Peace a Pizza

I usually order carry-out for Peace of Pizza and I absolutely love their pizzas. I'm a picky person when it comes to pizzas and their Battuto pizza is legendary. I absolutely love it. Everyone in my house is a big fan. The pesto with the sausage? SO delicious. They're pricey, but in my opinion, worth it. I also love the pear and gorgonzola salad. It's a local family owned business and I love to shop local.

Love coming here. There’s always a variety of options to choose from and everything is so tasty. The staff are always so welcoming and sweet. My personal favorites is the Mac n cheese pizza and the cookies they sell!

Great pizza and reasonable prices. There is usually plenty of seating, but it tends to be a bit loud inside during busy times. Very kid friendly. Despite the large parking lot out front, frequent community events often make parking difficult to find.

We had margherita, pepperoni, and meat lover’s pizza, and they were all outstanding. We also got cookies and a slice of cookie cake, which were also incredible. Everything was freshly made, and you could taste the quality. We will be going back soon!

Always great tasting pizza with a lot of variety. The Greek pizza is really worth trying of you like fresh spinach. There are several picnic tables out front to eat outdoors. They also make salads to order, and have baked desserts, and many flavors of ice cream. Friendly staff, as well.

I liked my pizza slice, I would say a hidden gem in Catonsville! Portion size was satisfying, liked the ambience, staff were helpful. Must try, will visit in the future!

I love this place. Everyone's great, the style and vibe is awesome. Love their salads (and I'm mostly a carnivore). LOVE THEIR COOKIES. Their desserts are great. Cookies cookies cookies, though. MMMM!

We would give this establishment five stars based upon the quality of their pizzas and milkshakes. The pizza dough is obviously made in-house. The dough makes for a light and flavorful. The menu boasts a mesmerizing selection of pizzas. We’d highly recommend the pineapple and pulled pork pizza with extra cheese. We’d highly recommend the banana milkshake also.

I couldn't remember how this pizza was except that I had loved it. Now I still loved the toppings and the dough was just eh. I can see why some people don't like the dough and why some don't care. Something about the dough is too cheap now. I was too full to try to order a Stromboli. The salad and small salad with pizza slice combo is a great option. I also like the smoothie options and how you can add spinach to them too. There used to be one of these near me and I am sad it didn't survive because they were one of my faves and held their own. Maybe I'll stop by for a Stromboli once next time around.

In spite of the $4.25 price on the chalkboard, I was charged $5 and change for a single slice. Hours later, had food poisoning, and I can't attribute it to anything else, because the food I ate the rest of the day was shared with others who didn't get sick. They pre-make a bunch of pizzas, leave them out at room temperature & reheat whatever slices you buy. After puking all last night I've begun to think this isn't a good idea. Too bad, because I've always liked the place & it's convenient to several other businesses that I patronize. After this, not sure I would risk going back.

I love a good family business, but this felt like buying "Mellow Mushroom" off Temu. We had high hopes based on the average rating, but the pizza was a major letdown. The crust was undercooked and doughy, with a floury, soft undercarriage that lacked any crispiness. The sauce was overly thick--more like underseasoned tomato paste than a proper pizza sauce--and neither I nor my 13-year-old enjoyed it. My son's smoothie was another disappointment: sickeningly sweet, tasting more like sugar than fruit. The one redeeming item was the nutty goat salad.

Absolutely the worst pizza I've eaten in Catonsville. This is undercooked, soggy, gross, and they didn't pop the air bubbles quickly enough and so all the cheese was displaced. I would be ashamed if I were the owner. They serve mainly children and elderly so I guess they don't really care if it's good or not

Best pizza in the area. I've been going here since I was a wee lad and it's been my go to pizza spot for years. Friendly staff and fantastic pizza

I was excited to venture out and build my own Stromboli with ham, pineapple, and onion. What I received was far from good. I couldn't eat the Stromboli because that gooey stuff in the picture is RAW pizza dough! The Stromboli was not cooked fully! I won't be trying this again and am very disappointed.

My family has frequented this pizza place for almost 15 years now. Obviously the pizza is great, as most reviewers have said. However, would you believe they have THE BEST SALADS EVER?!?! That's what my wife said about the salad she got from here..."The best salad I've ever had". I'm sorry I don't know which of the salads she got, but it seems to have had candied Pecans in it. Either way, my wife loves salads and to hear her say that was the best ever, well it means something. Get a side salad with your pizza! I would also like to add that the staff is always friendly and consistently helpful. We love it there. I'm sure you will too.

Not typical pizza but very good, many flavors. Quick service. They also have the best sugar cookies in the zip code.

I love this place. It's a local pizza spot in Catonsville that serves a very interesting assortment of pizza, Strombolis, salads and desserts. You can order a full pizza fresh or select individual slices to go. Everything is a bit pricey but the quality is definitely there and almost everything that I've had has been amazing including the Philly, the Buffalo chicken, and the veggie pizzas. I think my absolute favorite part of coming here is the cookies! Let me tell you about these cookies by Babas. They are heartachingly delicious. I could write love letters for centuries and still not capture the true depth of my love for these desserts- specifically Hopes Royal cookie. They are the epitome of my visit.

Great place, I've been here a few times to grab a slice for lunch. The meat lovers has been the best around. Service was quick.

Very nice pizza shop that is super close to UMBC. I went there with friends and really liked the margherita pizza. The staff was also friendly and there is lots of seating space. They also have ice cream if you're looking for a place that you can grab dinner and dessert.

Peace a pizza is one of the better pizza places in the catonsville area. It's located on Mellor ave off Frederick road. Near duesenbergs if you know where that is. It has a hippie vibe and you can see that as soon as you walk in. They have a good selection of pizzas and slices are about $3 each. Although they don't use their big oven to reheat the pizzas, they still get reheated pretty well. The bottom of the pizza is nice and crispy while the top is warmed up. Only thing I'm not a fan of is their buffalo chicken pizza. It doesn't really have a buffalo flavor to it. The chicken is buffalo flavored but you can't really taste it. Other than that, everything else I've had is pretty good. Definitely stop by if you like pizza and want a quick bite to eat. They also have a ice cream shop in the back.

Read the raves then heard the reviews, and to be totally honest with you, my brother and I visited Piece of Pizza for a slice! The pies looked good, however, both of our slices were somewhat " cool to the touch" and I could only eat the toppings! The crust was to hard for me!

Peace A Pizza - a fantastic Catonsville institution. This pizzeria is going to have most combinations of pizza you could imagine - they even have one with pasta on top! You can come in and order by the slice or get the whole pie. My favorite is the Mediterranean Salad pizza, which is just loaded with good Mediterranean flavors like artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers. Two slices of that, and I'm satisfied. I've never had a bad pizza here. They also have stromboli which are solid and a nice variety of salads. I usually go for the Pear and Gorgonzola or the Nutty Goat, both of which have some great candied pecans. They have partnered with, and now share space with, Baba's Desserts, so save room if you're up for some ice cream, cookies, or gourmet brownies after dinner. I've sometimes seen groups of kids having a painting party in there; they apparently have other cool events that you can hire them for too. During COVID-19, Peace A Pizza is keeping you fed and also safe - just place an order on the phone and drive up for contact-less delivery to your car. Love seeing businesses take care to protect their customers. The inside is bright and colorful, clean, and very family-friendly. The prices are reasonable, and the folks that run the place are quick and super friendly too. Peace A Pizza is definitely recommended. Groovy!

Peace a Pizza definitely has some of the best pizza in Catonsville. They have really unique pizza with non-traditional toppings. My family's favorite is the Mac and Cheese Pizza which is pretty incredible. Their assortment of salads are varied and fresh and their deserts are INCREDIBLE and beautiful (especially the cupcakes).

The pizza is very doughy and will be undercooked if they don't run it through the conveyor twice. The slice was heavy and there was zero grease at all. The sauce has a different flavor then most places I've been to. The service was very fast and it was easy to get a parking spot. As for the ambience it's not bad. Typical pizza joint with some outdoor tables. This pizza is just not my cup of tea but maybe great for other people.

A friend told me about this place years ago and I've been going ever since. It's decent pizza by the slice if your in the mood for a quick bite. Some of the slices I don't care for too much but I guess it's fun to experiment. Smoothies are great too and you can build your own salad if you're interested. Staff is also very friendly.

Jersey guy here! Just found my new favorite pizza place in MD. There aint much for good pizza in this state, here is one of the few I'd recommend!!

One of my favorite pizza places in Catonsville. The owner, Sally, has ingrained herself and Peace A Pizza into the community, supporting many local events and causes. The gluten free pizza is great and one of the best around. The Mac and cheese pizza is delish but one slice is more than enough. Be sure to try the meat lovers pizza too! They slice and salad is a great deal. It's also a great place to host a child's birthday party - the kids always seem to have a good time and there's plenty of space for all.

I've seen this place in passing, but never stopped in and was desperately craving pizza after my dentist appointment this day. Finally decided to try it out and WOW. It may not look like much from the outside, but you truly cannot judge a book by its cover. I was lucky to grab the last slice of margherita that day and a slice of mac n cheese! The mac n cheese was AMAZING. 10/10 would get again and the magherita was tasty too! I also saw the desserts on my way down the counter to pick up the pizza. I couldn't help but pick up a few of the giant cookies they had. I got a snickerdoodle, sprinkles, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin. They were HUGE and they had a deal 4 for $6. The sprinkles and chocolate chip were some of the best cookies I've ever had and my boyfriend loved the oatmeal raisin! I've been dreaming of the mac n cheese pizza since that day! Will definitely be a frequent flyer!

My dog goes to the dermatology vet across the street and I make a point to pick up dinner here after appointments. All the pizzas we have tried so far have been delicious... wish they were closer!

I would give a solid five, based on the two pizza's we ordered... Tasty, thin crust, ample favorful toppings, and overall taste 5... but, the lg(???) dinner salad, while tasty- arugula, caramelized onions w/grilled chicken and tasty lemon vinegarette- was either, overpriced or measly serving!... For $10@ (x2=$20), I will stop by a market and buy salad ingredients with $$ left over... salad for all, for a week! AGAIN THO'- The pizza has definitely inspired my return business!!!

Stopped in for some pizza because I heard this place was awesome. The services was good and I especially liked that they brought it to the car, but the pizza was average. It was well cooked and had good flavor but nothing I'd have gone out of my way for. Overall, a good meal but nothing to write home about.

We had lunch here last Saturday. First time visit. We did some shopping and errands nearby and then we were hungry for lunch. Had seen Peace A Pizza a few times while shopping and decided to try it. When we went in they weren't too busy, but a crowd followed us in and they got swamped. Luckily we got our order in quick. I got a Groovy 2 Combo, $7.31 for a small salad and a slice of pizza. I tried the Orange Nut 'n Honey Chicken Salad and Mediterranean Salad Pizza. The salad was delicious! The pizza has a bit of a sweetness to the dough/crust - it isn't bad but it also didn't really go along very well with the flavors in the Mediterranean toppings. I will definitely go back here. I'm not sure if I would get the pizza again, or if I did I would choose toppings that would go better with the sweetness of the dough/crust. I would definitely get a salad again - the salad was absolutely delicious! We didn't try the bakery or the ice cream but those look like great choices as well. Lots of parking. The place is very very clean. The bathrooms are very clean. The employees were very nice and friendly. Prices are fair. The serving sizes are generous. The salad was loaded with chicken (see photos). The pizza was loaded with toppings (see photos). If it wasn't for the sort of odd sweetness of the pizza dough/crust this place would be a superstar for me. As it is I will definitely go back but I'm probably not going to order the pizza again. If you do order the pizza be prepared for the crust to be sweet.

I have been searching for a GREAT pizza place near my home for years. Being from NYC, I can be extremely selective and hard to satisfy. I have been wanting to try Peace-A-Pizza for several months now. Sorry to say, I will continue looking. This pizza compares most closely with a Wegman's pizza. In fairness I was asked if I wanted thinner crust, and I replied "make it the way you normally do" I wanted to see what their signature pie was like, very dissapointing. Edible but not umamni.

I wish I lived closer to this area so I could come here every day. Simply put, Peace A Pizza offers fantastic portions for great prices. If you can put up with the screaming little demons, it's a great place for a cheap and simple meal. Update: 6 hours later, my stomach was really unhappy. It probably wasn't a great idea to eat slices of pizza that have been sitting around for hours. But hey, if you know your stomach is sturdy go for it!

Stopped in with my daughter for a slice of cheese pizza and a Santa Fe salad. It was a great meal! Another fantastic visit to this restaurant. They always have families visiting and lots of foot traffic. The staff is friendly and store is clean.

Good pizza at a fair price! Pretty austere inside but family friendly. Always see plenty of kids enjoying themselves.

I'm in Tennessee and my Aunt in a nursing home in Cantonsville loves when I order out for her. Today's my first time trying Peace of Pizza and it was a breeze and so pleasant to call in my order. Of course, with a name like Peace, can't go wrong. If the food is as great as the person who took my order for delivery is, we will be hooked! The menu is mouthwatering and having Babas Desserts too, she'll get het first chocolate milkshake in long time. I'm excited!

Nice folks. Good pie. I also had the veggie 'boli and it was good. We also had salads. The Granny Smith salad was super good. Family friendly. On site parking, which was nice

The store has a smell of old stale cheese, the owner can be very condescending and rude. Bless the employees souls. Prices are unreasonably high. The quality of the food is not high enough to warrant the outrageous prices. The only redeeming quality is the ice cream store. 10/10 recommend the sweet treats but the pizza is egregious. Sad to say because it is a favorite for the Catonsville soccer moms who live off their husbands paycheck.

I like popping in for a slice of pizza (or two) and a salad for a casual lunch. There's a lot of of everything- as in seating, salad toppings, and pizza choices. For a quick lunch, I got the supreme and margarita pizza with a goat cheese salad. There's a cute ice cream shop in the back if you want to grab dessert

Upon walking into this place it immediately reminded me of a Mellow Mushroom for kids. There are games for kids and I would not be surprised to see adults playing them also. What I mean by that is that it did not have a bar where you could be served up a few drinks. No Alcohol? Surprisingly this review from me still continues despite that. I was in the area of Catonsville and decided to look at what was on my bookmarks list and Peace of Pizza was only half a mile away. If you decide to go there don't get discouraged by the tight parking on the street as the store is located in a lot with plenty of parking. It could also have to do with it being lunch time on a Friday also in an area surrounding by eating places. This establishment is very kid friendly as I saw an entire section reserved and being prepped for a kid's birthday party, but there was still plenty of seating in the restaurant. This is a typical pizza place where you can get a few slices or a whole pizza if you wish. The pizzas are warmed back up in the oven but looking at the selection it defiantly does not look like the pizzas are sitting there for long as there is a constant steady stream of customers. Certain slices such as peperoni and cheese are offered at set prices with additional toppings and other specialties offered a bit more. There was just the right amount of cheese and the sauce to me had a little sweetness to it. I decided to go with a slice of cheese and meat lovers. Trust me there is plenty of meat on this slice. The dough was a bit tough as you ate from the center of the pizza. The pizza was ok and I don't intend ok to sound bad. It was what you expected. It was not a one and done but it was not something I would go out of my way for. Overall not a bad spot to stop for a slice to hold you over. I have no kids but this place would be a good spot for the little ones to enjoy.

I had a cheese slice and a Buffalo chicken slice and I was not happy with either. Buffalo had no taste and the cheese needed more sauce. The crust was just ok. The restaurant was clean and the people were friendly. Will try again and different slices. Prefer Schittino's in Catonsville

Went here with a few friends during final's week and nothing seemed more comforting than a few slices of freshly baked pizza. The basil and tomato slices were basic, but hit the spot perfectly. There was also ample free parking. The service didn't stand out to me, but it wasn't bad. The pizza business is also attached to a bakery that's located in the back. I haven't tried their baked goods yet, but it was completely empty compared to the noisy customers up in the front of the building.

Best pizza I've had in a long time--definetky since beginning of the pandemic I had a margherita slice and a cookie. I wish they were closer to where I live. I'm going to need an excuse just to come back.

Got the pear Gorgonzola salad and a small cheese pizza. The salad was okay. Wish the dressing was a tad sweeter. The candied pecans were the best part. The pizza was the biggest disappointment. Super thing crusted and not much flavor. Will definitely not be returning for pizza

The shop is large and cheerful and bright. There are a variety of pizzas available by the slice, or you can order a whole pie. Take-out and eat-in are both available. They also have a build-your-own-salad bar. It's a popular place for families in the area. But there are constantly little children - toddlers and infants - walking around behind the food line or being carried around by employees who are preparing or serving or handling food. Sometimes the kids are near the oven. At lunch recently, one of the toddlers was digging around in her nose - right next to the oven where my slices were being heated up. I'm definitely not going to come back without careful consideration - which is a shame, because I was excited to have finally found almost a New York-style pizza place in town. Guess I'll keep looking.

Fresh Basil. Mozzarella. Tomatoes. Crust. A drizzle of EVOO and just a hit of parmesan cheese to finish it off. BANGING!!! So Peace A Pizza calls this their "Fresh Mozzarella" pizza. And I can confirm that it's "Soooooo good!" Every time I've gone here, I get the same thing! (I promise to try something different soon...) The combination of basil, tomatoes and mozzarella is so simple. I don't even need meat! So I always know that if a pizza joint can get that right, then they are pizza maker winners in my book! Takes about 15 mins for a large fresh delicious pie if you don't call in advance. And if you order pizza by the slice, they will run it through a large toaster oven, so your pizza is hot and ready to be eaten. And then to make things even better, they have BOMB salads. Yes, I'm gonna order a salad with this slice of pizza... gotta get in those greens!! LOL. TREAT YO SELF!! Healthy balance is key. So their salads are really fresh and out of this world delicious. They do offer the typical garden salad, but the majority of the salad offerings are like upgraded salads for a pizza place. So far I've had the Pear & Gorgonzola salad with my slice every time I've come to this place, because its that good! I would definitely recommend this local pizza joint! Ingredients are fresh, and there are a large variety of pizzas for everyone! Check it out. And as I'd like to say.... *in my terminator voice* I'LL BE BACK!!!

Food is always delicious! Love their pizza and salads, and dessert selections. Always lots of parking and pretty easy to get in and out quickly if you're grabbing something on the fly.

The pizza tastes good and there are lots of options. The crust is thin and has great char on it. The slices are big. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a nice vibe. I will definitely be back. It is also a great place for all ages.

Casual atmosphere. Tasty pizza, salads and cookies. Great variety of toppings. You can see the pizzas and order by the slice for a quick meal or get a whole pie to go. Good location for community fundraiser nights and birthday parties. The owner is a friendly and energetic young woman who keeps everything running smoothly. When ordering a pie to go, we recommend asking for extra bake time for the same crispy crust you get when you eat individual slices.

So, my latest take on Peace A Pizza is this: They're a great slice shop but their whole pizzas for takeout can be a bit scattershot. For a whole pie, however, the clear take-away winner is their white pizza. Quite simply, I think they have the best white sauce in the area, hands down. A lot of other white pizza options are overly oily, or garlicky to the point of obscenity. Here, you get a nicely creamy creme-fraiche based sauce with subtle garlic that doesn't clobber the taste of other toppings. The best pie I've had from PaP has been with white sauce, roasted red peppers, fresh spinach, and sliced Italian sausage. Fan-friggin'-tastic. Ask for extra bake time for a well-done pie, and you won't have to fret about a doughy crust. I've found their standard bake is geared toward reheating slices, and therefore slightly underdone. Request a little extra oven time, and you'll be rewarded. Same goes for tomato-based pies, especially if they've got a bunch of veggie toppings.

Man I love this place it is right off of Mellor Ave pretty easy to see with the colored sign. The inside is really nice and chill, the staff are awesome. I've tried just about every pizza that they have from the macaroni and cheese to the steak and cheese and they all have been awesome. I even tried the salads and they are made nice too. I'm a foodie who's cheap so I sign up for the coupons on the website and go whenever there is a good one. I'm a regular and it can't be beat!

Sally and her crew do an incredible job of preparing yummy gourmet pizza, salads and desserts, but the best part about Peace A Pizza is what they do for the local community - fundraising, recognition, children's events - she takes the time to get to know the customers and is one of the best businesses in the Catonsville community! This restaurant epitomizes what it means to be a true community partner, while serving up some fantastic food at the same time!

Great place to take the kids. The pizza is great, very casual. My daughter loved her pizza, even took a to go box. My pear Gorgonzola salad was excellent. They also have board games.

Other than you can let your kids run wild in this place no other reason to go here. Nothing we have tried would rate much higher than a cafeteria but maybe haven't tried the right items yet. Will give a few more tries. Only good pizza I have found in Catonsville is Franco's.
