"Back in 1937 when Eunice Burroughs opened this greasy spoon, shoe-box sized diner, officials were still trying to figure out a name for Myrtle Beach. Almost a century later, the burgers are still sloppy, the hotdogs are still a foot long, and the Budweiser is still on tap." - Andre James

Good Afternoon my foodies. I definitely would recommend coming here for a quick bite. The food was delicious. I had a spicy chicken sandwich and chili cheese fries. The customer service was top tier. Food made fresh to order. Will definitely be returning thank you for your hospitality.

Walking the area, we came upon this establishment. Sat down wasn't crowded at all. Me and my family was met with a smile and good service. I ordered the foot long hotdog with chili and onions. I must say my first time trying this place it was pretty good. The fries were awesome, and my hotdog good. I think I will be returning here. The only thing that can be useful is a restroom for customers. They said it was for employees only

Since 1937, Peaches Corner has been the epitome of the classic American Lunch Counter restaurant with the long lunch counter and stool seating and a few booths and tables for larger groups. I walked in during the off season and off time, so I had plenty of seating choices and time to chat with all the staff who were extremely kind and friendly making me feel welcome as if I came in every day. I enjoyed the foot long hot dog with the chili and red onions and classic yellow mustard. The root beer float was generous with the ice cream and took me back to my childhood. Of you are in Myrtle Beach, a stop at Peaches Corner is a must.

We stopped to get our lunch. Servers were cordial. Food: catfish meal with fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, and soft drinks. If you can't finish, then order single items instead of the whole meal. Also, if you are not interested in fries and hush puppies, then don't order those. Convenient location for tourists. It's by the sidewalk, so it should be suitable for people with disabilities.

Google
100% the most amazing burger and fries in Myrtle Beach by far!!! Service was excellent. The woman who waited on us was so friendly and the absolute best. This is def a must come to place if you want a good price, friendly staff, great service and excellent food.

Google
They do not have a restroom even though they are a restaurant ..I have a medical condition that makes me go to the bathroom immediately...they didn't accommodate a person with a handicap I will be reporting them immediately..if I could give them zero stars.i would ..the owner said I am grand fathered in when I showed him the statue about him having to have a restroom and basically said oh well... I had to leave my entire family there eating and as a female go next door to use the restroom BY MYSELF AT MYRTLE BEACH ..anything could have happened The food was subpar the hotdogs greasy and and fried pickles hard and crunchy was there even a pickle in it? OMG the price for a greasy hotdog and limp fries $35..Pic of the bathroom with employees only on it now..pic.of greasy hotdogs

Google
We had Ashantay as our server and she was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to keep checking on us and making sure we had refills. The food was amazing and well priced for the area! The only downside we had was a server named Lisa. She had a very bad attitude to her coworkers as well as customers, however I will not allow her to bring the restaurants rating down! Highly recommend!!

Paula E.

Yelp
Food was amazing ! The hot dogs are the best ever ! The service is with a smile ! And the Ambiance is the same as it was back when it opened ! Outstanding!

Beth S.

Yelp
The food was good, it's a tiny place and booths were small so we sat at the counter. Terrific and personable staff, higher than average cost for a footlong hot dog--paid $7.99. Additional cost for fries and onion rings. Location was on the corner off the boardwalk without an ocean view, which was okay since it's a cute, vintage style snack restaurant. My partner ordered the pull pork plate, which was generously portioned and included fries, hush puppies & coleslaw. Our total bill including drinks and tip was $52.90.

Mitchell D.

Yelp
Walking around the boardwalk, we stumbled upon peaches corner with the foot-long hotdog and the root beer. Everything about this location is historic, which has been around for a very long time. The food is very good. The store was very clean and your foot steps away from the ocean and the boardwalk

Cynthia N.

Yelp
The food was not that great ! The fish sandwich was not very big for the cost . The footlong was average according to my husband . The staff were nice and friendly but I would not go back for food .

Jackie J.

Yelp
Visiting from Michigan, stopped in for lunch and so happy we did ! Great food, drinks, customer services and atmosphere Amazing ! I only wish more places around town was this great !!!!

Daryl E.

Yelp
Peaches Burger was good - very well seasoned LARGE beef patties, lettuce tomato - add your own condiments ketchup/mustard Service was great, reasonable. Ambiance is what you would expect being just off the boardwalk, very touristy Peaches Burger was really good, fries were also great. Got a BBQ sandwich also which I wasn't a fan of - the BBQ pork had a mushy texture, flavor was still there but the texture takes a lot away from the sandwich

Kim M.

Yelp
Stopped in for a snack after Ripley's BION Museum. 2 coffees, peach donut holes, waffle cone single scoop. Service, terrific. Coffee, hot and drinkable. Peach flavored donut holes (6). Too much sugar. We used a spoon to scrape off the sugar. At the end, the small tray had a pile of pink sugar in it. They were tasty without all the sugar. The hot dogs and fries I saw coming out looked good.

Toni D.

Yelp
Went in for chili dogs and they did not disappoint! Waiter was great! Only downfall is no restroom.

Matthew T.

Yelp
Awesome burger, juicy and thin double beef patties with melty cheese and seasoned fries! My wife got a barbecue plate that was also great. Service was nice and reasonably fast considering the other customers in the shop were rude and difficult for our server and the cook. We walked a mile here from our condo because the parking situation is not ideal, even Thanksgiving week. Comfortable and clean booths at a longtime Myrtle establishment.

Wanda T K.

Yelp
Love this place! Peaches Cheeseburger Basket and the Pulled Pork Sandwich were awesome! Hadn't been here since 1997 and OMG, Peaches did not disappoint!

Mande B.

Yelp
This hit the perfect spot when we got hungry after 9pm. Food was good, and tables offered a great place to people-watch. Not make for groups over 4 with the limited booths and just bar for seating.

Adam D.

Yelp
Food was really good. However, for my wife, myself, and two boys. We ended up paying $65+ before tip. Prices are absolutely higher than they should be.

Steve R.

Yelp
I saw this place driving by in my way to photograph Pier 14. I saw the sign that said "world famous foot long hotdog", and had to try it. They have a typical American menu; hotdogs, burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. Service was great. The young lady that helped me was extremely nice and kept up with me several times during my time there. The place is rather small. If you're sitting at the bar, there not much room for someone else to walk behind you. If you're like me and don't like people touching you, sit at one of the small booths. As for the hot dog??? It comes with chili, onions, mustard. It was decent. I wouldn't pass up trying something else to have another one. Definitely wouldn't put it in the world famous category.

Brandon W.

Yelp
Dear owner: I have been coming here for over 30 years. It's a bit weird to be asked to prepay for my meal when I'm receiving table service. But I draw the line at being asked to prepay my tip. Unless I am paying with cash, the server literally hands me a device asking me to prepay a tip for service yet to be received. This is a massive step in the wrong direction. I'm sad to say that I will no longer support your establishment.

Kpop L.

Yelp
WORST customer service EVERRRRR!!!!! I was at the to go window and my presence was ignored. I understand as a server your job is to entertain. customers as well know that you also have to take other peoples orders so I went inside hoping maybe i'll get my order taken and stood there for a while. NOT ONE TIME did she try to at least mention that she had to take my order. I was very dehydrated and all I wanted was a drink and there's no reason for me to be waiting that long JUST TO GET AN ORDER. and I'm not sure who the buff light skin man is, but he was VERY rude as well.

Doug L.

Yelp
What can you say, it's Peaches. The food? Frozen, low end bar food. Whether it's the meat, ketchup or bun, it will be the lowest/cheapest quality off the Monarch truck. Good? No. Edible? Yes. The service? Well, it's hit or miss. Our waitress, a younger woman, was grossly overwhelmed with just the handful of patrons in Nov. She was very pleasant, but was quite verbal she was exhausted at just 1pm and "was doing the best she can". Makes me really wonder for the younger generation when having 4-5 tables has maxed out their working capacity two hours from opening. You do pay and have to "guilt tip" when you order. I guess this "is what it is". The food is pricey for the quality, but not out of the norm for the location. Ambience, this is what keeps me going. It's the perfect view of the main strip. It's classic. You question the likely millions of people that have been thru their doors in the 80 years. If the walls could talk. I visited as a kid, now at almost 50, I still feel like a kid when I sit in a booth. I wax poetic. Perhaps the romance of the place is what keeps them open, and I can't argue that it's why I'll visit again.

Gregg N.

Yelp
Grabbed a quick meal. It's seat yourself. Sat down at the bar to watch some football and the grilling process. We got one of the specials. Service was quick. Not big enough for a party larger than about 4. It's literally a corner of a building.

Emily B.

Yelp
The ambiance is like an old diner. They only get two stars. One for the food and one for the customer service. The waitress was nice enough. The menu is deceiving. We went in specifically to get the hand dipped corn dog. It is clearly not hand dipped, and the hot dog was cold. The flavor was ok if you wanted a frozen corn dog. The sign also says smashed burgers. If you watch them making the burgers, they're just frozen patties on a flat top. I wouldn't recommend going here.

Jasmine N.

Yelp
My fellow yelpers, I got ya covered. I cannot recommend this spot unless you're leaving an after hrs spot and just need to fuel up. We had the spicy chicken, burger, short hot dog, and corn dog. The menu could use some updating. The food was very very underwhelming. They also forgot two of our party's food, and they don't have refills on drinks (fyi). Sorry, just wasn't good. Also, the manager was very rude to his staff who was on their first day. They shouldn't be treating staff like that in front of the whole restaurant or at all, pull them to the side.

Christina A.

Yelp
The service was great. The hostess was wonderful, she was very nice and polite. The ambiance was very cute, self seating, and very comfortable, like being in your mom's kitchen. The food was good. Thanks for the grub.

Jessie R.

Yelp
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Peaches. We were so thirsty after wandering around the boardwalk that our two year old was whining for water, and the waitress noticed and brought us our drinks right away before taking the rest of our order. She and the lady cooking were perfectly attentive and kind and were a blessing to our day. We all loved our food! Our kids got chicken tenders and split the foot long hot dog, and two order of fries was enough for all five of us. The BBQ sandwich had the best flavor, and my husband is still dreaming about the spicy chicken sandwich. Would make a point to eat here again if we return to Myrtle Beach!

Steve R.

Yelp
So I was hungry and just wanted a quick bite. Noticed the sign advertising hot dogs and stopped in. I was greeted right away and offered a menu. Opted for the short dog as mentioned on the menu ( chili , onions, mustard and slaw). Wow!! It was delicious. Complimented by a cold reasonably priced Yuengling beer and I was a happy camper. Definitely will be back!

Lakeisha J.

Yelp
The food was very tasteful and was very filling and presentation was ; the service was very fast and consistent and they kept my beverage cup full; The place reminds you of a cafe where you can sit at the bar and watch them cook your food I loved it‼

John C.

Yelp
I rain storm hit while my group was at the beach and everyone was a bit hungry once we got inside mid Afternoon. I volunteered to go to Peaches to pick up some nourishment. The woman who took my order was friendly and very patient as I read through our group's order and handled last minute substitutions when they were out of something (apparently, some of the online menus are outdated). Our order for 7 was ready in less than 10 minutes. Very impressive. Our order broke down like this: Hot dogs - Footlong and "short" were all good. Their chili has a strong tomato flavor and the hot dog itself has good flavor Burgers - Well-received Fries - Tasty and well-seasoned Fried pickles - Very good. With ranch, even better! Onion Rings - The super star! Our group loved the onion rings. Crispy and flavorful. I'd definitely recommend Peaches Corner as a stop for a bite to eat while at Myrtle Beach.

Josh P.

Yelp
If you have free up in and around Peaches Corner in Myrtle Beach, SC DO NOT GO BACK and let me explain why: No bathroom No refills Smaller portions but higher prices Pay before you get your food or your order is even placed Peaches Corner very disappointed in how downhill things have went!

Jim C.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this iconic Myrtle Beach landmark. But the service, cleanliness and food quality were soooo bad. I can't begin to describe how awful the cook was at this place. We had a front row seat to this guy moving in absolute slow motion and spending as much time texting on his phone as he did actually working. Food was slowly put in the deep fryer and then allowed to sit for over 15 minutes before he would put it on a plate to serve. They don't advertise fried hot dogs, but that's how they were cooked. Unfortunately the footlong bun was just served straight out of the bag, no steam, no grilling, nothing. The quality of the hot dog was good, but the chili was very tangy, not sure if it was tomato or vinegar, but it was odd. At $8 for a footlong, about $4 worth went in the trash.

Mitzi H.

Yelp
Highly disappointed here. $48 with tip for dinner for 2 - 2 drinks, a bbq plate (with hushpuppies??), and frozen cafeteria burgers. Will not be back.

Jon K.

Yelp
Staff was super friendly and polite. Took my order fast. They were really busy and the food took awhile to come out. I was just trying to run in and grab some hotdogs for a quick lunch for the family but it took about 15 minutes to get 4 hotdogs that ended up tasting like I microwaved some oscar meyers. Wouldn't recommend unless you are in a pinch as I was but the staff really was great and polite.

Jessica N.

Yelp
I love coming to this local gem. Best fried food on the boards you can get! Gotta try the fried Oreos and footling hotdog...kids can have fun feeding the fresh chips to the seagulls on the beach and the cold fountain drinks can't be beat!

Ruben C.

Yelp
I love the food they serve and the good service. I love their food and the hotdog is awesome. The food is delicious and they play ambiance country music.

Matt B.

Yelp
Waited 40 minutes for two corn dogs that never came. When I asked the waitress to check she said she doesn't control who makes the food.

Angie B.

Yelp
Not sure what the issue was but took over 30 min for them to make chicken tenders, corn dog and fries. No bathroom available. No refills on soda or lemonade. No tap water-you have to pay $2.50 for a bottle of water. Positive was that the food tasted good though.

N. S.

Yelp
Bottom line up front: would I return - YES. Would I Recommend - ABSOLUTELY. First off almost any establishment that exists for 100 years is pretty awesome...and preaches corner is no exception. We had pretty much everything on the menus but the bbq and that's because we were full. To start the service was awesome...attentive and wore masks and gloves. Then the food... I had a burger basket...juicy, flavorful and cooked fresh, the fries were crispy. The chili dog was amazing. Warning the chili is spicy....but it tastes soooo good. Being from DC Ben's chili bowl would be a comparison. We loved the chili so much it had a lot flavor. The hush puppies were excellent too. Next time we will try the BBQ. The chili was so good I just have one question what type of hot sauce do they use? When I asked I was told it's a small batch family secret recipe. Adds the bit of mystery that every good place needs...I guess. Great food look forward to another round! My ratings are based on expectation of a restaurant, service, perception of value, and food. In this case they hit the marks. If you expect something other then burgers, BBQ, and chili dogs probably should try somewhere else.

Clarissa P.

Yelp
We're do I start! I was hype because I love a good hot dog but this is not it ! I told the lady and the man in the grill I like my hot dog piping hot and I took one bite and asked for a to go box so I can zap it in the microwave at my hotel ! It was cold!!!! Almost 13.00 for a cold hot dog with no flavor and fries. The fries were pretty good and there is no way to go below 1 on the rating! The Caucasian men and black man were very nice and gentlemen but the Caucasian lady was not pleasant at all! I can not recommend because of the nasty ladies attitude and bad hot dog! I would have been better of paying 1.50 at the circle K shell station and zap it in microwave, it would have least been hot at a low price and still taste better than Peaches Corner! Just cause they been ope over 100 years dose not make it good! Quite honestly they should just stop if they have no intentions of providing hot quality food at an outrageous price and bad attitude! I'll tell family and friends and I'll will not go back! Hot dogs when I was 10 at the A&P is always the measuring tool and they failed miserably by choice! Also, I am a kidney patient and they told me that I could not use the bathroom! NO PUBLIC BATHROOM AT A RESTAURANT! HOW IS THIS LEGAL????

Lori L.

Yelp
Pretty good spot! Came here for a quick lunch. I got a corn dog and a hot dog with chili. Both were good and piping hot. My husband got the grilled chicken sandwich. He liked his sandwich! Prices are decent. Place is not large at all. We sat at the bar. Their sweet tea is also good!

Veronica C.

Yelp
Rating 2 stars because the staff was not attentive or friendly. They have a take out window - says come on in we're open, take out window with tips bucket. Seems like pretty straight forward, order here? Waited a couple minutes, a nice girl came to greet us. Told her we'd be right back, came back to the window less than a minute later. I wait by the window and see 3-4 staff members standing inside looking at me waving me to come in and getting annoyed. Clearly this is a take out window and I'm basically being rejected service - refusing to come to take my order at the take out window. I can see them just standing inside talking. I ask the girl when I see her if I can place my order while she is running around weeded with no help. I ask her why her co workers aren't helping her out? She says they never do, and takes my order with a smile. Haven't even gotten the food yet - but I appreciate good friendly service just as much as I expect delicious food. Very disappointed with the lack of hospitality at this place.

Michael T.

Yelp
This place...just...please bring back the goblets. What tha'...been drinking out of those thick glass goblets since 1978. Only place in the world I ever saw those. You aught to bring those back. Cheeseburgers are still awesome, but please...take the plastic cups around the corner.

Ostara B.

Yelp
Okay for $70 I do NOT recommend The place is half the size of Waffle House and you pay on top of a trash can LITERALLY NOT KIDDING. Staff wasn't impressive and did the basics fast in and out service. These homestyle burgers my family and I had were just OK the chicken fingers standard prefrozen garbage. Again for $70 I'd take my money elsewhere and have a nice experience- plastic everything and a meal I could have made for $15

Alyona Z.

Yelp
Came here for Christmas Eve dinner and ordered their famous burger baskets. The food took a while to get to our table, but there was literally only one person running the whole restaurant, so we were understanding. The food was fresh and delicious and worth the wait. We also had the deep fried Oreos, which were good if you like that kind of stuff. I personally wasn't a fan, but they didn't go uneaten. I however really enjoyed the French fries. They were the perfect flavor and crisp. Will definitely return here in the future. I'd highly recommend getting the world famous burger basket.

Paul Thomas V.

Yelp
Got the Peaches burger $14 for just a burger . Tasted like a school lunch burger , not good , no bathrooms , no refills on drinks , must pay soon as you order , tables are for 4 people max . Other 3 folks with me got the Peaches burger too . All took a couple bites trashed the burger .

Michael T.

Yelp
This was the one place I wanted to try in Myrtle Beach. I heard about it online as one of the older iconic hot dog stand restaurants on the beach. It's divey and that's fine by me. My wife and youngest went with the Peach's Burger and my son wanted chicken fingers due to his lack of originality on our trip (chicken strips and wings and BLTs are about it for him). Em went with the short dog plain while I went with the foot long and sweet potato fries. We had an order of regular fries as well. The girls loved the burgers and I loved my foot long and fries. Service was fine and pop was expensive and no water unless you wanted it bottles and you pay before you eat. If you want a quick bite, the food is good. Foot long is $7.99 so not bad at all. The Peach's Burger is $12.99 and with fries is $14.99. The server was nice. It's a classic. I'd probably just order from the window in the future but the people were friendly.

Kayla B.

Yelp
Wasn't particularly fond of this place. Read articles that recommended it as a "must-go" for Myrtle Beach-goers. Definitely wasn't impressed. Service was pretty horrible, food was meh, and the restaurant didn't seem too clean. However, the food is super cheap compared to a lot of boardwalk areas, so if you're on a budget and not too picky, it's not horrendous. PROS: -You can watch your food being prepared right in front of you. This allows you to watch as your food is being made. -Food is served to your table super, super piping hot. It doesn't get more fresh than that. You'll most-likely have to wait for the food to cool down before you can have it. -The prices are super reasonable. You can get away with a full meal for under $8 a person and still feel pretty satiated. -Counters have neat photos and text stories about the history of the restaurant. This place has been around Myrtle Beach for a looong time, and the neat old-time photos and new stories tell that story. -Beer is served in glass chalice glassware. They're pretty neat. Even a Miller Lite. CONS: -Restaurant didn't seem to be too clean. The counter was literally sticky. Some of the barstools had liquid spilled on them. The place looks like it's in need of a bit of repair. -I felt like I was really annoying the staff by coming into the restaurant. Both the cook and the server seemed really annoyed by our presense, and I felt like I was bothering them the entire time I was there. -Food wasn't amazing. It wasn't horrendous, but it wasn't anything super amazing. It tasted okay, but I certainly wouldn't call it "Best Hot Dogs in Myrtle Beach" or anything similar. It's okay.

Lucy T.

Yelp
This is the dirtiest place I have ever been to. When they gave me my food places a poorly made sandwich on a very tiny paper plate. I was not giving a tray or fork. They slapped some pulled pork on a flimsy bun on a tiny paper plate, then placed it in front of me. The guy didn't even know which sandwich was which. He said the chicken was the fish sandwich. The garbage was overflowing and it was so dirty on the outside you would have dirtied your hands just throwing out your trash. Disgusting.

Danielle J.

Yelp
This spot has been around for years and I had to give it a try! Famous dogs and burgers.. my kinda spot. I had the bruiser (bacon wrapped, beer batters hotdog topped with chili and onion and cheese on the bun) and a root beer float. It was great, I definitely had to walk the boardwalk after. I loved the hot dog itself, but wished the chili had some spice to it. The atmosphere was very welcoming, we were greeted by everyone and the guy running the show made some jokes with us. Old joint with bar seating and a few indoor and outdoor seating options. The place isn't huge, so I suggest going to try this place in the day rather than night, so you won't have to wake.

Michael T.

Yelp
Peaches corner has been a staple of Myrtle Beach for over 50+ years. As the grand Strand changes and businesses come and go peaches corner has survived. Fun to dip in and sit at the 20 or so counter seats have a big hamburger and a cold beer.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
I loved Peaches Corner - and this the end of an Era for me. And one star? Let me explain. I'm 36, and I've come to MB every year of my life (often more than once) on vacation since before I could walk. Peaches Corner is not only an iconic MB location but also one in my own heart. I actually have a COLLECTION of their t-shirts in almost every color that I've collected through the years. The food has never been fancy, it's never been spotlessly clean, and prices have always been a la carte (and can add up quickly) ... but the EXPERIENCE mattered ... and I made the trip year after year. No more. Peaches has gotten SO expensive that they are charging $6-7 for a plain hot dog, $12 for a burger, $8 for a corn dog ... all a la carte (I could go on). They no longer offer a restroom (which I believe is illegal for a food establishment) - don't give drink refills (always have in the past - and are just lack luster completely. For the first time EVER, I walked out today. I can't bring myself to pay $30 for a hot dog lunch and be treated rudely by wait staff. Peaches - we had a good run together - so many YEARS of wonderful memories - photos and shirts and time spent with family and friends - but I won't be back.

Bryce C.

Yelp
It was ok I mean we did show up at 930 - 10 but waited 35 mins for our food the one girl was very rude when asking what sauces we wanted way overpacked like sardines the short dog was ok but the corn dog was cooked definitely fast and got forgotten about and burnt not my best hot dog either and the fries tasted soggy

Kristen E.

Yelp
Came here after the Carolina music festival. There were no signs on the door about waiting to be greeted outside by a staff member. We walked in twice and was greeted by an angry staff member Kristy telling us to wait in line. We went outside and there was no line. She brought us inside and sat us at a table. While we were ordering she told a friend of mine "you are the angry looking one". She said that about a paying customer. We ordered waters and food and weren't told the waters would be bottled and we would have to pay for them. Good food but some of the worst Customer service I've experienced in a long while. Would not recommend.

James O.

Yelp
Great food!!!This place is great, make sure you order the footlong hotdog!Peaches has been around for 85 years from hotdogs, footlongs, corn dogs, catfish, cheese fries,BBQ and cold beer on tap you will not go wrong!!
