Where to Drink Astral Margs in Denver | Eater

"Towering above the downtown on the 27th floor, Peaks Lounge has floor-to-ceiling windows that offer breathtaking panoramic views of one of the best things in Colorado: the mountains. With such a beautiful view outside, the interior is rustic and minimal, with leather couches, dark wood, a marble bar, and touches like antler chandeliers.. The menu includes Asian-inspired dishes like ramen, sushi rolls, potstickers, and beef skewers. Order a few bites alongside the tequila Old Fashioned, made with Astral Blanco, agave, and Angostura and orange bitters." - Rebecca Treon

Came here for drinks and the view! I thought the atmosphere was great and the view is amazing, however the prices are insane. It was $18 for any of the cocktails, desserts, or appetizers. I liked my drink ok but we opted to go somewhere else for dessert due to the price.

Very quiet. Different vibe from the other rooftop bars. No matter the weather you can still get beautiful views. Which we enjoyed. The drinks were great. The food was okay. The cake was a little dry but the edamame was yummy!

Google
I had a great experience with great views and great food. Waiter did a great job at keeping the table. Happy despite the kitchen being out of half the menu. Keylime cheesecake was outstanding.

Google
I had an amazing dining experience at Peak, a rooftop restaurant with stunning views. The panoramic cityscape, especially at sunset, creates the perfect ambiance for a memorable evening. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout the night. If you’re looking for a place with both incredible food and breathtaking views, Peak is a must-visit!

Google
We came here after all the other bars in town were closed or closing. The food was good so was the service but the atmosphere was amazing. The views were amazing! The place was packed!! The staff was super nice & trying to keep up with all the people they were trying to serve. Glad I was staying on the 29th floor, it was a safe ride back to my room.

Google
Our waiter Kev was super nice and kind, our first time here from California, he made our welcome so memorable! He’s very patience and kind! Always smiling! We enjoyed every moment! Dinner was delicious! Thank you again !

Google
Beautiful views of Denver in a chill setting on the 27th floor of the Hyatt Regency next to Denver’s convention center. This is a perfect place to view Denver‘s holiday drone show… 7 PM every evening until the end of December… Service is always friendly and the drinks are tasty, the food is good too and great for a light snack with friends and family. Great outing to show visitors the Denver skyline!

Google
Went tonight august 20 2024 for drinks and food which served as dinner. Victoria was our waitress and she was professional and efficient and checked on us frequently. We ordered a raspberry lemon drop and a barrel aged old fashioned. The drink was a very short pour. For food we had the yellowtail sashimi, pork buns, beef skewers, poke nachos. For dessert the chocolate fondue. The pork buns were good however in one bite sauce shot out everywhere including my dress and all over my hands. Hopefully it comes out. The poke nachos had so little fish they were not worth it. Dessert was delicious. Busy as hotel is very busy. The views were pretty. A nice evening.

Yelp
After many years, this place is still top notch. Great date nights, out of towners or just cause. Sunset times are generally popular as is night times too. Peaks Lounge offers sweeping views of LoDo and much of the mountains. Even a couple taller buildings have been built over the years it's definitely still a looker! I ordered one of their berry gin and tonics and it was excellent to go with capping off the night. Service is still top notch and all drinks come out quick. Highly recommend a place like this. Check it out! Come with a smile and leave with a smile too!
google avatar

Yelp
Peaks is the 27th floor lounge of the Hyatt Regency across the street from the convention center. The views from the 27th floor at sunset were magnificent. We saw the city with the mountain peaks in the background. The drink prices were higher than the area but not exorbitant.
google avatar

Yelp
Come for the view, stay for the food! Our group of nine enjoyed the views while sampling shareables like shrimp spring rolls, pot stickers, poke nachos, and edamame. Everything we ordered was tasty. We also got a variety of drinks, from various cocktails, to wine, to mocktails, and everyone seemed to enjoy the drinks as well. Service was efficient and unobtrusive, which is exactly what you want when you're with a big group.

Yelp
Love this spot! Great for a special occasion or date. We went for the aviation gin cocktail making class (classes happening through summer of 2025) and had so much fun learning how to make a better cocktail. Sushi was great! Can't remember what roll I got but it was delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Very nice hotel bar with a beautiful view of the front ranges in the background. Service was friendly and attentive. Drinks were decent, a bit uninventive, but solid. Definitely worth a stop in for the views
google avatar

Yelp
The view alone is worth a visit to this (almost) hidden gem in downtown Denver. The vesper cocktail is a must try. The volcano's sauce edamame is worth an order (or 2!). You won't regret visiting this lounge.

Yelp
With all the snow this weekend, do you want to enjoy the winter vibes but can't make it to the mountains? I've got you covered! They are wrapping up their Winter Lounge theme on 1/26! Located on the 27th floor of the Hyatt Regency, it's the perfect spot for cozy winter vibes without leaving the city. What we tried: Cheese Fondue: pretzel bites, assorted vegetables, bison skewers Snow Crab & Gruyère Spätzle: cheesy Gruyère sauce, snow crab pieces Swedish Meatballs: gravy, lingonberry chutney Devils on Horseback: balsamic glaze, apricot compote Chocolate Fondue: fresh berries, brownie bites, marshmallows, Rice Krispies, pretzel rods Apple Beignets: caramel sauce, cinnamon, sugar Bailey's Milk & Cookies Shot Frosted Cranberry Margarita Apres Old Fashioned Best bites: The apple beignets and devils on horseback stole the show for me! The Swedish meatballs were also absolutely delicious

Yelp
The view is unbeatable from Peaks Lounge and I recommend you stop by just for that. But there's so much more happening here. We stayed here for a conference, so we ended up here often. The only item that was less than stellar was that the wine-by-the-glass selection was fairly disappointing. Luckily, we worked our way around this by ordering bottles instead- hooray! The food menu is great here too. I would suggest the bao buns and the wagyu skewers if you're here. The staff was the friendliest in town too.

Yelp
Perfect bar to go watch the sunset at! We showed up just in time for the sunset and it was packed but we were able to find a table. We just got cocktails (espresso martini and old fashioned) which were standard but good and standard price for hotel bars. Overall came here for the views and we were not disappointed! Would definitely recommend this place for some of the best views of the city and mountains.

Yelp
This is a beautiful lounge on the top floor of the Hyatt Regency downtown. We went a couple of times during our stay at the hotel for drinks and light bites. We ordered every item on the sharables menu and the brussels sprouts with the sweet chili lime drizzle were very good. Another crowd favorite was the edamame and avocado guacamole. The honey sriracha wings were tasty but not spicy. To finish, we got the chocolate molten lava cake. A bite of the cake with the coconut ice cream on top was pure perfection. I dreamt about that cake! We found ourselves back at Peaks after dinner one night and my eye was specifically on that chocolate cake. Unfortunately we were informed that the kitchen closed at 10, before we arrived. I guess you have to go early for the food but you can stay late for drinks and the city view.

Yelp
A friend and I came here on a Friday evening and there isn't a hostess, so we weren't sure if we could just sit down at one of the tables. We did and nobody stopped us, so I assume it's open seating. They have some fun, seasonal drinks and it's decorated very cozy for the winter. The food choices were more limited than I was hoping, as we wanted to have dinner there. As everyone says, the views are amazing.
google avatar

Holly P.

Yelp
I visited here on Saturday night to grab a quick meal at the bar. There were lots of people there hanging out. The food menu is limited but I came knowing I would order ramen which is one of the food items they serve. I ordered the vegetarian ramen. I thought it was tasty. The bartender was polite. It did take a while for the dish to be served but that is likely due to the number of people at the lounge.

Yelp
Beautiful space with a sweeping view of Denver and the mountains in the background. The decor is beautiful and the drinks were great. Loved the pear tree martini. Service was a little slow (there were a couple of big groups) but very friendly and organized. Great place to bring out of town guests.

Yelp
If you want to experience an amazing top view of downtown Denver while sipping a great cocktail, Peaks Lounge is the place to be! Located on the 27th floor of the Hyatt Regency, it offers breathtaking scenery along with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The hosts by the elevator are always warm and friendly, setting the perfect tone for the evening. One of the best parts is the open seating -- unlike some places (looking at you, New York!), there are no unnecessary "reserved" signs blocking tables for hours. I can't wait to return to Denver just to visit Peaks Lounge again!
google avatar

Jill S.

Yelp
Incredible view, nice ambiance, great cocktails, and excellent service. The food leaves a bit to be desired and the prices for everything are quite high, but you are paying for the view. That view! I'd definitely go back if I were in the area.
google avatar

Terry D.

Yelp
Beautiful views! The servers were super friendly and helpful. The drinks are good and reasonable. The last night I ordered the apple pie dessert. It came in a container that looked like it was just baked but sadly it was cold-but still pretty good. The plastic flowers and fake candles are unfortunate design choices.
google avatar

Micah R.

Yelp
Quick review... Bottom-line: This is one place you go to see the sunset and city view and the snowcapped mountains. This is what you are paying for, IMO. It is worth doing once and Peaks seems to be as good a place as any to do it. Staff was friendly and nice. You can get less expensive cocktails and tapas all over town. But you're probably not going to take out your camera and take a picture outside from your booth. Been there. Done that. Glad we did. Next.

Yelp
The view of the city is absoutely incredible. Breath taking (literally if you aren't used to that altitude) and very grateful to get a table next to the window. When it comes to the service, we were able to get our drinks taken care of and ordered very quickly, but when we were ready to order food we never received any service again. No one came back to check on us, and we were just given our bill after finishing these drinks. Do I recommend? Of course, look at the space of where you are! But the service could use some support on training to better prepare their staff for checking in on guests who'd like to order additional items..

Jeri S.

Yelp
1st of all haven't been here for at least 5 years. Really dig the updated look about the place. Fur Pelts hanging over the back of the bar chairs inviting you in on a snowy night. The chairs at the tables had these thin but warm blankets draped over the chairs was pretty impressed since last time we were here it failed on so many levels. Service was very good and attentive! Drinks were good at going rate for drinks now days anywhere. Still could work on the food as I give it a C and that might be generous. We had the Cheese Fondue with veggies, it was ok but man with the views and fireplace and ambiance I would think they would want people to come up here and have 3 or 4 drinks and some good food to keep them here, but sadly the food didn't make it, again. We came for memories and drinks so I give them 4 stars for that. Good job on the refresh looks great.

Yelp
Avoid Peaks Lounge. The wait staff and "manager" are extremely rude and unfriendly. The drinks are made poorly and served in dirty glasses. They can not pour a beer properly, mix a cocktail, and will short you on the Old Fashioned, which we called them out on and sent back immediately. It was also served in a filthy glass. The server was MIA, so my husband went up to the bar and addressed the issue with the manager, who seemed bothered because he was too busy socializing. He was defensive and kept making excuses about the sloppy pour. The bartenders, servers, and manager, were constantly socializing instead of taking care of customers. We only had drinks and came here because we were given a gift card. We had thought about giving our gift card away because of the poor reviews but decided to go for it. Wish we hadn't. The behavior from the staff and the quality of our drinks were not even worth a gift card. We were choking the drinks down and couldn't wait to leave. We still owed a little over $10, unfortunately. Two poorly made cocktails and two warm/awful tasting beers were $60. Zero tip was left for the "server." If you're a native of Colorado like myself, the "view" is nothing spectacular. Let's be honest, it's trashy Denver. There are much better places to enjoy drinks in the Metro area.

Yelp
If I could push 0 I would What a load of hype this place is i'd rather stay at the hotel than to ever visit this lounge again Mind you the view is amazing But on the other hand, the service and the servers were beyond , short staffed, mouthy, rude, and literally carried themselves like they did not give a crap about you Example...... we sat down in the two chairs facing out the window We did not see a server mind you we were near the bar. We did not see a server for 25 minutes. When we finally got a server, he brought one drink out of our two and did not offer us water before he walked away with our drink order. No water was given. I finally got up and went over and ordered our drinks at the bar because we knew we would have to wait another half hour or so to get a second round When I got up to the bar, apparently I was at the wrong side. It's where the cocktail servers go, but I asked the girl is this where we order drinks and she turned around in her ridiculous flannel shirt. And looked me dead in the eye with such a rudeness and said we will get to you. And I said I didn't ask that miss what I wanted to know is where do I order a glass of wine and all she did was point to the bar...RUDE In case you wanted to know who it was, I did not get her name, but she was short, ratty, looking brown ponytail, and glasses. Wow I could not believe how rude she was While I went up to the bar, I asked the bartender Robles ( red wine) He asked me a question and I couldn't hear him So he proceeds to answer back to me in this manner .... Do.... you....want ..... 6 oz..... or.... 9 In a slow condescending voice, no smile looking me dead in the eye with the biggest attitude I said nine please, and then he turned away, but looked at me like ()see that wasn't so hard )) I got the wine and when I got back to our table, our drinks were still not there I told my boyfriend when I got back to the chair, how rude the bartender was to me. He said yeah what a shame the girls next to us ordered a bottle of champagne like 35 minutes ago I understand that people get busy, but if you're gonna have that many people there and fill up that lodge like it was then don't go on Instagram posting how beautiful your experience will be I will never go back there. I've already seen the view. There are so many amazing amazing rooftop bars amazing views to be seen. They can keep their rude attitude We will never be back and trust me we will spread the word I have never been treated like such a dumb ass when I got to the bar he literally spoke to me word by word so slow as if I was a complete idiot, did not understand But yet I still tipped him Because that's kind He and the other people working there on the other hand were not So what we do as we just don't go back and give our money Shame on you servers there on Saturday night Dec 14th 2024 at 5:00 pm
google avatar

Yelp
3.5 stars. Love the ambiance, especially if you sit by the window and overlook Denver. Who doesn't love a rooftop lounge? Service is fantastic, and they're open late night. My favorite part is the Dirty Gin Martinis. The Brussel Sprouts were delicious as well, but I wasn't a huge fan of the Steak Bowl. Rice was a little undercooked, and I feel like some of the ingredients didn't go well together. Regardless, I've never actually stayed in this Hyatt, but I'd totally come back to Peaks Lounge for drinks again.

Yelp
Great views from the 27th floor of the Hyatt Regency of downtown Denver and looking east to the Rockies. Old fashioned's are the best.

Yelp
* Plus size review * I came here for drinks with friends. We tried three different entree plates and two desserts. I am more of a picky eater at times and a lot of the menu is jazzed up. I found that I liked the wonton tostadas (kind of tastes like beef jerky!) and the lemongrass potstickers were really good. The fondue is really good and comes with lots to dip in the chocolate. It was a great dessert to share. My friend ordered the carrot cake and really enjoyed it! The view is great obviously and for a Sunday night it was very low key it was so nice to have privacy but also be surrounded by people spread out through the place. It is a cozy atmosphere and they have cute pillows and blankets and decor to top it all off. For seating you have so many options to choose from. There are some couches and lots of chairs. Overall I would say most everything is big people friendly and you should DEFINITELY check this place out in confidence!!
google avatar

Rodge B.

Yelp
Le Meridien's rooftop bar was closed the night we tried to go there, so the front desk recommended we go to the Hyatt across the street. Peaks Lounge isn't an open to the elements bar, but you have cool views of the northwest areas of downtown Denver from the 27th floor. A little pricy for just getting Coors Lights.
google avatar

Yelp
While this place is definitely pricey, the view makes it all worth it. We headed up for my husband's birthday and snagged a table next to the window on a Tuesday about half an hour before sunset. There was no wait and we were immediately greeted with waters, followed very quickly by our drink orders. I opted for the Paloma while the birthday boy got a standard margarita. The drinks definitely had a kick and we were very appreciative of the heavy hand of tequila to celebrate the day. The edamame and avocado guacamole came out fresh and covered in toasted sesame seeds, giving it a delightful nutty flavor. The lemongrass chicken potstickers were piping hot and incredibly tender with a sweet ginger dipping sauce, and the roasted brussel sprouts were soft and crispy at the same time, with a delightful sweet chili lime glaze. We snacked to our hearts' content, ordered another round and watched the sun slowly dip behind the mountains. Again, expensive (since it's a hotel restaurant most likely), but worth it when it comes to a celebratory day.

Yelp
Come for the views! Skip the food. Stick to the booze. Then you'll be a ok. I was here for a whole week this week for business. So are 8,000 other people for multi conferences! And Charles Schwab! Whomps. Getting a suite at Hyatt was next to impossible since they were sold out. Getting a drink here was the same. I came up for sunset after a rough day. Well so did everyone. The bar had zero seat at 5:55 pm. Also the sunset!' No counter tops, bar seats, many cute booths or the super comfy lounge tables for 2 next to glass were open. I made my round through the whole bar.. ready to walk out! Saw a couple left and dashed for it. Victory! But that's about it!! I got the shrimp tempura sushi ( usually I prefer raw but wasn't feeling that adventurous in Denver).. it came ice cold. The worst sushi I have ever had. I picked out a piece of shrimp tempura. Pretty much left the whole thing. Yuck!! I wanted a second item but after that.. I skipped and got the dessert. They had assortment of mochis, cookies or molten lava cake. Since it is my dinner, I decided to go with molten lava cake. I guess I didn't read the find print but it came with giant mint chocolate chip ice cream: YUCK! Like out of all the ice cream, the worst one! I dumped the ice cream onto a different plate. Molten cake was a ok then. Had a mojito too but it was meh! Service was good though even though they were crazy busy!! Come for the views and maybe a drink. But skip the food!! So bad!
google avatar

Lupe F.

Yelp
Great lounge you can grab appetizers/ small dinner and a drink here. For dinner there's not too many options. The food is more finger food and a salmon option and pork bowl option. We tried both and they were pretty good. The drinks were pretty good. I had a fruity drink and my bf had a whiskey. We were both very satisfied with the drinks and dinner options. You do get a very nice view of the city from the 20 something floor. We came at night and it was a pretty scenery. We stayed at the hotel and we're happy we didn't have to go out in the cold to get a good meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Views: 5* Service: 3* Value: 3* Ambience: 4* Located in the Hyatt, Peaks Lounge is an indoor bar and lounge. Good views of the mountains and city scape without needing to be outside. I find the next door 54thirty bar on the rooftop of the next door AC hotel to be better as it is open air.

Bruce S.

Yelp
Very poor service from our waiter and not enough wait staff to provide sufficient service. In other words, poor management. We inquired as to why all the tables around us that sat down considerably later than we did already all had their food, the waiter said there's nothing I can do, the kitchen is busy. So we had to flag down a manager and this person found our food right away. Food was fine but kinda ruined by the service experience.
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
Such a nice view of the city at night. It is a big favorite of ours during the holiday's. We have rented this out for an after party for an awards ceremony for the past couple of years and it is a great spot for a larger group. They always do it up right and the staff is amazing. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We wanted to find a place to sit with a view while visiting Denver. A friend recommended Peaks lounge, as did Yelp, so we chose it to try to catch a sunset view. The lounge is at the top of Denver's Grand Hyatt hotel, which is a huge; bustling space. After a walk through the lobby, we inquired about how to get to this bar. You take an elevator to the 27th floor. The lounge itself is really well designed, with a mix of seating options. We absolutely loved the stylish chairs we chose, so comfortable but cool looking. The staff keeps the shades half down until the sun starts setting, keeping the place cool and also from blinding you. The drinks were well crafted, a mix of unique flavors. Ours were served in copper cups. Staff was friendly, efficient. My top pick for a place in Denver where you can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and enjoy a drink with a view. We noticed the roof bar at the Meridian across the street had a lot more people, a packed crowd. We were glad we chose this bar for our outing.
google avatar

Thomas H.

Yelp
We were visiting Denver and we thought we would try out this bar on the 27th floor of the Hyatt hotel on 15th St., because it has huge glass windows with a panoramic view of the city and the mountains. Obviously the prices are a little bit high but not too bad because you're paying for the view but we got a couple drinks and our server, Nichole, was amazing! She was so helpful with the drinks and explaining which ones were dry or sweeter (my husband doesn't like sweet drinks). We also ordered the pork bao buns and they were super delicious. We will definitely be back on future vacations!
google avatar

Pete J.

Yelp
Do you enjoy the taste of ass in your warm beer? Or being served a $20 Old Fashioned the size of a sip? Or how about a staff to customer ratio of 2:1 where you'll be ignored for hours while they laugh and talk at the bar. If you enjoy serving yourself and paying $45 for parking while viewing breathtaking views of Denver's encampment population, then come to Peaks Lounge where you'll pay twice what you should for half the quality and zero service.
google avatar

Kayla M.

Yelp
Food was not worth the cost or calories. The chicken wrap was shredded chicken and flavorless. Edamame tasted microwaved. Sashimi.. they found a way to mess up raw chicken. The only thing good was my drink, it was delicious. Grab a drink and skip the food.
google avatar

Jade H.

Yelp
The views were spectacular and got me psyched to be in Denver. The food is quite rich and tasty. The mocktails were as tasty as the cocktails. Pricy in my mind but it's ok for hanging out. The service leaves us alone to socialize. She's pretty busy. Maybe too busy.
google avatar

Mike Z.

Yelp
Cool lounge area on the 27th floor of the Hyatt Regency. They serve drinks and small plates but no draft beer. Get there early as it gets packed at night. Go when they open at 4pm to take in the Rocky Mountain Views!
google avatar

Jed J.

Yelp
Has the best views and some great food for great prices! Id recommend to anyone looking for a denver high top bar
google avatar

Dana W.

Yelp
LOOOOVVVVED this place. This would be such an amazing first date place! Bar located in the Hyatt downtown with the most incredible views of the city. Dinner was not available, just small plates but you can't beat the view. I will be back 1000 more times!!
google avatar

Demond S.

Yelp
What a cool bar and restaurant, located on the 27th floor of the Hyatt Regency, Downtown Denver. This has a sophisticated appearance but a relaxed vibe. This place also has great views of the city. The bar staff was great. I just so happened to be there when a local liquor rep for Lee Spirits was there. I had an opportunity to try some of Peaks traditional drinks with a twist on spirits. The Rep had some great options and they definitely made the signature drinks even more memorable. The food offering was food. I tried pork belly sliders and sushi. They were great. A colleague tried the habanero mango wings. He said he enjoyed them. They had a very lite spicy kick to them. All in all, it was a great time at a great place. Worth the visit.
google avatar

Dana K.

Yelp
I just had one drink here and no food, but the views are spectacular looking out over the city. It's busy, but relaxed. We didn't feel rushed. I believe it's on the 17th floor in this Hyatt.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome views, good place to get your drink on... a bit expensive but worth the views and environment...
google avatar

Ornella S.

Yelp
Issa yes for me. After dinner, my friend and I decided to pop up to peaks lounge for some drinks. This lounge is the rooftop bar atop the 27-story Hyatt Regency hotel. Once you walk in, you see a beautiful and modern decor with panoramic views of the Mile High City and the Rocky Mountains. The ambience is a mix of elevated yet chill atmosphere. We sat down and a server greeted us. I ordered a classic old fashioned drink. Considering that whiskey drinks are my staple cocktails, I was anxious to try it. From presentation to taste, I was impressed. Pleasantly sweet, the cocktail had a nice blend of bourbon, sugar cube, bitters, topped with a cherry garnish. Balanced. Bold. Sippable. Well done. Now it's a bit pricey $$$ but you really can't beat the views. Trust me, it's worth it. Overall, perfect spot to hangout for cocktails with good company.

Mike S.

Yelp
The bartender was super nice. However, we grabbed a table and proceeded to be ignored by waiter after 3 attempts and multiple instances of recognition on his part. I guess don't come here if you look under 30 years old because this particular gentleman won't give you the time of day. Experience was ehhh.
google avatar

Tarena Z.

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere and great service. They have a small menu of light bites. I wouldn't say there are enough options for a proper dinner, but they have some munchies. They do have 1 vegan dish on the menu. I have seen this place packed as well as mostly empty, and each time, I have enjoyed it. It's worth a stop, maybe a few!!!
google avatar

Polly L.

Yelp
You come here for the view. And the view is really nice especially you're a tourist (like me!). Drinks and food are on the slightly expensive side but not outrageous. My drinks were delicious and chicken wings were good too, but of course ymmv. I took pictures of their menu cuz when I did research on the place I couldn't find an updated one, so here you go :)
google avatar

Daniel F.

Yelp
Recently completed a stay at the Hyatt Regency. I had a great Manhattan and an even better salmon dish here. If you like salmon and curry, make sure to try the salmon with coconut curry and green papaya salad.
google avatar

Kyle O.

Yelp
This is the ultimate place to show guests an amazing sunset with a few cocktails and appetizers on the 27th floor of the Hyatt convention center building. The food and drinks are well made with an open bar selection, some specialty drinks, and a few local crafts available. The service is formal but they don't rush you out as they know you're there for the amazing skyline view of the city and mountains. You can view Union station, Pepsi center, Mile high, partial Rockies stadium, and the entire mountain range from Pikes all the way up towards Boulders. It's always a staple stop on my list when visitors come to town! Best time to hit this place up is about 45 minutes from sunset. Best place in Denver to experience a sunset over the mountains!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this bar out for awhile after seeing Westwood's feature of the secret bars in Denver. These are some things I wondered before I visited, so I'll answer these questions for other viewers. Do I need to be a hotel guest to go to the bar? No Do I need a reservation? No, the bar had many open seats even when it was busy. Do I need to dress up? Not really although there are some business casual folks there. Just like everyone else on these reviews, the view of the sunset mountains and downtown denver at night was breath taking. Make sure to check the sunset time to make sure you get the full experience of the bar. The drinks are a tad expensive, but hey you're on the 27th floor of a downtown Hyatt. I didn't try the food but they had several items on their "light fares" that could suffice your needs! I highly recommend this bar!
