PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theatre

I have only lived on the Central Coast for the past 2 1/2 years. I have seen several productions at PCPA and they never disappoint! Most recently, I saw their production of Frozen. The special affects, graphics and puppetry were all AMAZING! I use to live in the greater Los Angeles area and the productions here are some of the best I've seen! Highly recommend!

Attending Much Ado About Nothing at the Pacific Conservatory Theatre in Santa Maria was an absolute delight. The production beautifully captured the wit, charm, and depth of Shakespeare’s classic, immersing the audience in its world with a stunningly designed set that felt both intimate and transportive. The entire cast delivered exceptional performances, but I was especially captivated by Gideon Feinstein’s portrayal of Borachio. His character arc—shifting from a willing conspirator to a figure of remorse—was handled with nuance, making his journey particularly compelling. His performance added layers to Borachio’s role, showing not just the mischief but also the weight of his actions. Another standout moment was the way Hero’s character, played by Lilly Cameron, suffering was portrayed. The actress’s silent anguish spoke volumes, proving that sometimes the most powerful emotions are conveyed without words. Her presence on stage was hauntingly moving, adding to the play’s emotional intensity. From direction to performance to set design, this production was a testament to the power of live theater. It was a joy to experience Much Ado About Nothing in such a masterful and engaging way.

This facility holds unforgettable for life live performances the theater and the performances are a truly delightful that I feel everyone should get to experience at least once in life if not regulatory if I may say so myself there is growth for human dignity here ... Polished, professional theater. Excellent staging facility, cozy intimate theater on a college campus. Highly proficient and creative staff, supporting remarkable talented cast. Most worthwhile entertainment. Go, again, and again.

Outstanding performance by Emily!! Truly impactful...

Fabulous theater company, doing top notch work on the Central Coast of California. We enjoyed their recent production of Peter Pan. From the great sets and technical details (the flying was very well done), to all the actors showing tremendous aptitude and talent, it really is a jewel in Santa Maria. Go check them out!

There isn't a bad seat in the house. The ushers were very helpful and the place is really clean. They had great snacks and beverages at the break with plenty of time to stretch our legs. We'll be going back soon.
