LOVED it! I got veggie tacos and the corn tortillas they came on were super fresh and delicious. I didn’t get any drinks but the people I came with did, and they loved the variety and uniqueness. Also can’t beat the location!!!!

This place has the best Mahi Mahi fish tacos. Fried or grilled. The corn tortillas are thick and delicious. The fish is crispy when fried. I can't pick a favorite. The red ull slush are good but a bit pricey (20 bux average) food is fresh and hot. If you like fish tacos, come here. We drive 2 hours just to come here and eat.

Food, service and atmosphere were good. However the draft lines no bueno, 2 of the beers I got tasted like butter scotch due to dirty lines. Took me awhile to drink, hopefully dont get sick. Switched to cans after that.

Great vibe - especially on game day. Great location. Food was pretty good. Only negative feedback is the lack of prices on the QR code menu. Didn't find out until the check arrived that my wife's beer was $11. Just would have been nice to know ahead of time.

TERRIBLE establishment with the WORST/ stuck up customer service. We came in for the weekend stopped at this place made are way inside waited for our server (tall brunette looked middle eastern or Indian) very very rude!!!! We didn’t get menus water nothing not even a “we are busy I’ll be with you soon” nothing my and my friend waited didn’t say anything after 30ish minutes I asked her if we can get some help she said she’ll be right back, a couple walks in she greets them almost immediately with menus and water I was in disbelief we were right next to them and still haven’t got menu or water so freaking rude she knew we were right there and had been waiting. We got up and went to WATERBAR! Next door the atmosphere was amazing greeted and sat immediately! DO NOT GO TO PB SHORE CLUB if you are visiting and looking for a nice/fun atmosphere they pissed me all the way off and it’s pretty hard for me to get to that point! Good luck if you do go there

Went back during the week update: Good food. The loaded fries were amazing. Good ocean views. Great place for drinks. The weekends tend to be super loud and filled with college kids which is great. Just a warning for families.

Breakfast was delicious - very good quality & taste. Above avg. Google ratings were accurate. Food doesn't disappoint. Decor and furniture has a beach bar vibe, which is respected. Nostalgic skate & surf boards, plus great memories from pictures on wall show history of loyal customers and ties to Navy. A likely happening night spot, whose appearance may not initially impress in the light of day. But just go with the current, otherwise you'll miss the tasty food and quality ingredients being served up!

Delish crab benny. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coffee was ok. 🤷‍♀️ Bloody Mary was tasty but No Bacon!!?! Come. On. Guys. What Bloody Mary doesn’t have an olive & bacon?!? The spicy one came with an olive but the non-spicy one came with a slice of jalapeño. Um no. I want to eat my olive & bacon in my ‘Mary. 😜 ⭐️⭐️ Music was good! Loved the DJ’s transitions between the songs. Good stuff. Nice sometimes alternative songs & he was good at feeling the energy of the crowd. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was there for brunch. It totally gets busy in the afternoon & the crowd was full-on L.O.U.D. Inside (even with wide windows open) but we were inside…. Long lines to get in once we left…. And the college crowd came in and were sitting on the tables. Is that unsanitary? I was glad I came in early so maybe the tables had been wiped down from the antics of the night before & not yet dirty again. Overall a good time for brunch. Glad we were finished before the college crowd took over. 🤪

I went late night on a Friday night and there was a worker Ryan who did an amazing job making sure I was taken care of! He had a great personality and made me feel so welcome! I'll definitely be back!

Multiple terrible experiences in our last several visits... Food is mid at best. Drinks are overpriced in comparison to other locations in this area. Add to it the poor customer service and entitlement the team has and it's an absolute NO for us. It's too bad, because this was a great place in the past but it's majorly declined over the years. We're moving on...you may want to avoid having to figure this out on your own. If they want to turn it around, it has to start with the management and the servers. Staff enough people first of all. Consider hiring servers who care or at least show some level of empathy for the guests, especially when they are paying a premium and waiting unattended for long periods of time for food and drinks to be served. If the customer service was at least elevated, people would consider over-paying for the views. But no one wants to feel second rate at top shelf prices. The crowd has changed here too. It's taken on a more rowdy vibe, and may be caused by customers feeling neglected. We witnessed another customer aggressively confront a server this weekend using vulgarity. It wasn't our place to get involved, but it turned into a situation that made our group highly uncomfortable. The waitress unnecessarily provoked the customer, too. It was just ugly. Meanwhile, they have security walking the floor for these situations, but they only stood by watching. IDK. It's just not a fun vibe any longer. Add to it the safety concern nowadays when people can easily blow up and it's a big reason to just move on.

This is my favorite spot to come to when I visit friends in PB. Fun atmosphere, chill staff, and great vibes. We love checking out the goldfish races and having a good time on those nights. Big place with plenty of room that fills up quick. Definitely recommend checking the place out if you're in the area. Thanks for having us.

When looking up fun PB bars to go bar-hopping, this spot came up as being famous for their Red Bull-vodka plushies, so I immediately added it to the list! Being the first spot of the night, it was a great spot to get the night started. The drink wasn't really strong, I wish there was a bit more alcohol. It definitely gave me a brain freeze a few times as well. Being the weekend before Halloween, this spot was packed. I would recommend this spot if you're looking for somewhere and you're in your early 20s as it was definitely a younger crowd.

Yes... it was more of a brunch but i don't care it was great! They have a lot of specialty alcohol beverages, which I did not get, but they looked cool! Haha. The food was just great, my godfather suggested this place and I'm very glad he did, ambiance also amazing. They have TVs showing sports games as well! Came to get a drink with a view yesterday on my first day in San Diego. I got some gin drink that was SO SO good!!! It had raspberry's in it and it was just so fresh. I also ordered a side of French fries and got a huge basket. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Would totally come back for a drink and to try more of their menu!

Sat down waited an hour and not once did they come to my table or acknowledged me won't be going there anytime soon

Favorite beach bar around! Shore Club always has cool events to attend. My friends and I joined forces for the Pitch-A-Friend event and had the best time! This bar and restaurant has been around for decades for a reason. Tuesday night trivia, Wednesday night gold fish races, and football (especially Super Bowl and Navy) game days are a MUST! Don't forget to order a tropical redbull slushy.

I love this place truly, love Randy love Mo and all the bartenders! HOWEVER, last night July 12th we quickly realized how awful the bouncers are.. we over heard them saying some pretty racist things about their coworker who clearly spoke broken English. They kept saying how bars need to stop hiring "immigrants" and continued saying awful things. I do love this place and most of the people who work here but I am a woman of color and I do not feel comfortable even giving money to people who have employees that see non American people that way.

I had an awesome breakfast experience here. I give it 4 stars rather than 5 stars because my stomach got upset after the breakfast, and I don't know whether it was due to overstuffing myself or the cooked food. Having said that, I devoured my omelette and potatoes, which were cooked perfectly to my liking.

Came here on a Saturday around 4pm for a friend's bday and we all had a great time! The line was pretty long once we got there but it goes by pretty fast. It was my first time here and I wasn't really sure what the vibes were, but once we got inside it seemed like during the day, it's like a beach bar and once it gets dark, it was more like a "club." The music they played here ranged from old school pop, rap, and maybe even EDM? A little bit of everything for everyone. For drinks I tried the Tropical Red Bull Slushie which was really good and sweet. For those of you that don't like the taste of alcohol, this is a great option. For food, we got the appetizer plate and everything was so delicious and the portions are huge! My favorite thing was the bacon wrapped shrimp, soooo flavorful! The service here is pretty quick too! You can order drinks at the bar or if you're sitting at a table, someone will come by to take orders for drinks and food. I thought this was pretty neat so that we don't have to go back and forth from the bar and lose our spot. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd be down to come back again!

This place was packed on Friday during sunset and after getting through the line, I can understand why. The drinks are on the cheaper side for PB and they have a great view of the beach. The ambiance was giving frat house though. Lol it isn't the cleanest and there isn't a lot of seating but if you're lucky to find one along the beach then take advantage! We were able to find seats near the window and sat with our High Noons for the sunset. They had good music playing and a few tvs showing the baseball games. It's really loud and crowded, so expect to get bumped into and shout over the noise.

Shore Club! Depending on when you're going, either it could be quiet and relaxing or rowdy and crowded! I would not recommend sitting inside, instead enjoy one of the best views of the Pacific Ocean and sit on their sunny patio We've always gone for brunch because the food is delish and there is never a wait. Our Westie also approves!

This place is a vibe! The DJ is everything! We had so much fun. The place was packed. Our server was excellent considering how packed it was. Drinks were good. I had a great time and I will be back.

This happened a long time ago but I'm still not over it. I had sudden cardiac arrest and collapsed at the bottom of the stairs. Apparently it was a big scene. Luckily I survived thanks to the firefighters across the street. I messaged the owner through IG to see if I can see footage since I know theres a camera there and had a conversation going but was eventually constantly left on read. The annoying part was we had a conversation going and they said they would keep me updated. Eventually they just ignored me. I kept messaging and I know they saw every message because there are read receipts on. I'll never see how it all went down now. I just don't understand how you can ignore something like this. I'm not blaming them in any way. Just wanted some closure.

Good place to grab drinks and enjoy the view on the outdoor patio during the day. Good spot to watch a sports game as well! Sometimes there are covers during the day/night depending the day/event. I don't typically like going here at night. Wednesdays are their big college "fish races" nights which draws a very large crowd during the year.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and skip The Shore Club. Right off the bat, our brunette waitress--with visible tattoos (pretty sure one was a dreamcatcher on her leg)--had an attitude. When we said we were starting with just water, she literally walked away and didn't come back for a while. When she finally did, she told us we had to get our own water--yet we watched her bring water to every other table that arrived after us. It was pretty clear they pick and choose who they want to treat decently, and we weren't on the list. Maybe she assumed we wouldn't tip because we're young--but jokes on her, we have all been there and always tip over 20% for good service. This was not that, because of her poor attitude and service she got a couple dollars instead of what would've been over $20 which she should've haven't got anything to be honest. The attitude didn't stop there. I asked a basic question about the menu and she snapped back with something along the lines of, "It comes with everything it says it does" Wild. I guess there's a reason she's a waitress and not in sales. To top it off, all of our food came out at different times, making it impossible to enjoy a meal together. Honestly, the food wasn't even worth the hassle. Mediocre at best. It's obvious this place coasts on location and tourists who don't know any better, but that won't last forever. And if you hate your job that much, maybe find a new one instead of taking it out on customers like a grown up brat. Do not come here. PB has way better options where you'll actually be treated like a human.

Listen. You know what you're getting when you sign up to come to a place like this. It's PB. You're not coming here for elegance and class. You're here for a good time and a story to go back home with. Happy hour. TV's. Shoulder to shoulder traffic. A unhoused person outside waiting to share their favorite song with you on their speaker at volume 50. If you go on a popular night expect it to be packers they do have a facial id system to make sure you haven't been put in the ban list for the area. It's busy but people are generally respectful of your space. Whether you're outside or in it will be packed so get there early enough to snag a table to sit at. The food is decent. Fries were bomb and wings were a definite win. Quesadillas were a little skimp and spotty with the meat. Drinks are decent. I have no complaints. It hits the spot and does what it needs to do. The DJ was also pretty fire. Not like I want to twerk my ass off kinda DJ but daaang that's a good mix and I'm vibing kinda place. Lastly, beautiful sunset right in your eyes. Bittersweet. Hopefully all of that captures what to expect when you go here. It's worth checking out but don't be mad if someone knocks your drink out your hand or if you're standing eating your food :)

Such a fun time! Sundays are big here and it's packed! The drinks are reasonably priced and the music is great! I love that you can see the beach so clearly and definitely recommend this for a Sunday night out

Women were average, drinks were good. Ratio was decent. All things considered, this bar is a great time.

As a 44 year old man, I was dared to get out of my comfort zone and with the challenge accepted I ended up at a place that I hadn't been to in over a decade, Pacific Beach Shore Club. I must say, it doesn't feel like much has changed and I guess that's a good thing because walking through the front doors brought back only good memories, not bad ones. The crowd is still full of young people and people that feel young, (cough, cough... me) but somehow it all works. The patio is great for sunset and there is plenty of seating. Sure, it's pretty close quarters on the patio but it's seating nonetheless. What I don't remember are the higher prices but times are changing and I can live with it. Service at the bar could be a bit more friendly and personal but I get it, they're serving a big crowd but a smile and a "thank you" isn't too much effort and goes a long way.

WORST BARTENDERS! *came here for my 21st bday and left crying!* Got my group 4 shots of vodka once we got there, didn't tip bc it was just straight vodka not a cocktail or anything . Also just a college student with no job lol. Wanted 2 cups of water just to help with the straight vodka,White middle aged bartender working on the night of Friday, September 14th said " I don't look at people who didn't tip " and therefore refused to acknowledge me eventho I already asked for the water after the shots were poured. Honestly just really ruined my night . I had a birthday sash on so it's obvious I'm a college student. I've worked in food service various times and never judged college student for not tipping . I of course felt bad but it was just straight vodka shots being poured into shot glasses . Bartenders are really hungry for money from broke college students.

We enjoyed this place so much that we actually went a couple times during our trip. Once just for drinks and another for brunch. The view is incredible, obviously. But also,it's a fun environment to be in, we enjoyed everything we ordered and our server, Amber, was great and was able to help give advice on the menu to work around preferences and allergies! Definitely will be back

4 stars only because I should have won the fish race. Got second place on my first time to a guy who's won 39 times. Villain arc starting now.

Super cool spot to hang with cool friendly bartenders, fun young happy drunk babes. I've yet to try the grub. If I were still in my drinking days, I could see myself here nightly having fun picking up babes on the ez pz.

Nellie is just the best! Me and my best friends were celebrating our last day in San Diego after five years living together and she just went above and beyond to make our experience incredible. Thank you so much!

Long wait just to be told we could not go inside with a reuseable water bottle. Walked by other restaurants and you can see people sitting with their bottles on the tables, including right next door. Ridiculous and outdated policy.

Rj is cool as hell for security, very charming guy. Great place to meet random people and socialize with. Upstairs Sarah took care of us and kept yelling go birds!

Great place to watch Navy games. Great vibe, spacious, friendly staff and patrons... located right on the beachfront boardwalk. Their nachos are generous and big enough to share with friends. There was a line out the door during the Army Navy game for 4 hours straight. Definitely get there early if you want to be inside for all the festivities, otherwise you're out of luck trying to get in.

Cool place to watch the game and get a drink, but horrible place if you want to go dancing. Why have a DJ if there's no where to dance? They need to take the picnic tables out, and replace them with tables that can be more easily removed when the DJ comes on. There's no room to dance due to the stupid picnic tables in the way. They would be a lot busier if they fixed this huge problem. The hideaway, and firehouse take tables out when their DJ's come out, shore club needs to do the same. We want a real dance floor!

Great atmosphere, views were amazing! Service is second to none!! Food was very good, not great. I had the burrito. A bit spicy for me, but decent. Huge quantity. My wife got the egg white omelette with vegetables. She said it was excellent!! So good. I'd give them a 4.5 if I could. Definitely recommend for a quick casual meal!

Ladies and gentlemen, it's true. This is the best bar in San Diego. All of the bartenders are super quick and attentive. Views are great. Brian, Sarah, Chase, and Kurtis are the bubbliest most fun employees a bar could have. Food slaps. The corn dip and birria tacos are bomb. Great place to day drink, late night, happy hour, sunset, etc. Honorable mention.. Brian's skinny marg HITS every time.

The food was surprisingly delicious! I highly recommend coming here to dine. There are a lot of different flavors for chicken and if you like spicy then these wings definitely got a kick to it! It was $18 for 8 pieces of chicken. The cali fries were so tasty. Perfect crunch, not too soggy, but just enough potatoes that made the meal filling. Nachos for $15 is good appetizer to share. The tacos here are $5 a taco (a la carte) or $12 for a plate which includes two tacos with rice and beans. They had a good variety in the taco meat option. The drinks here are fun. They make almost any drink into a slush. It's pretty big, and nice on a hot San Diego day. I normally come here just at night, but it was a pleasant surprise coming for lunch. I would say that the only disappointing part is how sticky the table was and I feel that this place is not as sanitary. Now thinking about it, at night when it's just a bar, people have their bottoms sitting on top of the dining part of the table. So in conclusion to the stickiness of the table, I highly do not recommend consuming food that accidentally dropped on the table and to practice eating without your arms on the table!

This place is always a party. I stopped in the Pacific Beach Shore Club for a quick beer after a 5k run on the beach. It was game day and there was a wait to get in. I grabbed my beer and mixed myself in with the crowd to watch an NFL game. Pacific Beach Shore Club is just walking distance from the beach and Crystal Pier. For food, they serve classic Mexican dishes. Taco Tuesdays is a great day to check this place out. If you don't mind the crowd and how loud it gets in here, this is a fun place to grab some drinks and have a good time.

During the day this Restaurant has the best Ocean view, outdoor dining with big big-screen TV Food is normal nothing special, service is okay one server running around. Food dropped and left I got abandoned No one asked if I needed anything or food okay but I didn't expect it because kind of like Chill Restaurant, not full service Night time turns out as a night club very fun and a lot Of people super long line but worth wait it is a first-time experience here.

Where do I even begin?!? This place is the absolute best. Every time I visit San Diego this is at the top of my list of places to visit. Such a fun bar with great ambiance, drinks, and music.The staff here is incredible. Came here 5 times while attending our 4 day Bach trip this past weekend so needless to say, we are big fans. Thank you Cam, Sam, Kevin, Randy, Murph, Justin, Kris, Nolan, Stizzy and everyone else who made this weekend so special for our bride to be.

Great vibes for a fun Wednesday night! We came here for the goldfish racing and it did not disappoint. Even for a Wednesday night it was busy. It had a pretty long line but it moved fast. The upstairs area has two parts to it -- in the back room there are tables, booths and people dancing. The front room has the bar and is where the goldfish racing happens (pictured). You pay a little $ to get into a bracket and then race. The announcer roasted everyone which was hilarious. The bar tenders work quickly and I was able to get a nice hazy IPA on tap. Overall, we had a good time!

My coworker and I came here for dinner and it was delicious!! Fun atmosphere, right on the beach. The service was great too. Will be back the next time I'm in PB!

Amazing sunsets. The fish tacos were my favorite and they have a great selection of beers. Patio dining and the sunset can't miss it. I'm coming back.

Stopped in on a rainy Monday night to grab a drink and kill time. It was my first visit here and the location was right on the beach. My friends were telling me that it's normally pretty wild so I'm glad I got to experience it on a calm night. They had a cash box gimmick going that I guess happens every Monday so it was pretty entertaining and made for a nice pit stop.

Not military friendly. After showing my passport ID and driver license, my 45 year old husband was not welcomed in with his military ID. It's clear as day that we are not under 21 years old and it is a the middle of the day. I gave you 2 valid ID! He gave you one and it he is 45! This is simple a memory spot for us and NOT a party spot! I would be caught dead in here late night. It's a trash show. The place is not classy, it's just a crap show. The bar food is trash. They use to do so much better. We have been here many times over the 15+ years. Yep we are that old. ‍ this is a pure trash experience.

Good drinks good times but can be pricey. Yes you are paying for the view and all but I was not impressed. It got loud really fast. The nachos weren't the best and I love nachos sooo

Son and Mas man these guys handle this place professionally , as soon as we walked in they were asking about my day and telling me the specials. Come on now it's Monday of course I love specials. FYI I'm above 30 so if I'm giving them 5 stars it's a nice spot to be on Monday

Came here with a group back in July and our buddy Terron is apparently banned here. He got jumped by the entire security staff last year, actually sued the bar and won in court. He left a review if you wanna read but this place is bad news. We've seen the videos and pics and it was bad

I came for the view, I came back because of the service. Chrissie was my server and I was so impressed! I'm kind of picky and she never made me feel like I was asking too many questions, and she gave me spot on recommendations. I like the tuna snack and of course the famous Red Bull slushee. I'll be back for you Chrissie!!

This bar is great for cocktails and simple food with an awesome view (if you're fortunate enough to snag a table on the top floor). I always have a great time here and they move people through the line and in the door pretty quickly. Can't beat it on a sunny day or at sunset :) I do have to take off a star and give a word of caution - I came here with my fiancé and a few friends and was grabbing drinks for all of us from the upstairs bar (alcoholic for them and just water for me). I needed to make a second trip back for my water and realized shortly after drinking it and getting home that it had definitely been drugged. I could not move my body and was barely conscious and hyperventilating/seizing after not drinking AT ALL at the bar, so I know something sketchy happened. I know this could probably happen anywhere, but WATCH YOUR DRINK CAREFULLY!
