Excellent store, but very high prices. Great selection of organic and natural products. But if you think Whole Foods is expensive, think again. PCC is even higher.

I love this store- even the drive is beautiful, depending on the route you take. This store has friendly and knowledgeable employees and is worth the extra distance, past some of the other stores for its great produce and poultry products. I was at FM the other day and paid the same price for sad looking, emaciated artichokes. As soon as I saw them, I wished I would’ve gone here- and should’ve honestly. The selection of mushrooms are always vast and look- I found lions mane! I thought I would’ve had to have taken a long walk in the forest before ever coming across it in the grocery stores, so that wasn’t cool. And once the blueberry theme hits- I’ll be there like I live there :)

The meat department is first class. Jesse and the crew are knowledgeable and helpful. The pork and lamb are outstanding. Higher grades and quality for a relatively reasonable price Not really a beef guy but but the cuts also look good Highly recommended

My go to grocery store! I love the selection of fresh produce and great variety of vegan options. The atmosphere is nice and staff is amazing, especially John. Always helpful and friendly. Their deli counter is superb!

PCC has always provided the BEST selection of healthy, clean and delicious products available in the market. This is the favorite PCC stores of all that are close. My comments ahead are directed toward PCC leadership and not this store. I’m curious how this new grab and go deli concept aligns with the org’s values, particularly conservation. From an outsider’s perspective it seems with all the containers that this concept creates more waste overall. It certainly misses the mark in customer service. Fast doesn’t necessarily translate to better service.

It was my first time at this location, PCC is my favorite store, so when I am visiting another city and see PCC, must go in, so store was very clean and well maintained, nicely designed, great products, fresh produce, fast checkout with good customer service, had great experience.

I appreciate the selection of organic, local, quality food at The PCC Community stores. I generally go to the newer Capitol Hill Store and am so pleased to have this store in my neighborhood. The check-out folks here are friendly and the folks in all the departments are very helpful, however about 3 times in the last year when the cashier needed to ask a question of the manager at the Capitol Hill store he definitely did NOT make me feel like I was a valued customer.

We love having a community PCC less than 5 minutes away from us. The store is always clean and well taken care of. We enjoy getting fresh vegetables, reverse osmosis water and anything else we can find!

I recently bought a membership to PCC and generally feel like they have good quality items, but today I came in and bought a container of precut watermelon and it had not only a super long hair in it (not mine, i have a short pixie cut), but also a fly. Guess I won the lottery. Still pretty grossed out. I had already eaten half the container, but I threw the rest away. I wish I had gotten a pic of the long hair but it went straight from my mouth to the trash. How do hairs and bugs make it past quality control anyhow?

I visited Edmonds PCC in search of a specific organic dried fruit which does not seem to be available at other grocery stores. I was assisted by an accommodating store employee who helped me locate 2 brands, one high-priced and one more reasonably priced. This is success! Also, found my fav organic chicken livers which will be available later in the week @ 4.99/lb. Love the produce department. So well done. Some items are pricey, but the variety is exceptional. Ambiance is delightful. As a side note, the produce department is artistically well-done. I found 2 fresh produce items (black plums and local plums) @ 3.99 and 2.99/lb respectively. I did not find these at either QFC or Safeway. I'm glad I stopped by.

Until your checkers/managers know how to handle a customer service situation, yelling at a client is not an appropriate or acceptable way to deal with something. Just because you're frustrated doesn't mean I should be yelled at if the protocol isn't clear. Until then I'll continue to call this the Entitled Edmonds PCC

1. Five stars for selection and being careful about its choice of products 2. 1 Star for not better managing patrons. Don't wear masks properly. The woman entered the store with a mask off of her nose. When I reminded her that she had it down she complained it fogs up her black glasses and it's hard to breathe with it so there. I spoke to an experienced cashier who spoke to her and then she put it on correctly. Though she then moved back down again. Bravo for the one checker who called her out on it. But the checker whose line she was in was younger and would not do anything. They have got to empower their checkers to Address those who are violating the law. This is for their own safety and the safety of all their shoppers. We are not going to stores that are not able to teach all their staff how to manage such situations. The woman was well dressed and with another woman who were the mask correctly. The woman clearly did not have a disability or reason why she should not be wearing it. She seemed quite entitled. This happened Sunday at 2:15 in the afternoon

Staff is great, products are fresh and nice quality, the hot bar and deli have a great selection. The actual groceries are more pricey than I'd like on a weekly basis, but I'll get ingredients here for making special birthday meals and WOW is the difference apparent. The store is very clean and well kept and they have great public restrooms and a space to the side to eat food indoor or outdoor.

PCC is my family and my go-to place for organic foods close to home at a fair and reasonable price. These days we tend to find produce, such as turnips, here that we are unable to find elsewhere nearby. Another example of recent is that of a few grocery stores we visited PCC was the only one we found to carry small lemons. The product selection is diverse and it can be easy to get sucked into window shopping and trying new things here. So we try to come with a targeted list to make sure we don't get too distracted. The hot foods area is great if you want to pick up something ready-to-go or ready-to-eat for lunch or dinner. Tofu, my oh my the tofu product selection is amazing. I went through a brief vegetarian phase growing up and this PCC was my favorite place to come to get tofu/non-meat protein products. Some of the products I found I enjoyed so much that I continued to eat them even when I went back to eating meat. This store used to have self check-out but does not as of current. Nice to have people interaction. Something to keep in mind if you are seeking to go to a store and have zero human interaction, this might not be the store for you. The cashiers and employees have been friendly and capable in my experience.

No matter what or how you eat you will find what you need and want at the PCC Market. In fact you'll find things that you never knew you wanted or needed, and occasionally things that you've never heard of that you'll find yourself gravitating toward wanting to try. I love the live food section. The kimchi is different but really good. The sauerkraut is absolutely hands down the best anywhere. I have shopped at the PCC for regular groceries but I usually find myself in the sections and have the pre-made food. I really appreciate the wide variety of salad and sandwich options. Every now and again I'll stop and grab breakfast for the road. The bacon is usually very crisp and tasty but twice I had to take it back in the store because it was flimsy and greasy. Otherwise, I've had no issues with what I've purchased at the PCC market. If you are a health nut already, or a wannabe, or if you just want good, healthy, clean food, this is a place you want to shop. It will definitely squeeze your wallet because the prices are high, but for being able to find food that you can count on being good for you it's worth it.

I came in starving for something I could cook quickly after biking 53 miles from Quilcene to Edmonds right before they closed...and was not disappointed. The store is clean and welcoming, everyone working in the store is friendly and helpful, and it's well stocked with all the best stuff. I ended up getting tortellini and sauce, but I could have easily bought $100 more worth of food if I could fit it on my bike. One of the store chefs even offered me some of their premade meals, but it had eggs in it (I've got a wicked allergy). This is the kind of place you want to find when you're hungry and want something quality. Also, they have a bike rack, but it's a little tucked away and hard to find.

Dont tell anyone ... but this place is full of hippies. Seriously. It's like 1969 teleported every person who had any interest in organic farming straight into the future and deposited them in Edmonds. How does patchouli smell after 50 years? Like patchouli (unfortunately). Regarding the products, I'm fine with the groceries. Hippie food, but still food. However, the cold bar and deli? Why are the folks making this food so adverse to flavor? Carob is not a flavor. Bland is not a flavor. I suppose lemon is a flavor, but dont leave it hanging all by itself. If I had a million dollars, I would spend $45 on salt and donate it to PCC so it could increase its annual seasoning budget by 200%. The hippies who work here are really nice though, and I'll keep shopping here because my wife makes me, but I really dont get it.

Not sure what is up with the person at the cash register, but he was really passive aggressive with my sister who went first to check out her items. My sister didn't hear him ask if she wanted her receipt (and i didn't either) since he kind of mumbled and well, we have masks. It wasn't even loud around us, so she said responded asking for the receipt and he said "yeah that's what I asked" with this really demeaning tone. It's like dude? why that attitude. Giving two stars because i thought their bees wax candles were cute but thats about it.

We shopped for our Thanksgiving meat and poultry here . The prime tenderloin of beef , which was about 50 dollars, was so tasty and tender.. one of the best roasts we have ever cooked at home. We bought a High quality turkey breast , which turned out beautifully. It was slightly less than 50 dollars for a 6 pound breast. I know that PCC has some really yummy prepared foods such as soups, salads,baked goodies , breads etc. If you want to splurge a bit on a special meal, I highly recommend shopping here. Comparing this store to Whole Fds, as it's price structure is similar , in my opinion, PCC beats the competitor for high quality produce, specialty milks, special or specific ingredients that can't always be found elsewhere. We like their selection of very high quality foods . This is a home chefs precious resource. They also have nice quality cleaning products, Papyrus brand greeting cards,an array of special soaps and luxury bath items. Bring your bag or bags with you, and enjoy this clean , well organized and well stocked store.

Beautiful, clean, spacious and bright, this PCC truly does not disappoint. The selection of baked goods, the deli and the yummy take-away options for meals are hard to resist. We love the opportunity to encourage our little one with a free piece of fruit/vegetable to enjoy while we shop. Friendly staff, and the few sales available to us were great reasons to come and enjoy this community market location.

1) Impressive selection of deli offerings, grow-sir-ease and community board cards. 2) Spacious enough for even a coffee stand. 3) Next to Robin Hood Lanes. 4) They should atleast have 2 Number 2 stalls given their size. 5) I wish the Seward Park location had #2.

Shopped at the Edmonds store today and can't help but feel disappointed and on advice that PCCs culture is changing for the worse. I'm a member and willingly pay a good bit more for groceries at PCC than I would if I shopped elsewhere. The value to me is largely located in the service, culture, and efficiency inherent in shopping there. I'm used to having PCCs butcher help when I need something cut, sliced, trimmed, etc. My upcoming trip out of town has me cooking salmon for a group and I requested that the 2.5 lbs of king I was going to buy have the pin bones removed prior to purchase. This is a typical service a butcher or fish monger will perform quickly and with great skill where I will inevitably make a wreck out of what was once a lovely piece of fish. The gentleman politely apologised saying that he wasn't allowed to do that; he couldn't de-bone the fish for me. It sounded like it was a matter of policy? Knowing that I can get this request accomodated at another high quality vendor tomorrow, I decided to pass on buying from PCC. What's truly galling is that the co-op's own ad copy states: "OUR IN-STORE BUTCHERS DON'T BELIEVE IN PRE-CUTS OR SHORTCUTS. Have you ever chatted with one of our in-store butchers? Questions are welcome -- and encouraged. Our butchers love to talk shop and give you the inside scoop on freezing, preparing and shopping for meat. If you don't know how to trim the fat off a chuck eye roast or debone a leg of lamb, or if you need something special, you can head to the meat counter and have your order trimmed and portioned to your preference. Plus, they grind each variety of meat in-store daily for the highest quality and freshness." That copy is patently misleading and quite honestly surprising in its contrast to what I experienced today. I'm taking my time to write tonight because I have a long history with the co-op. I have fond memories of the the culture, creativity, and service the staff were once encouraged to provide. Today reminds me that we vote with our dollars. There are numerous vendors that would have happily helped me today. Regretfully, PCC wasn't one of them.

This review is only specific to this location. I've been to many stores in Edmonds but this one takes a lion's share of ridiculous. Staff are not friendly, I get sort of a racist / elitist vibe from this place. Every time I've been here there is always a security guard or a cop standing by. This is Edmonds not downtown Seattle. The only crime taking place is the pricing and poor service. Also, when I order a full pizza it never fits the box at all. It's always layered over one slice over slice. That's just lazy, sloppy and poorly executed service. Also, I see lots of single slices left under a heating lamp for hours. I never get this level of service at the Fremont or the Greenlake location. At least at those location, there are actually friendly staff and the pizza is made right.

Re the deli: Used to love grabbing food here on our way to the ferry. This evening (2nd similar experience) 6 people working behind the counter, 6 people in line, 1 person working the counter. Everyone else standing there avoiding eye contact.... At least the food is over priced.

I continue to love this store and am so happy that it came to the area. I've been a long time fan of PCC but could not make it nearly as often when I had to drive to Seattle to access it. Its small enough that it does not feel overwhelming and is super easy to pop in and out of. The parking lot has become a little bit more hectic since they built some other things in the lot, but its still manageable. It has a large variety of products and always something I am hoping for. There is a nice dry goods area. We end up purchasing beer here frequently. I now get mostly all my of my food to take to potlucks from the deli area. Most recently everyone raved about the vegan potato salad and could not believe it had no eggs or dairy in it. I'm a fan of the steph's tofu and the emerald city salad as well. My non veg boyfriend loves that they have meat based items too. The soups are also good. I also often find myself substituting meals out to get food from the deli here instead. It does end up being a bit pricey, but is great to bring for picnics and every once in awhile some of the items are on sale. The outside dining area is a nice place to enjoy a meal too. If its too crowded there is some seating in the produce area as well. I have taken a few classes at this location and am always happy I did. My mother enjoyed her first experience as well. I look forward to the calendar coming out each quarter. I also highly recommend the walk, talk and taste classes if you have an interest in trying samples and asking questions. They have been doing some about different ones about topics like fermentation, dairy vs non dairy, etc. You can also find some coupons to save some money in the Chinook book which they sell in the store.

PCC, I adore thee. Thank you for having things like organic coconut ice cream, freshly baked German pretzels and yummy things to grab on the go. PCC is expensive as hell so I will hardly be coming in but I will be here for the few specialty food items I enjoy. To give you an idea, it's pricier than Whole Foods for the most part. You'll be paying what you would for dining out at a nice restaurant for things like chicken and beef so what's the point of buying it uncooked? However, there are some cool things here and if you're super into organic and vegetarian foods and have the checkbook to cover it, you might not mind. Check out the bulletin board area next to the restrooms to find out what festivals and such are going on in the area. Sparkling clean with a mid-size parking lot.

I go out of my way to shop here. It's unique and I'm happy to support a local grocery store. Try their chicken enchilada dish, paired with some Montucky Cold Snacks. Ohhhhh fuck yeah!

I enjoy visiting PCC community market. It is fun to explore all the fresh foods and the deli area for great food choices. Everything I have purchased in the deli and food bar has been delicious and fresh. My husband and I bought a couple chicken chalupas and they were incredible. I have only seen them there a couple times. I guess the chef decides when they want to make them. If you see them there definitely grab one up! They go quickly. You won't be disappointed . Wish I had a picture to show. I will take one next time if see them. Yum yum.

Though finding consistent food in the deli is a bit challenging the coffee is good and the staff are friendly. My only complaint is that there are so many cinnamon rolls int he bakery but not one is vegan or dairy free. =( I reccomend the Shot in the dark coffee and the curry chicken. Makes for such a yummt breakfast.

As always this is an excellent grocery store. A bit more expensive than QFC, Safeway or Fred Meyer but worth it for the specialty items and deli. I especially enjoy their wide range of non-dairy and meat alternative options.

Every employee I have spoken to is beyond sweet & so helpful. Very clean and I always feel comfortable. They also have the BEST vegan chocolate chip cookies ever!!

They took away self checkout to give customers the "sense of community". Now there is 1-2 check out lines available vs the previous 4 self checkouts. This makes the wait time at least double, and sometimes each line has 5 or more people waiting to check out. Some of us just want to checkout quickly without having to "chit chat" and talk about how our day is going. Please bring back self checkout! 4 stars for most fresh food and nice employees. 2 stars for no self checkout and soggy tomatoes, lettuce, and brown avocado in the cold pre-made sandwiches. Some cold sandwiches are old and shouldn't be sold for the same price as a fresh sandwich. They are super expensive to begin with and it's unfortunate when I bite into an old soggy sandwich. I now look at the tomato, lettuce and avocado to make sure it looks fresh before I buy or else I skip it.

A little pricey but the have the tastiest fresh-made sandwiches and wonderful pastries and cakes in their deli section! Not to mention their fruit and veg is super fresh and ripe and they really are a one-stop shop for healthy groceries. There is also a ChargePoint electric car station right out the front which is handy!

Love PCC markets! Great prices on organic produce, fresh fresh! Beautiful flowers and affordable prices. Lots on sale and good coupons. The people are super nice and will help you if they can. There is fresh sushi and the hot bar has fun yummy food with veg selections. Good coffee too, and tasties samples are out often. This is a great spot to stop on the way on and off the ferry.

I ordered my FRESH 12 lb Thanksgiving turkey about 2 weeks ago. Picked it up as requested Thanksgiving eve. However didn't realize it was partly frozen until the next day. Ummm I ORDERED A FRESH not FROZEN turkey, plus it was bruised. Lesson learned never will order from them. Picked up a $18.00 apple pie. Stupid on my part. I will be calling that store tomorrow!!!

This PCC is the only one in Snohomish County and the farthest location to the north in the chain. As PCC locations go, this is quite a nice store. I had no idea there was one in Edmonds but was glad to come across it while driving in the area. I stopped at this PCC to grab some lunch before heading to the waterfront to take some pics. This location seems larger than most of the PCC stores that I have frequented. I would say it is about the size of the Fremont store. They have a huge deli section with plenty of food choices to be had including plenty of refrigerated items that make it easy to pick up something to go. Was looking for a sandwich from the case. Unlike other stores, sandwiches at PCC are priced based on weight which gives you the option to pick out the one that works best for your budget and appetite. There is a good mix of meat and vegetarian options that will please everyone. The fresh mozzarella sandwich that I had was delicious. In addition to the deli, they have a bakery section as well as a coffee bar and a gelato case. The prepared foods section here is almost on par with Whole Foods, though it does not have as extensive of a selection of hot foods. The coffee bar selection does seem better however. In addition to coffee drinks, they have a self serve drip coffee area. There was more than one type of coffee to choose from including Tony's Coffee and Caffé Vita (Theo Blend!). The parking situation is great. The store has a large lot so you should not have a problem finding a space. And the location is just up the road from the Edmonds Ferry Terminal. Pretty much a straight drive. It is very convenient to grab something to go at PCC before or after the boat ride depending on where you are heading.

Why is this the first time I have walked into a PCC. It's a smaller, less expensive version of a Whole Foods (score!). E.g. Le Croix can of sparkling water $.99 at Whole Foods vs. $.49 at PCC. They have great natural, healthy pre-made and packaged snack options. Even got the vegan chocolate chip cookies which were really, really good. My husband couldn't even taste the difference! Would definitely recommend coming here for future option. Store is much smaller than a Whole Foods but has a great variety of items.

I love pcc. I go to pcc 3x a week at least on the eastside. Issaquah being my main store. I've been going for too many years but can't deny my absolute love for them. The only issue is I go into this Edmonds store since I was over in seattle visiting a friend and they must have a huge issue with stealing. I got judged immediately. Like what? I spend over half my pay check at your store and you have the audacity to think I'm stealing and make it obvious? The self check out guy runs over while I'm having my friend hold the pizza and I'm scanning all my actually expensive items first. And I got an issue where a pop up came on the screen so I step aside wait for him he comes up doesn't help me with the error on the screen but proceeds to ask me if I'm going to scan the pizza. What? How do you expect me to do that with this screen error sir. F off I'm not done scanning my other items first. Just because someone is standing there holding the pizza and helping me doesn't mean I'm stealing. I get the guys probably not super passionate about his career (I would love to work at pcc if it paid me the salary I deserve) and can't find any good grocery job but to discriminate someone is by far the rudest thing to do. I spend more money at the store you work at than you do. Next time you have a urge to accuse me of stealing why not come over and do your job first not wait for me to be like uh anyway fix my screen so I can proceed with scanning my items then yeah I'll get to the large pizza that I plan to skip bagging for anyway. If I was alone and he did that I would have cussed him out right then and there. But I'm a polite lady and didn't want my sweet boy to see me become a demon :)

Very well-equipped healthy food store. It has a strong feel of a small Whole Foods Store. We didn't actually buy anything here because I was looking for a specific tea flavor and while they carried the brand they didn't carry the tea flavor. Not their fault. We had a very good look around and everything was fantastic. Super helpful staff!

Even if I was a billionaire I wouldn't shop here all the time, I still prefer Whole Foods. But damn it all, that have some tasty bakery/deli items-- my favorite being the salads! Their staff is always helpful, anytime I have something going on they have some sort of natural treatment, like when I got horrible charley horses, they had a product to help me and it worked! And as everyone knows its very expensive, but you do get what you pay for here.

Love this store! The deli and hot food bar is exceptional. It's even better when you find out it's made in-store from scratch! Plus the ingredients are top quality. Customer service is awesome too.

One star because there is no customer service. The only time I've encountered an enthusiastic employee is in the vitamins and body/health area. They have a very nice selection of healthy organic products which I love, but I don't love anyone that works here, which is disappointing because the entire experience of shopping at this store should be a pleasurable one, and because of their very unfriendly staff it's not. My family has had a membership since the store opened and on a recent visit here after the dead weight at the cashier ringing up our groceries, we called and complained to the manager at the Edmonds location. Love love love my regular products here that are exclusive and will continue to come here for that, and since family is in the area this is the closest location, but they need to ask their employees to smile and ask their customers if they're finding everything ok and just make friendly conversation. It's as if their employees don't like talking to people or avoid any contact or feedback. Very bad and an F for employees at this location. They lack any customer service. Terrible!!!

I love this location. I've been to a few other locations but by far this one is the best. It's not too big and not too small! I've had quick lunch or dinner here few times from the hot deli section and my favorite is the balsamic chicken. It's so good-- I had to look up the recipe myself from the PCC website because sometimes loading too much food into your box can be costly ($8.99/lb). Last night I was walking around looking lost (lol) and an employee immediately asked me what I'm looking for and directed me to the right place. Kudos to him! After grabbing my food I went to sit by the window to eat by the fruit section and I was amazed by how wonderfully the vegetables and fruits were arranged. Also the smell of the fruits were so amazing and delicious I had a pleasant time eating while smelling them rather than smelling shopping carts.

love PCC...but, I just left the store--there were 2 lines open (the associates at the registers are back to back) & one was coughing and coughing and coughing--yes, she had a surgical mask on, but-where we're at with covid & how it spreads thru coughing-by allowing a person in that position to be coughing all day long while interacting with customers demonstrates poor care for customers & employees (including the 3 other people who were near her in that area..two were bagging). Unfortunately-lost my business.

Such nice employees, great cooking classes, positive atmosphere and good food! The man (Sean) who was cleaning the windows made my day, so cheerful and kind!

I love this store. The employees are extremely nice and friendly. Always a good selection. Just wish you'd expand with a few more vegan friendly options!

I mean let's be honest all PCCs rock there always clean and have some of the coolest healthiest stuff ever this one is no different great place check them out for sure

Good selections prices are a bit high. My only concern is their organic ground beefs don't stay fresh as long as it says it will! But still other food items are great their ready made bars are pretty good and their pastries are very tasty. Reminds me of mothers market it Orange County, Ca which I terribly missed when we moved and when we found PCC we were happy.

Definitely over-priced. The ambience is nice, so I enjoyed shopping here. I bought the membership, but i feel they can offer a little bit more goodies. There is no sushi here, which is weird since there is sushi everywhere else in the area.

Wow, the Soups are wonderful. Hungarian mushroom, Chicken Noodle, Tiger Mt Chili. Try getting some bulk granola in a soup cup and buying a 6 oz yogurt to dump in. Thats like $1.50 for lunch.

This review applies primarily to the pricing and service. The building is gorgeous, and nearly brand-new, I think. The parking is OK, if not great. And the selection appears to offer as good a lineup of produce, meat, fish, etc., as you can find around here. If you just want to get in and get that stuff, then you can safely ignore this review. They're right across the street from an established chain supermarket, in the nicer part of Edmonds where the view homes are. It's right on the main drag down to the ferries, in fact. It's a big building with a comically maze-like parking lot that couldn't possibly have been designed with keeping traffic moving as its prime directive. It seems to have been designed with the idea in mind that it would be different from parking lots in other supermarkets, and make you feel like you were shopping somewhere unusual even before you got out of your rig and actually started shopping. Oh, well. I guess people put up with what they're willing to put up with--but, seriously, the lanes here are single-file only, and you're asking distracted suburbanites to make sure they note the one-way arrows. I drove around and around, avoiding wrong-way drivers, trying to find a spot. Inside, there's a seemingly endless array of fine foods, with an emphasis on local, fresh, organic items, but aimed at foodies rather than health nuts (this is a long-established concept by now, not news--other supermarket chains do the same. Just an observation.). The prices are sky high, maybe the highest around, even with a WF up the hill now. Buying organic means supporting independent farmers and paying a bit more, but prices on many fruits and vegetables here range from double what you'd pay at a farmer's market up to five times as much, or even more, on some items (especially things that aren't quite in season yet, but are about to be). I'll pay more for OG, but FIVE TIMES as much? Come on, man. More irritatingly, the service here seems to focus more on knowledge than it does on actually interacting with customers. We needed to feed a bunch of teenagers, including athletes who eat a ton. To cook a meal for five, they suggested a pound of salmon. We misunderstood, and pointed out that only one or two of the kids could eat that much, and they laughed derisively and said that would be enough for five people total. We figured this was our misunderstanding and worked to place an order that would feed the kids and the grownups, and they continued to argue with us about our order--it was like they didn't want to cut off part of another filet and bruise the aesthetics of their fish case. It's not like they were busy, either. There were four of them, and we were the only customers. I don't mind misunderstandings, and I don't mind cockiness in small doses, but if we have to debate you at length in order to sell us the fish we want (which is a good money maker for you....), then why are we even here? I doubt we'll return.

Recently took a class here in Edmonds. Loved it! The store always clean and friendly people that work here.

I love PCC and have shopped here for years as a member. All their prepared food is really yummy with more or less organic ingredients! I have yet to eat anything I don't like. This is actually the ONLY supermarket where I enjoy the prepared food. Their recipes are just unique. LOOOOOVE THE PIZZAS! I always buy whole freshly made ones. You can select the different kinds offered or make your own. The produce always look great! Nice organic pomelos, that's hard to find. Somehow their organic bananas are the best. Great deal on quality bulk products. Pecans, walnuts and couscous are my favorites! I find all the nuts to be fresher and of higher quality than elsewhere so I always get them here. Love the seasonal fresh cakes from Macrina, lavender and blueberry ones are my favorites. People complain about price. But there's always sales going on, there's 5% off mid-month for 2 days, and for members 10% off once a month. The staff is usually friendly although I recently had some very bad experience with a certain Diane, loud and obnoxious cashier who usually acts like she owns the place. I brought a couple of deposit bottles and one of them was from Whole Foods and I didn't remember. "That's not ours" she half yelled pushing it away and giving a dirty look! Ok, whatever...Then another day, I brought a deposit 5 gallon spring water container. She was the only cashier available that early morning unfortunately so I had to go see her. "We don't take that for money" she yelled (YES YELLED !!!) Well, that is untrue! And this is out of line. I am not going to quarrel with this craaaaziness! I just left and then contacted James the store manager via their website. He responded politely. The next time I stopped by in the afternoon, Diane was there but this time I didn't hear her from afar. Thanks, James....This time, another cashier took the spring water container and added a credit to the amount purchased that day. Okay that was an unacceptable and shocking experience and as a yelper I get to share. But I have to be fair. That is not representative of what I usually experience at PCC. The other staff members have always been helpful and friendly. There's Cindy, Roland, and others that I don't know by name, but these folks make the store welcoming. A few years ago, the car battery died. It was night time and super cold outside. Teresa from the cosmetic department was kind enough to get her car and jump started my car. And she did all this without hesitation and with a smile. Hope I'll continue to see these folks at the store. And I do want to support a business that continues to set high standards. Higher than Whole Foods where quality have slightly gone south with lots of conventional stuff and produce from Mexico and staff working like robots since Amazon bought the business. Anyhow, back to PCC which seems like the last bastion of the coop type of business that values quality, sustainability, and all the good things. So five stars :)

This store is just down the street from us and feels like a second home as I'm there multiple times a day buying fresh produce for juicing or their daily soups or salads in the deli. They make is so easy to eat a healthy diet and the employee's are so friendly.

Now I know where to hang out when the lights go out again! MY GOODNESS!!! I think this power outage made my OCD worse! Joke... After 10 hrs of suffering and driving endlessly up and down Aurora Blvd and Hwy 99, I have had enough nonsense! I couldn't find any open stores but PCC. I realized I had no more water and no candles so I bought candles to last me for good six months. Hahaha! I'm ready for more Zombie days! Anywho, PCC for all of you who live around Edmonds, they have their own generator ppl. I thought I would have to go to my work and spend the night there if this nonsense continued! I'm just laughing about all this but really.... "Thank you PCC" for being around--for having water and candles (great candles--totally worth a buck twenty a pc.) I think I bought all of them. I'm very thankful you are in my neighborhood!!! :-) Great staff, clean, here in Edmonds! The best town in Seattle! Next review? Perhaps, PUD of Snohomish??? Maybe...hahaha
