I just got back from this place, and I told myself- I NEED TO WRITE A REVIEW ASAP! The place was great, clean, and so inviting ON SO MANY LEVELS! They make sure you feel LOVE ♥ I mean free pastries (Danish & Muffins) free coffee or hot chocolate, & oatmeal for your guest- Is something rare nowadays. The have a little cute area/dinning Cafe where you can enjoy the available FREE treats. The rooms were super clean, the pool and Jacuzzi were available until 10pm as well as the gaming area which included golf, the BIG connect four, and Cornhole. They have very nice fire pits (Which we enjoyed after a long walk at downtown Solvang) Nice seating areas outside and oh FREE ICE! This place was so perfect on so many levels, it was about a 5 minute drive to Downtown Solvang (no more than 10 minutes) The price for the room was cost effective- you are provided with a card which gives you discounts at some places and a FREE WINE TASTING for 2. We got 3 rooms- therefore 6 FREE WINE TASTINGS ♥ RESERVE YOUR ROOM HERE- YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU DID.

Google
Great location and value for money. Although it rained every day and we didn’t use the pool, hot tub, putting green or cute outside seating with fire pits, I would 100% stay here again. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast danish pastries/muffins and coffee is a nice touch and there’s even guest laundry facilities. You can’t beat the location and easy parking. It’s super quiet at night and the beds are comfortable.

The hotel was extremely clean and beds were very comfortable with wonderful linens. Employees were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure that we had what we needed. Location was perfect. We will highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

Google
This was a super cool Inn. We loved the pool and hot tub. The fire pit lounge, miniature golf, and connect 4 were also a nice touch for the kids. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. The refrigerators were on the small side but worked well. The price was very affordable and the kicker is the complementary breakfast, which is not a full buffet but just enough to get the day day going. The staff is very friendly and helped relocate a toad/frog that jumped into the pool. It is close to 101, 10-15 minutes to downtown Solvang, 30 mins to the beach. They also have deals with local restaurants that we used (Pizza). We will definitely be back.

Google
We stayed here for 1 night as part of a Californian road trip.||Our room was comfortable and adequate, although the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work and there was no body lotion in the dispenser marked as such.||At USD205 per night I would suggest that this place is overpriced. The outside of the hotel is a little run-down and could do with a repaint. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy. Some of the electrical outlets in our room did not work. There is a breakfast provided: coffee, juice (orange and cranberry), very sugary pastries/danishes and Quaker Oats.||If I were to stay in the area again I would probably look to stay somewhere else given the price charged for this very average motel.

Google
Family friendly, centrally located inn is a no frills, simple yet detailed, comfortable and extremely clean place to rest and refresh. I stayed here on my drive up from San Diego and it was a safe and peaceful place to rest my head at night. Also, The staff is so kind- you can tell they care about their guests. I would absolutely stay again. 10/10

Google
Stayed at Pea Soup Andersen’s Inn and had a very pleasant experience. The location is convenient, close to Solvang. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, with everything we needed for a short stay. The property has a nice courtyard and pool area that adds to the charm. Staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. A solid choice if you’re visiting the area and want a cozy, affordable place to stay.

Google
This place is wonderful! Many amenities like a pool, hot tub, and fire pit. Pure, filtered tap water, which was a big plus. Very affordable and there is complementary breakfast. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is very friendly. Loved this place, will not stop anywhere else if I am ever in the area again.

Yelp
Not sure how this outdated, run down poorly kempt motel gets good reviews. By far, the WORST experience at a motel or hotel in my 60 years. We arrived at 5:30 AM after fleeing the fires of Los Angeles. We needed a place to stay for a few nights trying to stay out of harm's way. Gama was very friendly and welcoming and did his best to take care of us, find us a room and let us check in early considering the circumstance. This was 5:30 am on Saturday and he gave us until noon Sunday for the price of one night. Very kind. BUT, we went to our room, at first everything seemed fine, until.....the beds. UGH. VERY uncomfortable, not firm in the least, so soft you sink into it and can't get out, and the sheets and bedding COVERED in a smelly cleaning product. it was nauseating. I couldn't sleep a wink in this bed even though I was exhausted. The sheet and blanket smells were giving me a headache. I tore the blankets off the bed to just lay on the flat sheet to decrease the stench and what do I find on it? POOP. Yeah.....fecal marks on the sheet. We gathered up our stuff that we loaded into the room put it ALL back into the car and went down to the front desk. By this time it is six hours later and the nice guy was off duty and instead was a frowny blonde-wigged woman with a mean look. We told her how uncomfortable we were and were leaving without any sleep and sickened by the sights and smells. She wouldn't give us a discount even after only being there for six hours, so we paid and we left. We will never return and I warn anyone going there that needs a clean FIRM comfortable bed. FORGET THIS PLACE. It's had its heyday and is running on fumes. Literally.

Yelp
We had a great stay at Anderson Inn. We went to visit Solvang for the holidays and our anniversary and decided to stay here. Check-in was nice and easy. Tom was so welcoming and warm and made us feel so comfortable staying there. They have a pool, hot tub, and a few fire pit tables! Loved our stay here.

Yelp
We went to Solvang for a road trip and decided to spontaneously stay overnight. We were so glad to have stumbled upon this place and we have no complaints at all. From the Solvang town proper, it was a smooth 6 minute drive going to the inn. The location of the inn was close to gas stations, a grocery, a pharmacy and other fast food chains. Upon check in, we were warmly greeted and given the cards to our room. The staff also gave us a "passport" that included discounts and freebies around the area of Solvang. The room was clean and has everything you need for a few nights stay. They also have a heated pool and jacuzzi that we absolutely loved!!!

Yelp
Clean room, reasonable price, conveniently located, and a nice courtyard with activities and a pool. Stayed here with a group of friends for an overnight road trip to Solvang. I'd stay here again. Right on highway 246 which leads to Solvang and just off the 101.

Yelp
Just to be clear, this is not 5 star hotel but definitely a 5 star motel in its class and price range. All the staff is very friendly, nice, and happy to help. The amenities are awesome! They have a pool and jacuzzi, a little mini golf, cornhole, and fire chat tables. In the morning they provide danish pastries and muffins along with oatmeal, coffee, and hot chocolate. Convenient location- very close to downtown Solvang, Mission Santa Inez, and the Ostrich farm. There are lots of restaurants and gas stations, and it is right across from the hitching post restaurant from sideways. Rooms are clean and standard with two Queen beds, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. Great value!

Yelp
I wanted to visit Solvang so I stayed at this hotel which is about 5-10 minutes away. The check-in process was smooth and there was free parking around the exterior of the hotel. The interior of the room was a little run down and outdated. My room had a microwave, fridge, and a balcony overlooking the courtyard. There was a TV in the room but didn't have a ton of offerings besides local and basic channels. Some amenities included a swimming pool in the middle, a putting green, corn hole, chairs and tables. There was complimentary breakfast but was just Danish pastries, muffins, and coffee. The pastries reminded me of toaster strudels; I'm not sure if they were store bought (probably) but they actually tasted pretty good. The hotel is within close proximity to Solvang which is the main attraction of the area. It's also about 45 minutes from Santa Barbara if you want to make that drive to a larger city. The actually town where this hotel is located (Buellton) doesn't have much, but this hotel has the basics.

Yelp
Stayed here this weekend! Can't recommend this place enough! Super clean rooms, great price, and friendly staff! Was in town for a mini family reunion so had all of my family stay here too. Our rooms were grouped together so it made our experience even more fun! The breakfast pastries were delicious! Will be back!

Yelp
This place was awesome and nostalgic. Grew up coming when visiting Solvang. The pea soup was great!! Wish the restaurant was still open in Buellton, California.

Yelp
SUPER clean, rooms are spacious with all the amenities available. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker for 2 cups of coffee, hair blower, iron with ironing boards, and towels are all available. We had a table in ours, and multiple drawers with even a closet. Body lotion, hand soap, 2-in-1 conditioner and shampoo, and body wash are in dispensing containers. We love that they have temperature control in the room. We used it to heat up the room and it was perfect. They had a TV with a DirecTV remote. We didn't use it though, so I don't know how it works. They do everyday housekeeping here unless you put a Do Not Disturb sign, and the housekeepers always left decorative things for us to find. Tap water is good to drink! There was also an ice box for us, though we didn't need to get ice. Bed was comfortable too! Complimentary breakfast was nice in my opinion. It was juice, coffee, and pastries from the Olsen bakery in Solvang, and honestly, that's enough for me. As all the reviews have mentioned, the courtyard is nice. They also have a well-maintained pool and a jaccuzi. We didn't use it because we went in the middle of December, but it looked clean and inviting. Because we went during the holidays, they gave us a pamphlet with all the things we could do in Santa Ynez Valley. They also gave us a "Pea soup Andersen passport," which had discounts for local eateries, wineries (a couple had free tastings), and activities in the area. It is also so conveniently located, because it is about 8 minutes away from Solvang, 45 minutes from Santa Barbara. It is right next to a gas station too. Overall, my partner and I only have good things to say, and we will definitely choose this place again.

Yelp
Closed permanently. Tourists try and argue with me that it is not but, I have been told by several locals it will never open again as the owners lost interest. Sad, it was fun and pretty darn good food.

Yelp
I am sad to announce the following 100-year-old California Pea Soup Andersen's closes without public notice Jan 2024. This was confirmed by 3 new sources. The building is going to possibly be redeveloped for housing The Interstate 5 location of Pea Soup Andersen's in Santa Nella remains open and ready to serve weary travelers. So you will need to travel north for that Pea Soup fix
google avatar

Stacy D.

Yelp
Just heard they are tearing this place down and rebuilding !? :( Sad cause it's so vintage but glad we got to visit last Nov 2023! Best danish's ever !
google avatar

Zach P.

Yelp
Cool spot for a themed motel. However, even though they share the same name, they are not affiliated with the Pea Soup Restaurant which is next door. Room was clean and had everything you needed. Rates were very reasonable, especially compared to Solvang which is only a 10 minutes drive from here. There is a pool and jacuzzi where we spent some time in the evening to relax after a long drive.

Yelp
This was an OK hotel. We arrived after check in time and our room wasn't ready yet. The concierge did tell us it was going to be ready in 5 minutes.. He also told us to take a drink or snack I think for the inconvenience, but we didn't get any. I think it took longer than that, so we decided to go to walmart in Lompoc to kill time and to also buy swimwear to swim in their pool. We finally got to our room and immediately noticed that it looked old. We were expecting a room with hardwood flooring like in the expedia pictures (we booked through Expedia). I believe some rooms are newly remodeled and I was hoping to get in one of them. Our room wasn't the cleanest, but wasn't dirty either. The thing I did not like here was the bed. It was sooo squeaky! I definitely didn't have a good sleep because every time my husband would move, I would be awaken by the squeaky noise. And everytime I would move, I'd have to do it so slowly so my kid and husband wouldn't be awaken either. They also have complimentary coffee/juice and pastries from a local bakery Danish bakery which was nice. When we used the pool, it was nice and clean and also heated which is so nice because we were able to swim at night even with the cold weather. I also want to mention that we stayed on the second floor and we noticed the staircase was old and dirty and the lights were not bright at night (potentially dangerous for elderly and kids) i think they should renovate the stairs too and the rest of the older rooms. I would come back but would like to stay in the newer rooms and hopefully the beds there don't squeak. Sorry no pictures, we were so tired when we checked in!

Yelp
Spent 3 nights there and was satisfied with room. Put luggage against door because there was a gap at the bottom of the door-didn't want bugs to get inside. The bed was very comfortable. They cleaned our room every day. We received 10% coupon for surrounding restaurants and stores. Our last night there -there was a grinding noise that woke me up about 6:30 a.m. coming from the room next door-I believe that was a utility room. The continental breakfast was ok. For the price of the room I expected more variety of breakfast foods.

Yelp
My wife and I travel all the way to Buellton,CA about six miles away from Solvang and Chumash casino resort to see comedian Gabriel Iglesias better as know as Fluffy doing an appearance at Chumash Casino Resort. We know the Chumash will be pricey what we did we book a hotel nearby then we booked at the Pea Soup Anderson's Inn walking distance from the world famous Pea Soup Anderson's restaurant. We got a great deal at the Inn when we arrive it looks very nice we step to Inn to check inwe got our room. The room is very nice clean the outside look nice they have a pool. It's very nice at the Pea Soup Anderson's Inn.

Yelp
Not fancy, but very good value for the price. We got a 2-Queen roomfor 2 nights, and it was just $149 the 1st night, and $92 the 2nd. Met a couple from British Columbia who are staying for 2 months! There's a simple pool and jacuzzi in the courtyard and a few lounge chairs. Even though it was a brisk 60 degrees, it was nice in the sun, and enjoyed the hot tub. Met some nice guests there, too. Room was clean, good-sized, had a little table and balcony and mini-fridge. Good location to explore Buellton (loved our lunch at Industrial Eats and dinner at Hitching Post II), check out Ostrichland, go to nearby Solvang, Los Olivos and Santa Ynez, or even Santa Barbara (about 35 mins away). I would definitely stay again.

Yelp
It was by luck that I found Pea Soup Andersen's Inn. Went to my niece's graduation at UCSB and because we were traveling a distance needed a place to stay the night before. After thoroughly researching the multitude of motels in the Santa Ynez/Santa Barbara area, I found that Andersen's was the best deal and just 35 minutes away from campus. Upon arrival, (we arrived after 9pm) the clerk was helpful and quick to check me in. We were tired after the long drive and weren't sure what to expect since we're unfamiliar with the area. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our 2 queen bed room. The room was nicely cleaned, fresh smelling, the bathroom/shower was separated from the sink with their own areas which is nice because in the morning after showering I was able to get ready while my husband showered and we didn't get in each other's way. The room also has microwave, mini fridge and air conditioner. The view from our balcony was beautiful directly in front of the pool and gazebo. There are some mini attractions such as a nice sitting/socializing area. In the morning they offer continental breakfast, which consisted of juices and great tasting danishes. This is always a great money saver so you don't have to start your day on a completely empty stomach. All in all, everything went well, the motel is peaceful and clean. The staff, from front desk, housekeeping and the gentleman serving the continental breakfast, all were kind and all smiles. The treatment is enough to make anyone feel welcome and want to come again. We would definitely use Andersen's for a place to stay if we ever get back to the area. Thank you!

Yelp
Large clean room and friendly service. The pool and jacuzzi spotless. Towels and lounge chairs set up nice. Miniature gold was available and balls and clubs visible and ready to use. Coming off Covid and so many still not brought back up to usable condition this place got to it and is ready. I saw no reason not to rate this a most stay location.
google avatar

Yelp
I went here had the best pea soup ever along with a couple of bloody Mary's and I will be back for sure Thank you Andersen pea soup
google avatar

Nanci G.

Yelp
I am giving the inn 3 stars as when I ran the water I noticed the bathtub was dirty. I did show the front desk. Also the fan in bathroom was full of mold. On a bright note the bed was great so comfy. The bed alone made it worth it. Nice fridge in room, the lamp on dresser did not work so you could not charge cell phone. I would come back
google avatar

Yelp
Great best pea soup In the world! Have gone there many times when I would drive to San Francisco.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. On a 2 week road trip and loved our stop here. Hot tub is perfect when it cools down at night. You can tell the owner/manager cares.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has decent sized rooms and a pool and a few other amenities on the property. But, my friend found a spider in her bed. Also, the breakfast was very minimal and the coffee was so bad!

Yelp
My friend and I stayed one night as a stopover on the way from Northern California to LA. We didn't expect much, to be honest, since the famous restaurant is closed -- but to our surprise, this turned out to be a very nice, comfortable place to stay, at a great price. The room was surprisingly large, the beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they have little touches that were greatly appreciated -- for instance, in the morning, out in the gazebo, they set out fresh, high-quality Danish pastries brought in from a bakery in Solvang. There's stuff for kids to do too -- there's a pool and some little "putting greens" next to the pool (they call it mini-golf, but it's *very* mini -- but that's fine). We were impressed with how spacious and comfortable this was for the price; we had paid two or three times as much in other parts of the state for tiny, much less comfortable rooms with no extra amenities. It's very convenient if you want to visit Solvang, and I'd also recommend it as a stopover for anyone who needs to break up the drive between north and south, as we did. Apparently, the famous pea soup can still be bought at a different local restaurant just down the street, but we didn't check that out. We were just very happy with our overnight stay.
google avatar

Gloria B.

Yelp
They've been closed the last two times we tried coming here. We usually order the pea soup with extra to go as well as the baked items.
google avatar

Tyson C.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place. Family friendly and a clean hotel to rest your head. Staff was friendly upon arriving. Hotel was nice and clean. Pool and spa is heated. A putt putt green will keep the kids and golf Enthusiast entertained. Located very close to Solvang. The continental breakfast had plenty of options and included danish's from Olsen's bakery in Solvang. The room was nice enough. They also offer 10% off at the restaurant when you stay at the hotel. The soup was very tasty at the restaurant and brought back great childhood memories. I would definitely go back to this classic old school hotel.

Leslie M.

Yelp
We always used to go there on our way to morro bay but the last few times we've gone by it looks closed. I'm not sure if they're still in business.
google avatar

Dnainsb G.

Yelp
This is a very large hotel with plenty of amenities. The rooms are clean and the property is well kept. It's very close to the pea soup Andersen's restaurant and other restaurants which are very good. My only issue with this property is it they have a interesting covid policy regarding their jacuzzi. You must sign up for your half hour of use and no one else can share it with you. I have never heard of a hotel using this procedure. Also I was not informed of this sign in sheet when I checked in. I would hesitate checking into this hotel unless you're prepared to either not use the jacuzzi or remember to sign up for your specified half hour of use.

Yelp
Stayed for two nights for the first weekend out of town since the pandemic. Even though the restrictions are easing, COVID-19 is still around, thus I will be more lenient with the rating.... This is obviously a budget model and we are budget travelers. I prefer to spend my $$$$ on other things, instead of splurging on the room. So staying at Pea Soup Anderesen's, our expectations were somewhat correct. It is a cute older budget motel, in a great location. It is also very outdated, and in need of some TLC. For example: - Hallways are loud and locks loose. Each time the neighboring room would open their door, we thought someone is trying to get into ours'. - Walls are paper thin. Recommend to bring earplugs if light sleeper. - Mattress is decent, but pillows are small and not very plush. - Shower head is cheap, and water pressure is low. - Rooms are clean overall, though there are few dirty spots on the curtains. - Cable TV has good choice of channels, but is grainy/SD. - Continental breakfast is included, but very limited. Got coffee only. They also have a pool and a hot tub (reservations needed), but we didn't bother. It is def too early to share the same water with other people. Parking is plentiful, but room layout is somewhat confusing, especially at night when there is not much light around. Considering the price of the more established properties in Santa Ynez valley, Pea Soup Andersen's is an OK value for the money. Would we stay again? Maybe, but only if there is nothing better available for the price. If not for COVID, I would be more inclined to rate it 2.5 stars, but since everyone is having a tough time, 3 stars it is. It was a great weekend in Santa Ynez, even though the hotel wasn't. Not that I expected it to be. But even for a budget motel-yea, it could/should be (much) better...

Yelp
I found a last minute rate on the Hopper app. The room was clean and just what I needed for just one night while I went to explore Solvang, a place I have always wanted to go. Sometimes a change of scenery is all you need to get a reset. The walls are pretty thin. I kept thinking someone was knocking on my door. The continental breakfast is grab and go. Check out is at noon which is a little better than other places. They were doing construction and it was a bit smoky out. I apparently, they have a smoking section which faces the parking lot. The restaurant is on the other side of the parking lot. It was closed when I arrived and since I tried their other location, it wasn't too big of a deal. There were a few restaurants across the street that suited me just fine. If I were in the area, I'd probably stay here again. I was able to connect to the wifi and get some work done as well.

Yelp
Very clean and cute hotel with a small mini golf and fire places outside. The receptionist at the check in was not friendly and didn't give me any information such as a wifi password, checkout time, breakfast availability, etc. She just told me to sign paper and handed me the room key and pointed where to park. She might have had a stressful day or overwhelmed although I was the only guest there at that time. I am giving four stars because the receptionist next day was very helpful when my son became sick. Thank you!!

Yelp
Skip it. The place is run down and our room was super noisy. We specifically asked for a quiet room away from the pool, however, it failed miserably. Here are 4 reasons why we would never go back. The water pipes in the wall sounded like Niagara Falls in our room when next room took a shower!! It was ridiculously loud. It appeared there were many long term tenants staying there who work in the surrounding area. The next door apartment complex had lots of people partying outside. Garbage thrown around parking areas. The room looked good enough however the facilities were run down. "Breakfast" from 7-10am consisted of bad coffee in a styrofoam cup and a cheap-o pastry.

Steve T.

Yelp
Inexpensive...very clean.. Very accommodating. Has a coin op laundry. Great parking.free breakfast. Great rooms. Extremely clean. Frig, micro wave, has free ice. Private patio are Available. Great pool area with little putting green .jacuzzi. and other stuff. Hey they treat you right. Check it out..but don't wait long

Yelp
We have stayed here twice and we were pleased each time. The rooms are fairly clean, and the beds are insanely comfortable. The ladies in the front are especially sweet and even told us about a festival happening not even a 2 minute walk away. They also gave us a few good breakfast spot recommendations! The inn is only 10 minutes away from the Solvang strip area and only 2 minutes away from our favorite restaurant, AJ Spurs.

Yelp
Check in was quick & easy. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice & friendly and told us about the grab & go breakfast located in the gazebo by the pool area. The exterior is misleading. It's unassuming but maintained well. Such a surprise upon entering the room. It was bright, clean, cool, and updated. We brought our own pillows but the bed was super comfy and conducive to a good night's rest. After a long day of walking around Solvang it felt good to "melt" into that mattress. The air conditioner ran very well, which was much needed during the hot days. The water pressure for the shower was really good. There was toothpaste smeared all over the ironing board that I called in to the front desk and in less than 5 minutes I was given a new one. We were on the ground floor with a slider leading out to the pool and the gazebo. It was convenient to grab danishes, pastries, and muffins plus coffee in the mornings to begin the day. While in Solvang at the Danish Mill Bakery, a very nice lady struck up a conversation with us. We told her we were from Temecula (Southern California's Wine Country). She told us she had visited and enjoyed it. We told her this was our first time staying in the area & told her we we're staying at the Pea Soup Inn. She proudly exclaimed that her family owned it & they had been in the area for 5 generations. We told her we loved it especially their beds! She said everybody tells her that. She told us to come back & visit. It was very reasonable staying here; definitely our money's worth! We were given a military rate, so it made it so budget friendly! We would not hesitate to stay here again. We were very pleased and highly recommend staying here.

Yelp
Pretty good place for the $. Good location to go check out Solvang and stuff. Clean, friendly enough, good.

Yelp
Is this under new ownership than the last time we stayed here????? Unfortunately won't be staying here again. Check in was 3pm. Arrived at 3:40pm and the room was not ready yet. Were offered a different room than we booked (without a patio on the central court) so we did not want it. Were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. We were also advised to "Just wait until your room is ready at this point it's only a bit longer." Were informed "people check out late so we need to wait for them." Asked "do they get charged for staying late." "We try." "Do we get charged less for being able to check in late!" "Nope." At this point, the assuming owner or manager, went over to the younger gal checking people in and started not discretely talking about me while sitting there with my 2 month old who was crying because it was hot and we anticipated being in our room by then. I understand that with a busy weekend they may be running late. Running an hour late doesn't feel acceptable, especially not without any sort of kindness offered in return. Not even a snack offered while we waited with two young screaming kids. "You can use the pool while you wait" is clearly the recommendation of someone without children who doesn't understand the task of sorting through luggage and getting two young kids changed into their swim gear in a hotel lobby after a long day of travel. The snarkiness continued when we simply called to ask if there were towels at the pool or if we had to bring them from the room. Were told with a voice filled with annoyance that if we looked by the gate, there was a shelf of towels... how were we supposed to look by the pool gate when we were calling from our room? Every simple question was met with a tone of voice of being inconvenienced and who had no desire to be in the hospitality business. Rooms are alright. You get what you pay for - aside from the fact that there were no fitted sheets on the bed, so if you move at all while sleeping, the sheet shifts and exposes the mattress protector, which felt pretty gross. Again, very very very unfortunate. We had our block of rooms for our wedding here, have stayed here over 6 times for nights away. We won't be back. Miss the old ownership and younger guy who used to man the front desk, make kind conversation, and go above and beyond to be a nice human. I understand that this is a budget accommodation, but last I checked, kindness and customer service is free to provide.

Yelp
A very quaint, and beautiful Inn! My wife and I love it, and are looking forward to more stays there! Let me begin with the deal we got, and we paid $146 for a 2 night stay! I also add very clean too! Well worth it!

Yelp
Cute motel, inside is very clean and roomy! Comfy beds with small pillows. The walls are a little thin. I thought someone was trying to come into our room but it was the one above us. Then I could hear every move they made. And one of the water features (wasn't sure if it is the toilet, shower or sink) in the above room was very loud in our room. They went to bed late and got up early which effected our sleep. The complimentary breakfast is coffee, juice, pastries and muffins... that was it. No fruit or cereal. Staff are friendly. Great great location. Right off the freeway. Also our room was in back there was some RV folks parked in the next lot that were riding a motorcycle up and down the parking lot. Not the hotels fault but annoying non the less.

Yelp
I love this place. Nice people, beautiful pool, pastries and coffee in the gazebo. The rooms are big and comfy, and the shower is unbelievable. I kind of want to move in. Great stay for the area.

Yelp
I have been staying here since I was a kid with my parents. It is the perfect place for travelers. I stayed here a while back for work. The room is simple and clean. The pool is immaculate and after a 4 hour drive in 90 degree temps it was very welcome. I can always count on a tasty meal next door as well.

Yelp
I've been to many inns and I could say that this is one of the best. Cleanliness which is our top most priority is superb here! The customer is top-notch too! The lady at the front let us check in early at 2! Thank God because I was so tired of driving all the way from the Bay Area. Whenever we decide to come here again...I will definitely stay here. With a reasonable rate and excellent customer service plus cleanliness of the room...I would rate this inn with 7 stars if I can! Update: During checked out, Heather and Terry was super nice and helpful! They went out of their way to assist me! I never had an experience with a staff this friendly and considerate! I will never look for any other place to stay when I'm on my way to LA for a stop-over!

Yelp
Quiet comfortable and relaxing. Danishes for breakfast are amazing. For the price it is a good deal. Friendly employees. Thick walls! The people in the room next to us were loud when I walked past in the hall but could not hear them at all once in the room. Microwave, large mini fridge and the coffee maker makes 2 cups of coffee at once which was a nice touch.

Yelp
This is the first time in my life leaving a one star review! Only because we didn't hear a simple apology from anyone and the only thing everybody says was "OK! we'll take a look at it". I left the room in hurry and forgot my mask, the front desk lady was giving me a lecture about wearing a mask intead of being sorry about the situation. First night found an earwig in the room and changed room at 6 Am, woke up at 10 Am in the second room and saw bunch of bedbugs on the mattress. they did give us full refund and we left right away and again not a simple apology!

Yelp
I'm being generous at 3 stars. This place needs a deep cleaning including pests (Ants in our bathroom). Staff was friendly & hotel was cheap.

Yelp
Perfect place to stay for a quick trip or even a longer weekend. No frills but comfortable and cozy. Cute and centrally located to get to local sites. Right off highway after long drive and easy parking a plus. Mini fridge and balcony made this excellent priced room a great choice when you want to save money on your getaway but not loose all the little creature comforts. Pool and mini golf too if time when exploring all town has to offer...close to Mission, Solvang and Wineries, this place is worth the try!
