Peak District offers stunning landscapes, rolling hills, and beautiful villages. We visited Mam Tor, Speedwell Cavern, Poole's Cavern, Cave Dale, had an adventurous hike to the B29 Overexposed crash site and more. The park is home to diverse wildlife, interesting historic sites, and diverse hiking trails making it perfect for everyone. If you are looking to escape into nature, this is a must visit destination!

Loved this park- lots of trails up/down the big peak and little paved lanes down into town. Beautifully maintained for a park that’s free to enter! Very dog friendly, I’d imagine it gets busy on the weekends. Along the paved lane into town you’ll pass a children’s playground and then a ton of pet friendly cafes to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat (most places I saw also advertise as dog friendly!)

The Peak District is a true treasure! We went in the summer, which was the ideal season to explore this gorgeous national park. With stunning views at every bend, the walks are amazing. There is a trail for everyone, regardless of your level of hiking experience or preference for a more relaxed walk. Don't pass up the opportunity to view the vast moorlands, charming villages, and undulating hills. I strongly advise planning your next summer vacation to the Peak District!

Peak District National Park is absolutely stunning—rolling hills, peaceful trails, and breathtaking views at every turn. It’s perfect for walking, cycling, or just relaxing in nature. The wildlife is a treat to watch, especially the sheep and lambs! A brilliant destination for all ages, and a true escape into the countryside.

I visited the Peak District recently and found it to be a very enjoyable place to spend time. The walking routes are well signposted, and there are paths for all levels of ability. The scenery changes from open hills to valleys and small villages, which makes each walk different. There are plenty of places to stop for food and drink, and the people I met were friendly. Public transport links make it possible to reach many areas without a car, which is useful. The only real drawback is the toilet facilities. In some areas there are not enough, and when you do find them they are often in poor condition. Some were not very clean, and a few looked like they had not been maintained for a long time. This can be frustrating, especially on longer walks or with children. Overall, the Peak District is a great place to visit for walking, or simply spending time outdoors. If the toilet facilities were improved, it would make the experience even better.

Visited Bakewell for the day 3rd July and wow so glad we did. The scenery on the drive was so beautiful and didn't disappoint when we arrived. Beautiful weather and such a beautiful place to visit. Had a lovely dinner then went for a lovely walk along the river. Lots of benches to sit and watch the world go by. What a great way to enjoy a lovely day out. I recommend that anyone visit.
