PDJ (Pass D Jollof) Nigerian Restaurant

I tried this place twice for takeout and the food and service was awful. The first time I ordered, I came in and they said my order will be done in 5 minutes, and I came in when the order was set to be due. That became 40 minutes to get my food. The restaurant was not even busy. I decided to try them again and I got the nigerian fried rice with some beef. For $24, the amount of beef they gave was small. And half of it was not even edible, and it was chewy. The rice was full of oil and was alright.

I already know pass d jollof has terrible chef(s). However due to my intense hunger and cravings I decided to order again. First off try not to order off toast because my order was incomplete and no one to resolve that, pass d jollof’s line is always on voicemail. Moving on the beans I was sent is spoilt either the oil or the beans which obviously wasn’t cooked fresh and was left out so long before it was refrigerated and repacked to me. The chicken stew has a picture of local chicken on the website but guess what? I got sent two laps of chicken in tin tomato paste (I am willingly to put money on Walmart chicken at least try the hen). I think they also ran of suya pepper this evening, but at least the puff puff was nice. I am more pissed at myself than the company because I knew what to expect. I wish you guys the same thing I wish Airpeace airline — Serious minded competitors that know what they are doing so you guys can find your true passion and stop tormenting people. Cheers!

Great place. Chef came out to ask how everything was and it was all amazing. Will be hard to find better jollof for me. Really nice people and customer service was on point. Will go back and explore more of the menu

Pass D Jellof was such a great place to bring my family! We all loved the food – everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a family meal. The staff were so welcoming and made sure we had a great experience. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, which added to the overall enjoyment. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back soon!

Pass D Jellof is amazing! The food was packed with flavor, and every bite was delicious. The atmosphere was great – definitely a vibe – and made the whole experience even better. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus, the place was really clean, which is always a big plus. I’ll definitely be coming back!

soooo, my bf and i have been dying to try african food, esp the fufu.. unfortunately our hopes were really high and we were let down. it wasn’t horrible, but it just wasn’t satisfying. to start, the atmosphere was great. the music was nice and the customer service. prices are extremely high for what they give you. the portions were alright, but the price just isn’t worth it. i got the egusi soup with tilapia bc i saw people online recommend it, and i was let down. my boyfriend and i are no where near picky eaters, but this wasn’t exactly great. he finished most of his meal and we both enjoyed the fufu. i was enjoying my meal for the first couple bites and trying to adjust to the flavor and such, but the smell just made me lose my appetite and the texture of tripe and cow skin 😭😭. i also ordered 2 meatpie , and did not receive them but my bf and i just said forget it and left because we didn’t want to be let down more. im up to try this spot again and i suppose try something different from the menu, but honestly the other reviews i’ve been seeing have said similar things, so now i think maybe next time i just have to really read reviews and pick wisely. we left and took our food to-go with no plans on eating it anymore, instead we had hopes to find someone around who would possibly enjoy the meals because we did not want it to go to waste. i understand this is a type of cultural restaurant and such, but for the price and quality, i can’t say it’s amazing.. but i hope it was just the day we went that went wrong because i really wish to give it another try. we spent over $100 in total, keep in mind it was only 2 of us ! 😬

Pass D Jellof has a great lounge vibe, perfect for relaxing and enjoying amazing food. After dining here, I’m excited to use them for business catering. The food is delicious, and the staff are professional and attentive. It’s the ideal spot for entertaining clients or hosting events. Definitely looking forward to working with them!
