PBR Texas: A Coors Banquet Bar

Great music, great atmosphere, alot of people but not overcrowded. We were a group of 6 so it was easier to do bottle service and that was really good. So good we did it twice. Servers were very attentive and super nice. For a beer or two or bottle service this place is great at all levels. Live music and country dancing.

Cindy at PBR at Texas Live was AMAZING! She was friendly, attentive, and kept the energy high the whole time. Super professional, quick, and made the experience so much fun. You can tell she really cares about her guests—definitely a highlight of the night. Ask for Cindy if you’re there!

Absolutely amazing experience at PBR! Gracie and Mayra truly made the night. They were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests, and their energy made the whole experience even better. If you’re at PBR, do yourself a favor and ask for Gracie and Mayra — they are the BEST!

I didn’t eat here, so can’t rate the food, but this was my favorite bar of all at Texas Live. Good music at the right level, a sit-at bar, nice dance floor, great servers. Surprised more folks haven’t discovered it yet! 🙌🫶

It was my birthday and we did a cowgirl themed night... Because there was an event at the Globe Life Arena/Field it was hard to find parking, however we did find a reasonable priced garage to park into & the attendant was super nice and let me go for free since it was my birthday.. PBR was cool although they didn't serve food (we were hungry) the staff was very friendly and helpful they pointed us in the direction of of food venues and that was great news for us. There was no cover charge nor a fee to ride the mechanical bull and that was the whole reason for the birthday trip to the establishment and it was an awesome time, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it made for a very happy birthday night for me

No food, but the service is awesome. Mai and Gracie were wonderful servers. Will definitely come back for a section again!

Great bar to go to after football and baseball games. The staff is always wonderful especially Byron he goes above and beyond each visit!

Hey, I love this place. All of the ladies there are very nice. But Gracie and Mi are the best bottle girl in PBR.

My group had SUCH AN AMAZING TIME at this place for New Years. We decided to go all out and did a VIP table. Everything was perfect, booking was simple and effortless. I cannot rave enough about Brooke who was our bottle attendant. She made the night so special with a message board for our anniversary and made sure we were happy and well stocked with beverages. We will Definately be back and recommend it to our friends!

When walking in the ambiance is cool. We liked the dimmed lights, the bull and the Dj. Although I feel like the Dj should kinda feel his crowd with the music, he didn't do that well this day! It was still LIT as they say, but you could tell the crowd was not yet drunk or feeling the music. My wife and I sat and had a few cold drinks before heading back to the hotel. The outside is super cute and very relaxing. We liked that they had corn hole, and a whole bar set up outside. Texas heat hits different when your from Cali LOL. Great service from the front bartender and drinks were made strong!!

Closed and kicked everybody out at 12:45am on a Saturday Night because it was "slow" with 100+ people there. Thanks y'all!

After attending the Cowboys vs Eagles game we were stuck in the area due insane Uber prices. I would later discover the surge wasn't because of the game or rainy weather, rather the tornado that touched down less than a half mile away. What was normally a $15 ride was $115! I'm no cheapo, but needless to say I stayed put and made my way to PBR Texas. I had one beer so j can't really comment on the drinks or service, but watching the bull riding was pretty entertaining. The bar was packed so there was a steady flow of brave souls. The operater would let them stay on just long enough to build their confidence before launching them across the ring. ..pretty hilarious. I noticed he'd let the more attractive women stay on a little longer and somehow manage to get them to twerk upside down while hanging on for dear life. It was a fun night and convenient way to kill time until the Uber surge ended a few hours after the game. Judging from the other reviews my generally positive experience may've been an outlier.

Soooooo for starters y'all's DJ is full of it. We requested a song- wipe me down, and he said we don't have that.... really???? The DJ is who sets the tone for the night. The place literally got jumping because our bridesmaid squad got on the dance floor and started rocking out.I get it, we don't want to play that kind of music because we like a certain crowd. Just say that. Needless to say we left shortly after but we had a good time trying to navigate the played out dj play list. The drinks were great! The bartenders were great but let me come and dj for a night and show your guy how to work a crowd and how to NOT ignore people that are trying to request a song. Would definitely go back tho, but screw the dj. So update.....today is 1/17 and I just found out that the DJ told my sister that he didn't like Beyoncé crazy in love and then turned around and played it. Who cares what you don't like? You're the DJ not the crowd. And then told her he didn't have Pressure by Ari Lennox. Yeah y'all's DJ needs to realize that he's not a celebrity and he needs to be humble. I have some friends going Friday and I made sure they know to go in there and see if he's on the same bs.

Hours say till 2 and closing at 11... the staff is on their phones sitting there. Can't ride the Bull because they close it at last call but don't announce it. So lame

Operators at the mechanical bull riding are not friendly. Service at bar and restaurant is great. Wish they could help educate the operator at the mechanical bull on what it's like to have good customer service.

Good for a fun night out. If you like dancing, this is the place to be. Ambience is so-so.

We reserve the table, left my debit card got a wristband came back and they told me my table was sold and gave my debit card to somebody else

Security is trash . If vip guests ask for you to be kicked out they don't even ask why even though the vip guests asked you to come up and hang out. My friends and I were asked to hang out in the vip section and one of the guests didn't want us to be there so they escorted us out with no reason or explanation. They should definitely be fired.

So this place is a bar within a bar type concept at Texas Live! I've been here a handful of times and they have their female staff trained to dance a jig in sync throughout the night. They will also ride the mechanical bulls and shake their rumps. You can sign up to ride the bulls as well! Cool setup. The bathrooms are large and clean. They have shot girls pushin' tubes filled with sugar and splashes of of alcohol in them and if you have a hard they'll run back to the register and run right back. On my most recent visit, they had a mix of country and rap goin on here. Strange times. The only complaint I had was, their bar was is inconsistent. I ordered a Redbull and vodka for my first drink, and it was $6.80. I came back and ordered from another guy on the other side of the same bar and he said he had Monster, and then charged $10. WTF?

Kelsey and MacKenzie are the best bartenders I've ever had. The hospitality is off the charts. 10/10 recommend.

WeI really have been hoping over time this bar would improve, but if anything they've gotten worse. I was there opening day and loved that they had a refillable cup. Bad thing is the beer still cost the same as if you did not buy it, $32. I think they've gotten rid of this in favor of drink specials. Which are pretty good, considering. I went there a second time for a birthday. VIP really is not anything except a slightly reduced drink special. Which is kind of stupid considering most places have a VIP section. Not here, anyone can come up to a table and take chairs or sit down. No VIP section. Same visit they kept taking bar tenders off the bar to go dance. With no one to fill in the bar. Sorry we are there to drink not watch women dance. At least do what other bars do and have a fill in bartender. Enter the last straw this past weekend. Again VIP nothing special. Again near impossible to get drinks. But PBR upped the ante by having the bar tender state we walked on our drinks. Drinks that were on a tab!!!! Luckily they were because she decided to call a manager over. We told the manager about the problem and he asked for our card and saw we were telling the truth. Something the bar tender could have done. He did offer us a free drink but we were done with this place after that. All we wish is we could have asked for our tips back, since we tipped her very well through the night with cash. I believe the bartender was Amanda. Needless to say, it's a no to PBR.

We were visiting from Los Angeles and came in to check it out on a Friday night. We were hoping for more Texas/country/cowboy experience but it was pretty "pop music." There was some country music but as the night continued, it became more "pop." Drinks were good and crowds were small so it was pretty easy to get drinks. We paid a little over $20 for 2 margaritas, a beer, and a glass of wine. I have read other reviews complaining about drink prices, but coming from L.A. this was a bargain. We normally pay $7-13 for a beer, and can pay up to $15 for a margarita.

First time going to this pub and had a great overall time, from drinks to dancing this place has a good vibe I'd definitely recommend!!

Cool place to stop at before or after the cowboys and rangers game. Full bar with a fun mechanical bull to ride. The workers are entertaining with their line dance to country songs bartenders are speedy and make great drinks. Ask for Gabe or Matt their awesome bartenders

We were very eager to visit this bar. Since Cowboys shut down in Arlington there hasn't been a local country bar, and there still isn't. Stayed for 5 songs and I recognized 1 song and I primarily listen to country...pop and Texas country. If the music was better I'd probably stayed a bit longer. Place was very nice otherwise. Service was quick, however get ready to pay ballpark beer prices. $6 for a draft beer. I might take my Illinois relatives here when they visit, only because they wouldn't know any better. But I wouldn't go back otherwise.

Bar/wait staff were attentive and made decent bar drinks. The bar is clean and I hope they keep it that way. We were there on a night were a fairly large band was playing. Bar super crowded after the concert. Good place to go for an Arlington "honky tonk" experience. BUT...drinks are stupid expensive. They need to take in the factor of the clientele that would go to that bar. Not everyone can afford drinks at 8-10 bucks a piece. We drank beer. Shiner and blue moon. Also tried to get into the VIP table reservations and no one every got back to us. Chicks are good looking. They need to have an option for the Hetero female to look at as well.

Kicks people out for getting into arguments nobody gets touched but go ahead and walk them down the elevator to the door out of the entire building because someone called a GUEST a name. Go ahead and take several seats PBR. It's not that serious. Lmao

Audren Starr and Cody Hinzman are the bomb behind the bar!! 11/10 for sure . Very well behind the bar fast and entertaining! Love them and the place!

Was hoping to hear more country music! Lots of pop and rap music mixed in. It was a nice place though!

Cool environment, big dance floor. And the bartender, I think his name Gabe was awesome, very nice, took care of us right away. Gave us some insight on the whole venue, and was very personable. They were out of a certain drink, so He even went to the other bar to get a drink for my friend. Class act guy.

1 small beer was $14.20 before tip. That's the first and last time I go there. Texas Live is pretty cool overall. The bars and restaurants are all open or connected.

This bar is great. Between the bulls and dance floor you can't go wrong. They play a variety of music but a strong country base. Bartenders and servers got out there and danced as well. Matt is our favorite and continue to come back because of the wonderful service.

Really surprised at the attitude at this bar every time we have stopped by. Like they are doing everyone a favor by just being here. 0 stars would be the best. Get over yourselves and remember you are in the customer service business. Mostly empty at peak hours and now I know why.

Started off spending over $40 on 2 shots and 3 sodas (for those who weren't drinking). Went up to get a refill of Dr. Pepper for my daughter and was told by Chris the bartender that they don't serve Dr. Pepper. I said that I purchased the Dr. Pepper from them. He then told me that I'd have to to go "one of the girls". WTF??? Why would I have to go to a girl to get a refill of a soda that I purchased from them??? I went around the other side of the bar... 10 ft. from where he was and the female bartender gave me a refill. What a sexist attitude that this place allows! Will never go into them again! So many other great places inside Texas Live! Go spend your money at one of the places that appreciates their customers and the female population!!!

It's a neat atmosphere, but good luck getting a drink easily on a Friday night. The bar is poorly placed right next to the dance floor. I waded through many dancing couples only to stand in line forever waiting to order a single beer. Then, I made the mistake of opening a tab and had to wait in line forever AGAIN to close my tab. It wasn't the bartender's fault. She was working hard. I honestly don't know how she got time to stop and breathe. There were two bartenders but it clearly wasn't an adequate amount of staff for the amount of patrons there. People in line were complaining and cursing about the wait. I found it very frustrating. Total buzzkill, including the staff member that squeezed past me at the bar to get on top of it and dance. That's annoying when there's a line of customers waiting for drinks and tabs.

In town for the Marine Corps Ball and found the Cowboy Bar in Texas Live as one of the funnest and friendliest places in town!! General Manager Kyle was the greatest and I will return maybe tonight after the ball. Thank you to him and his staff for welcoming us to PBR and The Cowboy Bar with a huge TEXAS WELCOME!!! We (party of 6 people) paid for the all you can eat (and 2 alcoholic drinks) tailgate for the ND vs Clemson game at PBR and it was a VERY poor experience. The food constantly ran out (had to wait multiple times for them to replenish burgers and buns) which resulted in very long lines for the food. The bartender service was also very slow and took forever as well. For $35 (plus tax and service fee), I would never recommend PBR. Avoid if you can!!!

PBR Texas is such an extremely fun environment! The party is always on full blast!! The first time you visit definitely won't be your last! Great bartenders and really awesome buckle bunnies! If it's your birthday, bachelor or bachelorette party or just a night out with good friends. PBR is where you want to be! Buckle up for the best 8 seconds of your life!

Kyle layman was an actual horrible GM and horrible dj at pbr. Don't spend your money on bottle service or a table, it's not worth it if he is working. The music was the worst and he was beyond rude

Kyle was the worst DJ I have ever experienced. It was my friend's birthday and she requested a song and he told her it was on the line up. Okay... hours later we ask again and he plays it for 3 seconds only on purpose. Her boyfriend then asked again will you please play it. The DJ (Kyle Layman) responds, "I will buy you a beer if you can tell your girl to go away." This was just the beginning of him being so rude. Come to find out he is the general manager. I would not recommend this place at all. Also they do not have Michelob Ultra and Red Bell.

Gabe is the babe and he's my fave!!! Def ask for him as your bartender. Best at it!!! This was my first time here, and I'll come again thanks to the GREAT service. OH MY THE BESTTT EVER IMA RIDE THE BULL AGAIN.

I like the place but it needs to be more than one year of experience in the morning and evening I will go there

Attended the freedom Friday event after learning about it at an information booth at a TCU football game last week. Texas live rep said there would be a vip table set up with a beer keg, contests with gift cards to the winners with drink specials all night. Their Facebook account also said it would include verified all except the vip table and beer keg. Not sure I'll attend another freedom Friday. Never heard anything about the nurses or veterans in attendance. It was advertised as no line, no cover and happy hour all night with push up and pull up contest with gift cards to winners. None of this took place except for the very limited (4 items) $4 (plus tax) specials. As good as Texas live is, PBR seemed to drop the ball to honor first responders and veterans.
