I genuinely am in awe of Chef Ziska and how well he and his team respectfully pay tribute to the Faroese flavours, ingredients, and methods and put them on bold display in this wonderful course menu. I was really looking forward to this dinner, especially since I was admiring KOKS’ book prior. I was excited to see what Chef Ziska had in store and he did not disappoint! The horse mussel with carrot and sweet potatoes, the cod, the langoustine, and the fulmar were absolutely on another level. That’s not to say the rest of the dishes lacked, they were absolutely delicious and showcased Faroese flavours and techniques proudly. There wasn’t a single dish that disappointed, it truly was a meal for the ages!

Perfect balance of great food and wonderful service! Clear why this is a 2-star, one of our best meals ever. No showmanship, just amazingly thoughtful dishes that you won’t have anywhere else in the world. The service was so friendly and knowledgeable, giving a special shoutout to our sommelier, Tobias. His knowledge and selections were perfect. His wine pairing looked amazing, just more than we needed that evening. The complexity of each dish should not be underestimated based on the pictures. Each creation seemed a labor of love. The restaurant has its own distinct style, which was much appreciated. As a couple, we selected the group table hoping to meet interesting people and we were not disappointed. Such a fun experience to enjoy amazing food sharing stories and laughter all evening. Cheers to the chef and staff for such a special evening!

Pros: visionary chef with excellent skills to back it up; impeccable service; relaxed atmosphere and good view of the kitchen; unusual and memorable flavors and textures that pay a worthy tribute to Faroe Islands; an option to choose a shared table - perfect if you want to share the experience with other guests, especially if traveling solo. Cons: the service takes long (by long I mean if you’re seated at 6 pm expect to finish around 9:30-10 pm); this was the first time I’ve left a Michelin restaurant still hungry, despite a variety of dishes; I’d swap the order of the dessert dishes as I wasn’t a fan of the candies that were served last, but I appreciate why the chef wanted to end on the same note the meal has started on. Overall, a memorable experience and a must try for foodies!

Best restaurant I’ve ever been to. Amazing service, highest quality ingredients, and incredibly creative dishes. Well deserving of the two Michelin stars. If you’re in Torshavn this is a must-visit restaurant. Price starts around $390 USD/pp.

If you will travel for a special meal, this is the place to go. At the middle of nowhere you can get the experience of a lifetime. The tastes challenge your eyes, nose and toungue. The Michelin award winning chef will even sprinkle fermented sheep tallow on your fish dish. The wine menu is a must and takes the experience to another level.

Fantastisches Restaurant, pures Geschmackserlebnis, sehr ausgefallene Speisen mit bis dahin nicht gekannten Geschmacksrichtungen. Sowohl die alkoholische als auch nicht alkoholische Begleitung passte perfekt. Abgerundet wurde alles durch einen perfekten Service. Alleine für diese Restaurant lohnt sich das Wiederkommen 👍👏
