First time; I asked for spicy, the spiciest possible and it was mild. The pearl curry was good with cashews in it but it was bland to me. Needs lots more seasoning and chili peppers. The spring rolls were ok, I wouldn’t try them again. The fried tofu was good, I wouldn’t eat it by itself so I put it in my curry. I would be up to coming back and trying more items though. The menu is decently large with lots of vegan/vegetarian options. Thai tea was good!

Google
Best Thai Restaurant at Missouri! My favorite is the chef specials fried rice with chicken. I modified mine with smaller cut of red and green peppers same with onions. They even went above and beyond by made fish cake and Thai sausage that I requested! I literally ate there every day 😋 hopefully this will help y’all! Fried tofu and ribs also my other favorite here.

The service at Pearl Cafe cannot be beaten. The food is amazing, authentic, fast, and served by an amazing staff. Their drink selection is unparalleled. Their bourbon selection lays wast to bourbon bars, their beers are more varied than any beer snob could dream of. Whether trying to impress friends/dates, or desiring to have an amazing family dinner, Pearl Cafe is your goto in north county.

Went for lunch and was so impressed by the portions and prices… and of course the food. The fried sweet potato appetizer thing was life changing. Other people have mentioned how good the crab rangoon are - and I agree. We had red curry, pad thai, and the mixed vegetables. All were wonderful. The Thai Iced Coffee was great too. I’ve had more authentic or intensely flavored Thai food at other places and I’ve made it myself with the PokPok cookbook. But, I’m not knocking Pearl Cafe in anyway. Is a great spot to grab some reasonably priced Thai food for lunch.

A friend of mine introduced me to Pearl Cafe almost 8 years ago, and I can't thank her for turning me on to this jewel. The food is the best I've ever had. I called to speak with the owner, and at first, he was scared thinking I had a complaint. But oh Contrares. I shared that the food was by far the most delicious and that I had never been there but would definitely be coming back. The portion was great, the meal was priced right, and the only disappointment was the last bite, because I wanted more. If you are looking for good Thai food, this is the spot. The Thai Fried Rice with chicken, shrimp, and bean sprouts is my favorite. Thanks Pearl Cafe. I'll see you soon.

Google
Delicious food! Got a little carried away and ordered multiple items from the menu. The good: The spicy basil chicken, pearl’s spicy curry, and stir fried garlic were my favorites. The sweet rice custard was really good (that got gobbled up quickly). The fried spring rolls were good. I will order these dishes again, and I recommend them. The so-so: The sauce on the Thai braised chicken was good (their version of General Tso), but I wasn’t really feeling the way the chicken was prepared, it was a little tougher than expected. The chili wings sauce also had good flavor, but the chicken wings were kinda dry and hard (disappointing). The Thai butterflies had great taste, but were over fried and harder than expected. I would give all these dishes a second (or even third) try, because they had great taste, they all just seemed a little over fried. Over all, the ratings is based on the taste of the food and the great service I received while there ordering my food. I will return.

Google
Wow! Wow! Wow! Who says North County doesn’t represent when it comes to top notch restaurants? Well I certainly wouldn’t ever say that because Pearl Cafe is a prime example of outstanding cuisine right off Lindbergh highway 67. Wow. Everything on this menu it excellent. I’ll be back all the time to try the entire menu. My favorite appetizer here are the fried sweet potatoes.

Google
Pearl Thai Cafe is easily one of the best restaurants in Florissant... and one of the best Thai spots in all of St. Louis. The Panang Curry is outstanding, and the Thai Ribs are truly exceptional. Great food. Highly recommend.

Yelp
It's a nice looking, small place on the inside. I like the vibes. It's dark and kind of quaint looking. I haven't quite found a favorite dish yet but I'd like to keep trying. They have a good selection of Thai and Vietnamese dishes. A lot of local people love this place and rave about it.

Yelp
Went here for an early lunch so there was plenty of seating. There is a lunch special which I wanted to order, but they don't allow any substitutions so I ordered off the regular menu. Food was flavorful and the menu has many vegan options, I will definitely be adding this as a regular lunch spot. Staff was helpful and friendly and decor was classy. Music playing gave a nice vibe

Yelp
Ordered crispy shrimp rolls while I waited for my friend's order to be prepared. She has never been here, so I told her to get the Thai ribs, shrimp rolls and my personal fav Panang curry with shrimp. It comes with a side of rice. I know she is going to love it We are going to have to eat in soon.

Yelp
This is one of my top restaurants to go to and my favorite Thai restaurant of all time! Customer service is truly amazing. The inside is nice and cozy to eat in. However I took it to-go. Everything I ate was good except the Thai fried rice I thought it was okay. The drunkin noodles were amazing. I added the level 3 spice and it was actually spicy. I honestly didn't think I would enjoy the coconut shrimp curry but it was recommended to me and I fell in love with all the flavors! The ribs were tender and flavorful. I recommend this spot to everyone I meet.

Yelp
Back at it again to try this massive menu. Second visit and counting. On this day I ordered the Bangkok noodle with shrimp and crispy won tons. For Drink I ordered the 4hands brewing Pineapple Prussia. In my opinion the Bangkok noodle was very good and steaming hot. All vegetables were crunchy and delicious and plentiful, but the noodles remind me of cooked Ramen noodles with no water. It became sticky really quick and this evaporated the noodles into mush. So I feel this was just a fancy overpriced ramen noodle dish I can make at home. Now the won tons were fantastic. Crispy nice portion and beautiful golden. . My drink was more of a cider than a beer but either way I loved it. I would definitely get it again. Service was speedy and staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back for more. Until next time :)

Yelp
Oh my days. If I could just submit that for my review I would, but I must write more. No words can describe this place I'm not gonna lie. What's so sad is that so many people, even in North County, don't know about this place. I'd ask them, "Ever heard of Pearl Cafe?" and they'll look at me as if I said something outrageous. I really do feel bad, not just for Pearl Cafe, but for those missing out. Where do I even begin? The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, a nice, beautiful, quiet place with amazing service. There was a time I forgot to order a drink on the phone, went in there to order my drink when I arrived at the restaurant, the server there gave it to me for free. I nearly cried. Never do you ever see that today. But that means nothing if the food doesn't hold up. The Basil Leaf Fried Rice is absolutely gorgeous, on an appearance level, and taste-wise. No words here will describe any food here satisfactory. It is elegant, delightful, and on another level. There is really not much more I can say. The spice is amazing. I've always hated when restaurants claim that their food is spicy, just to add a single gram of crushed red pepper. Level 3 spice is perfect for me, it gives you the perfect experience of a shiver in your mouth, while allowing you to enjoy it fully. I adore this place. If you're in the mood for noodles, I will also highly recommend the Sen Yai Nam Prik Pao. We as a society really don't deserve Pearl Cafe. We are so, so lucky to have them.

Yelp
Went to Pearl Cafe with a decent-sized group for a weekday lunch around 11:45, and we were seated immediately. Half of our group ordered the lunch specials, which come with rice, a fried spring roll, Thai butterfly, and the soup of the day. I got the yellow curry, which was delicious. The sauce was on the runnier side, but I didn't mind, and the spice level was just right. The soup of the day was glass noodles with carrots, but we found it a bit too salty. My coworker ordered the basil chicken and thought it was also on the salty side, so if you're sensitive to salt, you might want to choose something else. However, I didn't find the curry salty, and the portion size was good. Overall, it was a solid lunch spot with some tasty options.

Yelp
We have been to this place many times and we love it! They always open on time and their food is so good. Usually busy around 5-8pm. This is a medium size place with 7-8 tables. They also have outdoor seating! Enough space to serve many people. Also the waiters are always nice. Service is fast. Today we ordered Satay Chicken as appetizer, was grilled, served with coconut & (I think) peanut sauce and cucumber salad. So good! Our Kirin Ichiban beers served in glass, we love it! Then we've got Thai Rama w/chicken (veggies, chicken, coconut milk sauce + side steamed rice) and Pearl's Bibimbop came with sunny side up egg, soy, veggies, rice and chicken. Thai Rama was delicious but has little too much coconut flavor in it, we prefer less. Overall, this was, again, an amazing Thai food experience! We will definitely come back.

Yelp
Picked up a lunch special after easily ordering online. Service was very friendly and the interior makes me want to dine in soon. Ordered the green curry (3) with pork. The curry was incredible. Some of the best I've had. The special also comes with a small egg roll, a crab butterfly, and cabbage soup(the day I ordered). The sides were good but the star was the curry. It was a good portion too. 15$ + tip ended up being 18$ so it's not an inexpensive lunch. They're also very rigid with the lunch special. Wanted to add one more Rangoon but no substitutions. I'll be back.

Yelp
I have a couple of favorite dishes from here: Sen Yai Num Prik Paow ordered with veggies (sans mushrooms and bamboo shoots). This is a very flavorful dish and I find myself craving it often. It is a noodle dish and they use rice noodles. The first time I got a spice level 4 and it was just ok. The last couple of times I ordered spice level 5 and it gave me the level of spice that I enjoy. 10/10 would order again. Thai Chili Fried Rice ordered with well done tofu, added garlic. Another flavorful dish from here. There's a good portion of broccoli and red peppers included with the green peppers and scallions. Spice level 4 was good but not spicy. Spice level 5 brought some spice, but the rice seemed a little drier, as if they didn't use as much chili sauce/oil. Still 10/10 would order again. Pearl's Spicy Curry with veggies (sans mushrooms); no protein. I ordered it at a spice level 4 and it had a little kick to it, but not too spicy. This curry is delicious. I particularly liked the level of curry provided; it was a very good portion. I remember trying them a few years back (I don't remember what I ordered though) and it being ok, but not good enough to want to come back. Not sure if I ordered the wrong thing back then or if they've improved. Either way, I've found my go to spot for Thai, and it's worth the drive.

Yelp
I enjoy pearls, they have delicious food and good service. When you pull in, you will find plenty of parking space and they have a private parking lot. You walk through the front door and you're usually greeted. There is a sign, stating that they will seat you at a table, however, I am a regular and they let me sit anywhere I want, as I think most regulars can, unless they are crowded, most people should walk in and they will seat you. You won't have too long if any. The food is delicious. It's a Thai restaurant so make sure you like Thai food and they do have a few vegetarian options. The only thing I've seen vegetarian is a tofu or vegetable entree and a few appetizers. You won't be disappointed and it's delicious and I love the Thai tea, be sure to try one. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've eaten here. The dessert menu is kind of small, but as a matter of fact, I have not made it to dessert because I usually order two entrees or appetizers and entrees and after that I am full.. The prices are moderate. They're not too expensive. Two people can go for lunch with drinks, three entrees or two entrees and an appetizer like $45 bucks. Just say $50 with the tip and that's actually almost three people. Now the dinner menu is a little more expensive and those prices are going to be a little higher, but the lunch menu is more economical.

Yelp
Very quiet and interesting place. I'm not usually a fan of Thai food because they contain peanuts in their food but this chicken stirfry was really great. It had the perfect amount of acidity and spice in the rice had a great fluffy texture. The one thing that I wish that there was more up would be vegetables. The portion sizes are pretty good, I was definitely full off of this meal for a while. The service team was nice as well. I'm not sure if I would come back here again, but it definitely has some potential!

Yelp
This was my second time and man they do not disappoint! Food is incredible and so many gluten free options.
google avatar

Pash W.

Yelp
The wait is always pretty long because the food always comes out hot and fresh. The inside is pretty small so my family and I don't eat inside often. I've had the curry chicken (probably my favorite dish), crab Rangoon, Thai chili chicken fried rice, ribs, and chicken and everything is always phenomenal. I've even tried to make the fried rice, like theirs, at home! Consistently good customer service as well. Don't ever change Pearl Café'!!
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
This is a nice place to sit down and have a meal with a group or by yourself. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are very decent. I've only gone during the week around lunch time and have gotten seated immediately. The reason I couldn't give more stars is because the food is just okay. It didn't have a whole lot of flavor, especially for Thai food. I'll give it some more tries though because it was a good experience and there are so many great reviews. Just a bit underwhelming for me so far.
google avatar

Chad B.

Yelp
All the food here is delicious and bursting with flavor. My mouth waters as soon as I walk in the door and smell the curries. I highly recommend the panang curry. It is aromatic and the right amount of spice. The service is always laid back and perfect for the ambiance at Pearl Cafe. This is one of my favorites in North county.

Karl S.

Yelp
Delivery was done well. The noodles in the Pad Thai were delicious but overcooked. Overall a good meal.

Yelp
Food My go to for glass noodles! Try the seafood especially! Service Always order takeout. Ambiance Local feel. Not much seating available.

Yelp
Small place with big flavors. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They offered great recommendations. I had my first boba tea and so good! I can't wait to go back and try something new.

Yelp
Yummy Thai food. Chicken pad Thai was very flavorful and delicious. My friend had the panang curry which was even better.
google avatar

Beck E.

Yelp
A friend of mine recommended Pearl Cafe to me over a year ago, and I am annoyed at myself for not checking it out sooner! I'm not usually in the neighborhood, but my husband was craving Thai food for lunch one day, and we wanted to do something different. So we placed a takeout order and drove to Florissant. The woman who took my order on the phone was very helpful - my pandemic brain couldn't remember the name of the Sen Yai Num Prik Paow. Hubby ordered the pad Thai with shrimp. Both dishes were very flavorful and well worth the drive. Hoping to return for takeout again, and can't wait for this pandemic to be over so I can dine in!
google avatar

Roshonda C.

Yelp
The food here is sooooooo good! I would definitely recommend the ribs! They were absolutely delicious
google avatar

Terrill S.

Yelp
Best curry I've ever had! I also enjoy the unique alcohol selection & the service is always good too!
google avatar

Toni M.

Yelp
Honestly, best curry I've ever had! The food overall is really good! Altho I don't recommend going above a spicy leve 5 if you can't handle spice very well
google avatar

Neil L.

Yelp
Been here a few times for lunch with folks from work. It's in my top 3 lunch spots for sure. Their curry dishes are pretty awesome. Especially with shrimp. I tried their tofu and wasn't a fan. But aside from that, I liked everything I've had.
google avatar

Julie J.

Yelp
Always great food and great service! Tried the bibimbap for the first time and it did not disappoint! As delicious as it was beautiful
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely love Pearl Cafe! The food is always fresh and flavorful. I live a bit away but it's worth the drive. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the saint Louis area. I will keep coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and no waiting ! The owners are outstanding and super nice! I eat here every week.

Robert C.

Yelp
Food and service were top shelf. Super clean premises. Great ambience! Blah blah blah blah yoddi yoddi yodda

Nette B.

Yelp
Love the curry and fried rice. Like the selection of spirits. The ambience is welcoming.

Yelp
This is a pretty simple, nondescript even, place inside, but it is easy to find from the street with the bright signs outside. Yet it was calm and relaxing inside, with our server and other staff being polite, friendly, quiet, and efficient. Food was very good, and pretty inexpensive. Fried spring roll appetizer had smaller rolls than I expected, but that actually worked well so that I didn't overfill before the entree. And they were tasty, too. The wife's Thai rama w/tofu was a delicious surprise. It was mainly a mix of vegetables, heavy on the large spinach leaves, with fried tofu. But the sauce was this light brown savory concoction that we just kept spooning up - delicious. My Thai fried rice was similarly good. It too seemed to have some sort of sauce, that wouldn't be on Chinese fried rice. However, not enough sauce to drip off. The chicken pieces were both large and tender. A nice change from traditional Chinese fried rice.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Thai food in an old fast food "Hardee's", lots of large tv's to watch. Had the shrimp roll, crab Rangoon and shrimp fried rice all good, the rice was a bit moist, I like mine drier and not soggy. I did ask for extra egg and all I got was a few shreds of eggs, not sure she understood me. All in all nice fair priced lunch, I did not try any main dishes, but will make it back for a second try.
google avatar

Alyssa S.

Yelp
Great menu and fantastic service, even when they're super busy. Get there early to beat the rush or you'll be waiting.

Yelp
I have been hearing rave reviews about Pearl Café, so I was excited to finally make a visit with some fellow Yelp Elite friends. We arrived right at 5 pm so there was no wait. We ordered several appetizers to share: Fresh Spring Rolls, Crispy Shrimp Rolls, Thai Dumplings, Thai Grilled Ribs & Sticky Rice, and Thai Chili Wings. Each and every one was absolutely delicous. The ribs in particular were exceptional...so good you want to get every morsel off the bone! Seriously I could make a meal out of them...and just might next time now that I know you can order a half rack for an entree! For our entrees this time we ordered: Bankok Noodles (with glass noodles), Curry Beef & Noodles, Pineapple Fried Rice with Tofu, Thai Chili Fried Rice, and Yellow Curry with Chicken. All were good, but the curry was possibly the best curry I've ever had. Portions was extremely generous as well. We all took some home. I don't often make it up to North County, but I will definitely be back to eat at Pearl. As a sweet bonus to our visit we got to sit and talk with Miss Robbie from Sweetie Pies while she waited for her To Go order. Such a sweet lady and a delicous dinner. Great night all around!!
google avatar

Joe K.

Yelp
I came here to catch lunch with a friend and he suggested it because it's his #2 best Thai place on his list. The place is on the smaller side for seating, but the environment is nice. They have an awesome whiskey and beer selection and showcased in the restaurant. 5 star if it had more room, but luckily, my friend said we came on a less crowded day. I ordered the green curry and it was a decent portion for lunch and reasonable price. All the food came out hot and fresh in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely come here again.
google avatar

Tyler G.

Yelp
I'm passing through, and there weren't a lot of quality dinner options in the area (Hendel's was packed). I gave this a go and was very pleasantly surprise. Simple all around, but the staff was nice and the chicken pad Thai was delicious. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Aubrey V.

Yelp
First time I had it it was absolutely amazing! I got chicken pad Thai. Nice portion, great taste. Just really good. Would rate it 4 starts. This time when I got it, it was not very flavorful overall and the chicken was not as good either. Bland noodles. There was also lots of tofu mixed in which I don't like at all. Will give them another shot to see if this was just an off night and figure out what the norm is!
google avatar

Tiffany S.

Yelp
I finally had the opportunity to visit Pearl Cafe after a while of following them on Instagram and drooling over their photos. This small little restaurant located on Lindbergh in Florissant is phenomenal! Their selection of Thai dishes are mind blowing and from what I experienced, they do it all well. Me and a troupe of friends started over with a variety of appetizers. Shrimp spring rolls, which were so fresh and crisp and chilled perfectly paired with a delightful sauce, fried shrimp spring rolls which were amazing and packed full of shrimp, and an order of the Thai ribs with sticky rice. A moment on the Thai ribs....they were delish! OMG they were seasoned great and falling off the bone good! We also had the chili Thai wings and the dumplings. Both of those apps were good but the show stopper was the ribs. The fried shrimp spring rolls was a close second. For my entree I decided not to get my "safe" entree of pad Thai and had the curry beef with noodles! I am SO glad I did! It was amazing! And it was a huge portion for $10.95. So if you haven't been to pearl cafe, check it out NOW! If you enjoy Thai food this place won't disappoint. Our server could have been a little more attentive with more table touches, but his lack of attentiveness was not bad enough to warrant the loss of a star, due to the great food.

Tommy D.

Yelp
Excellent food, quick friendly service. Highly recommended for lovers of Thai cuisine. We had 3 different menu items, and all were hot and flavorful. Food came out quickly too.
google avatar

Toni H.

Yelp
Great fresh tasty food. Did a catering order for our office meeting. Was a hit!will definitely be back.

J W.

Yelp
I picked this place because of their 4.5 stars. I ordered yellow curry, fried spring rolls, and fried rice. The fried rice had absolutely no flavor at all. The spring rolls were soooo small, and they were $6.50. As for the curry, it was better than the rest of the food. It says it comes with potatoes but I didn't see them. When I called regarding the potatoes I was informed that they look like carrots. This was my first time here and I chose not to go back. Now the ambiance was nice and welcoming.
google avatar

Sandra K.

Yelp
Soooo it was good but not the best I've ever had. Had the lunch specials and it came with a little veggie soup which was good. The spring roll and crab Rangoon was also good. My pad Thai was super sweet but the seafood with it was good. The chicken satay was tasty and the chicken lahb was good too. Overall a good place.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
One of the best Thai restaurants in St. Louis! We are lucky to have them in Florissant!
google avatar

Yelp
Food and service excellent!!! If you have any questions about any of the menu items, they will explain and give recommendations. The restaurant is always clean and inviting.

Yelp
Always delicious, fast, and affordable! Green curry lunch special every time I'm in town I make a point to dine here.

Yelp
Great Thai food. Great service. Love this place. Red chicken curry is awesome. Songood

Yelp
Pad Thai is my favorite. Good service good food. It's a must try in north county Yummy

Yelp
First time trying Pearl and it was phenomenal! Pleasant service and truly delicious food. We ordered the Thai braised chicken (comes with white rice), bbq pork fried rice, fresh spring rolls, and crispy shrimp rolls. The crispy shrimp rolls and bbq pork fried rice were my personal favorites!

Tamara J.

Yelp
Food is always hot, fresh, and amazing! I love their yellow curry plate at lunch time. They open at 11:30am, so get there early due to limited seating. Quaint, and fast service, make it to get in and out quickly. Don't forget, they have take out service as well! ENJOY!
