!
