Korochka Tavern Opens New Location in Wallingford | Eater Seattle

"Continuing its rapid expansion, PCC Community Markets will open a new Bellevue store on August 12 at 11615 NE 4th St; this will be the grocer’s 15th location in the city and the fourth on the Eastside, and the Bellevue store will include the usual bells and whistles, an art installation from local artist Shogo Ota, a studio for cooking classes (whenever those are allowed again), and an expansion of its food bank program to include Bellevue Hopelink." - Gabe Guarente

Think Picasso. Think Rembrandt. It is just perfection taken to a different level. Not only do I love the obvious attention that is put into their displays and how things are presented to me as someone coming in, but the incredible diversity of options and the fact that this is a community market focused on healthy foods and healthy alternatives. Make this one of my absolute favorite places. And just needing a quick bite to eat, the choices seem to always be endless. Love this place

Google
Great grocery store. Some of the best produce, fruits, and vegetables around. I haven't seen any better in this town. They have all your seasonal decor and goodies. Excellent looking meats. Premade foods and sandwiches. The salad bar and the hot bar are a bonus. Pizzas, wine, beer, and liquor are available. This is not a Walmart, and you will not find any low quality products here. One of the best cheese selections I've seen paired with fresh cold cuts. Self or staff check-out is available, take you pick. Bags are $.10 each or bring you own. Coffee, water, baby products, fresh bread and buns, hats, gloves, Sox, and many other specialty items.

I've never been to a PCC before so this was very interesting and fun. The organization and selection of food was outstanding. However, everything was organic or non-gmo and so on... making the prices more than a regular grocer store. I'd probably only come here if Target or Whole Foods was lacking something on my grocery list. In the back of the store are non-perishable food such as rice, beans, flour, and spices that you can store in reusable containers. That's pretty cool if you're into the zero waste movement. I think they also had certain liquid stuff but I didn't look too closely at it.

I walked in this store after Kura and the fruits are so well-displayed, I want everything!

Google
DON NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THE HOT BAR! PRICING IS DECEIVING AND I DON’T THINK THE WEIGH IS ACCURATE. I CAME IN TODAY @ 11:23 AND MADE MYSELF NACHOS WHICH SAID IT WAS 11.99. SIGN DID NOT MENTION WEIGHT BUT I FIGURED IT WOULD BE INCLUDED. NACHOS I MADE MYSELF NO EXTRA SIDE NO DRINK 29.50. And then they automatically added .01 to my recipe for funding hunger. DIDNT AS ME IF I EANTED TO OR NOT A MULTI BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY THAT COULD WRITE A CHECK TO FUND HUNGER AND WRITE IT OFF BUT NOT YOUR BEING SNEAKY AND AUTOMATICALLY ADDING IT TO EVERY CUSTOMERS RECIPE. THIS IS BLASPHEMY! I could’ve went out to eat and been waited on for almost $30 nacho and at least at the very least got a drink with it. You guys need to do better in this economy. I don’t know what the hell you’re thinking but do better because this is absolutely outrageous And I hope other people that read this review make complaints as well. You guys are disgusting for this.

Google
They had so many options for vegetables and fruits. My favorites were the purple cauliflower and the giant mangoes. They have the biggest choices for rice, nuts, coffee and spices by the pound. Some of the bakery items and hot food are also good. I normally can't stand those because they're bland (Yes, I'm looking at you, Safeway.) but they were surprisingly decent here. Even their choices of chips were healthy. If you are a local-organic-gmo-free, grass fed type and are willing to spend 4x what you'd normally pay for in Target, then it's perfect! The good news is that if you sign up for their $60 membership, you get 2% back! I'd totally go back for their purple cauliflower though.

Google
PCC Community Markets Bellevue is a gem. Excellent selection of organic produce, artisan breads, and ready-to-eat meals. The layout is open and easy to navigate, with great attention to sustainability and local sourcing. Prices reflect the quality you get. Highly recommend for anyone who values clean, organic food and great service.

Google
PCC was a common place for grocery shopping for my family (as co-op members!) and its been so nice to see how its expanded throughout the years! We stopped by to grab some lunch and this location has some great options. The produce and groceries are well maintained, fresh, and stocked; the bakery and 'kitchen' area has some self-serve options although staff is nearby and seem ready to help. I had the asparagus ravioli salad with kale caesar which were both fun to try out. Heading out of the store, theres self check-out stations if you prefer and places to sit and eat. Unlike a few PCC locations, this one has a parking garage attached which makes visiting and shopping much easier.

Yelp
The hot bar at PCC is very good. You can tell that the chef's care about what they serve. . Now the hot bar at Whole Foods? Not so much.!!! Also, I used self check out for my hot items and received kindness and help !!thanks Pcc

Yelp
I don't have membership but occasionally I'll get coupons in the mail like $5 off meat if you spend $25 which I think is a good deal. I usually try to buy the meat or produce on sale, and mainly go to PCC for the local produce and meat. Everything else is pretty much generic stuff you can find at other grocery stores or online for cheaper. For instance the evolution orange juice is over $11 but I've seen this juice being around $8 on sale in other stores. The plus side is the produce section is maintained well. Unlike other grocery stores like Safeway or QFC, you pay more for the quality and freshness. I really like their organic bok choy though it's expensive. It's clean, fresh, and quite tasty when stir fried at home. I also usually always buy celery here because all the other grocery stores have really sad looking celery stalks. For the price point, I do give it a 3 because it's overpriced but the quality is most of the time pretty good. I also like their clam chowder soup in the deli section and I asked one of the workers if there's added msg which he replied with no, we make it from scratch. I was surprised by that. Again, super expensive but you can definitely taste the quality.

Yelp
We special ordered a rib roast for Thanksgiving and we were disappointed in the quality. The meat lacked marbling and was so gristly it was barely edible. At almost $30/lb we expected much better. We've ordered from the Issaquah store in the past and were always happy with the quality.

Yelp
First time at PCC community market and it was super organized and clean. I absolutely love the ambiance and the brightness of this place, feeling very welcomed. Their hot foods selection is a MUST to look at! They have all bakeries, soups, pastas, pizzas, and much more. I'd highly recommend looking into their fresh bakery items, it looks incredible! My friend got this box of the St Michel 8 pk butter petite madelines for $8, a bit pricey but pretty delicious. Service was self serve, so quite easy and no rush.

Yelp
Celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2023, Puget Consumers Co-op has fifteen locations throughout the Seattle metro area. Running (really walking) errands in the Bellevue area, my wife and I stopped in to peruse to sate our curiosity. It's an upper end grocery store, focusing on organics and is located in the Wilburton Village Shopping Center South. There were products that we hadn't seen in other places in the area (Ube mochi ice cream, and Carr Valley cheese). Still had space in my backpack, so paid it via self-checkout and went on our way.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this grocery store so much! They have so many premade meals, bakery items, and hot foods to choose from! I got their petite Madeline's from the bakery section and highly recommend if you love Madeline's as well! Delicious, flavorful, and moist

Yelp
Great selection of organic foods hot and cold for immediate or take home. Pleny of vegan options too. I love how PCC is so selective in what they carry on their shelves - Often non gmo, organic produce and deli selections. Thanks to Cherish at the coffee station for the excellent oat milk almond milk latte - perfectly balanced. No up charge for non diary milk. Yeah. Vegan cookie from the bakery was delish This is good size PCC with a great selection. And easy parking. The center also has a few other shops in the center. PCC is one of t)he best supermarkets bar none - great variety, plenty of local suppliers, food for all diet types, (for so many plant based including mighty o vegan donuts ) , fair pricing , friendly knowledgeable team, ... get your staples and discover new products. Oh and the apples - such a lovely array of local organic apples of many varieties. Some good value specials too. So delicious- have an apple tasting party

Yelp
My favorite PCC location! So spacious and clean. Hot bar is delicious as well and so are the salad & soup bars. Services is great, everyone was very kind and helpful.

Yelp
PCC is such a great market with tons of options and a great hot bar and pizza by the slice. I got a cheese slice for $3.99 and shocked with how it tasted like New York pizza. Super simple, nice cheese taste and thin crispy crust. Worth a slice when you stop by here to grocery shop

Yelp

We stopped by to grab some lunch today & this location has some great options. The produce & groceries are well maintained & stocked. Yelp
This PCC location just might be my favourite. The parking lot is super easy to get in and out off and the store layout just feels more open than the other locations. This location consistently has high quality produce when compared to other grocery stores, with a great selection of vegetarian/vegan centric products, and an okay bread selection. The self checkout machines function nicely to the point I don't think I've ever interacted with a single employee. I typically can't find everything I want at PCC, but they're typically one of the first stops to my weekly shopping adventures.
google avatar

Jessica Z.

Yelp
I absolutely love the pizza bar here. I always have to get a slice of their vegan pesto pizza when I do my grocery shopping at PCC. I've ordered a whole vegan pesto pizza from the PCC at the Greenlake location, but I have to admit that the pizza from the PCC at Bellevue is superior! (I came on a lucky day...there happened to be garlic confit on my slice of pizza!) So, so delicious.

Yelp
This is sad, but the produce isn't fresh. Berries, tomatoes, avocados this week have visible mold on them. Much of the food in the deli case is dried out looking, same with the things at the hot bar. The whole cooked chickens are not good at all, dried out and at that price it's not ok that they're not in good shape. I hope they can pull it together -- the location is great.
google avatar

Irina S.

Yelp
The food and quality is absolutely tasty and wonderful. Visited the store yesterday 4/12. They were closing the deli section and I asked for some chicken because I just picked up my uncle from the hospital from surgery and wanted healthy and organic for him. The man behind the counter wouldn't even turn around and kept shouting, "closed! Thank you!" X 3. I thought it was a bit much. A simple. We are closed, sorry would have been fine. I opted for the last rotisserie chicken they had left. We had to throw away the whole thing $15.99, because the chicken had hair all over it and tasted like rubber, the smell was unbearable. An unfortunate experience as this is our neighborhood store and I do enjoy a lot of what they do sell (see pic attached!)

Yelp
First of all, this PCC is pure evil. The second I walk into the store, I am salivating at the smell of pizza. Do they pipe the pizza vent directly at the front door? Seriously, it smells amazing!! Like a zombie, "Must go look at pizza!" I digress. Anyway, this is a fantastically new PCC in Bellevue. It's easy to find (just off 4th, east bound, of 405) with plenty of parking. The selection is abundant. As far as I can tell, it basically has everything I have ever seen in any PCC market. From aforementioned pizza, to hot foods, packaged cold salads, normal grocery items, produce (of course), to some less common items such as fill the container cleansers, soups, and many other fill the container options. Many are currently available, with giant signs that say use the hand sanitizer before doing anything. Love it! Anyway, be sure to come explore. I'm certain there are lots to be discovered. P.S. Sign up to their emails. While they are new, they have been sending email notifications of free something with purchase. For the last weekend, it was a free 6-pack of Zevia soda with purchase. What a deal!

Yelp
I used to shop at the PCC in Issaquah when I worked there, and boy, did walking through this new Bellevue location made me miss the products I once purchased. And I happened to find new items that I didn't think I needed, but yes, I do need them. This Bellevue location is in the new central Bellevue shopping area where the new Target and Virginia Mason are located, near multiple car dealerships. Covered parking is available in the spacious garage and was easy to navigate through. The store is super clean, with many employees, inspecting the products and packaging items. The space is large enough for the kind of grocer PCC is, selling organic, locally-sourced items, with many options for those with food-restricted diets, like plant-based or gluten-free. The fresh food area did have a hot food bar where you could build your own meal, but most of it was pre-packaged. I ordered two slices of pizza for $7, and it was wayyy better than Whole Foods. Thinner crust and fresher toppings, like it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp all day. I also was able to pick up a package of organic greens, extra virgin olive oil and a decadent brownie 'cause why the heck not? Employees were super friendly here. Friendlier than at the Issaquah location. (Sorry not sorry.) I also saw that they had a classroom here where they offer cooking classes, which I would love to do when it opens post-COVID. I'm thrilled that this PCC has made a home in Bellevue for when I want some healthy food that is at more times than not better tasting than Whole Foods down the street! Yeah, ya heard right!

Yelp
Their mango tofu is to die for, and their vegan chocolate chip cookies are amazing. I love that they have so many vegan options. I would recommend going around 1pm or earlier otherwise the vegan options do run out. Overall love this place!

Yelp
My husband goes to this PCC often. He got some items from their Deli on Friday May 6th around 11:35. He had gotten some overcooked chicken thighs before, and this time the Chicken Taquitos were also very over cooked/fried! We each took a bite and had to toss away the rest to the trash can. They were hard and chewy like rubber! Unacceptable! The pool quality of their hot deli food do not match with their high prices! Time to stop shopping here.

Yelp
Amazing gem of a store. Happened upon it after visiting a nearby Home Depot. Great produce, fresh deli offerings and more. It is a co-op style place with loads of parking in a structure right next to the store. Similar to a Whole Foods or metropolitan market, only I got more food for my money. The hot deli food had me salivating with so many choices such as cheese enchiladas, Mac and cheese, pizzas and more. It was $10.99 a pound for the hot food and I was hungry, so I decided on a small package of curry spiced tofu. Next time photos!! Happy yelping.
google avatar

Colleen K.

Yelp
Courtney the front end person didn't was a word.... more worried about chatting with her co workers. I try to engage in conversation...not a chance ... more worried about who the on duty manager is tonight, I'll be spend my money at Whole Foods.
google avatar

Yelp
The bulk food section exceeds every single other grocery in the area, including Whole Foods, Fred Myer, and QFC. I was less than pleased with the checkout experience. I wished the cashier a good day, but they were already focused on the next customer. The price per hamburger bun was $1.25 each for four. The watermellon was rather small, and cost about $15. Edit: Before publishing this review I went back a second time. At the deli counter I noticed an $8.95 forgot your sandwich with mozzarella and tomato. I was so super hungry I thought yes I will purchase this and they will grill it and it will be good. I was so looking forward to how the cheese will melt in my mouth. However, they do not have a panini grill, only the sandwiches. The employees said management had taken the grill out, and he wished they would put it back. I wish the management would have listened. We had to walk out and go to Chipotle's food around the corner. I'm not sure I'll go back here.

Yelp
I've been a fan of PCC since becoming a WA resident, but that fandom has increased dramatically over this year in particular. It's not just the business model, store design, and product offerings, but the customer service is among some of the best! This new Bellevue location is the newest one, and the location can't be beat. Situated in the same mixed-use development as Target and Virginia Mason, the size is just right and it houses a great selection of curated ethnic products without sacrifice to quality. Prices are comparable to Whole Foods, but the integrity and freshness of products make it a better value for the customer and the local area. If you become a member (which I strongly recommend), the dividend, monthly perks and discounts quickly add up in your favor. My husband and I like coming here for their milk and eggs, since they have a great partnership with one of our favorite dairy farms in WA. We also like their fresh fruit and root vegetables and mushrooms. Their coffee is surprisingly good, and beats some of the local coffee shops! But above all that, we love getting their seafood and meats. Their lamb selection is great and priced very well. The butchers are knowledgeable and friendly, and they also cut meats to your liking (we like getting our pork spare ribs cut across the bone) with no issue. Just ask! Don't pass on their prepared foods sections, which offer a range of classic American comfort foods, Mexican grain bowls and burritos, and Asian street bites. Pick up a pack of Argentine alfajores if you like sandwich cookies with dulce de leche (seriously these are amazing) before you go. There's something for everybody here, and parking is easy. Just make sure to enter off of 116th if you're heading north. There's another entrance off of 4th, but only heading east.
google avatar

Thao N.

Yelp
Fantastic quality, better than Whole Foods since I no longer trust their products ever since Amazon took over. The only annoying part is that you can only enter from one side of the street into the parking garage, but it's fine after you get the hang of it. Target is also in the same building, how convenient. I usually don't like prepackaged food because I rather pay the same price for hot food, but the quality here is great that I'll gladly pick up a few items for lunch. Produce are top notch, can't say more. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Yelp
I've always heard things about PCC and ventured in for the first time recently. First impression is that this store is very clean and organized, giving off a modern warehouse filled with food vibe. Being completely naive, my ultimate interpretation is that this is Whole Foods' cousin. Highlights of this place include lots of locally sourced products. Many organic/ health-conscious items are available and there is much variety for those with dietary restrictions. Surprisingly there was a salad bar and hot bar section present (especially during pandemic times). The hot pizza station caught my eye too. Having not graduated enough from my usual Costco and Trader Joe's level (sorry I'm a basic person), PCC isn't my cup of tea. I'm quite disappointed in the small bakery section. If I wanted a unique grocery item to try then I'd come here, otherwise I'm not making it a regular stop. Another interpretation is this place has the potential to make your wallet bleed.

Yelp
It opened on Aug 12 and I was excited for this new location. The parking lot is convenient compare to others in the neighborhood. The staff wiped the used carts after each time in the front. They provided the alcohol spray and paper towel by the shopping carts area too. It was open, modern and bright inside so it is easy to find everything. Love the decor, black birds on the wall. The staff was friendly and helpful if you needed. I noticed that they sanitized the shelves and door handles frequently and you could see the stickers about social distancing on the floor too. They carried one pint, 18 oz, frozen ice cream from Molly Moon in the ice cream section. I did not have a chance to get to see their outdoor seating area so I will come back again.

Yelp
I love PCC's Bellevue store, especially after waiting so many years for PCC to finally open a Bellevue store. It is so much closer than driving to one of the Seattle or other Eastside cities to shop other PCC locations for high quality organic food, fresh seafood... I've been a member since PCC had just one Seattle location, near where i used to live. Back when it was more granola and less fancy - but still carried excellent quality food... Truly my only challenge is how difficult parking has become since several other businesses have opened at the same location. However if I have to walk a bit further, its better for my health, right? So thank you PCC, for opening in Bellevue!!
google avatar

Justine S.

Yelp
Good locAtion, tons of great fresh produce and freshly made items in their bakery and deli. Prices are a little high, but as expected.

Yelp
This brand new PCC is a minimalist's dream... I am not one, however. To me, the store was sterile, cold, bland, uninviting. Just clean lines, stainless steel, glass. Nothing interesting. I have shopped at the Issaquah PCC for years, and that store has more "life"... The food here is high quality, I guess that should be the most important aspect of shopping there, and the store is ultra clean and organized. Staff were also very helpful and nice. The new PCC is just North of the Trader Joe's (opened 3 years ago) and 1 block south of Whole Foods. I would prefer to shop at either of those two in a heartbeat than this "sterile laboratory". But good luck to them!
google avatar

Kelly P.

Yelp
I wish there was an egg white breakfast option in the deli , burrito, breakfast sandwich etc. not everyone can eat whole eggs.
google avatar

Lu Z.

Yelp
This PCC store has the most unfriendly customer service, especially in checkout. Their interaction with customers is to the minimum: "1. Do you need a bag? 2. Are you a member? " That's it. Not even end with a "bye, have a good day". And you get a grumpy face all the time when you check out . So uncomfortable So I wonder: do I have to be a PCC member to get better customer service? Why are your cashiers so cold and emotionless? Is PCC treating their employees well? Why are they not happy every time when I visit? These questions were always in my mind when I was waiting at the checkout. Maybe this store manager sees this review , can provide some answers. I have a feeling this store won't last long. Seriously? Your groceries are nothing special comparing with other high end groceries , like metropolitan markets and Whole Foods. And your price tag is high, your customer service is freaking bad. What's left that can attract customers?

Hayden B.

Yelp
This store discriminates against minority shoppers. My son (whom is bi-racial) and I go into this grocery store for a few items in meat department, mind you this is our very first time shopping here. Right from the beginning we started getting followed. Then when arriving to the meat department, patiently waiting for the gentleman in front of us getting meat from the case by what seemed to be a friendly meat dept associate or so we thought... When it was our turn to be attended to we request 3lbs of salmon and he looked at my son and said "get it yourself from the self serve" and then walked away. We go look and of course they dont have that amount in self service so we go back to associate and he laughed and shook his head and once again looked at my son and said "self service" and pointed to the side. Now mind you he had JUST assisted the white customer in front of us for the same product. I asked him if we could get 3lbs from the case and he once again says "self service" and walks away. We then proceed to leave the store feeling completely unwanted in the store and then as we head to the front we get followed by security out the door. Never will shop there again.

Yelp
Everyone that works here is awesome! The fruits and veggies are always beautiful and almost all organic. A lot of organic meats. Great selection of alcohol and wine. Great place for a quick grab and go. Also great for dinner mains and sides, when not wanting to cook. Great bottled water selection and protein meal bars. Self care section is amazing! Nothing with harsh ingredients. Many products made for skin sensitivity. Also many vitamins and more. Great place for holiday candies and special items, no corn syrup. We bought PBA eggs here this year. Been coming to PCC's for 13 years.

Roderick V.

Yelp
The people that work there are not very friendly, especially at the checkout. The food is good, but Redmond PCC's food is better. The music playing in the store is kind of weird.
google avatar

Tony T.

Yelp
Always enjoy coming to the PCC. Members get weekly deals emailed and there are signs located in the store to direct you to the deals as well. The fruits and vegetables are mostly organic and they provide paper and plastic bags for the produce. The packaged groceries are good and the meat/seafood section always has nice looking items. Staff is very friendly and this is one of my favorite grocery stores in Bellevue. Prices are a little more than Trader Joes. Store is very clean.

Yelp
The staff is rude and unfriendly with the exception of one dark haired gentlemen at the deli who is really nice . Last week I was at the Bellevue store that i frequent regularly and a seriously concerning issue came up . a homeless man entered the store and tried to take some food from the hot bar- he was confronted by the manager and was clearly hungry. I offered to pay for the food for the man and the Bellevue manager would not let me. the manager was going to throw the food from the hot bar away and I simply don't understand why they would rather throw food away then let me buy it for a hungry person in our community. Tami Littlefield wrote me pretending this was a safety issue when there was no threatening behavior to staff or customers whatsoever . PCC has unfortunately become another store whose actions do not align with their stated mission or values. Tami could also not tell me how PCC takes care of its own staff or how they partner with food banks when i asked her. It's disturbing to me to think a market that prides itself on the community would behave like this. I really have reconsidered shopping here considering how this place is managed and how the upper management doubles down on food waste , ignoring in need members of the community and treating customers who care poorly .

Yelp
What an awesome new Eastside expansion! I really dig PCC growing in the region but I wish the designs could be more conducive to the local neighborhoods and while incorporating more unique, original finishing touches. One unique thing to note in their parking garage is the neat minimalist beet mural along the wall. Ok, once you show us some of that, my mind just races to all the opportunities (or rather, missed opportunities): paint the west wall, the east wall, the columns, patterned floor and/or pavers, etc. All the PCC locations are just like the current market: everything and their sibling is gray or unfinished concrete/cement. Embrace the effort and commission some amazing artists to cover the sea of gray! Anyway, decent garage otherwise with higher than usual ceiling to lend some spaciousness. The inside is solid if a bit too sterile with interior design. I do like how the ceiling is more clean and/or insulated compared to the West Seattle location whose ceiling impression is lacking. Some of the staple serving stations are great. The coffee bar needs better oat milk alternatives instead of Pacific (too gum-y/plastic-tasting to me); I prefer Oatly, Minor Figures, Califia or Elmhurst. My fav snack go-to's are the Kasha Bar and Yukon Potato bread roll for snacking/dipping. You can venture just outside for some comfy seating spots among the landscaping. Local Food Hack: If you want some warm white/brown rice to go with your food bar selections (and tired of the coconut rice), walk around the corner and just order the rice varieties from Chipotle. Mix everything together, as desired.

Yelp
Felt extremely compelled to leave a review here. Today at 3:45 to 3:50pm, the cashier at the station closest to the middle of the store was tonally rude to my mother in her way of asking my mother to move her cart. From afar, I also thought she said to remove her card, and my mother probably heard the same thing so she was confused whether it was card or cart (as well as not speaking English well). Point is, the cashier became impatient despite the fact there was an extra bagger to assist with the situation, and other PCC associates who could've corrected my mother's error in moving the cart left over at the start of the conveyer belt. Instead the bagger and cashier are just chatting away pretending customers they're supposed to value and respect don't exist and being aggressive in tone to customers who make small mistakes. They also didn't double bag our items when it was apparent the bag would break without it being doubled. Another case: 2-3 weeks before today, there was a different cashier that made a cash change error for a customer ahead of me, and didn't know how to fix it on the system, so I walked away to avoid the unwell trained cashier and the cashier went around to look for me despite me trying to avoid the ineptitude, and I ended up with a different cashier. I'm a long time shopper with PCC all over Washington state, and this is one of the very few bad experiences I've witnessed/had. So whoever is responsible for hiring, you should definitely screen harder for kinder cashiers more versed in manners and understanding, as well as training them to properly use the point of sale systems in case of human error. Won't be returning, and this is also part of the reason why I'm hesitant to own one their membership cards or to continue shopping with them. And if you're one of the managers reading this, you should definitely discipline them, otherwise they'll keep doing it, mark my words. You also need to have higher standards in general about the kind of person you hire. You need both competence and kindness with manners. It's not one or the other, it's both. Best PCCs in order listed- Fremont West Seattle Green Lake Edmonds Ballard Issaquah (for the food quality) Aurora Columbia City

Yelp
The store is nice and has some of the odd flare looking different ingredients. Farm friendly but for profit is the m.o. as it seems that they deal only with specific sources. This gets customers dissatisfied as items price will skyrocket with demand. Or suddenly dissapear from the shelf all together. As far as pcc's are this one does get 5 stars. It is an excellent place. Being the year 2020 it is a pleasant surprise that such a place should open it's doors. Their are many allergen specific food products and ingredients here. Lactose intolerant yes $$$ Customers seem disoriented. Overcrowding in a uncrowded store.

Yelp
Large and inviting! I'm starting to get jealous of Bellevue these days. Ample parking and easy access to other shops nearby is hard to beat. Although I didn't find anything particularly unique with this store, it did offer a lot more space in the isles and ample fridge stocked with plenty of cold meals to go. If you find yourself in need of good local organic groceries whilst in Bellevue this is the spot to stop.

Yelp
The service here is really poor. I arrived at 9pm and tried to buy a chunk of prosciutto. However the staff here told me he is about to close down and refused to cut prosciutto for me as he already cleaned the machine, although it is still one hour more for that department to close and two hour for the super market to close. I got a reply from the business saying the deli counter close 8-9pm. First of all that's not what I heard at the counter. The staff there told me Deli close at 10pm. Secondly, the information is not on Yelp.

Yelp
As busy and hectic as grocery shopping has become under COVID-19 what a welcome relief to have a new PCC at the new Wilburton location. Plenty of parking for the size of the grocery store and easy to get in and out of on 1 16th Ave. I've kind of started feeling like walking into Whole Foods is an Amazon experience when really I want a grocery store experience and the ability to get in and out safely and efficiently. This PCC store location does all of that well All of the staff seem to be awesome and could become good friends and welcome addition to the neighborhood just south of Lake Bellevue which is where I live Having a new Target upstairs probably doesn't hurt but this is a great new business location in the redeveloped Wilburton zone just south of 8th St and Lake Bellevue neighborhood I rate this high. Not 5 stars as it is not cheap so be careful what you throw in the shopping cart

Yelp
Local products, in house fresh deli offerings, hot food table (always kept fresh and rotating, hot soup table (5-6 selections daily), alternative dairy items for everything! Grass fed and free range meats. My favorite area is the vitamin/homeopathic area! They carry natural color dye brands, non sugar based toothpaste brands (not sold at typical grocery stores), juice &smoothie bar and espresso bar offering Matcha and Golden Milk. The produce is definitely seasonal, fresh, organic and hasn't been sitting in a cold storage for weeks. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I appreciate the workers here, they definitely make your experience personal.

Yelp
Kevin K was my cashier here. He was extremely rude, pushy and needs to be retrained on customer service basics. I know PCC just opened here in Bellevue and have been making efforts to bring in the community to their store, but Kevin certainly will detract from these efforts. Good luck PCC. I'll stick with Whole Foods.

Yelp
Rudest butcher ever. Just tell me you don't have any duck- keep your rude comments about my hometown to yourself (was wearing an east-coast sports jersey). Will not be returning.

Yelp
Huge place with lots of vegan ops. The stores fairly new so many things are still kinda new, meaning employees knowledges. Takes more time to walk cause parking lots huge. Been here few and still not sure how to park on lower level. Lots of elevators and escalators, so if you are tired, skip.

Yelp
I had similar experiences twice again when I went back to the store to do regular purchases. I've stopped buying the bottled milk here due to many hassles. This time I went with my kids and the cashier and the manager threw disdainful looks towards them. My husband went there alone one when he was in the area and had similar experiences. They only seem to want to service folks who are white(read European) and single and old. Other citizens don't seem to be welcome here. They also don't seem to have the Turkish Salad which all other PCC's have. I get the same brand of un-bottled milk in Whole Foods across 8th St and have taken my business there if I'm shopping in Bellevue. For the price they charge the customer service seems to be shitty here. The Redmond and Kirkland PCC still have excellent customer service.

Yelp
Spacious parking and plenty of variety. I especially love the cheese options and pastries!

Yelp
Delicious easy to warmup up healthy meals. Love the variety and flavors of the foods. It's similar to Whole Foods but much more organic items. Pricey but worth it. Highly recommend for a quick stop in for ready made meals to warm up, or fresh hot food on the spot!

Yelp
If I can rate as no star, I would. I ordered the food delivery twice via PCC website. My orders were not only delayed, but was hanging, both PCC third party delivery company and PCC itself did not know what was going on. I talked to a lady in customer service in store located in 11615 NE 4th St, Bellevue, WA 98004. She had a very bad attitude trying to argue with me about there is nothing to do with her/PCC. Basically it is not her or PCC's business. I asked to talk to the manager of the PCC store. The manager is the same way not willing to help and has a type of attitude of not of his business either. I had to find a phone number of PCC's third party delivery company to cancel my order. The entire experience was VERY BAD.
