I can’t say enough about how great Neel Jain and his fellow volunteers are. They really helped a lot during a time when i was unable to leave my home for months due to serious health issues. After months of ordering groceries online, I was suddenly finding it impossible to schedule any grocery delivery service at all. I couldn’t even get a slot a week ahead. Then one evening I saw a story on the local news about Neel Jain and his new service. According to the report, they didn’t deliver to my area of town so i emailed Neel and asked if he’d keep me in mind in case they expanded to my area later. He immediately answered and said he’d try to find someone who would deliver to me. Long story short, the very next day, several of Neel’s volunteers took my order and delivered my groceries. They were kind and courteous, bought just what i needed and brought it all to my door. They asked for no tip and left a sweet note. It was wonderful having fresh food again, but it was even nicer how this unexpected kindness touched my heart. This experience gave me a sense that, with young people like these, the future would soon be in good hands.,

In these days, customer service can be hit or miss, so when it is consistently excellent, it makes it easy to offer a review. PDX Concierge provides prompt and courteous service. Volunteers are careful to follow pandemic guidelines. Neel Jain is proactive and professional, making the effort to follow up every time to learn if the service has been satisfactory. Kudos to this group for meeting an important community need during this difficult time.

All of PDX concierge have been truly wonderful to work with. They have been helping our family with grocery shopping at our favorite stores when we are not able to due to our medical conditions. They take the time to get everything that is on my list each time. Most helpful and much appreciated is when they are able to text me when they are at the stores to let me know what is not available and let me pick alternatives. This group of young volunteers is kind-hearted, caring and really want to help others. They are the best!! I recommend them without hesitation!!

As an older adult helping a relative undergoing cancer treatment I was so glad to see a sign posted for PDX Concierge. The two volunteers I talked with were patient, responded quickly, answered all my questions and reassured me along the way. They shopped at a favorite market that does not have delivery so I was able order some favorite foods that I was missing. My groceries were delivered as arranged, and with no extra charges. I admire and appreciate these young volunteers for taking the initiative to help people needing assistance. My experience was excellent.

He called me while shopping to ask for replacements for items that were not available at store. He got everything on my list (or replacements for items that were not available). He was friendly, professional, on time and picked out good quality produce. Thank you for your help, Neel!

Neel and his team have shopped for us several times and we're very impressed with their professionalism and caring. They do an excellent job choosing items on our list.

Neel and his other helpers such as Carmen are truly angels! This service allowed me to get fresh food and groceries to my door in a way that I can afford. As a person who is highly immune compromised and with chronic health issues, this service is a lifesaver! They exceeded all expectations with their great communication and patience to assure I got items I needed and to assure their service worked for me in my particular situation. I feel our community is so blessed to have these folks who are looking out for the most vulnerable and are service minded to the highest level! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I'm so grateful for PDX Concierge! I'm considered high risk and also don't have a car and haven't taken TriMet since mid March. I was having to use an app to get groceries delivered and my favorite store wasn't an option. Now I can get my favorite items from my favorite store!! They all have been very professional and kind and helpful. I love they will text me from the store to give me options if something I requested is out or if they aren't sure if it is the right item. Thank you!!

This is a great grocery delivery service! Glad to see that the at-risk members in the community are receiving help.

I am especially vulnerable during this pandemic and COVID-19 has created unexpected financial and safety challenges. Like many unsung hero's Neel Jain, founder of PDX Concierge, is providing ready solutions for the most defenseless in the community making grocery delivery both accessible and affordable. Shopping today requires ability to navigate technology, stamina and disposable finances. I am technologically challenged. I do not have smart device instincts, this isolates me creating tremendous mental and physical stress. Market driven online grocery services are a great option for some but I have never shopped for groceries online. Doing so now is particularly confusing, chaotic and futile. Most importantly, I do not have the finances to tip generously. Without PDX Concierge, I would be risk shopping in person. Retail markets have "senior" hours creating the opportunity for a safer shopping experience for the vulnerable. Recently I waited outside in the rain for over an hour only to then panic that I was not moving quickly enough while following a one-way route through every aisle to purchase three essentials. I waited another 45 minutes in the check-out line. I do not have the stamina to shop under the current crisis. I repeat, Without PDX Concierge, I would be risk shopping. Neel Jain is passionate and really dedicated to helping out. He is prompt, attentive to details (proper size and brand requested) capable of locating unusual items, articulate, honest (receipt matched items delivered and genuinely invested in his project. He is remarkable. And that's a big statement about how great our community is because of people like Neel and his team.
