"A newly opened “fine casual” Indian restaurant at 13736 Michigan Ave. that emphasizes quality ingredients and precision, its menu features items such as samosas, saag paneer, chana masala, butter chicken and chicken curry. The owners posted on Instagram after opening, noting eight months of preparation and asking for patience as they work out early hiccups with a goal of providing the best possible experience. Early customer feedback was mixed: a first Yelp reviewer described long waits (about 45 minutes for curry and roti for a party of six), an underwhelming appetizer of potato chips, and questioned value if a $12 buffet was served, saying the food was “not bad” but should have tasted better and leaving overall “not satisfied.” The critiques mirror typical first-day chaos and suggest the operation may improve after a few days of adjustments." - Erin Perkins

We ordered from here last night for our anniversary. 5 star experience. The website is user friendly. We ordered two entrees (branzino and beef), two appetizers (arugula salad and octopus), two sides (brussel sprouts and sweet mashed) and a dessert (chocolate cake). Less than an hour later it was on our table warm and ready to eat. The food quality was excellent. The serving sizes are generous. The cost is very fair and reasonable. We would absolutely use Peacock Gourmet again. Looking forward to having my leftovers for lunch today.

The food is superb, and the choices are plentiful to fill a special invitation!, a picnic, a family diner, or for an intimate setting... After another long, exhausting day at work, I arrived home not looking forward to making dinner at all. Peacock Gourmet delivered everything I wanted, and more!
