Oh my god. Best donuts everrrrr and I’m so happy they’re vegan! Unique flavors, definitely made with love and care. I never thought I’d ever eat a Rose Pistachio donut but I definitely needed to get 2 of these things 🩷 so delicious! Maple Pecan was on point too. Hope to go back and try their vegan breakfast sandwiches one day. Wish they were open more hours but then we’d be really spoiled huh? I’ll take it when I can :) The Rose Pistachio packs flavor and has this light hint of Rosey floral goodness under the sweet nuttiness of the pistachio!

If you’re ever nearby you should make it a point to visit this wonderful donut shop. I had their pistachio, maple pecan, and the New York cream donut. I also had their sausage and egg Brioche sandwich. I had all this two and half weeks ago and I’m still thinking about the first bite of each donut so I felt compelled to write this review. The crunch of the pistachio and pecan against the soft dough was memorable. The cool sweetness of the vanilla pudding in the New York cream was absolutely comforting.

Google
I've come here a few times and am always very happy. Some of their donuts can be a bit too sweet for me but overall the highest quality donuts I've ever had. They also emphasize other local businesses and transparency in their food. I also like how clear they are about general food allergy policies. They change up the flavors pretty frequently, although with the variety you always find something to eat. I highly recommend the apple fritter, lavender vanilla, New York cream, and almond joy. We also tried the Arnold Palmer which was a bit too tart but a very interesting combination (iced tea and lemonade) Their other specialty of the day was a dirt donut with chocolate pudding filling and cookie crumble/gummy worms on top. Loved the concept but the filling was a touch too sweet. Regardless, this is an excellent establishment and you can tell a lot of love goes into the food. There is a nearby parking lot around the corner. No indoor seating but about four seats at two tables just outside their door.

Google
If we had more time, we would've returned to get more baked goods before leaving Beacon. The glazed doughnut was amazing, but that snickerdoodle cookie is something that I'll crave for a very long time.

Google
I remember when they used to be a pop-up. Fantastic donuts, the apple fritters are ridiculously good and the old fashioned donuts are tasty as well. I like the variety that is offered. The menu has a partly permanent selection, but the weekly flavors that are offered are outstanding.

Google
Such a cute little bakery. I love to enter to a place and not worry what is vegan or not. The best donut of the ones I got is the maple pecan and I surprisingly liked the peach basil. It throws you off at each bit bc you taste basil but if you enjoy the taste of basil it is definitely a must try. Maple pecan was delicious all around.

Vegan donut heaven 🍩 This place has been on my bucket list for years- and was I happy to finally visit! Peaceful Provisions is a 100% all vegan donut shop that makes the BEST vegan donuts! They are really well known and famous - and I understand why! They make such wonderful treats. We stopped in around 12 PM on a Sunday and they still had a nice selection! Loved that they had fall / halloween themed donuts. What we got: - classic chocolate- super moist & dense donut base with chocolate. It was so delicious! - spooky vanilla - how adorable was this one? A all vanilla donut with a spider. - pumpkin spice- decorated like a jack o lantern this one was my fave! The amount of pumpkin flavor was just PERFECT! Not too spiced but just the right amount of sweet pumpkin goodness! Make sure to visit this place early- they don’t do pre orders and sell as a first come first order basis. Once they sell out for the day- they close. All of their donuts are made fresh each day and you get super fresh donuts. The shop is super cute & fun! Staff was friendly. Donuts- out of this world! Vegan or not- stop in for some yummy treats! Sooooo worth the hype indeed! 💕💫🍩

Google
These donuts were absolutely out of this world. Hands down the best vegan donuts I've ever had. I highly recommend the Strawberry Rhubarb Jam donut, if you are fan of filled donuts. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Welcoming service, lots of flavor without being too dense, but get there early because they sell out!

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise-- all vegan donuts?? We came in on a Saturday around 1pm and one donut flavor had sold out. There was a lot left and there were so many flavors! I really liked the vanilla bean sugar, it was the most simple one but really highlighted how yummy the donut itself was. It was chewy and tasty. The other flavors I enjoyed were the toasted coconut and maple bacon. The creme filled one was similar to a Boston creme donut but I was just okay with the cream flavor.

Yelp
My family and I have ordered from Peaceful Provisions many times, and we always love their donuts! They're incredibly fluffy and consistently delicious. My favorite is the pistachio-encrusted donut, while my wife really enjoys the poppyseed-glazed, and my kids always go for the peanut butter and jelly donut. The only downside is that they're only open on weekends--I just wish we could get them more often!
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
My family and I waited in line before they opened. We were probably 4th in queue. I honestly did not expect these to be as good as they were! The doughnuts weren't overly sweet and had great flavors & textures. Their staff was already grouchy by 10am.

Yelp
Easily my new favorite donut spot! The brioche donuts are perfectly chewy and moist - we tried so many of their flavors and all very delicious (and the perfect "not too sweet" sweetness level). My favorites were the Lemon Poppy Seed Donut Twist and Strawberry Guava (filled with strawberry guava curd, perfect for the summer). We also tried the Black Sesame Mango and Peach Basil (which was also surprisingly amazingly peachy and basil-y). Luckily that weekend we also got to try the $12 gelato panini - they used a vegan gelato, of which the hardness of the sorbet paired nicely with the softness of the donut panini buns. The tartness and acidity of the strawberry jam cut beautifully to balance out the sweet flavors. Cannot wait to visit again!

Yelp
I had my doubts about vegan donuts, but they're surprisingly delicious and tastes as great as regular donuts! I love the variety and creativity of the donut flavors here, especially the rose pistachio donut. Great interior space with very minimal seating (recommend adding a few more tables and chairs). There's also a very aesthetic wall with tons of prints and colors. Nice spot to grab a dessert and people watch :)

Yelp
These are some delicious vegan donuts! Be sure to come earlier if you want a bigger selection of flavors to choose from since they do sell out quickly. We came on an especially busy day, so our selection was more limited. My sister had come before and really enjoyed some of their other seasonal/rotating donuts. I tried the maple bacon donut this time and even forgot that it was a vegan donut for a second. The "bacon" bits perfectly contrasted the sweetness of the donut. The donut itself was so fluffy and I wish I had gotten some other flavors to try. The shop is on the smaller side and there isn't too much seating inside. The decor is super adorable and makes a great backdrop for your delicious snack.

Yelp
Amazing vegan donuts! I can see why they won best donut in New York - they're pretty much perfect.

Yelp
Secretly (but now publicly) obsessed with Peaceful Provisions. Can you believe they make THEEEEEE best - scratch made, vegan, delicious, incredible donuts and just casually sell out like nothing because they're so incredibly awesome? Well the humans behind the brand and the dough are also equally incredible. This women owned biz happens to be in one of my fave little places in NY - Beacon! On to the donut, not only are they eye pleasing, gorgeous and so aesthetic, they're equally or even more delicious than what they look. That first bite is everything and once your taste buds explode and discover all the flavors, you'll thank me later. Or actually, thank THEM later. I love their rotating and fun menu of different kind of donuts and flavors each week. From unfilled to old fashioned to filled to twisted, there's a variety for everyone. Absolutely obsessed with their promise that their products will always be free of animal products and byproducts, free of palm oil, free of synthetic and artificial flavors, the donuts are even made with filtered purified alkaline and antioxidant water. Like ok can your average donut shop do this (and more!)? Peaceful Provisions sure can and they're far from average. I would've loved to dig in a crookie doughnut because duh who doesn't (hopefully they will be permanent on the menu ***one day***) but for now, I'm glad they were even out. Period. I went with my gut (or even better, went with my EYES) and ordered the vanilla lavender, chai latte and the maple. Of course, I right away had to have the lavender one and truly went on a galaxy far far away into a purple galaxy paradise with a million stars. Absolutely LOVE Peaceful Provisions, their brand, their mission, their staples and the humans behind them. Go show them some love but also don't be mad if they sell out. Just visit them again next week or next time or next day. Be kind. Eat doughnuts. We a DOUGHre them!
google avatar

Yelp
These donuts are amazing! These can go up against any kind of donut (not just vegan) and come out on top. I miss having them near Peekskill but it's worth the trip to Beacon. My only wish is that they bring back the marzipan and cookie dough fillings because those were next level. The fritters are excellent as well! The owners are super nice and they always have great staff.
google avatar

Yelp
The best donuts ever! Go early and wait in line - it is worth it. They sell out early so they will not be open for all the hours, once they are sold out, they close up the shop. The donuts have a brioche texture. They are super soft, but so flavorful. We loved the coconut flavor, but they have so many different unique flavors to try.
google avatar

Alicia C.

Yelp
FABULOUS Doughnhts! First and foremost, I appreciate their time consuming process to prepare the brioche doughnuts. I'm super picky about doughnuts because I strongly believe they aren't just fried dough - the type of dough and quality of the dough matters! You can read more about their process on their website but you can definitely taste the difference when you bite into their soft, pillow doughnuts. It's very light and delicate, not too dense, not too dry, fried with just the right amount of oil, and stays moist (tested - freeze immediately and they will thaw to the lovely fresh texture). I also love that they make everything scratch made, from their creams to the crumb toppings. I am a sucker for housemade vegan creams. Not the frozen vegan dole whip, or some processed crap, but a fresh cream made with love. Their fillings also range from creams, to puddings, to jams and icings. I always prefer creams, but luckily their other fillings aren't insanely sweet (still can be sweet, but not gross sweet). But the creams are perfect. It reminds me of those fluffy cream cakes in my pre-vegan days made with whipped heavy cream that leaves a cooling buttery mouth feel. Next, the cronuts! I really wish these were around more but I totally understand they are labor intensive. It's just extra touching considering when the Cronut trend came to New York most vegans couldn't partake, and while there were some vegan Cronuts, they were always lathered in icings and sugar which took away from the buttery flaky layers I looked for in a Cronut. I also love their rotating flavors and it had become such a fun tradition to visit every week/weekend to try all their newest flavors. Everything they make here is superb quality and they have become my favorite doughnut shop (vegan or non-vegan). The people that work here and the community they draw is also amazing which is an indicator of what an important business they are here! I can't wait to see all the new flavors they come up with, and hope to see more cronuts soon!

Yelp
Feel like I can confidently say Peaceful Provisions is one of the best donut shops in the Hudson Valley. They are FRESH and must be consumed in a day or they will be hard the next days. Their flavors are always amazing and they're vegan!
google avatar

Susie C.

Yelp
No way these are Vegan Doughnuts! Every time we visit the quaint town of Beacon, NY, we always make a stop at Peaceful Provisions. The doughnuts are artfully crafted and the unique flavors are delightful. They are as delicious as they look. There is always a line but the friendly service makes it go quick. Though a bit pricey, quality ingredients is what you are paying for and freshness! It's a must try.

Yelp
We took a detour to Beacon on our way home from Legoland, just so we could try the vegan donuts from Peaceful Provisions. They are only open on weekends, and after months of looking at their offerings on Instagram, it was so hard to limit ourselves to just six (although the fact that they had sold out of some before our noon visit helped). They were definitely worth the trip. We ended up getting one filled donut (blueberry French toast) and five unfilled (strawberry, passion fruit strawberry, hibiscus sugar, toasted coconut, blackberry peach). The donuts were amazing, some of the best donuts I've had, vegan or not. Fluffy, great texture, and wonderful flavors, especially the vibrant fruit flavors. My favorites were the strawberry with sprinkles, passion fruit strawberry, and hibiscus sugar, and I would definitely get those again on another visit if they're there. Can't wait until we're back in the area to get more weekend donuts!

Yelp
These donuts taste like heaven on earth! I have been eyeing this place for at least 5 years now but never made the trip up to Beacon. I was visiting wappinger falls for a getaway and realized beacon was super close. I visited on a Thursday morning around 10 and it was not that busy. Victoria is such a pleasant person to be around. She was so helpful. Indigo De Souza was playing which was such good vibes. These donuts are a crowd pleaser. I also had the biscuit SEC which was a fresh biscuit. That was absolutely delicious. The coffee was amazing too. Look forward to making the trip back up to treat myself to these donuts

Yelp
These vegan donuts in the Beacon, NY area are delicious!!! If you're ever in the area, give them a try. They're open Thursday-Sunday 9am-3pm or till sold out! and trust me, they sell out quick! I wanted to try their strawberry shortcake and banana crumb donut, but it was sold out before 11am . They have a weekly rotating menu, so please check their IG/website for menu updates. The menu is typically posted by Wednesday and the price ranges between $4-$5.75 per donut. Also, if you happen to visit on a Sunday, there is the Beacon farmer's market down the street with some cool vendors to check out. Their hours are 10am-2pm.

Yelp
I am farthest from vegan. But this peaceful provisions is a must, go, weekend-making, mouth-pleasing experience! Good vibes, friendly staff. Go early and often.
google avatar

Yelp
Love ! love! Love ! This place. The donuts not cheap but you paying for quality VEGAN donuts in a variety of flavors ! Every week the flavors change so check there Instagram to see what they will have. Go early because the most popular flavors sale out quick. If you ever in upstate NY this is definitely a spot worth going to! My favorite is probably the classic strawberry glazed but they are all great.
google avatar

Dom G.

Yelp
Love this place so much! Such yummy donuts with a variety of unique flavors that rotate. Some of my favorite are the fritters and the coquito donut . They are pricey but its due to the quality of ingredients and honestly for the size its def worth it. I have been coming to try their donuts since before they had the storefront in Beacon. The staff is always patient with me deciding between flavors and its very clean. When you want a treat (and can get there in time) its a great spot to go.

Suzy M.

Yelp
Delicious donuts, good service, we sat outside and the weather was perfect. I recommend the Boston Crème, chocolate donut.
google avatar

Shayna H.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of peaceful provisions. It's an all vegan store with excellent donuts. It's definitely on the premium side with the pricing but the size of the donuts is great and they are always made fresh. You can get a small cake donut or a large donut with filling. I don't think I've ever had a donut from peaceful provisions that I didn't like. Some tips: They sell until they run out and then they close. If you know you want a donut then get there as close to opening as you can!
google avatar

Lala G.

Yelp
I was given a gift card for this place. I saw online they open at 9am. So I cruised around a bit with my niece until a little after 9. The line was out the door! I knew right then and there this place must be incredible. The woman behind the counter (whom I assume is the owner) was very sweet, patient and knowledgeable. They have cute outdoor seating. I'm glad I finally made it in. I look forward to returning.
google avatar

Beth M.

Yelp
Really beautiful spot..... the smell is amazing and the freshness is out of this world. The knowledgeable workers were super helpful.
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
Okay so yes this place is all hype but it's also completely worth the hype! First of all, this bakery is 100% vegan! The donuts are cooked to perfection, the icing is magnificent, and the flavors are impeccable. It's mind blowing that no dairy is used in these donuts! Now they are not cheap, about $5-$6 a donut but they are huge! When I go I typically buy 2 and I eat on it all week! Peaceful Provisions continually creates new flavors of donuts on a weekly basis. They also have soooo many choices! Which I love but it is also hard to pic just one. Okay so the only con to this place is that they are only opened on the weekend (Friday-Sunday) and once they sell out for the day, that's it they are done and they close! So yeah people line up before they open to make sure to be able to get a donut. I've never lined up before they opened but I have come and they were closed or I've come with a donut I really wanted in mind but they had already sold out for the morning. To check the flavors they have for the week go on their Instagram they are always posting. Also, they are now selling of vegan baked goods like croissants and vegan cheese. The staff also deserves a shoutout because they are super friendly and personable!
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
Insanely delicious vegan doughnuts that you would never realize are vegan. The limited edition mango fritter was next level. Really all the doughnuts were incredible and difficult to stop eating. The chocolate chip cookie and coffee were also excellent.
google avatar

Rosemarie O.

Yelp
Delicious vegan doughnuts with imaginative flavor combinations. Our favorites are the cinnamon sugar cronut, lemon poppy seed twists, strawberry sprinkles, and pistachio frosted.
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
Unbelievable donuts. Friendly people. And the flavors are so strong and so spot-on, every time. It's my favorite treat on Main Street.
google avatar

SK J.

Yelp
Awesome doughnuts and very nice staff. Mostly worth the late opening hour, the limited days open, finding parking, and the long lines.

Loca M.

Yelp
Good glazed donut. Cookie tasted good though slightly more falling apart and doughy than expected. Jelly filled too much jelly. But dough itself was so tasty.
google avatar

Johnny G.

Yelp
They are absolutely worth the hype. The lines are out the door and for good reason. Their product is full of tender love and care & it shows. Not usually a big fan of vegan desserts but they made me reevaluate how good it can be. They also have a bit of mad scientist blood - they always experimenting with new items. Instant fan and cant wait to go back!
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
Highly recommend going early as a line forms and does tend to get long. It's totally worth the wait, but they do sell out. Also masks are required. I arrived before opening time and a line was already forming. Luckily, it was a Friday. I've seen the line on the weekends so I didn't want to take a chance. The menu changes frequently. I ordered the Creme Brûlée, Banana French Toast and Vanilla Glazed Twist. So far, the Creme Brûlée is my favorite.
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
I love going to Peaceful Provisions!! I've been there a handful of times now, and each time I've really enjoyed everything I've tried. The very first time I tried their peanut butter and jelly donut and was blown away by how giant the donut was, how rich the peanut butter icing was, and how much jelly they were able to put inside - it was delicious!! I can also attest that their cinnamon buns, chocolate matcha cake donuts, London Fog donuts, and savory goods are all super. All of their delectable donuts and their guest savory products from The Little Loaf are vegan! The atmosphere inside the little shop is cute and trendy, and the staff are all welcoming and friendly. It's a must-visit if you're anywhere near the Beacon area, and honestly it's worth the trip if you aren't. They also update their menu each week, so be sure to check them out on social media to see what they've got!
google avatar

Eden H.

Yelp
Vegan donuts! Usually there is a bit of a line for peaceful provisions but it is certainly worth the wait. I know people who come from a distance just so they can get their fill of vegan donuts! My recommendation is to get there when they open so you don't have to wait. They also tend to close if the run out of donuts for the day. But it's good to know they are fresh and tasty!
google avatar

Johnny B.

Yelp
OBSESSED would be an understatement. By far one of my favorite vegan places in the Hudson Valley. I have never had anything from here that wasn't just divine. From donuts to breakfast sandwiches and just as of recent croissants! Like what! Vegan Croissants! The only down side to this place is they are only open 3 days a week. So when that mid week craving hits I have to wait a few days. Be prepared if you show up on a nice day because there is always a line out the door. Trust me though stand on that line!
google avatar

Beatriz K.

Yelp
Whether you're a vegan or not, Peaceful Provisions' donuts are spectacular! Theyre so awesome, you have to wait in line for a chance to get some and they are usually sold out by noon! The donuts are generously sized and oh so delicious!!!!
google avatar

Anthony C.

Yelp
My partner and I have driven up to this establishment twice now (about an hour from our house). This place literally has THE BEST vegan donuts EVER! They have a wide variety of flavors. I got the witch hazelnut matcha and s'more (with chocolate pudding filling) donuts today, and my partner got the twisted cinnamon sugar and peach glazed cake donut. I also got the breakfast donut sandwich which is two impossible Pattie's, just egg, and violife vegan cheese between two unsweetened donut halves. Ratings: Witch hazelnut matcha - 4/5 (1 point deducted because it was a tad bit too sweet, which I feel like takes away from the deep earthy matcha notes) Breakfast donut sandwich - 5/5 S'more donut - 5/5 Cinnamon sugar twist - 5/5 Peach glazed cake donut - 4/5 (my partner personally doesn't like the denseness of cake donuts, but he thought the flavor was good) This place really is bomb dot com. Prices are moderate, but fair because these donuts are huge.

Christina B.

Yelp
What's left to say about Peaceful Provisions that hasn't already been said? Not sure what magic formula they use to make these vegan donuts, but they are amazing. Interesting flavors and perfect yeast donut texture. I paid $5+ for a donut.... and I will do it again. Bring some to your next get together and you will be a hero. Just make sure you only buy enough for a day or two at most. They don't keep well and are definitely best eaten same day.

Savannah J.

Yelp
The doughnuts here are fantastic but that's IF you can get them. Today I tried to pick up a box around 1:30 but they were closed way before their listed hours. This has happened multiple times. Online they're listed as being open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - all 9-3. How could you possibly run a functioning business with those hours AND close early on top of that?! The very least they could do is update their hours on Google so people don't continually show up hoping for doughnuts and leave with nothing. Big thank you to the owners for wasting my time this afternoon.
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
I'm not a vegan but I know from having eaten vegan donuts before that they are delicious and I definitely love supporting the cause anyway. I'm happy I found them by searching here because I read about the lines and showed up early. I was there before they opened so I took a walk. When I came back, about seven ppl were ahead of me but it moved fast. I got a box of four and they were DELICIOUS!!! Definitely worth it. Show up early so you're not disappointed, this place is definitely worth checking out!
google avatar

Kristen Z.

Yelp
It's much better than Dunkin but not enough to wait in line. Unless you are truly a vegan. Pros: friendly, variety/frequent new flavors and the size of the donuts are generous. Cons: the line, they sell out quickly, the flavors. So the NON filled donuts were good but the corn crème brûlée and the mixed berry were quite disappointing. It was like there was one flavor that just messed the whole thing up. In the crème brûlée I'd say it was definitely the corn aspect. The mixed berry just didn't have much flavor and what flavor it did have wasn't that appealing. But if you are a vegan, I would say this place is five stars because there is so little joy in the food vegans eat as it is.
google avatar

Kay W.

Yelp
I ordered others but we ate them. We went back and got more donuts bc they were so good. Several donuts are super gigantic, others are normal sized, but all of them are so tasty. My favorite was the Girl Scout Samoa donut. The two other favorites in our group was the chocolate brownie donut and the chocolate cinnamon donut. We are saving the gigantic coconut donut and maple pecan for later tonight. These donuts aren't only for vegans. I'm not vegan and I approve of these tasssssty donuts. :)
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Best donuts in the world, period! Only knock against it is that I can never choose one flavor over another, so I ended up buying them all. Cheat day turns into cheat weekend+ really quick.
google avatar

Iva S.

Yelp
The doughnuts are very soft and pillowy, and they have a great selection of sweet and savory flavors! There was a line out the door when we arrived at around 10 but it wasn't a long wait.

Mary O.

Yelp
Sadly went , Not a friendly atmosphere and the product wasn't that great , like many have posted...
google avatar

M B.

Yelp
I almost don't want to say how amazing it is because then I have to share. Best yeast donuts by far!!! One of a kind flavors. Worth a wait, every penny and every pound. This is my go to treat yo self spot!!!
google avatar

Alexa R.

Yelp
Peaceful Provisions is well-renowned for having amazing vegan doughnuts and they mostly lived up to that reputation. I came on a Saturday at 1pm when there was no line but only 2 non-filled cake donut flavors left. So definitely come early for the best selection! I tried the pumpkin French toast with candied pumpkin seeds and the chocolate cherry. The dough on both doughnuts was perfectly soft, fluffy, and light. While the chocolate cherry was good, I thought the chocolate flavor itself could've been stronger. The pumpkin French toast was amazing!! It was very sweet, but had a depth of flavor and texture.
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
Amazing donuts for anyone who likes donuts- vegan or not. I want to clearly state that I am no where near vegan and typically do not go for vegan options BUT my girlfriend is always up for trying vegan options so we came here for her. We got here around 10:30 today (Sunday) and they had a pretty decent selection left. We waited in line for about 5 minutes so not bad at all! We ordered the chocolate hazelnut, strawberry shortcake filled with vanilla pudding, and lemon poppy twist that's colored with butterfly pea tea. All were fantastic. The donuts were all airy, crisp, soft, and buttery (without the butter!). The chocolate and strawberry frosting tasted like it's flavors and not just like sugar. Highly recommend waking up and getting here early for these donuts!
