We tried PDQ for the first time this evening. I had the Southern Pimento Crunch chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Pimento cheese, BACON, Lay's potato chips. It is sinful. Bailey the store manager is very friendly & accommodating. Highly recommend this location.

We have visited this location many, many times. Today I brought the kids after school and my bottomless pit 10 year old girl said i want the honey butter sandwich combo and could I get an additional sandwich? Keep in mind the sandwiches are big. I said sure as she has actually eaten 2 before. It wasnt meant to be today. But we have it left over for later and she will eat it. My other little one got the 3 tender combo meal. She had leftovers. I ordered the 5 tender meal and it was delish. I got the upgraded tots with that cheesy sauce and chives and fritos. Sounds weird but it works. This location at Lakeline and 183 is my favorite. I have eaten at the Cedar Park one and it is good but this is our favorite. Plus it is close to the kids school and they have half price shakes between 3 to 5. So if kids are feeling down or we need a treat, we go and are they good? They are great!! If you like Chickfilet, you will love PDQ.

Google
Ive had the tenders, zucchini fries, pimento cheese(on a sandwich) , lemonade, chipotle bbq dipping sauce, cookies. The flavors for all are awesome. You can definitely taste naturalness in pdqs Chicken vs (say a) Popeyes or McDonald's.etc. My only COMPLAINT, at THIS LOCATION, is the with service. Ive been to THIS LOCATION twice and each time ive had to return my food. 1st time, the zucchini fries where to salty. The second time, the chicken in the sandwich was cold. But I would say the flavor is good. I have NO ideal if it's just this location or others. Just BEWARE. Otherwise its nice to have a "Healthier" fast food option! Enjoy All!

Google
Saw this place on Instagram a few times and finally decided to try it out. The chicken tenders are fresh and seasoned well. They have a variety of sauces they make in-house that go well with the chicken. I wish they had one of these closer to where I live but I will definitely go back to this place in the near future.

Never again... the sandwiches were small and bland and the fries were room temperature. We waited a pretty good while for our food and warm it up ourselves. The only thing good was the customer service and looking at the food before eating it.

Google
Great Food, Service & Super Clean! Can't say enough great things about this specific location. Food was fresh and hot. Gave me extra sauces without having to ask for them. Bathrooms super clean! And service was great. Everyone there asked if we needed anything and very polite. Parker runs a tight ship and was very attentive to customer needs. Love PDQ!

Google
Great location and staff. A little more expensive than Chick Fila, but much better quality. Highly recommend the broccoli and zucchini fries as healthy, but delicious alternatives to French Fries.

Definitely delicious and great service! Super clean and great environment! They even have a fountain hand washing station!

Yelp
I've loved canes every time I go there. People are friendly like always, the chicken is really good, I love the fries and everything is greasy. However I am 14 years old and can eat the caniac combo like it's nothing, I love this place perhaps one of the best fast food places because ITS FINGER LICKIN GOOD!!

Summer P.

Yelp
This is the third time we've gotten food at this location and like many of the other reviews on here- our chicken was not what we expected. Our fries were not salted whatsoever, the plainest I've ever had. The chicken as I mentioned was soggy even after having asked for it to be extra crispy. The tray below the soda fountain was over flowing with ice and looked like it hadn't been cleaned out. Lastly the service was no where near as welcoming as other canes I've been too.

Justin C.

Yelp
Have not had Canes in a year or two, portion sizes are waaaayyyy smaller. Used to be full off the three piece, just got the box combo and it was about a small handful of fries and chicken strips half the size of what they used to be. Please staff, add some extra fries at least. Make the meal at least filling. I promise they won't notice if you up the fry count a bit. it would be a public service to us all . The Caniac Combo Is the only decent sized meal now, please don't make us pay that much every time for what used to be the three finger sized meal.

Yelp
I never thought I would end up trying a Raising Cane restaurant but I'm really glad I did. My wife and I were starving and wanted to grab something quick, and raising canes was a good option. Here's what I liked: menu was super simple because there was only a few choices, staff were friendly, and food was great. Here's what I didn't like: the menu didn't have things that a normal fried chicken place had like hot sauce, there also wasn't enough variety but again that's not a huge deal considering everything tasted great, their sauce is good but it's heavily overrated and parking wasn't the best layout at this location. If you're looking for chicken I'd definitely recommend going at least once just to make the determination for yourself.

Yelp
I placed an order with someone who seemed newer. Asked if I sub make a sub or add coleslaw. Took a few double takes and said I needed to add. No promblem. Asked to add it. Food came an no coleslaw. I told the person bringing out the food. He looked at receipt and said it wasn't added and left it at that. Didn't offer to ask if I still wanted. Asked if i wanted to pay to add or even just fix it. No one here seems friendly. Would not return

Meghan O.

Yelp
I really liked the service , but the food was like barely cooked slimy chicken in a coat of crisp. I really wanted to love it, but maybe cook the chicken more? For a place that only does chicken ..: you would think they have it down pat?

Naomi S.

Yelp
How could anyone leave a bad review for this place. The tenders came out hot. The fries were fresh. The bread delicious. And the sauce! Man it's all about the sauce. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean as well as the drink station.

Dian W.

Yelp
I placed a curbside order for a later pick up giving them plenty of time to prepare our food. I showed up at the designated pickup time, checked in and then waited for over 20 minutes. Not one employee brought out food or checked on us. I finally called and the girl who answered said oh yea, we will be right out. Our food had been sitting there for who knows how long. Our food was cold, ice was already melted in our drinks. it was my son's birthday and we had waited forever. I get home and my husband called to complain. she told him if he could bring it back they would help us. We had company taht was not an option. The manager said she would give us a refund and would received within 1-2 days. We called to check the status and was told by another manager m they could not process a refund, we would need to contact home office. After being tossed around to now 4 people, the last person asked my husband to see our bank records to prove we had not received a refund. Then said they send us a check. I do not trust this will be handled as we are still waiting and no resolve. Caleb was the last person we spoke with and said he is the highest person in the company and he doesn't have a boss. He refused to hellp. When my husband asked his last name, he refused. He refused to give anyone's contact information. He was snide and condescending to my husband. Customer service is horrible.

Yelp
Quality should be the same at noon as it is at 10:00 pm but not at this location. Had great chicken yesterday for lunch. Tonight it was terrible, obviously not properly breaded and seemed a bit stale even though they were quite busy. Fries were cold and soggy. I guess this isn't the place to stop after the game.

O.-E. T.

Yelp
Occasionally on Saturdays there is a large order placed to be picked up by a business from this location. Today was one of those days. Paid for honey mustard, received 0. Received NO KETCHUP AT ALL FOR OVER 14-15 caniac combos. Even after the employee was alerted to make sure they were present. ATTENTION TO DETAIL LIKE CONDIMENTS WHEN YOU ARE PREPARING A LARGE ORDER SHOULD BE STANDARD. The customer should not have to go through every single box to make sure the job is done correctly. Especially with such a large order like this. DO BETTER.

Simeon D.

Yelp
I've tried this location several times, hoping they would finally get my order right, but it's never correct. I clearly ask them to make my chicken and fries extra crispy, yet every time my order is wrong. Tonight, my fries are extra greasy and the chicken is not extra crispy. Every other location I visit--whether it's on Whitestone, Riverside, MLK Blvd, Bee Cave, or even down in Houston--the food is always extra crispy and made right! What's the issue at Lakeline? I'm officially done with this location.

Judy C.

Yelp
Not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. For a quick lunch, I came to this location near my relative's house. The menu is simple and the staff friendly. The food comes out quickly and is freshly made. Overall, everything is good but nothing terribly unique to drive out of your way for. The breading on the tenders is crisp and light, not greasy but not very flavorful as you're expected to dip the tenders in the Cane sauce. I like the Cane sauce because it's a bit peppery. Everything else seemed pretty standard. Come here if you're nearby, but don't go seeking for it.

William S.

Yelp
Chicken strips are small, stiff and consistently dry. Without a sauce of some kind, and drinking a lot of beverage, we would probably have choked on them. Dry, dry, dry. Yet sauce is just mediocre, It's something like a blend of ketchup, mayo and a lot of pepper. Yet they act like it's magical and they are so proud of it. Chic Fil A sauce is much better, imho. Fries are bland and tasteless. Cole Slaw is crap and unedible. Toast is ok and best menu item. Do not recommend.

Jim P.

Yelp
My family and I love their chicken fingers, fries, sauces an, Texas Toast. The crew members are exceptional and the restaurant is very clean. The atmosphere of the restaurant is bright and cheery.

Thu T.

Yelp
Surprisingly delicious. We were a bit hesitant to try a chicken tender/finger place since PDQ, our favorite chicken tender joint was closed. Raising Cane's is good. Chicken is crispy and so is fries. Coleslaw is a bit runny and mayonnaisey. Sweet tea is amazing!!!!! Loveeee the pellet ice maker.

Samantha L.

Yelp
If I could rate a no star I would, I went by for my first time tonight and it was terrible. Teen kids being so rude, I asked for my food to be fresh because of course I'm feeding a toddler.. and guess what? It wasn't.. not trying to be a Karen but my first visit I'd like it to be great.. I then contacted the manager on duty and was told she could remake a box?? Girl why not remake my whole order?? This is insane on how the food industry is...

Robert T.

Yelp
Everyone knows that Cane's has great chicken. Whenever I ask the crowd where to go for fast food, Raising Cane's is always on the list. Great chicken, great fries, amazing sauce. What people aren't aware of is that Canes has some of the best iced tea in Texas. My son was married this weekend, and we were responsible for beverages at the reception. We ordered 10 gallons of ice tea. We had to order ahead, because they make it fresh, and generally only have 4 to 5 gallons made at a time. Raving reviews. Always, always get the iced tea. You won't be disappointed.

Rashaka B.

Yelp
I don't understand the humor of this place at all. They have some of the rudest employees working here. They cut you off. They would rather have internal conversations over customer service. They mock orders. Maybe it is the youth, this service style is awful.

Phoebe B.

Yelp
This Raising Cane's is the best one yet! Not only do they have the friendliest staff but they are the most efficient! If we eat in....clean dining area...and nice clean restrooms, or if we drive through the food is hot and delicious every single time! I also love that when you go through the drive through they rhyme "what's kickin' want some chicken?" Lol. And if this isn't great already they have such a huge heart for their community and I see them consistently giving back! I love Cane's @ Lakeline

Cecilia H.

Yelp
We went through the drivethru and our food was hot and fresh- the best we've EVER had at a Raising Cane's it's usually cold and dry, very off putting. This was everything you hope to get at such a popular restaurant.

Bernie K.

Yelp
I ate at the original location in Baton Rouge many times after some late nights at the Varsity. That was 15+ years ago. This location makes me wonder why they say everything is bigger in TX because man, these fingers have shrunk! Still tasty but nowhere near as much chicken as you used to give out. :(

Blitzout L.

Yelp
there's a whole fly on my drink that i never opened till now and see this service is bad and disgusting hygiene, dude playing with hair and scratching himself while handing food‍ food was mid too Won't be coming here anytime soon neither will my associates

Mark H.

Yelp
Have ordered chicken tenders here three times now. Each time my order is WRONG. The tenders, fries and toast are as good as other Cane's but there needs to be better management. I'll be back - BUT I'll always check my order lol. Three stars for mediocrity.

Chris T.

Yelp
Food smelled strong like smoke, this is the second time I have had this experience... This location is nasty

Chris H.

Yelp
I was in line for probably 10 minutes which is very unusual. I got my food and everything smells and tastes like smoke... If you're going to be careless enough to burn something major enough to coat everything in smoke or start a fire, at least let the customer know before they choose to pay?

Gregory S.

Yelp
The Cashier was very friendly and nice I just came in to Purchase a Shirt which the price was very reasonable for the shirt the inside of the restaurant and outside was very nice it is a good location

Korey A.

Yelp
No clue why the low review here but this is husband's favorite chicken place. Before they came to Austin, he would make us drive out of the way on trips just to go find one of these. When this location opened we were pretty excited because it's closer than the Whitestone location. Now, we don't go all the time because fried food isn't the healthiest but we love how fresh the food is. I went today and the girl at the drive through was super sweet and chatty. At Canes, you don't have a ton of choices... it's chicken, fries, Cole slaw, bread and cane's sauce. The Cane's sauce is the best. Sometimes I wish I had more because I like it on the fries and chicken. I also recommend paying a little extra to upgrade to lemonade.

Skylar M.

Yelp
Forgot my Coleslaw, really heartbreaking. Tenders are okay, I would recommend going to the Cane's on Whitestone instead.

Mary C.

Yelp
First time trying Raising Canes. Had high hopes but was sorely disappointed! Chicken strips were small and basically the same size as my short fingers! The fries were bland and tasteless. Coleslaw was lukewarm instead of cold and not tasty at all. The sauce and the toast were the only things worth eating.

Leslea S.

Yelp
Today I came to get lunch for me and my daughters. I forgot to order extra sauce, something we normally order. I said this to the lady at the window "I'm so sorry I forgot to order extra sauce is there anyway I can pay you for some now?" She said sure, charged me .87 and then the manager comes storming out the window with his headset and glasses telling me "if you want extra sauce you need to order it at the beginning". I'm sorry but how freaking rude can you be to someone! It wasn't even a dollar and it wasn't even something they have to cook.
